Ankh was really crazy. He stayed true to his cynic conviction, but still he wanted the fight to continue. Ryusei, however, hoped that the fight would end soon, so he didn't have to endure all the strain from force-digivolving into Mega form. Not even Ayaka's cynic comments help, though. However, she misunderstood.
"No, Ayaka. Y'got da wrong idea." Ryusei corrected. "I dun fite to kill, but to protect. I dun wanna kill anyone, realleh. I'm here to stop Ankh. I'll at least bring him down to Rookie level, n I win. I feel sad after da shit he had, but I can't help but feelin' he's gone mad. Dats wai I've to stop him. I wanna save him... from his own despair.
Even if it seems impossible, I'm tryin' to help him out to get him outta his cynic mindset n to show dat people's happiness is moar than anythin' else. Ankh's gone too far, dat he can't see things clearly. I dun wanna see him like this, PERIOD! I wanna show him despite da world's corrupted, thar's sum part of it dat remains unstained! We're fitin' to protect dat part! Basicalleh, I'm fitin' not for absolute justice, but to protect people 'n their happiness!
So, Ankh... I know ya wanna fite me so much. Ya even wrote in da letter dat if we refused yo' invitation, y'would hunt us down n snap our backs. So basicalleh, either we want it or not, y'wanna fite me so badleh, eh? Fite it ya want, but know this: Ya can't fite in hatred. Hatred will consume ya eventualleh, n becomes da maniac y're nao. Hate is power, but malicious one at dat. So... will ya stop fitin' by hatred 'n resolves to protect Ayaka 'n da others instead, so yo' tragic life won't be ever happened to 'em?"
Hopefully, Ryusei's words could ease Ayaka a bit. However, something worse happened. That fiery Mega gone mad, that he threatened his tamer and her friends! Ryusei and Ryoko could only widen their eyes at Ankh, that he would do such mad thing. Furthermore after he threatened Ryoko if she moved, he'd blow up her head for sure. Ryusei growled, and then he ignited his rocket arms and wingpacks...
"ANKH! STOP IIIIIIIIIT!!!" Ryusei exclaimed as he sent a punch. After sending a punch, Ryusei panted, and he glared at Ankh. That's right, he went full retard.
"PLEEZ DUN DO DAT, ANKH! I KNOW YA WANNA SETTLE OUR RIVALRY, BUT NOT IN THIS WAY! DUN INVOLVE ONEE-CHAN, OR AYAKA, OR EVRYBUDDEH ELSE! I'D RATHER TO PASS OUT THAN SEE YA FORCE AYAKA TO HEAL ME, DAMN IT!!!" Ryusei shouted at Ankh.
