Coal blinked a little bit as the other puffed out her chest; she had to wonder what kind of artwork that Avalon did. She was immensely curious about all sorts of things regarding the dragon and her family. Artisans wasn’t something she was expecting them; perhaps fighters seemed a bit more in line? Then again it was the toughness of the other’s hide that had made her think that.
”Oh. That would make sense; there’s some that’s under the sand on the other side of that wall.”
Coal gestured towards the wall she was talking about and turned back to her ‘drawings’. The shadows would fade away and thankfully the other would be able to see what she was meaning. The fact none of them were draconic but many of them were monstrous in a way… did lead to the interesting fact of why coal was comfortable around such strong beasts.
”Ma is capable of super mega; one of the brightest cores I’ve ever seen to the point of it being almost blinding… Da is just a little under that but in a different way if that makes sense? Not so much blinding as… well. Darkish. Kinda. Uhm… I’d say our house is pretty big yeah.”
Coal glanced to Avalon; flicking her ears a few times as she could feel her own meeting the dragon’s. Even with the wireframe she could tell that there was a kindness, a gentle touch that they had compared to what she had expected. The renamon blinked a little bit and then giggled.
”I’ll let him know, maybe he’ll make the glass out of something less… breakable.”
The renamon-x would reach to rap the dragon’s scales with her knuckles; nodding her head slowly with a grin.
”He’ll probably wonder why I wasn’t wearing the straps for them but I didn’t think that the device would do this… heh.”
Coal hummed a little bit and tilted her head a bit. How to explain what a core looked like to someone that hadn’t seen one? She’d look to her own hands and then down to her own chest. She could see her own core thumping, rotating and burning gently with power. In comparison avalon’s might not have the same brightness but it was a powerful, gentle and outright friendly glow. It was almost hard for Coal not to stare; in fact it’d take a few moments for her to look away back off to the sky.
”It’s… well it’s like a little orb of energy; and the stronger you are and the personality you have affects it a bit… Or a lot. Some people that are more muted have really quiet looking cores and then there’s… well there’s people like you who it’s hard not to stare at. It’s not like ma’s who’s like blinding but friendly. Uhm. But yeah it should help. If they’re feral they’ll be a lot more rugged or hostile it’ll usually be… agitatedish.”
Coal sat back up, feeling her on core spinning a bit and she could feel her cheeks flush lightly. Why had she said that bit about avalon’s core to the dragon? Maybe it was because the other had been so nice to her or just that there was a level of comfort around… people that she felt she could trust?
