As said before in the previous thread, Ayaka ended up somewhere that vaguely looks like Dark Area. She's regressed to her Cormmon form, without the ability to digivolves... A screen would pop out beside her, showing sealed Ankh in crucified position, although definitely the red pigeon--ahem, garuda would still be alive and kicking. Still, what's in front of her is not pleasant the slightest. River of blood, red, cracked land, dead faunas... it's almost like this is a cruel world where nothing could survive from its grasp.
However, it's obvious that this place isn't the dark area as she know... this place is slightly tamer... if anything, it's pale in comparison to the dark area place, because it's almost as if welcoming compared to the forsaken place of all evil, fallen Digimons. No one is there beside her, which is rather odd...
It's fine if you don't wish to move forward... but would you move forward? Your trial does not took form of your memory, but instead something much worse.. When you're powerless, in level of a baby, where would you actually try to look to? Where will you seek help? No matter what your choices be... may the luck always smiles at you.

So, this was it. Ayaka totally and utterly lost in a place that resembled the Dark Area, but wasnt it at the same time. It looked a lot more forgiving, even if the panorama was really sickening in her eyes.
She was stuck in her Cormon form, and even if she could mantain her Kodamon form, even if Mana was away from her, it just seemed the she couldn't evolve at all. And talking about strange... a scroud popped besides her, showing Ankh in his Garudamon X form on a crucifixion pose of sorts. Luckily, he seemed to be alive, and that prompted a sigh of relief from the little pink digimon. She was beginning to feel strange about the guy since he had accepted to take her pain instead of him. It was... a strange kind of appreciation. "Ankh-san?" her childish, yet ladylike voice muttered "Can you hear me? Are you okay?".
Then, a dark voice began uttering the conditions of her trial. Apparently, she had to look for help to get out of here? If this was anything like the Dark Area, the chances of her surviving as a simple Cormon were scarse, but the chances she had to survive in the true place place were even fewer and she had done it, so she armed herself with courage and began hopping forward, hoping to find someone or something to help her in her ordeal. Mana was waiting for her, wherever she was, and it would be really impolite to have her waiting.

Ankh, still crucified, struggled to withstand the force. however, the force was too strong to break. He still glared at the Dark Yuuki, while bottling up his rage towards the heinous teen. And more rage bottled as he heard the hooded teen was in fact, part of Yuuki, and killing him would kill Yuuki as well. In short, he and light Yuuki were one being.
"FUCK YOU!!!" Ankh roared at the teen, especially after hearing the fact. The sweat dropped from his head, glaring at the heinous brat intensely. "I don't care what you are or what are you plan to do with that brat, but like I said, don't try to hurt Hanahime! Mark my words!"
Ankh then looked at the screen where Ayaka was in a... Dark Area of some sort, with sea of blood and cracked land everywhere. He then heard Ayaka's voice from the screen, communicating from the area. "I hear you, Hanahime! I'm fine, at least that hooded brat not gonna hurt me sooner or later. And you can hear me, right? You're in the place similar to Dark Area, right? And if you find something, tell me."
Ankh just hoped that Ayaka would be safe... He wouldn't forgive that brat if he dared to hurt Hanahime, his power, his strength, and his... reason and place where he could belong.

As Ayaka moves forward more, along the way, she met several Kodamons... but not the healthy kind. They're colored oddly, like half wilting, half colored by the same red of the blood river. Their 'hair', too, is not wavy like how her 'hair' is in Kodamon form, but similarly to traditional Japanese haircuts... hime-cuts, they're called. Each of them looked at her, smiling politely before bowing. However, their smile is not the smile of someone who's happy. It's smile of someone who's pained.
On the end of the road, however, lies a regal woman clad in kimono. On her hair grows red spider lily (Lycoris radiata), while the end part of her kimono clusters into something resembling bulb. Her slanted red eyes slightly resembles Lilymon in property. Despite her overall beautiful appearance, her well fitting make up, her kimono looks like torn and very old. Her skin color is so white, but deathly white. It's almost like she's a dead being. Maintaining herself in such a weird position, she looks like she's sitting on something... on her laps, there are five Cormmon, which seem to be really weak, but regardless, very well treated.
If Ayaka approach, she'll simply stare at her, like waiting for the small Cormmon to introduce herself. Digimon: IZANAMON

As Ayaka began to hop forward, she began to find her... peers? Along the way, there were Kodamons. More Kodamons that the ones she had seen in her entire lives. Yet those were vastly different from her very own form, albeit strikingly similar. Their bodies were undoubtedly tinted with the taint of this merciless terrain, and she couldn't but silently lament their state (although she found their 'haircuts' to be quite fashionable). Yet, the politeness remained in them, or at least an illusion of it; as she returned back every bow it had been given to her, she continued on her way until... she was awestruck.
In front of her, she saw a digimon that gave her the very same regal impression that in her memories she had of her... mother. She knew that she wasn't a Konohamon, but just perceived an aura that make her reminisce. The regal digimon was sitting on a throne that apparently was made out of thin air, and when she saw the Cormons in her lap, she realized that maybe she was a variation of her line that thrived in this harsh enviroment? She could only make a wild guess. Lest to say, if this digimon was the 'mother' of all the Kodamons and Cormons she had seen in her way, she commanded Ayaka's absolute respect, and she showed it instantly by deeply bowing to her before finally introducing herself.
"I am humbled by your presence, Great Lady" the digimon said in the most formal tone her childish voice could muster "My name is Ayaka and I am... lost, but seeking".

Ankh then watched Ayaka going through the area, and met her "kind". However, her kind was... different from hers. What's up with the red body? Did they drink blood from the river? And they looked... hurt, and sorrowful. It just made him creeped out.
"Kodamons? There's another subspecies like Hanahime's?" Ankh gawked when seeing this. "What's the meaning of this?"
Ankh then saw Ayaka went to a lady in a kimono. She looked so motherly to the red Cormons on her laps. Despite that, he felt like there was something strange in that womon. Just who was that? And Ayaka introducing herself to the womon was rather obnoxious. "Hanahime, can you hear me? If you listen me, then be careful! I've a bad feeling on that woman." Ankh informed.
Ankh was a bit worried, especially that she had to face the trial on her own in her in-training form... Not to mention he still had something to be "confessed".

The regal Digimon inhales before creating a small chair, which looks like made from dead tree for Ayaka to sit on. She snapped her finger, and somehow, it released Ayaka's limiter and she could assume her Kodamon form again if she desired, but nothing higher.
"Seedling blessed by light, are you not?" the Digimon asked. "What are you seeking, O lucky one, in lair of hydra, where miasmas are so thick that it's not enough to photosynthesis? Surely you're not of the ungrateful who oblivious to what she granted with, after seeing what her kin would be in tis' heaven forsaken land?"
The Digimon gently put down all Cormmon on her lap, just like a caring mother would.
"Alas, where be my manner? I have forgotten to introduce myself, haven't I? O Ayaka of the fortunate realm, before you is me, the mother of all your similar kin in here. My name is Izanamon, [The Flower of Afterworld]. As you can see, there's nothing here but me and my dearest children, a pity for them who born in this kind of place, but even a Mega like me have no power to leave this harsh place. My children have to bear the consequence, and cling to me they do, as I'm the only one who can ward off attackers... Rest easy. As long as you're in my territory, none shall come to attack you, as we Izanamons are very poisonous."
Several Kodamons from before approaches them with a small bucket of water. Fresh water, which is a very rare thing in here.
"...Pardon us for unable to give you more hospitality than this."

"You should not worry, Ankh-san. These digimons are my kin, my... family. Not even in the most surreal of illusions my own kind would be treasonous to me, Ankh-san. I should be more worried about what has caused them to be confined in this merciless place. I can only imagine how sorrowful getting by day by day this would be".
Yet, there wasn't much she could do as she faced Izanamon. She looked to be really powerful and she even doubted that she could face her on even ground, even as Acerimon. Not that she wanted to, as the regal digimon inspired awe in her. Making her kin thrive in such a hard place was indeed a sign of a gentle heart and Ayaka was admired at that. That, and the fact that she seemed to be welcoming and polite to her, despite the luck she had in about the conditions in where she was born.
At the lady's gesture, Ayaka evolved into her Kodamon form, taking seat as Izanamon spoke to her. It was a rather sad situation, but if she didn't have enough power to help, there wasn't much she could do herself.
"I sympathize with your kind, Izanamon-sama. I too, have endured a place similar to this too, or at least I believe to. My memories about that life have been mostly despoiled by events that are rather... inconsequential as of now. What matters now are my geas and plight; to exit this place as soon as I can" she said with determination and honesty "Do not misinterpret me, it is not that I do not greatly appreciate your hospitality nor graciousness" the plant mentioned as she cupped a small amount of water with one hand and drank it slowly "But I have someone waiting for me, Izanamon-sama. Someone that needs my help to push forward, just as your children need you to thrive in this harsh place. If you know a way for me to reach her again, no condition or price will be too low...
I am willing to do anything for her, Izanamon-sama".

At first, Ankh was about to protest, but he chose to believe in his... er... Love interest. She was strong, despite she only merely an In-training by force. He knew she could pass the trial. However, the worry kept bothering him. What was this bad feeling? Never mind. The worry was the source of bad feeling after all.
"Alright. I believe you. But watch carefully what they're doing, okay?" Ankh asked.
He then watched Ayaka meeting said figure, called Izanamon. Izanami and underworld... Makes sense. Since he had been in real world, he had read the human literatures, so he knew a bit about Japanese folklores. However, as he looked at Izanamon and her children, the unease pryed once more. Were they the victim of Dark Area, and the harshness of the world's nature as whole? That they ended up weaklings like he once used to be?
If so, Ankh had a reason to seek for power. Not only to fulfill his revenge, but to change the world as well. To erase the rule of "strong preys on weak" from the world's law. So, he and Ayaka could be the rulers of the new world where no one could abuse their powers, and no one was obligated to seek for power.
"I see. So they're the result on living in Dark Area for too long... Blame the world for all of this! I'm tired of seeing the weak oppressed by the rule where the strong always preys on the weak! If only I can grasp the power of Darkness, I'll get them out of that damned hell! And I'll use the power to change the world so there are none like those miserable kinds, and they'll be live happily like Hanahime now! Now you ses the point why I'm seeking for more power, right?" Ankh bellowed.

"Is that so?" the regal Digimon inquired, standing on full height. "Well, then, Ayaka... as I said before, predators avoids this place because of my, Izanamon's, presence. And would you think I'll let someone in level as low as you to walk away to be morsel of those barbaric, bloodthirsty being in this heaven forsaken land? My hospitality would be in vain... my kindness for my guest would be for naught... I'd rather to give the water to my seedlings. Therefore, if you still wish to proceed, and even to insist to proceed, then I shall engrave it to your body, what would happened to those who without logic still insist to proceed."
Red aura flared around the Digimon's body, twisting, flaring about... it felt so suffocating, but it doesn't filled with malice nor hatred nor desire to kill. Still, for a moment, Izanamon's regal appearance has taken turn into something akin to her battle mode with her nails grows really long and her beautiful face took turn into demon-like. However, soon, the Digimon sat again with the same position, relaxing herself, her appearance back to normal.
"...Yet it's not I am without any mercy nor understanding... Dear seedling blessed with light and joy of better realm... tell me, who is this fortunate person who gained your absolute loyalty and love? Once you do, then... perhaps I'll give you a small test... before asking you the very fundamental question, Seedling of Konohamon."

Getting out of the chair, Ayaka bowed at Izanamon in a dogeza position. "Please, Izanamon-sama. I know that my plight seems to be suicidal and I know the dangers that might be out there trying to feast on me. I am being ungrateful of your gracioness and hospitality, and I cannot apologize enough for that".
She grew concerned as the digimon began changing, but she was determined to complete this trial and to return to Mana's side and no price was high enough for her to accomplish that. The question the lady had made to her seemed weird, at least in Ayaka's ears, but if she wanted to hear the answer, she'd give it to her.
"The person who I found worthy of my absolute devotion was the first person who cared for me after my mother. The only one who had chosen to give me her unconditional and unwavering love without second thoughts and without asking anything in return. Even when she did not know anything about me, she did that only with the only purpose of helping me and no second intentions. Her name is... Mana; she is my partner and my only reason to live".
Her words were full of emotion, and her usual polite tone wavered as she made her speech, as feeling leaked out every now and then. The appreciation she had for the human girl was clear as a sunny day, yet the fairy could only fear what'd be the reaction of Izanamon at the mention of a human. Would it be good... or bad?

Ankh watched the events from the screen thoroughly. Those bloody plants were kind after all. They offered Ayaka fresh water to drink, which only deserved to the likes of her. True, they suffered from drinking that blood too much, hence the venom in their body. Considering what happened to Izanamon and her children, Ayaka should be lucky. Even luckier than Ankh was...
Seeing Izanamon's hospitality made Ankh realized something. Despite living in weakness, they showed their compassion towards newcomer like Ayaka. Despite they had nothing to leave the Dark Area, they still struggled to survive in such poisonous area. To protect her family, and her kind. To protect the place they belonged: The solidarity. It was because of the solidarity of family that they openly welcome Ayaka who was from brighter land.
And Ankh? He lost everything. His right to live, his family, and his place where he belonged to. Since then he lived in despair and sorrow, desperately looking for power to subjugate everyone who mad ehis life miserable, and to fulfill his revenge. He lost his compassion since. He threw away his compassion in exchange of power. To rule, to influence, and to destroy. However, it was changed.
Since he met Ayaka.
He grew his feelings towards her, since the first sight. She was beautiful, and strong. She could be the power he need, and he could be hers. Now he had found the place where he belonged. In Ayaka's heart. Now he slowly growing his compassion towards her. So he wouldn't just craving on power, but to make better life and change the world with her.
And she mentioned her tamer, Mana. So she had affection and loyalty towards this Mana brat. Looks like her conviction was true after all. Fighting for her sake, and to live together with her, and enjoying the happiness, and shared every moment together. So that was friends, huh? Now he began remorsing on how he lost Pandamon family and using Chuumon like his own tool.
"Hanahime... You..." Ankh muttered, as suddenly, a tear dropped from his eyes, dropping to the ground. "You do really care about that brat, huh? You're strong, Ayaka no Hanahime. You're strong. Your compassion... Maybe that's where your strength come from."

"So... you're one of the partnered Digimon, are you not, Ayaka?" Izanamon inquired. However, there's no change in her posture or tone. "Those who partnered with human, those who gave their service to the humans... to be completely honest, I have no qualms with them... it's more like I found them very interesting. As much as I want to experience that kind of life, I'm content in this life, with my dear children... Those who has tasted adventure will eventually return to me... but unfortunately, none has gained the pleasure of getting the same treatment as you, Ayaka... still, now that I has heard your tale, I shall put test upon you."
The regal Shinjin-gata Digimon produces a table out dead tree once more, where on top of it, a small chess board appeared. However, it's seem not the one to be played with two, but more to illustrating something. On Ayaka's end, appeared a Konohamon piece, while on Izanamon's end, an Izanamon piece appeared. Several Plumulmon pieces appeared on each sides.
"...Now hear my tale, little Ayaka... I, like you, am born from a Konohamon... like my sisters who born from the 1000 Sakura---Senbonzakura, an event which occurred when Konohamon bursts into flame and return anew to cycle of life as Digitama... I does not think highly of my mother, who died because she submitted herself to fate... fate it was, for Konohamon to be the weakest when her petals all gone, and so, she returned to Digitama even before she managed to give us her love... We Izanamons does not become like this merely because our desire to strive in this situation, but how we rejected the 'destiny' that bound us to be Konohamon who lives without being able to protect her children... now, is it wrong, this point of view? Be brutally honest if you wish, nothing is wrong with that."

At Ankh's words, the fairy smiled at the screen. She was afraid that she would offend her guest if she said improper words in front of her, so only gestures had to do. Hopefully Ankh would be okay with that.
Ayaka, still on her bowed position, simply nodded when Izanamon refered her as a digimon partnered with a human. At least she was out of that predicament, but as she sat on her chair again, the regal digimon produced a small chess board and made her question. Ayaka symphathized with the luck that her peer had suffered, but she realized that even with her history, she had left some gaps open. She had let unanswered questions hang in the air, but still... she would try to answer to the best of her ability.
"Can I really compare? I know how a Konohamon bears children, but what about Izanamon? Can I really make an accurate comparison when I am missing information? Most likely I cannot, but in the case that you kind can bear children without weakening themselves almost to the point of reformatting, I think that there must me something else. But in case that there is not, I do not see why your posture is not the correct one. Your kin, your family, your... own sap and bark; they all are precious beings, and without doubt in my head, I know that I would risk my life to protect them, even if I had not reached my upper forms yet. Yet, I know that not all the Konohamon outright revert themselves to Digitamas while burning all their power, as I myself have memories of my mother caring for me so... I can only say that you were on the losing side of the wheel of fortune. I've but met only one Konohamon in my entire life, so I cannot be really sure, but my mother was a caring individual with exceptional beauty that... defended her children until the last consequences, even given her weakened state.
And, even in my current powerlessness, I would do just the same. Even for you and your children, as every Kodamon share the same common ancestor and as such... we are all sisters; sorry, I am digressing. But the thing is that ultimately, I agree with you, Izanamon-sama. I ignore the consequences of treading your path instead of walking through the usual one, but if that means I can protect whoever I hold dear better, I would take it without even thinking about it twice".

Ankh just watched Ayaka conversing with the Izanamon, and looks like the latter accepted the fact the former had partnered with a human well. Of course, that Izanamon needed to test her conviction and her faith. If Ayaka trusted that little brat so much, then he should trust her love interest as well. perhaps by finding a partner he might have got a reason to live, and to protect...
"I see. So that's what you see in that brat." Ankh noted.
The Mega produced a chess board, and they seemed to have a trial by having chess match. It was Ankh's game, really. If only he had put into the test, he could have won. But he needed to guide Ayaka on this one, or believe in her. So what would Hanahime do to win this match?
He then listened throroughly to her story. So she had lost her mother as well. A family, just like he had. Both suffered same fate where they were deleted. But not that much, as she died from exhaustion, and the Pandamons were outright deleted without able to defend him. So here he was, as the vengeful avian he was today.
"I can't believe you still bear that shit. You're able to overcome your despair and sorrow, but I..." Ankh began whimpering, to the point he almost cried. "I'm just consumed by revenge... And ambition to seek for more power..."
And strength wasn't just about power.
