Both Tatsuya and Nanami seemed to be receptive to Antion and Henrique's presence. Tatsuya explained quickly she called his girlfriend "babe" to Henrique.
"An affe...affequ...affequate way to dwess her? But Nanami have clothes awedy!" Henrique exclaimed, confused. At that point, Dorimon awoke from his slumber and jumped on the table, greeting and inviting Henrique to eat with them. Henrique was happy to see his friend "Yay! Dowimon! Pway!" Henrique jumped of Antonio's grasp and fell on the table. "Au!" he cried out in pain.
As Nanami reentroduced herself to improve the impressions, Antonio did so as well.
"I'm Antonio Álvares. That guy I just chased here is my partner, Henrique." Antonio introduced. "I guess it's stteled then, we'll come here and eat with you, just let me get what is left of the food on our table and tell the owner that it is free. If you could watch over Henrique while I do that, I'd be gratefull."
Antonio left, cloing the red curtins behind him, as Tatsuya held back and claimed to have no secrets from Nanami.
"Wow! You bwave, Tatuya!" Henrique stated "You even tell Nanami about Hypnomon and his pwanks? Antonio went pee-pee in bwed two twimes!" |

Well, the intelligence is similar to some toddler, that's for sure, but that amuses Nanami. She giggled when he told him about her being dressed. "Addressing means similar to 'calling'. See, like this, I addressed him as 'Tats', so it's like calling him with a certain name, see? It's just his little nickname for me, I guess, although it's really cheesy," Nanami grinned to her boyfriend, playfully knocking his chest.
However, it's apparent that Tatsuya won't drop the innuendo so Nanami took the laminated menu and smack his head playfully with it. "Dear, no fun is no fun, but if this guy is a minor, I'll so scold you all night long," she threatened, but it's obvious that she's also having her share of fun.
"Wait wait, what is this stuff about Hypnomon or something? Hypnotism?"
"Apparently Nanami has quick grip on this," Agitatomon commented.
"This sounds like something juicy... Tats, spill it."

When Nanami poked his chest after explaining Henrique what nicknames were, Tatsuya affectionately looked at his girlfriend with his deep indigo eyes. -Cheesy? I don't think calling me Tats is cheesy... What do you think, Antonio? I also call her Nami, just so you know -he explained, asking his friend for opinion. When the girl smacked his head with the menu, telling him that Antonio was a minor, he shrugged.
-You are a minor too, babe. I'm eighteen, so I'm the "responsible adult"... yeah, I can't say it without wanting to laugh -he jokingly stated, happy that everything had turned alright between Nanami and Antonio. It seemed that the previously cold atmosphere had become much less tense, something he was glad to notice.
It quickly was his turn to narrate the adventures with Hypnomon. Knowing that they were talking about the prank, and not caring the least bit about it being funny for anyone to hear, he just shrugged and told Nami what she wanted to know with a small grin on his face. Leaning back on his seat, the teen looked at the ceiling, trying to remember even the smallest of the details.
-Well, one day we took a break from our fighting and went to a circus in Whitewater city... -he then began telling Nanami the whole story about Hypnomon's show, the Digimon kidnapping him while leaving them in a trance and how he had managed to trick one of the captors in order to earn the captive Digimon's and their own freedom, for they had gotten captured as well. Then, he ended up talking about the prank it had pulled on them.
-He told me that, should I get in a discussion with my partner, he'd make me talk with a girly voice, or to bark at him, and to avoid this, I should give him a picture of me wearing a skirt, and then, he hid it, so we broke the "curse" in the end. That's pretty much it in a nutshell -he said, laughing and remembering the time when he had to take the photo.

"Oooooooh" Henrique said, as they expained nicknames to him. He gigled, amused by his own mistake.
Tatsuya asked António`s opinion on the matter of nicknames.
"Well, if I recall well, Henrique`s books always have some quite cheesy dialogue, when they have character`s in love. So, I assume they is some kind of "gentleman" feel to being cheesy. So, back in Europe, two people being cheesy is a sign of love, rather than simple lust..." António explained, trying to hard to remembre what Henrique. He was enjoying having Henrique like this. He complained a lot less in in-training.
As Tatsuya told the story of Hypnomon`s prank to Nanami, Henrique tried to hide beneath the plates, embarassed about having been hypnotized and what he did while hypnotized. When Tatsuya finished, Henrique popped out, determined to change the subject.
"So Awitatomon...you and Dowimon fwiends too? Can I pway with you too?" Henrique asked, boy was he energetic that night.

"Nah, but calling me babe and calling you dear or love is cheesy," she pointed out, grinning slightly. However, at the responsible adult comment, Nanami tried to stifle her laugh, yet somehow she can't and burst out laughing. She took the menu again and bops it on his head playfully. "Darling, please. We both know that I am the one who's being responsible here, minus the adult part. As for you, love, you're just a big lug of an adorable dork who is neither responsible OR an adult, at least mentally. Face it. Also, shooting innuendos at your minor girlfriend, could that be counted as sexual harrassment against a minor, Tats? Tsktsktsk, here I thought you're a gentleman?" she joked.
As she listened to her boyfriend story's attentively, there was time she laughed in disbelief or pure amusement. The blue haired girl is having a lot of fun, hearing the talk, but most of all, she laughed the hardest when she heard Tatsuya have to wear a skirt.
"Sounds really tempting. Alright, if I got angry, I'll just have to order you to wear skirt while I wear the pants. Sounds good right? Also, I want that photo," she declared as she extended her hand at him, like asking for it right here and now.
"Ah, about friends or not with Tatsuya's partner... apparently, Dorimon dislikes me... nor I can play for that matter, as I'm still way too weak currently... you have to excuse me," Agitatomon answered.

Oh, so she thought that him calling her babe was cheesy? He didn't know, but he still wasn't going to stop addressing her by that nickname. As she burst in laughter when he tried to say he was a responsible adult (though he laughed as well), he looked at her with a serious, but ironic look. -Maybe you're right, Nami... but you know what? It's adults who never have fun... I can actually understand why you backed away from the teasing back home... You're so boring! -he playfully stated, referencing the time when he had gone to the dressing room with her and in the last second, she told him that it was enough.
Soon after, the conversation shifted to Hypnomon's story. The girl was amused by Tatsuya's story, laughing again. Tatsuya then smiled: he was happy that she was having fun. -Sounds really tempting. Alright, if I got angry, I'll just have to order you to wear skirt while I wear the pants. Sounds good right? Also, I want that photo -the girl mischievously told him, with him grinning as well. -Heh, sorry. We broke the curse a while ago, as I said. Also... since Dorimon thinks like a baby, it was very easy for me to guess that the picture was hidden under the bed. So... if you ever come to my place, Nami, I'd like to show it to you... -he said, dropping the sentence there before adding another mature innuendo.
-Oh, and I'll also let you take a look at that picture. It's very good, Dorumon managed to capture my femenine side in that photograph. Also, don't give me that "sexual harassment"... you know I'm just messing around with ya -he jokingly stated, while laughing. In the meantime, the purple furball was still with Henrique, when Agitatomon muttered something about Dorimon disliking her. Even if the purple furball didn't say anything, Tatsuya smiled to the Digimon.
-Nah, it's okay! He does it with everyone he meets... eventually he'll like you and Nanami, so don't worry. He's a nice guy... deep deep deep deep down. The rest is just pure, unadulterated prickness -the eighteen year old smile, with Dorimon jumping towards him. -CHESTO!!!! -he growled, impacting in the teen's chest.

Everyone at the table laugthed a bit from the tale of hypnomon. As Tatsuya offered Nanami a look at the photo, Henrique grew excited about it.
"Can I see too? Pweeeeeaaaseeee!" Henrique begged Tatsuya, trying to imgaine how the boy looked with a skirt on. He gigled. Yet he was soon to leave that topic again as Agitatomon spoke, telling him that she couldn't play with him because Dorimon didn't like her. Tatsuya made on a comment on that and got hit by his own digimon for it. "Dowimon? He like evewyone! He have funny way to sow it. Like he did now with Tatuya. When we met, we fight too, but we become fwiedns swince then, wight Dowimon? Fwiends can fwight...I and Tonio fwight lot's of twimes! But in the end we solve pwobwem."
While all this was going on, Antonio had picked up the food from their table and talked to the restaurant owner. After helping the man get rid of the wild cat (which pleased both of them a lot), Antonio returned to the where the rest of the group was. Opening the curtains, he put down the pizzas he was carrying (or what was left of them) and quickly closed the curtains. Noticing how everyone seemed to be laughingand Dorimon was in Tatsuya's lap, Antonio gave them a confused look.
"So...What did I miss?" Antonio asked.
"Tonio!" Henrique hapily said, turning to his tamer with a wide smile. "Whewes my fwood?"
"The plate broke, remember? You can have some of mine. Or if you want, I'll give you a warm bottle when we get home, ok buddy?" Antonio proposed to his (at the moment) infantile partner.
"Yay! I wove my bottles!" Henrique responded. He turned back to Agitatomon and Dorimon. "So Awitatomon and Dowimon peat with I now?"
Antonio lifted his shoulders and looked at Tatsuya and Nanami. He had a feeling he knew now why everyone was laugthing.
"He didn't stay quiet about the Hypnomon thing did he? I'm sorry Tatsuya, I keep telling him to just let it go, but he...well...is a baby when he's like this. It's great to see him happy instead of complaining, but I wish I could control him a bit better." Antonio commented |

I'll force you to watch football with me all night... or even those crazy teen's favorite 'romantic movies', despite how much I loathed those. But you have lower tolerance than me on those, right?"
True enough, Nanami would shot several critics instead of watching, mostly at how the heroine acts or the hero acts... in the end, most likely it'll just be full of her snarking at the plot, the character, or both. Still, for her, it'll be a perfect time to pour all her hates to the drain. Somehow, Tatsuya invited her to his place... an apartment, she guessed. The bluenette whistled at that, readying the menu if he'd drop the innuendo there, but to her amusement, he stopped.
"Finally learning to be the 'responsible' part, Tats? Either way, I'm ready to come there anytime... Might drop by sometimes to cook you dinner or breakfast... or both. So just tell me where's the place later, and I'll definitely come. Just don't tell me to clean up your room, though... it'll be... amusing." Nanami put a certain tone in that which sounds like he'll regret it if he does.
Henrique began to talk about Dorimon, which made Nanami thinks perhaps the two really are best friends... No matter how much a prick Dorimon is, there's apparently still heart of gold in him.
Antonio returned after. Nanami waved slightly at the younger boy, seem to be fully relaxed.
"Nothing much other than me teasing this big lug over here," she replied after he asked what he'd missed. "..and him teasing me back... Honestly, one day I'll beat him in his game... Speaking of which, what with Henrique and warm bottles?"

Tatsuya smiled at Henrique's request of showing the picture to him as well, the In-Training giggling at the thought of him in a skirt, or that's what the teen thought anyway. Of course, he had no problems about that, in fact he thought it was a very funny memento of Hypnomon. -Yeah, why not? You're going to love it. If you thought I was handsome before, wait until you see the picture! -the teen joked as he laughed as well.
-Oooh, so you dare say this Nanami-sama is boring? Alright then... I'll show you what's boring. -OH, GOD, NO! Please, Nami, you know I can't stand how incredibly silly those films are... I mean, what's with their attitude?! It's completely unrealistic! And don't make me start with football as well! I can't watch even five minutes of it without falling asleep... If you loathe them too, then what's the point? Let's just do something that can be fun for both of us. Actually, I'm getting a very good idea about what we could do... -the young man's voice changed to his teasing tone as a grin drew on his face.
When his girlfriend told him that she'd come to his place if she told him where it was, he smirked. -Hmm... why don't you try and guess? You know I'm living alone, so it can't be any big manor like your Gramps's. It's very easy if you just give it a little thought. Also... who is teasing who here? -the boy challenged her, still smirking, with her finishing her sentence.
-Heh, you know I'm always teasing people, so don't expect it to be easy!

Outside, life in the restaurant continued. Plates forks, spoons, knifes, people eating and talking and arguing, waiters going here and there...the restaurant was filling up. António was glad he gave his table in time, he didn`t want anyone be out in the cold waiting for a table that wasn`t even being used.
"Yay, I get to see the pictuwe. I bet you look weally pwetty in it Tatuya!" Henrique stated, happy that Tatsuya has agreed to show him the picture too. He then began to chant as he skipped through the table, avoiding the food by inches "I get to see the pictuwe, I get to see the pictuwe, I get to see the pictwue...!"
António arrived soon after and was greeted ny Nanami with a comment on Tatsuya and his teasing and a question. António looked at Henrique`s happy expression, wishing it would never end, before giving out his opinion.
"So that`s what couples do, they tease each other?" António commented, rememebering how his parents would to tease each other playfully even in front of their kids, many times having to explain why they could tease people, but António and his brothers couldn`t. Good times, back in his homeland, now gone and replaced by this new home of theirs, Shuibuya, at least until he and Henrique could themselves properly. He found himself smiling at the memories before continuing "Well, I hope Henrique wasn`t any trouble while I was out. As for your question Nanami, I don`t think it would be such a good idea to talk about it. I have arledy stomped in your date, no use in ruining the night even further with a sad story. Tatsuya knows what I`m talking about."
Henrique looked up at António trying to figure the reason behind his sadness.
"What`s the mattew Tónio? You k? It`s k if you wanna tell hew about I." Henrique tried to confort António. His partner just looked down to him before sitting down with the rest of the people, silent. |

"Dear, maybe you should change that to 'beautiful', instead?" Nanami joked. "...Oh God, I'm so having the mental image like that that Fin** Fan**** VII scene where the main lead have to crossdress! Really... I'm imagining you have to go all those stuffs... oh dear me," the bluenette giggled at the mental image before fully broke in laughter. Honestly, she wondered if it'll be that awkward because Tats is actually a buff guy or Tats thought that's she's Tatsuko or something...
The girl grinned as her threat seem to be working. "Oh worry not, Tats... if you watch romantic movie with me, you won't end up barfing at the popcorn bucket.. you'll end up laughing because I'll be snarking the plot, the character, the story and everything else. I'm sure that you'll even join me in that fun... yeah, we won't be watching it silently, crying at the end or whatnots... we'll simply snark around," she joked. "Also, what do you mean by that, Tats?" she inquired, raising her eyebrow, although her eyes definitely saying 'if it's an innuendo, remember, I'll smack you above your head.'
At the words he said afterward, Nanami just laughed. "I'd love to come. Like I said before, maybe I'll cook breakfast and dinner... or both, dunno. Maybe I'll drop by before going to school... just give me the spare key, why don't you?"
When Antonio asked about what couples do, the older girl smiled apologetically at him. "Ah, well, it's not always like this, but I'm just the teasing type... and he's the stubborn, determined type."
...But all of that have to drop when Antonio apparently really sad about that subject about warm bottles...
"...Nevermind, forget that I asked."

Tatsuya smiled as Henrique started bouncing around the table, very happy that he could get to see the picture that Dorumon had taken him due to Hypnomon's prank. The young man felt good, since he had managed to make the Digimon happy with just telling him that, making him feel very nice as well. It was good to be able to cheer other people, despite him doing it unconsciously many times in his life.
-Hehe, you're gonna love it -he assured, petting the small Digimon... or he would've done that if it wasn't a porcupine-like In-Training. He decided not to touch it, but instead shot him a warm gaze. He knew that Henrique had suffered, so watching him bouncing around in such a cheerful way was great. Then, Antonio returned, and asked Tatsuya if that was what couples did, teasing each other.
-Well, there are many couples who just make me puke... seriously, man, it's so cheesy it hurts my guts! I like Nami a lot because with her, everything is much more fun, with any comment being a candidate for beggining our "teasing wars", ain't that right? -he smirked, looking at Nanami with a mischievous smile drawn on his face. The girl then returned his comment with the innuendo, telling him that, should it be one, she'd smack him on the head.
Tatsuya sighed, and began lowering his head slightly. -Then I guess you should hit me, 'cause it was very clear it was! -he laughed, planning on blocking the smack when it came... for it was sure to come! Afterwards, he'd return to the topic about her coming in his house sometimes.
-Heh, not a chance, Nami. It's my little sanctuary... also, what do you plan to do when I'm not around? Trying my Gi to remember those times at the dojo? -he teased her, although then the mood got much heavier when Antonio mentioned Henrique's story.
Patting his friend's back, Tatsuya told him that he wasn't a nuisance.
-Stomping our date? As if. I'm still having a lot of fun, ya know! Also, we can be alone later, so don't worry man! -the young man sincerely told Antonio with a half-grin, as a loud snore came from his backpack. It was Dorimon, sleeping again... why would he be so sleepy since the Hypnomon's show? It made no sense, unless...

Henrique enjoyed when Tatsuya gave him that warm gaze and Nanami made that joke about Tatsuya being "beautiful" and not "pretty" in the picture he took with the skirt, forfilling Hypnomon's suggestions. Those things reminded Henrique of something, but his defective brain was being unable to figure out what he was supposed to be remembering.
Both Nanami and Tatsuya explained that teasing was just what THEY did as a couple. Antonio took in the information too, just in case, but had to refrain himself from compalong about this "teasing wars" starting to happen exactly when Tatsuya said they would: at any comment.
"Okay, then I guess it can't hurt can it?" Antonio said. Then the conversation's tone grew a bit heavier as Henrique's liking of "warm bottles" was mentioned. Nanami tried to dismiss the topic at first, but Tatsuya assured Antonio he wasn't being a nuisiance, so he just decided to try to take the shot. He kinda of had the feeling one day he'd have his own T.V show consisting on a loop of him telling his and Henrique's story to different people.
"Awwww, Dowimon's asweep again! I wanted to pway." Henrique complained at the loud snore before Antonio had a chance to begin speaking. The tamer petted Henrique, forgetting the spines that grew from his body, and therefore pulling out his hand almost Immediatly after getting stung by a few.
"I guess if it is ok..." Antonio began "Well, Henrique here wasn't always...a digimon. As I have told Tatsuya before, he used to be a human, my best friend since young. One day, during as school trip that went horribly wrong, me and Henrique found the digivice I use now. We also met this scientist, I think and he later invited to go with him to Japan, for scientific experiments or something. I agreed, much to Henrique's discomtempt and he followed. We got here, in Japan, and Henrique got turned into a digi-egg. It hatched and when I finnaly managed to get him to calm down, the lab was destroyed and we found out that evrything we had brought had been sold." Antonio explained. When he finished he took a look at the listeners, expecting some boredom from Tatsuya as he had heard the story before. "To answer your question, Nanami, Henrique's brain works accordingly to the level he is in. At fresh he does little more than float and have tantrums, while in rookie he actually smarter than me. And in in-training...this." |

"Hmph, so said you, Tats," Nanami interjected his comment about couples who made him puke. "Yet at the same time, you're also dang cheesy yourself... You know you have it in you... give up and come to the side of cheesiness, where I can dip my biscuit in whatever cheesy stuffs you muster and it'll be my snack, the companion for my crackers and potato chips... wait, I'm proving your statement of it being a teasing war, aren't I? OH WELL, whatever, as long as it's fun!" Nanami joked.
At the obvious comment that it's some sort of innuendo, Nanami grinned and attempt to smack him on top of the head, only to feint that she's actually aiming for his stomach instead. At the same time, she aimed a spoon strike to his knee, although obviously it's only with a joking strength instead of all her strength.
Regardless of hit or not, she'll return back to topic at hand... his house key.
"Pftt, not trusting me enough on that, Tats? Tsk, tsk, tsk... here I'm letting you get in to my room and you won't return it in kind? What a gentlemen are you?" she joked, poking his ribs. "Plus, like I want to envelope myself in your sweaty gi, which you probably won't wash immediately after your karate training? Please, Dear... don't think something that silly. This Nanami-sama will lay on your bed instead and take a nap until you're home... and then the fun will begin..."
And when Nanami heard what happened to the other boy, she looks shocked. The Digimon is not a Digimon back in the past!?
"...That was something," Agitatomon commented. "I never heard of such experiment... how to digitalize an analog stuff such as a living human? It's hard to imagine what have you gone through... you have my sympathy."

Tatsuya quirked an eyebrow at the girl, smirking. How could she call him cheesy? -Me? A cheesy guy? Please, you know that I'm the most stupid guy you can find out there in terms of knowing how to take my girl on a proper, romantic date, don't you? Plus I like teasing you a lot more than those idiotic and embarrasing games that many couples do nowadays... what's with that thing of talking about their babies?
For fuck's sake, they haven't even been together for a month, yet they say so much crap! I really hope none of my friends are like that, or else I wouldn't be able to contain myself... -he whined, but he was being completely sincere. Of course, he couldn't blame them. -Also, you know I don't take anything seriously! I'm sure I won't do for your stereotypical, cheesy man... and thank God I'm not one of them. Otherwise I'd ask Dorimon to kill me right away -he stated, being completely serious.
It was then when Nanami attempted to tease him right away, telling him that she would just take a nap on his bed until he came back home, when the fun could begin. A mischievous smirk was drawn on his face once more. Busted. Completely busted, to say the truth. -Oh, really? I might be wrong, because you first-handedly know how bad my memory can be... but I could've sworn you were the one that asked me to stop back at your place. Am I right? However, I gotta admit that you are convincing... and naughty -he finished, looking at Antonio as he laughed.
-And this is how a relationship is for us!
Afterwards, his friend told Nanami the story about how he had turned into a Digimon. It was a sad event, so Tatsuya stayed silent the whole narration. When he finished, Tatsuya gave him the same look as the last time. -Well, Dorimon has the same quirk, more or less, though it's just a matter of his speech getting a "W" in between many words. It does fix when he becomes a Rookie, then he grows much more mature in other forms. That's why him he's a playful furball when we're in the human world... with his friends, of course.
