Ominous Premonition - Endless Loop [Tats, Mana, Ankh]

Tatsuya laughed as he saw Yuuki's reaction to his comment about girls, although then his friend's Dorumon told him to be more careful since Mana was there. Tatsuya winked an eye, amused by them wanted to protect Mana's innocence. -Kay, kay, don't need to be so stiff, Lightie and Yuuki. Relax a little! I mean, Yuuki, you're fifteen already... -the teen said, his attention was then caught by Ayaka's sudden "awakening" and display of grattitude towards his partner.

-Ah, um, sorry for entering my metabolizing phase like that. Today was a really cloudy day and I wanted to end it as fast as possible. It was just too... frustrating. Anyway, did I miss something? -she asked, taking another sip from the bottle Dorumon had given her earlier. As the plant-like Digimon turned to "Notfoxysan", as Mana called him, she smiled in the same way as before. -You were really kind, Dorumon-san. Sorry for not thanking you properly back then -the Kodamon said, looking at Dorumon.

Tatsuya looked at his partner, amused by how quickly he looked away, trying to keep his usual pricky, cold attitude. Was he... flustered? He couldn't tell, although he really was. A second after, he managed to pull off a sentence or two. -I-I said it was nothing... Also, "Dorumon-san"? No Uncouthmon or Trogloditemon this time...? Ayaka, y-you're scaring me, you know... -Dorumon said, although not in a mean way, but in a rather surprised one. -"Geez, what's up with her? She's acting very wierd today for sure..."

Luckily for him, Ankh began his attempt of hitting on the Jungle Trooper Digimon that was Mana's partner. He had the typical tsundere attitude, which suited him, that was for sure. Still, he was eager to see how Ayaka would react to that sudden confession, since she had been in a semi-conscious state until that time.

-Heh. Looks like you got yourself an admirator, Ayaka -he playfully joked, as his Dorumon looked at the scene without much interest, his thoughts fixed on why would she act so different that time.

"I know, right?" Ankh responded to Yuuki's Dorumon's comment.

Ayaka accepted his so-called apology, despite trying to make it half-hearted. Though, he was really meant it. He just wanted to look tough in front of the others, that's all. His craving with power, and the conviction, made him as harsh as he was today. However, he still wanted a piece of love, something he lost after his adoptive family were killed.

Ankh then noticed Ayaka acted a bit... nicer. Despite being a prissy lady, she still had noblewoman politeness after all. It made the ultimate interested on the plant chick even more, the mysteriousness she seemingly had.
"Not a big deal. The way you just told what you've done there, it reminds me to myself." Ankh said.

Ankh's blushes became redder as he heard the brown-haired boy joked on Ayaka getting an admirer, who was in fact, the birdman himself. He was very, very embarrassed. And cue awkwardness.
"Just... YGG-DAMN! I-I'm not that flower princess' admirer, got that?! I-if you're still talking about that I... I-I'll burn you into cinders!" Ankh frantically shouted at the boy, threatening to burn him.

Dorumon was about to let all that thing with Ayaka drop, still believing that it was a side effect coming from the night's effect on her, which was proven by her short speeches. However, he'd soon begin to feel much more stranged when the plant-like Digimon looked at him with a serious look and a blush on her face. Before he could even ask what had he done wrong already, the Kodamon surprised him with a huge paragraph describing the argument that had happened since they had met.

-Well, about that, I... Ah-I am sorry, Dorumon-san. That argument was my entire fault. That day in the park was really cloudy and I felt so frustrated, and that was added to the fact that a NegaLynxmon almost killed miss Mana just hours before and I was pretty exhausted from the fight and then Tatsuya-san tried to pet and I, well, I think I was so stressed that I overreacted at your partner's gesture and lashed out verbally at you without truly knowing you, ah-and I really want to apologize for that. I was... quite arrogant and... vain back there. I behaved so like a stuck-up... ah-uh... well... oh darn, scr*w it. I behaved like a stuck-up b*tch instead of being a true lady, and if I am honest with myself, even if you lashed back, I kind of deserved it... Because of the particularly bad weather that has been affecting Shibuya as of late, I am starting to feel feel this sudden temperament flares that I cannot contain every now and then, and then I feel so bad about them, and you... you were the first one I lashed out at. I cannot blame you, though, as I am just some kind of biolar psycho that is... condemned to lash again at you really soon if we keep seing each other this frequently, and most likely when it happens, I will use that condescendence and false superiority in my tone that I hate so much yet again. I wanted to say that that is not the true me, it is not even close... Bu-but if that is the price for being at miss Mana's side, I will pay it gladly.

Tatsuya looked at her with his eyes widening, still not believing what he had just heard. Ayaka, apologizing to Dorumon, even though they probably thought of each other as a complete annoyance when it came to interacting with each other? The same Ayaka that had mocked his partner for his lack of manners and seemingly low understanding of the world and society? The extemely polite, lady-like mannered Digimon had just told Dorumon that everything up until that time was (mostly) her fault? He could've sworn he was dreaming if he wouldn't have ligthened a fire a few seconds ago.

It seemed that his reaction was shared entirely by his partner, who was gawking at the Kodamon, completely confused. He expected her lashing back, telling him something, but... definately, not a sincere apology... and he knew she was sincere, otherwise she wouldn't have used the word b*tch to describe her previous attitude towards him. Thinking that something had to be happening to her in order to behave like that, he stood again, pressed his paw to his "forehead" (or rather, the part of his head between his snout and the crystal) and then put it on the Kodamon's mask.

-Wait, wait. Are you sure you are not ill or something? A fever? An attack that might have hurt you in a fight without us knowing? Because you're scaring me, ya know! -he asked, retiring his paw from her leaf mask. Unused to that way that she had of speaking by heart and not feeling at ease since he didn't know what to do, he attempted to scoop backwards.

Tatsuya then shot him a look that spoke for itself. -"Oh, Dorumon, don't be a dork and say something to her!" -the words were written in the human male's eyes, though only his partner would be able to discern its meaning. After all, they had known each other for long enough to be able to partially communicate that way. Thus, he undid his action and moved to his previous spot next to Mana's partner.

-Y-You don't have to apologize. It's fine. We had had a rough time ourselves back at the Digital World as well, forced to kill children and a Champion that were infected by a virus that turned berserk... So... don't worry about it -the Dorumon finally stated, looking away in embarrassment. He couldn't believe he had actually done that? Were was the cold attitude that served as his main trait? Was he really turning softer?

When Ankh mentioned he would burn Tatsuya to cinders if he kept his teasing, the teen just half-smiled and rose his hand in a conciliative way. -Okay, okay, I'll drop it there, man -he promised.

Luckily for him, the conversation was then brought to an abrupt end by Yuuki being unable to digivolve his partner at all. When the younger teen asked both him and Mana if they could turn their partners into a higher level, Tatsuya gave it a try, pulling out his black D-3 and pointing it at Dorumon. After a few flashes of light, BlackGrowlmon stood there, looking at the humans from his new point of view.

-I think this spoke by itself... what 'bout ya, Mana? Can Ayaka digivolve too now? -the teen asked, stranged.

Ankh perplexed as he rested his body at the grass bed. He couldn't do anything to get into the Village of Beginnings right now, so all he do he could was rest. It could be also the mean to wait until whoever made the mess went out. If that guy appeared, he would burn it into ashes. Oh, and an idea.

It was Yuuki who suggested Foxy to use the fake sun in his Armor form, but something weird happened. Despite the boy attempted to summon a Digimental, the Digivolution didn't happen. And the same thing applied when the Dorumon tried to Digivolve with normal means. Just what happened to him? Could it be...

"Looks like this place had done something to him. Just be careful. I've got bad feeling of this."

Ankh stood up and looked around his surroundings. He needed to be careful to the very least, as most likely this place held something... scary.

So, Ayaka was still trying to apologize to him in any way she could... that made Dorumon realize that, indeed, there was no mind games being played right there, and the Kodamon just wanted to tell something to him that could be summarized from that long, winded speech: "I'm sorry". Knowing that it would be hopeless to try to tell her that an apology wasn't needed at all, the fox-like Digimon just cracked a small, yet honest smile as he closed his eyes, sighed, and looked at her.

-Alright, then. No need to keep that up, Ayaka: if it makes you feel better... apologies accepted. -he finally said, opening his eyes again and looking at Mana's partner. It was then when Tatsuya asked him if he could digivolve, and as always, he turned into his Champion form without anything wrong happening. Looking at Tatsuya with a stranged gaze, he nodded, signalizing that everything was as usual.

It also seemed that Mana could make Ayaka evolve as well... and Ankh had already turned into his Ultimate form, making him doubt. What the heck was going on there? It was then when he heard something strange... -When the light engulfed by the darkness, you can't help but to feel like you lost something important... -a voice then resonated in their heads. Tatsuya stood up with a jump, a maneuver he had learned while practicing karate, and looked at their surroundings, nothing to be found there.

-Who's there!? Show yourself!! -the teen yelled, hoping to get an answer to his question. After a few seconds, it resonated again. -As long as you have the light, you'll struggle to keep it alive in the dark, cold night... -following those words, the temperature suddenly dropped, and their vision radius cut short, for they could only see five metres ahead of them. Tatsuya felt a shiver, and breathed. A whiff followed his breath, which meant it had gotten cold for real.

BlackGrowlmon and him backed off, shortening their distances with the rest of the group. It would be better to stay together, at least until they knew what was going on. Again, the same cryptic voice kept saying philosophical nonsense. -Those who traversed in darkness might feel secure from the glaring light that shines upon them at the day... but then, at the end of the day, darkness is such a scary thing... -it muttered. BlackGrolwmon then spoke.

-You're wrong! Darkness and light... one can't exist without the other! There's nothing to be afraid of! -he roared, but that speech wasn't over. -In great uncertainty, doubt is your friend... Cast aside that needless faith. Do not lie, you still trust no one. However, if you still insist on clinging on that faith... choose the form of your 'light', your partner's form and press ahead... Come, prove the strength of that faith. This shall be your test if you're really the 'Bearer of Faith' -the voice finally became silent once more, just as a dark vortex swirled around them.

Tatsuya groaned, and looked at BlackGrowlmon. -If that's what you want... Let's do it! We're not afraid of the darkness! -he said, his Crest of Determination shining bright on his chest. His D-3 then scrolled through a string of two words.
"SUPER EVOLUTION"

A flash of light shot upwards, flying until it was over BlackGrowlmon, who was envelopped by the same glow, and afterwards fell on the Digimon, bathing it's body. -BlackGrowlmon... CHO SHINKA!!

He then extended his left arm forward, which transformed into the mechanized Trident Arm. -Metal... -afterwards, his skin started changing it's hue, from the tail to the rest of its body, turning into a vivid orange with blue stripes. His head was covered by a Chrome Digizoid helmet, with the hair turning dark red. -...Greymon... X! -finally, two rockets were formed on his back, with eight electrical-blue coloured energy wings emerging as well.

As the light faded, the Ultimate roared, decided to use all of his power to surpass that "trial" that was ahead of them.

Suddenly, as Ankh suspected the eerie voice of some sort echoed in his head. The voice of darkness, and evil. Ankh just scoffed at this, considering it was no more than a nonsense. The birdman then saw the other Digimons Digivolved into their strongest level. Ankh was already in his ultimate form, so he didn't have to Digivolve further, as he hadn't yet to access his Mega form.

(Cue BGM: Never Surrender)

"So, you're the one who caused this mess, huh?" Ankh asked the swirling darkness. "Honestly, I don't care about this light and darkness crap, but that little brat's right. Light and Darkness always exist between each other. So, once I gain the greater power, I'll rule over even both light and darkness! If you're so fond of darkness, let me see if your power of darkness is worth your blabbering before I take the power of light! AND YOURS!"

Ankh then flapped his wings before the flame emanated from them, and he created the flaming hurricane he had used to try to burn the forest. The hurricane was bigger, and bigger.
"Taste my true power! FIRE HURRICANE!!!" Ankh shouted as he blew the flaming hurricane to the swirling vortex of darkness' center.

"I won't lose... I won't lose to everyone... Before I can defeat her... Because I believe in myself, that I can be stronger! That I can defeat, RYOKO SATSUMA!!!" Ankh yelled as he blew more fire hurricanes at the vortex.
