"It's alright Poseidon. I know you were not trying to frighten me. I'll have to train hard if I'm going to get stronger. You're right about that. I just need to find some sort of way to train, not sure how. I too wonder what I'll look like in my higher forms, and yeah, who knows what I'll look like. I assume you already know what you'll look like Poseidon?" He would ask before he turned his attention to Alucard, listening to him. It turned out they traveled to the human world to learn and that they had these holosuit's that they could use to explore the human world without causing trouble.
"These Holosuits of yours sound very useful. I'm glad there's a way for you two to safely get around the human world. You should take Poseidon to Library sometime if you have not already. It's a great place to learn about my world." The sound of Alucard offering him more food made his ears perk up again. "Really? That would be great! Thank's Alucard! You're a better cook then you think, trust me." If he was able to, Akio would grab another meat apple and he would begin eating it.

"Maybe you can train with more experienced spirit wielders or other friendly digimon so you can learn different ways of fighting and how to control your powers as well." Poseidon suggested as his ears perked up once again. When Akio mentioned that Poseidon knew what he looked like at higher levels the young Gomamon smiled and said "I sure do as I have digivolved as far as the mega level. Remember when we said not all digimon of the same species are the same? Well I am different from most Gomamon in another way." Poseidon then reached up touching the holy ring around his neck as he then said "See this gold ring I wear around my neck. It is imbued with holy power just like the holy ring my father wears around his wrist. See unlike other Gomamon this form and my evolutionary line has been able to tap into holy power which is a trait most Gomamon are not known for."
Alucard handed some more meat apples towards Akio and said "Here you go my young friend. After all you may be almost an adult human but you are still growing. From what I've learned you humans tend to grow till you reach your early twenties. As for my cooking thank you for complimenting it. However, as you explore the Digital World you may find it fascinating that some restaurants can be found in this world in towns or even on the outskirts of them. Just so you know you won't have to always forage for food or pack food for your journey."

"That seems like a good idea. It might be a bit difficult to find more experienced Spirit users. I won't be able to tell their spirit users unless they have a D-Tector. Friendly Digimon might be my best bet, I would just need to find other friendly Digimon you guys." He would then listen to Poseidon as he continue to talk. The Herissmon would tilt his head in confusion. He Digievolved as far as the mega leveled? But wasn't he currently a Rookie? "Aren't you a Rookie? If you Digievolved to the mega level. Would'nt you be stuck looking that way? Oh, you said this gold ring is imbued with holy energy right, making you a special Gomamon. Is that why You're still a rookie despite having went into the mega stage?"
Akio would begin eating another meat apple when Alucard handed him more. He really did think these were pretty good. He did'nt want to eat them all. He thought he should save some for later after he ate this one, and maybe one more if they were any left. Hearing Alucard call him a friend made him happy. Back at his home earlier, he was thinking about how he had to leave most of his friends. But now here he was, making friends with Digimon. "Yeah, we humans tend to grow for a quite a while, and I'm only 17 right now. I'll have to try out some food this world has to offer if i get the chance to.
The Herissmon would then proceed to do something neither of them probobly would of expected. Well first, Akio would down his meat apple, then he would stand up, walk over to the Angemon and he would attempt to hug his leg. If he was able to, he would stand there, hugging the Digimon's leg as he spoke. "Thank you, for calling me a friend. I've been feeling like I'm alone as of late. I had to move away from almost all of my friends back in the human world, but now I met you two, and I don't feel alone anymore. I have more friends."

"Yeah, I can see how it might be difficult to find other spirit wielders." Poseidon chuckled before he continued "I mean after all it's not like they are walking around with neon signs over their heads or wearing name tags that label them as spirit wielders."
Then when Akio asked if Poseidon digivolved wouldn't he be stuck that way, Poseidon shook his head and said "Not necessarily, Akio. See not all digimon stay permanently at higher stages after they digivolve to them for the first time. Many digimon actually prefer staying at lower forms to save on energy. I'm sure you can imagine how let's say a mega would give off more energy than let's say a rookie or champion. Even Dad can digivolve to mega as well but as you can see prefers his champion form."
"Digimon tend to take a very long time to grow and mature to the point where they are fully digivolved typically taking only a short time to go from fresh to rookie. The higher stages tend to take much longer though but there are circumstances that allow digimon to sometimes reach those higher stages much faster." Alucard explained before continuing "Perhaps the reason is likely due to average digimon lifespans being much longer than humans but I'm not even completely sure myself."
When Akio went over and hugged Alucard's leg the vampire hunter was a bit surprised but then he grinned slightly and said "I may come off as an aloof loner but even I have a few friends. I am glad that Poseidon has found someone he has been able to connect with besides myself."

Akio would chuckle in response. "Yeah, I guess I just need to get lucky and run into one." If he saw someone that had a D-Tector like he had, chances are, they were a spirit user, but if they did not they could be a normal person. He would have to be careful in that regard. Akio would listen to Poseidon speak more about Digievolution. It turns out Digimon can actually choose which form to stay in which he did not expect/ He thought Digimon would have to stay into their Rookie form once they Digievolved, but the fact that they can choose which form is their default was actually kind of cool, and intriguing.
"I think I understand, makes sense as to why you are not in your mega form. I assume you prefer you're rookie form then?" He would say before turning his attention back to Poseidon. "Right, that makes sense. How long do Digimon live? I did'nt know you guys live longer than us." Once Akio hugged Alucard, he would look up at him and nod. He was glad he's found more people to connect with himself. Speaking of the Gomamon, he did'nt want to leave him hanging. He would walk over to him before hugging him as well. "Thanks for becoming my friend Poseidon, it means a lot."

Poseidon chuckled again before he said "Spirit wielders aren't the only types of humans that visit the Digital World. There are two types of humans that team up with digimon. One is known as a Tamer and Tamer's team up with one digimon or a set of twins. As for the other type of human they are called Xros Generals. Xros Generals command an army of digimon which form various fusions of various strengths and the larger the army the more power the potential fusion they can make. That or they can generate potential multiple champion level ones for example."
"Yes, a human's bond with digimon can be intriguing to witness." Alucard said. Then when Akio asked how long digimon can live Alucard answered "Hmm. It's hard to say how long a digimon can live seeing as some live a lot longer than others due to being wiped out by other digimon. However, I've heard that ancient digimon can be centuries old. I am not all that old by comparison being the equivalent of what you humans would call a young adult."
When Akio hugged Poseidon the young Gomamon reached up with his clawed flipper and carefully wrapped it around the young spirit wielder in digimon form being extra careful of the Herissmon quills on Akio's back. "Your welcome, Akio."

"I see, so their are people that partner up with Digimon, that's kind of cool. Maybe I can train with them if I see someone partnered with a rookie or higher. Though, these Xros generals seem interesting too, since they team up with multiple Digimon who fuse." Akio would listen to Alucard. Seemed like the life span of a Digimon varied, and that Alucard wasn't that old either. Since he was a young adult, he assumed Alucard was maybe around his age. Though it was hard to say for sure. He would nod before Poseidon soon hugged him.
After the hug, he would look up at Alucard with a smile. "If its alright with you, can I take a few of the meat apples I did'nt eat with me when I eventually leave? Though if you want them, thats fine too. Also, should we try to figure out how to change me back to a human soon?"

"Good thing Tamers and Xros Generals are usually easy to spot since if in the Digital World you would likely see at least one digimon with them. Oh, and one more thing about Xros Generals is that most of their partners will be at the rookie level but even then, some of those rookies might be fairly large digimon." Poseidon said after releasing Akio from the hug he had him in. "Whew. Those quills of yours are tricky to work around when it comes to hugs. I'd hate to be a potential enemy who sneaks up on you and get potentially a face full of quills." Poseidon said with a giggle.
"Some digimon do have interesting natural defenses, Poseidon, which is why I have trained you to always be careful of your surroundings." Alucard said to his son in a gentle but stern tone.
"I know, Dad. At least you know I try my best." Poseidon said and Alucard nodded.
Then when Akio asked if he could take some of the meat apples with him Alucard nodded as he said "Of course you can, Akio. Poseidon and I can always look for more food when necessary since we are accustomed to the ways of this world. As for trying to turn you back into a human we can give it a shot when you are ready."

"I'll keep that in mind then." Akio would say in response before he heard the Gomamon comment on his quills. He forgot about them, he could hardly tell they were there. "Well, good thing you're my friend and not an enemy. Just be careful around them, I don't want you to get hurt." He would watch the two Digimon interact, smiling before Alucard spoke to him again. "Thanks! I'll make sure they don't go to waste!" Akio said, speaking cheerfully. He was glad he got to keep the apples. he thought they were pretty good.
After a couple of more minuets, he thought it was about time to try to change back. He did like this form, and thought it was cool he could become a different creature. He knew he had to change back to human eventually. "Alright, I think I'm ready to try to change back to human now. Shall we give it a shot?"

"No problem. I'll be careful around your quills and as for the meat apples at least you'll have enough for maybe a few days of food if rationed right." Poseidon said in a cheerful tone mimicking the tone Akio was using.
A couple minutes went by, and Akio indicated he was ready to try returning back into a human. Poseidon tapped his chin in thought wondering how humans did this. Was this like an ordinary dedigivolution all digimon of in training or above could do or was there more involved? "Hey, Dad." Poseidon said causing Alucard to look his way before the young vampire hunter in training then said "Just how does a human dedigivolve anyway? Do you have any idea?"
Alucard sat quietly for a moment before he said "Perhaps it might be easier than we think. Maybe our young friend here just has to concentrate his power and will himself to dedigivolve. It works that way for the two of us Poseidon." Alucard said before he looked at Akio and then asked, "Would you like to give that approach a try, Akio?"

They were being very generous with the amount of food that they were giving him. He really appreciated it. He wondered how he was suppoused to turn back to human. He stood there for a few moments, until Alucard suggested that he should try concentrating his power, and will himself to revert forms. If it works for them maybe it will work for him too. It was worth a shot. "Yeah, I can try it." He would close his eyes and do as they described. He would begin to concentrate and do his best to turn back. After a few moments, nothing happened. However, he kept trying for a few more moments before he was soon wrapped up in code again.
When it faded. Akio was human again. His D-Tector was back in his hand and he would open his yes, noticing it worked. "Yeah, it worked! It took a moment but I guess thats the way to do it."

It looked as if Akio was willing to try what Alucard suggested and Alucard and Poseidon watched as the teen closed his eyes trying to concentrate on focusing his power. At first nothing was seeming to happen but when Alucard and Poseidon thought they would have to suggest another approach code started to wrap around him until he was fully wrapped up in said code. At least it wasn't as bright as when Akio digivolved the first time so Alucard and Poseidon didn't shield their eyes.
When the light faded Akio was no longer a Herissmon but a human again. Poseidon's eyes lit up as he made his way over to the teen and wrapped his clawed flippers around one of Akio's legs in a hug as he said "Yay! You did it. I was worried it wasn't working for a moment."
As Poseidon released his grip on Akio, Alucard said "Now over time you have to learn how to control your digivolution. It isn't likely to always work accidentally."

He was glad it worked. The teen was worried for a second that it wasn't working at all. When the Gomamon went to go hug his leg, Akio would bend down and give him a gentle pat on the head. "Thanks Poseidon, I was starting to get worried it wouldn't work either. He would then look back at Alucard, It was nice that he no longer had to look up to look at him. Though, the change in perspective was kind of cool "Mhm, I'll figure how to control it in due time. I plan on practicing's that, along with some battling when I find an opertunity. I do find this world interesting, so I plan on coming here often to explore.
Akio was glad this all worked out well in the end. Now, he needed to practice Digievolving into Herissmon, his fighting ability's, and so on. He was in no rush though.

Poseidon's tail swished back and forth a bit when Akio gave him a pat on the head. Normally only Alucard could get away with doing that and Alucard was surprised his son didn't seem to mind having another person pat him on the head. "Don't worry, Akio. I'm sure even if you didn't dedigivolve on the first try that we would have figured something out to get you back to your human form." Poseidon said in a peppy tone as it seemed Akio's energetic nature was infectious. Or at least outwardly infectious with Poseidon anyway because if it had affected Alucard's mood the eight-foot-tall angel was sitting there not actively showing it. Poseidon shook his head as he at times found his father hard to read and he'd been with him for a while.
"So, Akio. What are you planning on doing next?" Alucard asked as he twitched his beautiful shining wings before they fell asleep. Looking at his staff which was laying on the ground next to him he picked it up and it detracted to a smaller form before the angel set it against his hip again.

"Yeah, you're right. I'm glad we were able to do it on the first try, even if it took a while, guess we got lucky!" He would then chuckle as he patted Poseidon for a few moment, noticing that he seemed to have enjoyed it. The teen was happy to see Poseidon in high spirits. Perhaps it was due to Akio's cheerful and happy nature. It seemed to be infectious. He was glad to have met Poseidon, who became his Digimon friend who helped lift his spirits when he was feeling down, along with being a good friend overall. He was happy he met Alucard too of course.
"I guess, I'll start making my way toward a Trailmon station. I'm not in a rush though, so I'll probobly end up exploring while I'm on my way to the station." That seemed like a good idea. He thought he might as well do some exploring while he's here.
