They've all got the same heartbeat,
but her's is falling behind. Patch swung his rod to and fro, taking out a few of the Pipismons. Along with Ayaka and Ryoko, they were able to finish off the bat-like Digimon.
AJ blew out a sigh of relief when their partners were done fighting. Patch made his way over to his tamer and she smiled at the tall angel man. "Good job," she said, holding out her D3 to de-digivolve to back to Mikemon.
Patch's ears flickered slightly and he turned his head when Shin and Jimmy made their way down. Ryoko greeted them and AJ waved. "Hey guys!" she said, then turned to follow Ryoko deeper into the cave.
"So, what's the plan?" she asked, moving closer to Ryoko to speak to the older girl.

At last, vision came back to him. Despite the noises of the fight, it turned out to be arledy over when the xros general finnaly managed to see again, spotting his xros loader in the ground not too far away from him. Annoyed, he grabbed the device with a silent complain. Elson hated the feeling of uselessness the whole situation was giving him. In fact , if there was something he despised, was not being able to act about was going on around him. The whole thing just pulled him back to his early days, to the bullying he used to suffer from. Until the day he stood up. Still, he had stuff to deal with now, more dangerous stuff.
"Just a second!" Elson replied to Ryoko's call. He raised his xros loader "Silversteamdramon re-load!"
The machine Immediatly appeared in front of Elson, streching out.
"I heard fighting sounds my general. What happened?" Silversteamdramon asked.
"Don't ask. Let's go." Elson replied. He didn't want to talk about that humiliation. Silversteamdramon just nodded and moved on, not telling Elson that he noticed the Pipismons lying around.

Thanks to Ryusei timely 'Rider' Gigabolt Burst, things were alright again. Elson's mistake had been corrected and now all the Pipismons laid unconscious on the floor. They were free to advance to the depths of the mine now. As they did so, it seemed that... Jimmy was here too? Both him and Shin seemed to be in this very place.
"Hi, Jimmy-san, Shin-san!" she greeted as she saw the duo, pretty happy to see them again "How're you? What a weird place to find you two here, of all things".
She didn't care of the reason, to be honest, unless they were on the bad guys' side, but after helping them with the Vikaralamon incident, she doubted so. Now with their group consisting on five humans and five digimons (plus whoever was in Elson's army) they continued their advance. Truthfully, both the now-ultimate fairy and her partner were a little worried; they had already done a good amount of noise, and even if they had disposed of the threats on a quick fashion, one could say that the damage had been already done. Probably, the baddies would expect them inside the mines, and probably they'd be already laying a trap or two for them. The two of them began to grow a little alert at the situation, only because further missteps would probably greatly compromise the situation.

The echoing footsteps of Jimmy and Shin announced their arrival on the now mostly silent battlefield. The pair had grew worried after seeing a flash of light and hearing nothing more then the groaning of the mechanical machines in the distance. Yet it seems it was for not as it appeared that Ryusei was the victor of the battle.
Huh... Seems were a little late to the party. Jimmy thought as he took notice of the unconscious Pipismon on the floor. His gaze then moved towards the people in the room and notice that he recognized most of them. What a strange coincidence this is?
First there was Mana and Ayaka who he remembered seeing during the fight with Vikaralamon and at the sweet competition. Then there was the girl he had met back in an alleyway in Shibuya (who he honestly couldn't recall what her name was right now) with her digimon partner. And finally, there was Ryoko and Ryusei who he met on the day he finally returned to the human world. The only ones he didn't recognize was what appeared to be a Xros General who seemed to be at a lack of self-confidence at the moment.
"Uhh... Yeah. It's great to see all of you here too, I guess." Jimmy said as he rubbed the back of his head, "So do any of you care to quickly explain to me what exactly brings you all here? I get the feeling that this isn't just some kind of group excavation your all happen to be apart of." Despite having a good guess why Ryoko would be here, he would prefer to have one of them confirm it for him.
Shin just crossed his arms as Jimmy talked as he recognized four of the group here being one's who helped fight Vikaralamon. Well at least the digimon did. Their human partners on the otherhand seemed to have decided to get in the way and only ended up getting themselves hurt in the process. He could only hope they won't end up deciding to pull a similar stunt again during this delve.

(OOC: MAI GAWD MAI GAWD, MAI GAWD, I forgot it's ma turn nao. Sry for stallin' ya guys for over than 3 weeks! D: But still, we'll have 3-day rule, but I'mma extend it into 1 week for sake of leniency. XD)
Okay, now with the Pipismon fiasco done, it was time to get into deeper part of mine. Looks like there was long passageway of some sort, but then Ryoko and group suddenly heard... a sound of trailing trolley? Both Ryoko and Ryusei looked around, to see the sound's source. But it was like... from ahead?
Just as what they thought, a trolley was coming to the direction of the group. On the trolley was a Gazimon, who seemed to be in runaway or such. He then stopped the trolley right in front of the group, and Gazimon dismounted himself. He then ran to Ryoko, and he was... begging for help?
"Thank Yggdrasil! Humans and Digimons! I was running away from the guards, and I was about to go out of this mine to seek for some help... Please! They're running at me!"
The Gazimon explained what was going on with him right away, and he seemed to beg for Ryoko and the others' help. At first, Ryoko looked at him with puzzled stare, and she needed an explanation.
"Wut happened witcha exactleh?" Ryoko asked him.
"Well, you see, I'm actually one of the workers in the mine. The problem is, we work like a slave. Mining without given rest, and they barely give us any payment. All that big bull wants is for us to work, work, and work. Honestly, I hate this kind of thing. So I was going outside to seek for help, and the guards noticed me running away, so they're after me now." The Gazimon answered. Looks like the answer was explaining enough to what kind of predicament he was in.
Ryoko could understand it now, that he was trying to save his workmates from the slavery. Slavery was such an unforgivable act, and it needed to be stopped. Everyone wanted freedom, and no one could rob it from them. That's why she and Ryusei were fighting against Zodiac XII: to fight for freedom. She won't let likes such as Cosmic Empress and Zodiac XII to enslave Digimons, even if they wanted to save the world from the apocalyptic future.
"I understand. We're gonna kick da bull's giant butt 'n free 'da Digimons!" Ryoko declared with determined tone, as she caught her own punch. Moments later, the "guards" Gazimon was talking about came. There was a trolley, mounting three Guardromons coming to where the group were. It then stopped before Gazimon's trolley, and they dismounted before running to them.
"Stop right there!" A Guardromon demanded.
"There they are!" Gazimon yelped as he stood behind Ryoko.
"Hand over the worker to us, or else we don't have any choice, but to exterminate you!" Guardromon threatened, as he readied his Protect Grenade.
"Never ever! I won't hand him over to slave drivers like ya! I'mma zap it to 'da death!" Ryusei shot back as he rushed towards them, unsheathing his Billy the Rod.
The Guardromons then fired their Protect Grenade, one aiming at Ryusei, and other two at an Acerimon and Silversteamdramon. Ryusei deflected one with his rod, which made it blow up on the mine's wall. Ryusei then plugged the Billy Cable on the Plug A, So the rod was brimming with electricity.
"RIDER... TEN GIGAVOLT BREAAAAK!" Ryusei shouted as he jumped to a Guardromon, whacking his lightning stick at him. The Billy The Rod hit the Guardromon, which got zapped from its electricity. It made sense, since machines were weak to electricity. The Guardromon then stumbled from the electrocution, while Ryusei proceeded his attack to another Guardromons. Looks like this form was really suitable to combat machine-type Digimons, besides more powerful MagnetGreymon.

To be completely honest, Elson was actually glad that the miner arrived. He had expected his mistake to haunt him at least for a while, but it seemed there might be a way to redeem his mistake after all. Fighting was something he and his growing army could di well, usually. He didn't show his emotions, however , in respect to the poor miners who had been enslaved. As the guard arrived, Elson drew his xros loader.
"Silversteamdramon, ready to..." He was about to say "go ultimate", but he remembered that they were in a cave. Silversteamdramon-WD couldn't be used in there or they would likely just be buried in there. Still, it didn't mean he couldn't make use of his new team member. Afterall, Drimigemon was currently too tired for usage and Tinkermon's flight ability would be useless in that cave, as the Pipismons quick defeat proved. "Silversteamdramon, Wizardmon, digi-xros!"
The xros loader shined, before hurling a green flash of light onto Silversteamdramon. The mechanical dragon's sword transformed into a staff and he was now wearing Wizardmon's clothes. Pointing his staff at the guardromon, he attacked.
"Antiquity de-charge!" Silversteamdramon-W shouted, lightining erupting from his staff against the Guardromon. Ryusei's eletrical thingy seemed to be working, so should the lightining hit, it would make decent damage, right? |
