The Fated Showdown (Pega, Secret guest?)

Looks like Ryusei managed to land a couple of hits at that cocky bird. Ryusei was sure he could win, or at least he believed. However, after Ankh got beat down, he... laughed?
"...Wut?" Ryusei gawked silently. Is Ankh sissy or what?

Ryoko noticed AJ, Mana, and Ryouta came along with their partners, but that 13 year-old girl screamed at the birdman, feeling betrayed. She could see Ayaka's shocked look too. This made Ryoko frowned in slight anger, clenching her fists. So he was Ayaka's friend, huh? But why? Why must Ryusei and Ankh fight?

And then Ankh began his tirade about his tragic life, and his confession of getting greater power... to protect Ayaka and to purge the world from corruption. Sure, his goals were noble, but from the tone he heard, Ankh seemed to... achieve it by forceful means. He appreciated the goal, but Ryusei, and Ryoko were sick on the way he achieved it.Seriously, to seize the whole world? It was just the same as Cosmic Empress did!

"Don't fuck with me, bird brain! I know you're right and yo' goals r noble, but to conquer da world? DUN JOKE! I bet Aya-chan won't like it at all!" Ryoko snapped at the Garudamon X.

And that was the moment... as Ankh showed his true power. As the explosion occured, Ryoko shielded her face from the burst of wind. After the explosion subsided, it was revealed that Ankh had Digivolved into his Mega form, FireBeelzemon.

"W-Wut?!" Ryusei gawked.
"Holy shit..." Ryoko muttered both in shock and awe (figuratively)
"Mad battle kita~!" Yuuki shouted frantically.

Of course, as Ankh said, Ryusei, Ryoko, and Yuuki were surprised. As he let out the mad laughter again, Ankh shot several peacock feathers at Ryusei, which he shot back with the cannons as he evaded some. Knowing that Ankh wouldn't go easy, Ryusei had to go hard as well.
"Onee-chan! I need S-1 nao!" Ryusei requested.
"Y've juz used too much energy to finish dat Piscesmon girl off, so no! I mean, y'can fite in yo' Ultimate form juz okay, but I won't give ya S-1! It's juz too much for yo' condition nao!" Ryoko shot back.
"Pleez! I can't hold back for nao! He's gettin' dead serious, so I've to get serious as well, or else...!"

Ryoko grunted, knowing that it wouldn't be easy. Ryusei had been tired and only rested for a while, but it might not enough to maintain his Mega form. She considered Ryusei's pleas seriously, as staying in that form might get him killed. But exhausting himself in his Mega form for extensive period was out of option. So...

"Fine! Dun blame me if y're passed out!" Ryoko said as she activated her S-1 Module from her Digivice.


ROCKET! UPGRADE!
The Digivice announced.

Soon, both Rocket Modules appeared on Ryusei's arms, and then...

ROCKET! SUPER!

Ryusei's body shined as the evolution began!

[DIGIVOLUTION SEQUENCE]

MAGNETGREYMON, DIGIVOLVE, TO...

In background of data matrices, MagnetGreymon's body shined as he gained a pair of rocket-shaped gauntlets, flying through the rings of data as his body shrunk into 6 feet tall with humanoid shape. As he went through to the space, Ryusei's body now had a silver space suit with blue chest armor. He then gained a skirt armor that had a status display on the center, and a pair of rocket thrusters on the waist. Whilst the Module Ports for the legs stayed same, the shoes became red in color. Ryusei gained a space shuttle-like mask and long, ponytailed orange hair. On the back, a shuttle of some sort landed. The right Rocket Module gained a drill and clawed tip, while the left gained chainsaw-like scissors.

The Digivolution sequence completed, and Ryusei digivolved into...

"ASTROGREYMON! Uchuu KITAAAAA~!"

[DIGIVOLUTION SEQUENCE ENDED]

After the light faded. Ryusei now Digivolved into AstroGreymon!

Ryusei then charged towards Ankh, attempting to send a punch with drilled right Rocket Module, before sending slash with chainsawed left Rocket Module and a kick.
"RIDER... DRAMON BUSTEEEEEEEEEEEER~!" Ryusei shouted hammily as he tried to send thrusting attack with his Rocket Modules as the draconic aura enveloped them. After all of stuffs, Ryusei was still fired up, huh?

Looking around, he found Mana... who's currently crying and then he saw AJ. The boy jumped to Wingdramon once again, deciding it'll be best to calm Mana down first. Ryoko can take care of it... and if it's needed, Wingdramon will go head on head with the Beelzemon subspecies to help Ryuusei. But currently... Mana over everything. the small sized perfect level dragon landed down beside Mana. Ryouta quickly hugged her.

"...Mana... Mana, calm down... do you know that bird man?" he asked. "Tell me more about him... I don't like where this is heading. Both Ryuusei and Wingdramon isn't in top notch form to fight... Most likely, even if it's 2 vs 1, we'll be on the losing side..."

Wingdramon quickly degenerated to Dracomon as per Ryouta's order. The child dragon Digimon stared at Ryouta with eyes that asked him if it's OK.

"Conserve your strength. Continue eating and take a break between swallowing. we might need to jump anytime... " he told his partner, which he agreed.

((Sorry for the delay. I have to admit that I had(, and still kind of have,) some trouble trying to figure this post out. Unfortunately, with Jimmy being so severely underpowered when compared to everyone else, I have absolutely no clue what role he's going to play in this thread. He doesn't even know any of these characters in any significant way to be able to communicate with them -_- And I can't exactly pull him out of this thread without making Jimmy being very OOC (unless something happens during the Mines thread, but I rather not get into that right now.) So yeah... I just wanted to be honest to why I haven't exactly been posting for this thread, and why my posts are unlikely to be as regular as they usually are until I figure something out. Speaking of which, if any of you have ideas on what Jimmy's role could for this thread could be, please don't hesitate to share it with me. Because, as I said before, I have absolutely no clue what Jimmy is here for, and would really prefer to avoid having him be stuck as an idle observer again.

Now with that rant done and with me not even mentioning how hard it has been wrapping my head around how insanely fast people seem to be able to travel, I should stop stalling and actually work on my post.))

Jimmy paused for a second as he looked at his D-tector deep in thought. If Ryoko was in trouble, it must be something serious. But... Was he even capable of handling it then? No. He shouldn't think like that. He owed it to Ryoko to be there in order to help her in her time of need.

Yet there was another problem too. It was already in question if Bacchiemon could travel such a distance in a decent amount of time, and it was even more so if he had to carry Shin along with him as well. In fact, Jimmy was willing to bet that they wouldn't even be able to make it half way before it was to late. Because of this, and the obvious danger of what's going on, Jimmy was forced to make a very tough decision.

"Execute! Fraction Spirit Evolution." Jimmy called out as he used his D-tector to scan the fractal code orbiting his hand. This caused the fractal code to expand and cocoon his entire body as it began to change. "Bacchiemon" Jimmy then announced as the newly transformed human emerged from the cocoon.

"Good then. We should get going as soon as we..." Shin stopped as he noticed Jimmy was flying off without him, "Wait. What in the world are you doing?"

"Sorry Shin. This is something I have to do by myself." Jimmy replied as he continued to press forward.

Shin growled at Jimmy's decision before closing his eyes to calm himself down some. "You better not end up doing anything stupid, you here? If you do-" Shin's yelling became muffled as the air whipping past Jimmy's ears began to overtake it. It didn't matter much though. Jimmy had go idea what the Falcomon was going to say.

Jimmy continued to fly over the ever expansive sea, pushing himself to the limit to fly even faster. As far as he could tell, time was of the essence, and he would need to reach there as soon as he could. Yet as he kept flying, he felt his strength ever flowing away. There was even a good long moment there when Jimmy thought he would run out before ever finding, but somehow he managed to find himself in the Everfalls shortly there afterwards. He even managed to quickly find the island Ryoko and Co. were on relatively quickly if only because of the two large digimon on it.

As Jimmy approached the island, the first thing he noticed was the small crowd of people there already. He recognize a couple of them from previous encounters with each other, but the boy and his digimon where new faces to him. Regardless of the case, it seemed everyone here was ready for a battle. Well it looks like I might not be needed here after all. Jimmy thought as he found a small area hidden behind a large rock where he could land and catch his breath without anyone noticing, Perhaps it'll be a good idea for me to just leave now. Less I end up getting in the way of whatever is about to happen.

Yet, instead of flying away, Jimmy found himself lacking the energy to really move. His whole body felt like it just ran a marathon, and to a point, he basically did. He wasn't use to flying that, and doing so had managed to tire himself out pretty quickly. It was to the point where he was even having trouble keeping his form.

Shoot... This is just great. Jimmy thought as he peeked from his hiding place to see the two adversaries had digivolved to their Mega levels. What little help Jimmy could have given was thrown out the window. Not that it matter much anyways seeing the shape that he was in. Jimmy guessed this is what he gets for blindly following a request to help Ryoko.

Ryusei got his Dramon Buster hit at Ankh's face, sending him a back. However, he panted afterwards, as if he had been tired. He was, actually tired from his fight against Piscesmon after using those kind of move. The challenge's timing stinked, big time. If he kept using attacks in that form, sooner or later Ryusei would pass out.

And then AJ cheered for Ryusei to go on. He would have rejoiced from that, if only it could replenish his lost energy. And then Ayaka ranted on how Ankh was still old self. It was responded by Ankh's long rant about his revenge and the dream world he wanted.

Ryoko and Ryusei set their ears to listen Ankh's rant thoroughly. He told about his encounter with a Digimon named Izanamon. From what he heard, she seemed to be hardy yet strong Digimon who lived a harsh life, and died after the battle. The flaming Mega seemed to be a crook, but he seemed to have a promise to fulfill, and a compassion to hold dear. So that bird wasn't total crook at all.

And then Ankh pointed out about conflict and peace. True, that conflict always come before peace. True, that the people and Digimons who abused their power and position were mostly the cause of conflict. And true, that they made detriments to the earth. However...

...Was it necessary to destroy them? Destroy their VERY being just for the crimes they had done and they were doing? He even didn't care if he was hated for that? If only it was to attain peace, freedom, and well being of the weaklings, again...

...Was that necessary?

Ryusei and Ryoko could see what was wrong with him. He was crying. He tried to contain his anger, sorrow, and rage bottled up inside him. The hothead duo couldn't help but looked at Ankh with sad look, as if they felt what the fiery Beelzemon was feeling. So this was the reason he went through into the cycle of madness, just to protect people he held dear?

And Ankh continued his rant, unleashing all of his contained emotions. He wanted to make the world better place, with peace and freedom guaranteed, However, he had gone too far. He was too cynic to take other, better option, that he decided to sacrifice his kindness and resorted to use force to establish the order. True, one has to take assertive action to protect somebody, but destroying the adversaries was too far.

Ryoko and Ryusei could understand why Ankh wanted to do so. But again, he was just too cynic. There were better options to take, weren't it?

Ryusei grimaced when hearing why Ankh wanted to fight him. Basically, it was because of Ryoko and her partner were in his way. Well, since her path crossed with Ankh's, Ryoko felt that he was chained, bound by the cycle of madness born from his tragic life. Yet, she could do nothing about it. But if he resorted into madness, even for noblest goal, they had to stop him. Most of their adversaries, Zodiac XII and Cosmic Empress, and Ankh were having noble goals, but they used extreme methods to achieve them.

And then Ankh told how he had met a guy named Joseph. It seemed he had lived miserable life from being abandoned by his parents after their memory were erased by... DATS? Wait.

Ryoko gritted her teeth as Ankh spoiled her status as DATS agent. So, that's why he wanted to dispose them! So that he and that Joseph guy could rule both worlds along with massive army from around the world. So he was gathering army all along for such thing?! How mad! And that mad laughter didn't help at all. That's right. The duo could see it.

Ankh had driven into madness by his sorrow.

"It'za lie! DATS won't ever erase a memory, let alone be able to do dat! Dun believe him so easileh juz b'coz he shared yo' tragic life withcha!"

And that bird brain shot the feather to cage the outsiders, except for Ryoko and mercenaries, and Mana and Ayaka. He just wanted the fight between Ryusei and himself, didn't he? And then Ankh requested Ayaka to heal Ryusei, much to Ryoko and Ryusei's surprise.

"Eh?"

Though Ankh had fallen into madness, he still had sense of honor within him. He even pointed out that he didn't want to attack Ryusei in his current condition. Unfortunately...

Ankh was right.

Ryoko had to admit it. With Ryusei's current condition, he would pass out if he kept going in this form, so...
"Aya-chan, I hate to say 'tis, but... Ankh's rite. He's worn out from da battle with Piscesmon, so... I wantcha to heal Ryusei back to his prime condition. I dun wanna see him like 'tis so I wantcha to heal him NAO!"

When requested, Ryoko, even the toughest girl she was, was beginning to break. Her eyes became teary as she looked at Ayaka. She even saw Mana crying too. She was tired of this shit. She didn't want to lose someone important ever again, since the incident of Caturamon. Many lives lost, and the humans were despised due to her inability to defeat Caturamon. It wasn't her fault or anyone else. It wasn't anyone's fault. Yet, she tried her best to prevent it from happening ever again.

"Yanno, I've seen a tragedy too... I was unable to stop Caturamon at dat time. It costed da whole Snowpoint. Da survivors despised us for such inability... So...

I wanna be stronger. I wanna put ma powers into good use. To protect everythin' n evryone, n to make da worlds better place to live. Unlike ya, Ankh. I dun wanna to make da tyrant law of yours. I juz wanna make people happy, dat's all. I dun need force to keep 'em safe, so..." Ryusei said before pausing for seconds, and then...

"D'YA THINK IT'S NECESSAREH TO SACRIFICE ANYONE OR PART OF YO'SELF JUZ TO FULFILL YO' IDEALS?! I DUN WANNA SACRIFICE ANYTHIN' N I'VE HAD ENUFF OF IT! I JUZ WANNA MAKE GUYZ HAPPY DATS ALL! I KNOW Y WANNA DO SO, BUT YO' THOUGHTS R MIXED UP BY YO' MADNESS! D'YA THINK IT'S OKAY TO LET YO'SELF FALL INTO DAT CYNICISM N SORROW OF YO'S?! NO!!! YA JUZ FALL INTO DESPAIR N YA JUZ LET IT TAKE OVER YA!" Ryusei shouted at the Birdman, with teary eyes. No matter what, the duo stayed true to his own ideals.

So that's what's going on. Jimmy thought as he listened in on the groups conversation. It appeared that Ahnk had decided to rid the world of those who he sees as corrupt and take it over, but Ryoko and Ryusei had decided to try to stop him. So they agreed to have a one on one match between each other. Yet with Ryusei in such a weaken state, and Ayaka refusing to heal him, there was little doubt what's going to happen at the end of this duel.

Well then. Only one thing to do.

Jimmy started laughing maniacally as he returned into his human form and popped out of his hiding spot. "Geez. This has to be one of the most dramatic things I've ever heard." Jimmy said before chuckling again, "I mean. Comeon. I only just got here and it already sounds like a bad soup opera. 'I'm the one who should rule the world.' 'No, your crazy.' 'Your evil.' 'Your both evil.' Jimmy said doing a very bad impersonation of everyones voices before laughing yet again, "It's priceless."

"Though I do have to ask you all if Anhk's plan really all that bad of an idea. Sure a good few eggs may break in the process, but that's the price we must pay for the world to be rid of corruption. Isn't that peace what everyone wants?

"Yet then again, I doubt Anhk would ever fully be able to do such a thing seeing how, in the end, it'll require the sacrifice of himself. But I doubt he really cares about that now. All he wants to do is rid the world of Ryoko and Ryusei for being a part of DATS. I personally wouldn't even bother, but heh, different strokes I guess.

"Just some advice for you Anhk before this match truly begins. While you are fighting Ryusei, don't expect it to truly be an honorable one. Not only have Ryoko's friend just abandon them during their time of need, but even if they were at full power, they probably wouldn't be any match for you. Afterall, Ryoko just said it herself that despite the fact that they were able to attain Mega, they still failed to stop a deva from destroying Snowpoint. It's pretty pathetic really." As Jimmy finished, a small, confident smirk appeared on his face. Now to see how things go from here.
