He did it. He know the blood might give his position away, and looks like it'll persist for a while. Canisdramon flexed his hindleg the moment his opponent dodged and prepares himself for a counterattack. Indeed, the other Digimon followed suit with his own brand of attack. Canisdramon grinned and aimed a kick to the opposing Digimon on the snout. If the Digimon closes his eyes, perhaps high chance that it'll hit.
Using the force of the approaching Dark Haze, Canisdramon leaped. His left foot slightly hurting from the daredevil move, but otherwise, it's alright. Now, that he landed, he quickly twisted himself and activating Luna Booster again, but this time, he have a bit advantage. His enemy couldn't possibly land that fast! Canisdramon however, folded his wings instead of spreading it.
Once again, when near enough to his opponent, the wolf-dragon hybrid rolled himself, doing a full front flip, another variation of his Rem Blitz hit.

Sangloupmon's attack didn't quite get any effect, because Cansidramon just used him as a stepping stone to leap mid-air and perform another Rem Blitz attack, this time on a different pattern. However, it had commited a mistake. Bursting from Sangloupmon's head, Yuuki's partner had moved up in the air and performed to strike at him now, but due to the fact that he had jumped using his foe, it had propelled him to the ground, giving him enough time to jump and meet Canisdramon head on.
As he had collided with its leg, Dark-Haze boost had increased, granting him more speed and power onto his next attack, so he met the Rem Blitz with his own attack, moving in a spiral pattern just as he had done before. Doing this, he would make Canisdramon's trajectory unstable, as the wheel-like attack would not be running in flat ground, but in a spinning one, which would make the rotation much more difficult and even sickening if the Digimon wasn't careful enough.
If he managed to stop Rem Blitz, he might be able to get a clean hit on his assailant, but it was yet to be seen if his strategy would work as well as he thought it would.

"GUH!"
Definitely, the impact was much stronger than he anticipated. Canisdramon could see the other lupine Digimon trying to propel him to the sky. However, it made a small mistake. Canisdramon might be unable to fly, but glide wise, he can, although that most probably will consume his attack. Canisdramon theorizes that if he just like that roll to the ground, high chance that his enemy might immediately attempt to strike him. Canisdramon let himself get propelled upward, but he got a strategy...
"Prism Dance, Radiant Howl!!"
Right before the crystals could shoot out to direction of the target in shape of triangle that would circle Sangloupmon, Canisdramon shoot his Radiant Howl to direction of other canine digimon. However, his strategy just started. Among the six Radiant Echo that speeds off to Sangloupmon, two was aimed to the ground near Canisdramon, creating small dust smoke screen. It's all that the Digimon needed, though.
If his attack has succeeded, he will use Vanish the moment he landed. That, if he doesn't get hit.
Rem Blitz: Canceled. No buff this time either. Prism Dance: 1 Turn Left

Even though he had hit the other Digimon with his Dark Haze, Canisdramon was far from finished yet. This time, it tried to repeat the same thing he had done before with the crystals, shooting a Radiant Howl to hit him with both that and the Radiant Echo attacks. This time, however, Sangloupmon had a chance to avoid it, even in mid-air. Consuming his Dark-Haze boost, he bursted downwards, using the nearest crystal as a stepping stone to jump away from the attack.
As he flew away, the light-like beam passed right at his left, followed by four attacks of Radiant Echo. He then landed, as he thought that the two remaining beams couldn't hit, due to their trajectory... how didn't he realize it was a trap? As the attacks landed on the ground, a cloud of dust was risen. Without Bloodthirst triggered, Sangloupmon had no chance to detect his foe, so Tatsuya told him to get out of the dust cloud as soon as possible.
-Pounce out of there, Sangloupmon! -he told his partner, to which the latter replied by muttering a "ryokai". After getting away, he still couldn't see Canisdramon, so he figured he would be behind the dust cloud, charging yet another Radiant Howl. He prepared to dodge, but the attack never came.
-"What the hell is he doing...?" -thought the lupine Digimon, as the dust negating vision of the area began fading. The wolf-like monster then gasped, looking at his surroundings. Nobody was there. He tilted his head upwards and to the sides to check behind him as well, but it was futile. Canisdramon had disappeared! Could that mean it could turn invisible? Damn! He had used his Dark Haze boost to avoid the previous blast, so he couldn't rely on that speed and power enhancement, at least for that time.
-"Darn it..." -he thought, flexing his limbs so he could at least be prepared to dodge an assault. But how would he be able to defend himself when his opponent was nowhere to be seen?

Canisdramon grinned. His enemy really haven't thought that he could do this, can he? As the light is plentiful in this kind of situation, he can easily bend the light and turn invisible. He, however, cannot turn invisible at dark places. Now, the tide has changed slightly. Canisdramon saw that his crystal has yet to be broken. It slowly masks its own odor by rolling slightly on the ground stealthily. Now, he slowly goes to Sangloupmon's backside, preparing to attack.
If his opponent can be caught by surprise, perhaps he'll try to use the Dark Haze once more... and by that time, Canisdramon would love it if the attack got divided into two. Despite the produced Radiant Echo from that split will be be 2.5% each hit instead of 5%, he still will get a chance to play around with Sangloupmon. As the attack charges, Canisdramon prepared himself for the cancellation of his buff...
"RADIANT HOWL!!" Cansidramon tossed the attack with more firepower than before, passing the first crystal and producing two Radiant Echo. How would the other Digimon respond, he have no idea, but Canisdramon quickly speeds off to circle his opponent. His Prism Dance will end this turn. He's starting to feel tired, probably the match will end soon.

Sangloupmon looked around, though it was in vain. No traces of the Canisdramon could be found in the battle-field anymore. Perhaps if he had taken the grass in consideration, things would've been different, but Dorumon still had no experience in actual one on one battles, so it was easily expected to be fooled by a special ability such as Yuuki's partner's.
Still... there was something they could do. Tatsuya quickly worked around the fact that they couldn't see their opponent. If he couldn't be found, then perhaps they would have to make him... reveal itself.-Sangloupmon! Use Shadow Cannon as a continuous stream, and use it to check the terrain, which means, spin while you do it! The wolf-like Digimon smiled to his Tamer's request. He was starting to feel tired, so they would need to have energy to spare.
Despite that, he followed suit to his partner's proposition. Taking a look at the crystals, he decided that he should do something about them too. -Shadow... CANNON! -it roared, as he fired a continuous stream of laser-like dark energy. He then tilted his head and moved his body along, covering the area and damaging the crystals as he had done in the past minutes.
As the lupine Digimon did that, both Tatsuya and himself kept an eye on their surroundings. As he reached a point behind his position, he could only wonder if his opponent would've been in a spot as predictable as that, and indeed, it was just as a novice as Sangloupmon. As Canisdramon revealed itself and fired a Radiant Howl, the attack collided in a power clash with Shadow Cannon. Giving its all, the lupine digimon poured his will into the attack in an attempt to beat the other Digimon's light stream.

Hm, looks like he's not as novice as he thought. That's good. It's about the time the crystals gave up, too. However, with this kind of light vs darkness, just how much he can hold? Afterall, Canisdramon took a little break by masking his odor just now, and his enemy has tensed since long, and plus, to circle the field with breath attack like that... What a determination. However, he have faith to himself. He's sure he can win. And even so, it's not by this breath kind of attack!!
Breaking the stalemate midway, Canisdramon rolled to the side and tries to catch his enemy offguard with his Luna Booster once more, he poured all of his strength to the Rem Blitz attack, aiming it at the other Digimon's head. However, if he tried to dodge, Canisdramon would stab his front claw on the ground, doing a rotation full rotation on spot and blast off with another Rem Blitz hit.
He hoped that the duel will end soon... with his win, of course. The other Digimon might be as determined to win as he's tenacious, but he's also tenacious!

OOC: Should we finish this already?
Just as Canisdramon broke the clash between the beams, it rolled to the side, evading Shadow Cannon. Sangloupmon closed his mouth, making a "tch" sound, but it seemed that the other Digimon still had another trick up its sleeve. As he lunged forward, it used Rem Blitz once more, slightly negating vision for a split second, which meant that it would be impossible to dodge the charge. The digimon was not up to giving up and let himself be hit, but he couldn't find a counter-strategy.
Thankfully, his Tamer quickly realized there was a chance to win the fight, and it depended on the following move. -Sangloupmon! Use a powered up Swipe to stop the charge! -the teen commanded, making the wolf-like Digimon rise its paws to fend off the incoming charge. As Canisdramon was about to impact, he used his wolf like reflexes to attack in front of his face, hitting Canis Gladius with his blade-covered paws, which were covered in a dark aura. As they struggled, sparks started flying due to the clash.
-C'mon, Sangloupmon, you can do it!!!! I know you can!!!! -Tatsuya shouted to his Digimon. -"Okay... this ends here... and now!" -Sangloupmon thought, and he charged his remaining strength into his mouth. As he poured all of his spirit and determination into it, the lupine Digimon called out one last attack. -SHADOW CANNON! -he screamed, releasing a point-blank range blast that would be nearly impossible for Canisdramon to dodge, since it had too much speed to make a sudden change of directions, due to the activation of his Luna Booster. Having targeted Canis Gladius, the source of the attack, also played in their favour, as it negated part of Canisdramon's ability to perform complex mid-air movements. If he moved his wings or changed its position, the attack would hit the other Digimon's neck, which was very dangerous.
As the attack was fired, a burst of darkness followed. Sangloupmon leaped backwards, landing on four. His paws were hurt from the maneuver, his body was hurt, and he had no energy left. He better have finished off his opponent with that, or else, he wouldn't know what else he could do.

OOC: Up to you. I personally think both Digimon is too tired to fight one more time anyway.
"No... this... won't... end... here!!" Canisdramon angrily barked back. Letting himself to be pushed away by the dark cannon, he let himself to take the least damage and gain some distance before quickly activating his Luna Booster midair, flipping backward once, activating his Luna booster once more to send himself to the ground, then leap forward once more with the jet activated. Instead of doing the same tactic, and probably only will gain the same result, Canisdramon opted for the most logical thing to do. The moment his enemy landed...
"RADIANT.. HOWL!!"
The burst of light, enhanced by the leftover speed of Luna Booster shoot to the other canine's direction. However, such movement made Canisdramon tripped. His legs cannot keep up anymore. He just hope that the attack would hit... and even if he doesn't win, he hope it'll be draw...
"Yuuki... even until the end... you have faith in me, don't you...? Thanks..." Canisdramon muttered as he saw his partner running to his direction.

As Sangloupmon landed, he barely had energy left. He would only be able to move once again, but then he would run out of energy. Right after he did, the Canisdramon, in a desperate move, used his Radiant Howl once again, shooting it at his position. It was too fast to be able to dodge it just by pouncing, specially given how weakened he was at that moment.
Tatsuya, thinking as fast as he could, pondered the various chances. If Sangloupmon got hit, it was game over. Thus, dodging would seem the best choice... if he wasn't too injured to be at top speed. However, there was something he could do about it. It would probably result in his Digimon not be able to fight anymore, but...
-Sangloupmon! Use Dark Haze to avoid it! I know what you're thinking, but we are still not beaten up! -the Tamer said. Sangloupmon knew how harsh the situation was, but realized as well that the only chance to escape the blast was to use the shadowy aura's speed boost to dodge the attack. He wasn't even sure that would do, though. -Dark... Haze... -the lupine digimon weakly muttered, as his body was enveloped in a much thinner layer of shadows, revealing its bad condition.
Using his remaining strength, he jumped away, but the attack got his tail nonetheless, making the protection fade , the Radiant Howl hitting that part of his body. Still, he had managed to minimize the damage, but he roared in pain, nonetheless. As he landed again, his right front paw failed him. Still... the lupine digimon was too proud to let himself be beaten by even its own injuries, and he kept standing on four with sheer willpower. -"I... can't... lose here!!!!" -it thought as he breather heavily, its eyes closed due to the tired state he was in.
Tatsuya, as Yuuki had did with his Digimon, rushed to his aid. As if trying to help him keep on four, he petted its mane. -Sangloupmon! You did a great job... You did your best, and I'm very proud of you -he paused slightly, and his partner, to his surprise, slightly smalled. He then noticed the burning on his Digimon's tail, that took form of a small scar. He wondered if it would be permanent, or would just fade with the Digivolution.

"Drats, that guy still standing... what a fearsome will to win... I guess, it's to be expected... he want to be the strongest, anyway... I except no less from such a fierce Digimon," Canisdramon commented with a laugh. "He got me good! I think I won't pull the usual 'let's take this as draw'!"
"Finally understood that you also have to take loss?" Yuuki commented, teasing his partner and strokes his mane slightly.
"Che...!" The wolf Digimon spitted. "If he gave me lame fight, I'd stop it before I got tired anyway. Obviously now that I'm lying in such pathetic state with muscle cramps like this, it was a really adrenaline pumping fight. It was a good game... I'd shook your hand right here and now, but all my legs are sore... you have to excuse me."
"I guess I'll do," the teenager interjected. He walked forward to the other tamer and his Digimon, then bowed politely like it's an official martial arts fight. "Thanks for the fight, you two. It was good for improvement. I'm sure with this, we can be at least a little bit stronger than before."

Sangloupmon and Tatsuya both looked up as Canisdramon said that he expected no less from a Digimon that wanted to be the strongest. They had put up a fierce battle, and the outcome, even though surprising for them, was that they had been the victors. As Tatsuya realized of what he had just heard, he grabbed Sangloupmon's fur, petting it while smiling. -We won, Sangloupmon! You won! -he said, happily. Meanwhile, the wolf-like digimon stood quiet. -"Have... have I really won...?" -the Digimon could only ask himself, in disbelief. So far, he had only known defeat... was that really true? Had he finally become stronger?
As Yuuki came to congratulate them, after talking to his partner about the fight, he bowed as if it was a martial arts match. -Thanks for the fight, you two. It was good for improvement. I'm sure with this, we can be at least a little bit stronger than before -he said. Tatsuya, however, didn't like that. -Yuuki... don't bow. Here -the eighteen year old paused, and extended his arms towards the younger male.
-We've also learned a lot from this fight. So I must say... thank you -the teen said, awaiting for the other one to shake his hand, this gesture symbolizing that they were equal. As he could, Sangloupmon limped towards Canisdramon. -Great... fight... You are very strong... -he said, his voice tone revealing that he respected Canisdramon.

Surprised at the sudden gesture to shook hand, yet somehow happy that the guy seem want to be friends with him and his partner, Yuuki shook Tatsuya's hand firmly. A small smile etched on his youthful face, although it's not a smile of just happiness... It's a brave smile of someone who refuse to lose for the second time.
"Alright, you might win this time, and it's our loss... But I won't let you win the next fight just like that, just see!"
"Now you're talkin', partner!" Canisdramon cheered, laughing happily. "It's great and all to be able to cross blades, evenmoreso with friends, right?" But, his laugh cut short as the other Digimon approached him. Despite it being his loss, the other Digimon still praised him nonetheless. Canisdramon grinned ear to ear.
"Aw, shucks. You're going to make me blush," he commented, although obviously there's no blush or anything remotely similar on him. Most likely he's just joking around. "You're not half baked, either. You're still dough, but you got a great potential to be anything that you wanted. There are stuffs where I would've lost even more if only you paid more attention to your surrounding... that's just my tip as someone who fight using tricks rather than pure muscles. Now, that have decided... looks like Yuuki would like us to be some of friendly rival... what says y'all, fella?"

Tatsuya cracked a smile as Yuuki shook his hand, thus the two of them becoming friends at that time. As he shook it, the other teen smiled, but it was full of resolution. -Alright, you might win this time, and it's our loss... But I won't let you win the next fight just like that, just see! -Canisdramon's Tamer said, just as Tatsuya smiled in the same way. -We will win, you'll see! -he said, half-smiling.
It also seemed that both Canisdramon and Sangloupmon were talking to each other in the same way, the former saying that, should the lupine Digimon have payed more attention to the surroundings, he would've won the fight earlier. The fanged Digimon grinned, revealing his powerful teeth. -I still have to become much stronger. Also... you shouldn't just rely on your speed, because if the opponent can react fast enough, your strategy is flawed -he also gave his piece of advice to the canine digimon. As Yuuki's partner said that his Tamer wanted to become not only their friends, but also their rival, Tatsuya smiled, looking at the other teen with resolution.
-Yeah! But I'll assure you... we will win next time! -he said, popping out his D-Terminal and scrolling through the menu. With two pushes of a button, he got into the contacts list and selected an empty spot. -Still... we should really be in contact with each other. Here, this is my ID -the Tamer said, as he gave the number to Yuuki, awaiting for the other one to give his as well.
He definately wanted to keep in touch with the teenager. Afterwards, he called Sangloupmon, who limped at his position, still damaged. Using his D-3, Tatsuya stored the Digimental once more, a dark flash coming out from the lupine monster's body, as it decreased in size, until he became Dorimon, Dorumon's In-Training form. That way, his Tamer could actually carry him.
Picking him up, Tatsuya smiled and put it between his arms. -You've earned the rest. I'll walk, don't worry -he said, his partner nodding before relaxing a little. Waving goodbye to their new friends, the duo went back to Terminus, thinking that, perhaps, it was time to take another Trailmon and return home for the time being... or maybe not?

The younger teen smiled wider as the older one seem to mutually want to be his rival. Neither of them wanted to lose, and actually, Yuuki appreciated that. He doesn't want to be taken lightly of. He's happy that black haired eighteen years old took him seriously instead of probably treat him like a little kid.
"Mmm, true," Canisdramon agreed to the other wolf's advice. "But see, I'm new at this, so let's just see how far will this take me to. I might invent something new, maybe not, who knows. Still, you better wait for our next fight... I'll definitely surprise you with new stuffs!"
To the teen's request about the ID, Yuuki copied the moves and found out how to do it. So... it's some sort of PDA? Or something similar like that? Well, whatever it is, now he know how to exchange address and mails! This is great enough. The older teen returned first, but Yuuki walked to Canisdramon.
"So, what do you think?" Yuuki asked as the Digimental shot back to his D-Terminal in blinding silverish light trail. Instead of Dorumon, Canisdramon devolved to Dodomon, who looking at Yuuki with confused expression.
"I don't get it? What do you mean what do you think?"
"I'm talking about your wound from back then... is it fine now?"
"Ahhh... no worries... it's my handicap because this place got no covering anyway... he won it fair and square, if that what you mean?"
"No... geez, Dodomon, you're hopeless... but at least we can go home, now!"
