They've all got the same heartbeat, but her's is falling behind. AJ pushed through the doors of the cafe, inhaling as she did the sweet and bitter scents of coffee and mochas. Her blue-gray orbs shifted over to the stage where she had performed her first concert in Shibuya. It had also been her last since she had been very busy with school and traveling to and fro between her world and thee Digital World.
"Well, here it is. I remember meting you here for the first time, Tats. You just had to come bug me since I was such a good singer" she teased the older teen.
She made her way over to the bar which was exactly where Ryouta and Tatsuya had approached her before they had went to the alleyway.
"Just a coffee please with a vanilla shot and a lot of creamer. Thanks," she said in Japanese.
"I'm hungry too!" Patch exclaimed, bobbing his little green head. AJ put her index finger to her lips and hushed him before ordering a blueberry muffin for herself and an order of sashimi for Patch.

So this is the place... and from the look, Aria understood why it can be said as a 'live concert place'... Tatsuya has said that their first meeting was a concert... If only her parents aren't as strict, maybe she'll perform here one day... being on stage, singing, having a blast instead of being in a recital, where everyone seem to be rather distant instead of close and cheering her... Looks like she's more to the concert type instead of recital type...
"I'll have some of this cafe's specialty sandwich and sweet black tea, thank you... um... scratch that, please make it two portion of the said sandwich."
She really has forgotten her Pafumon, doesn't she? Still, she quickly remembered, so her Pafumon is happy about it.
"So... um... you know, about... these," she made sure that both of her new companions understood that she meant Digimons... "...where can we eat without peoples looking?" she whispered to the others, hoping it's clear enough for them.

Tatsuya followed Avery to the café when the two of them had first met, although now they were being accompanied by Aria, the girl they had met that very same day at Shibuya's School. After the latter entrusting her feelings about her current situation to the older teenagers, they had decided to drop by the aforementioned place in hopes of having a drink and something to eat. Following the fifteen-year-old female, the teen's eyes hovered over the stage where Avery had sung, which was empty at that moment.
He was brought back to reality by the girl's teasing side. -Well, here it is. I remember meting you here for the first time, Tats. You just had to come bug me since I was such a good singer -she had told him. Tatsuya chuckled, in return, and answered to that comment with his usual kind of reply: playfulness mixed with a little mischief. -Please, Ave, you know you loved it when I came here and praised your singing... and I didn't know you had a teasing side. Well, that way I can get my fair share of fun, don't you think? -he answered to the comment with a friendly wink.
The teen was about to order something too, but then Aria asked them if they could have some privacy... obviously, she was referring to their Digimon partners, who also had the right to eat something. With a smile, he turned to the woman who was standing behind the bar, who the young man thought should be around her early twenties. With a half-grin, he leaned on the bar as he addressed the aforementioned. -Excuse me, but wouldn't you happen to have a table where we could have a little privacy? I'd be really grateful if you could get one for us... -he asked the female, who also smiled and told them that there was a free table in an area without many customers.
Another grin then grew on his lips, mouthing a "thanks", the female giggling a little. -So, let's go! I'm kind of hungry... oh, by the way, I'll have a plain glass of cofee and a chocolate muffin -Tatsuya said, awaiting for their order to come. The sweet was for his partner, a treat he'd enjoy for sure.

They've all got the same heartbeat, but her's is falling behind. AJ sighed. This was so nostalgic. It was so strange that just a few months ago she had been uncertain about her future here in Shibuya and her partnership with Patch, but now that she was actually going to school, it seemed as if everything was falling into place.
When Tatsuya began teasing her again, she just smirked. "I just hide that part of my personality behind the quiet girl you first met." she glanced down and smiled softly. "Actually Tats, because of you, I've really opened up a lot."
When the younger girl mentioned she wanted some privacy, Tatsuya took the initiative to ask if they could have a private booth. AJ glanced around and found the free table the girl behind the bar mentioned. Fortunately, it was in a more secluded part of the café. Off to the side of the stage and a corner booth.
The Italian teen made her way over there and sidled into the seat, making room for the other two teens. She placed Patch in her lap and smiled at the others. Hopefully their food would be delivered soon. She was starting to get pretty hungry since she hadn't ate since their lunch period at school.
"So Tats, you just have to flirt everywhere you go," she said, teasing the older boy again.

"I don't understand why you guys would like coffee... they're bitter! Unless it's... yeah, coffee with so many creamers," the younger black haired girl protested. Still, it's like pot calling kettle black because she's an adverse fan of green tea. When she noticed that she's no longer in school, Aria glanced to the sides, as if searching for something. When she doesn't seem to find whatever she's looking for, she sighed in relief and suddenly, with one motion, she pulled the ribbon that locked her braids. She took off one of her shoe, before pulling out a bucket hat from it. The girl in sailor fuku loosened her tie slightly before wearing the hat.
"Now this is freedom!" the girl commented before going to the corner with the rest of her companions. Noir quickly jumped to Aria's lap once she seated herself. The Pafumon let out a small sound of being content. As for the girl herself, she listened to her senior teasing the dark brown haired boy. Aria also grinned, thinking to join the teasing fun.
"Hee... so from what Avery-sempai said, does that mean that you also flirted her? Aren't you a Casanova?"

The young man had ordered coffee, his drink of choice being questioned by Aria with a small protest, the black haired thirteen year old saying that it was too bitter for her taste. -Meh, I'm not a big fan of it either, but we aren't in a café, aren't we? So I might as well give it a try. Bitter things are usually sweet once you get used to them -he said, smirking at Aria, referring to their initial interaction.
After Tatsuya's comment about Avery's teasing side, the girl just smirked in the same way that he usually did. She replied by telling him that she hid that trait of her personality behind the quiet girl she appeared, and afterwards confessed that, thanks to him, she had really opened up a lot. The Kazan offered her a sincere smile. It was great that he had been able to provoke that change on her. -No need to thank me! Thank yourself. If you weren't nice, I wouldn't have kept talking to you after our first encounter. Glad that you think that way, though! -the oldest of the three said, happily.
Once he managed to get them a more private table, he sat opposite to Avery and Aria, awaiting for the drinks to come. He could feel his partner jostling inside his bag, but he had to wait, at least until they were sure that a human carrying coffee, tea and snacks wouldn't go near their table: it would have to wait until they were served. Stretching a little, the old teenager listened to what Avery had to say, which would make a mischievous, playful half-grin appear in his lips once again.
-So Tats, you just have to flirt everywhere you go -the fifteen year old told him, propmting his answer a second after. -I wouldn't call it that, but hey, don't tell me you are jeally! -he laughed, winking an eye to the girl. He was messing with her a little again, but it seemed that Aria wasn't going to stay back that time. -Hee... so from what Avery-sempai said, does that mean that you also flirted her? Aren't you a Casanova?
That made Tatsuya burst in laughter. As he managed to speak again, still letting soft chuckles, he smirked to both of them. -As if! I'm the least romantic guy there is out there, I'm telling you. Also, I wouldn't consider myself a Casanova... I mean, it's more like kind of a game, one I enjoy a lot. I think I'm like that because I can't recall having trouble talking to anyone... who knows, though? -he finished.
-We keep talking about me, but what about you, Ave? Aria said you were popular... maybe you have some admirators and you still haven't told me about it? I would ask you too, Aria, but... you're only thirteen! -he inquired with a mischievous look.

They've all got the same heartbeat, but her's is falling behind. AJ smiled softly at the younger girl as she let her hair loose and put on a cap, even loosening the tie that was a part of their high school uniform. The older girl leaned back, enjoying the plush cushions against her back.
"It's good to see you can loosen up, Aria. I'm glad you feel comfortable around us," she said, grinning at the other girl.
When Aria teased Tats about being a "Casanova," the Italian tamer laughed. "Oh yes, I can see he is quite the ladies man." Then she shook her head at his comment about being "jelly." "Nope, not in the slightest. Jealousy isn't my thing." She didn't have those kind of feelings for Tatsuya, and even though they had told Aria that, she didn't really seem to understand they had a big-brother-little-sister sort of relationship. But maybe it was just because she was so young.
-We keep talking about me, but what about you, Ave? Aria said you were popular... maybe you have some admirators and you still haven't told me about it? I would ask you too, Aria, but... you're only thirteen! -
AJ blinked and stuttered. "Uhm, what? No...I mean I don't think I have any...and if e-even if I did, I-I have to study and such." It seemed Tatsuya had gotten her again. Patch was laughing under the table and she growled, placing a flat palm against his mouth.
She blinked and looked up, sighing when she saw the waitress approaching the table with their respective orders.

"Bitter things won't be sweet unless you add sugar to it," Aria shot back at Tatsuya, grinning a bit. "Careful with bitter things, though. Too much bitter things would make your sweet sense goes awry. Too much sweet stuffs too would make you intolerant to bitter stuffs and would greatly magnifies your sweet tolerance... but then again, things would be less sweeter that way, don't you think?"
The girl smiled happily at her sempai who's glad that she can loosen up. She really does enjoy meeting with them. "It's thanks to you two, honestly. Actually, I'm much more comfortable around strangers who doesn't know me at all... but in school, please, keep this a secret, alright, sempai? Also, I'm sorry, we might not be able to talk as freely there... My parents often... keep tabs on me. To them, nobody is good enough for me. If I want to make a friend, it's almost like they need to be the president or the prince of Japan," sarcasm obvious in her voice, Aria looked to the side, still upset toward her parents. She returned right in time when both party laughing.
"I know, I'm just messing with you two... also, about... being popular, huh?" the black haired girl sighed before pulling out five love letters.
"...Is it still the time and age for something like this? I found it rather bothersome to reject them again, again and again."

The dark-brown haired teen smiled when Aria said that she was much more comfortable around strangers who didn't know her at all. -Oh, so you mean we are strangers for you? Aria, you're hurting my feelings, you know -the oldest of the Kazan siblings jokingly stated as
Tatsuya smirked yet again when Avery said that he was definitely a ladies man. He leaned back again in a relaxed way: he felt really comfortable around the italian teenager and Aria. -I can't say I don't have fun flirting with girls, because then I'd be lying. Specially shy girls! Those are the best out there... when you manage to get them out of their shell, even if only for a night, it's always better, 'cause that way I know I got 'em to feel comfortable around other people -he revealed, and then shot the question about Avery's popularity with boys.
Uhm, what? No...I mean I don't think I have any...and if e-even if I did, I-I have to study and such -she said in a very flustered way, making the teenager look at her with mischief and playfulness drawn on his indigo orbs. As a half-grin formed on his lips, he teased her a little more. -Oh, really? Are you sure there isn't any guy in your school you're interested in? Transfer students usually get a lot of attention! -the eighteen year old said, obviously enjoying himself: he found Avery's embarrassment amusing. -I wonder how Patch would handle those guys if they were to come close, though! He didn't attack me when we first met, so I suppose it's a good sign.
Either way, when Aria pulled out five love letters from her backpack, she whined about how troublesome it was to reject them over and over again. The male teen let out a whistle, and addressed the thirteen year old girl yet again. -Whoa, Aria, you sure are popular, huh? Well, I'm not surprised... guys usually like whatever they feel is out of their reach. Dunno why, so don't ask me, but we seem to work that way! Gotta say, though, I think love letters are specially popular in Japan; I seen them just once or twice in western countries -Tatsuya finished as their drinks were brought by the same waitress.
Looking at her with a half-grin, he thanked her while fixing his blue orbs on hers, with her letting a small chuckle. When she left, however, his attention returned to Dorimon, who was able to interact with everyone too. -Bwah! I thwought I was gowing to dwie thewe! By the way, Avewy, have you explowed a lot of the Digital Wowld? -the purple furball asked, wagging it's tail as it munched on the muffin Tatsuya had bought him while letting a "Mmmh" sound as his eyes closed happily.

They've all got the same heartbeat, but her's is falling behind. AJ sipped her coffee. While Aria was speaking about sweet and bitter things, she was contemplating that her coffee was actually the right mix of both elements. Giving a quick glance around, she deducted that no one was really close enough to notice or was watching them, so she pinched off bits of sashimi and fed it to Patch. She winced once when the little in-training nipped at her fingers and began demanding, "More!"
She flicked his tail playfully and he responded by wrapping it around her wrist. In between her bites to him, she would eat a bit of her blueberry muffin. The ebony-haired teens smiled when Tatsuya began teasing the younger girl about them being "strangers." But if you thought about it, maybe it did make sense that she was a bit more at ease around them. Since she didn't really know them.
When Aria pulled out five love letters, the older girl choked a bit and blinked. "Wow, you've got quite the admirers, but that's good. You're a very pretty girl."
And then when she thought she had redirected Tatsuya away from the subject of her own status at school, she narrowed her eyes sideways at the Kazan. "I still don't know what you're talking about," she said, trying to hide her smirk. "Maybe they do come around, maybe they don't."
In response to Tatsuya's question about Patch, the cat-like Digimon decided to take it upon himself to answer. "I'll take 'em on! Claw out their eyes!"
AJ rolled her eyes and finished feeding him some more sashimi, stuffing it into his mouth so he couldn't talk anymore.
-Bwah! I thwought I was gowing to dwie thewe! By the way, Avewy, have you explowed a lot of the Digital Wowld? -
Avery slid her arms behind her head and reclined in the booth. "We've explored a bit. We've been in the forest and to the beach part. As well as Terminus. How about you guys?"

"What? Oh, that? Well, Avery-sempai is no longer a stranger because she's my sempai, but still, Tatsuya-niisan, unless you become my brother, you're still a stranger," Aria shot back, grinning ear to ear. "Still, playing with shy girls? You big sadistic tease... they gonna be really in big trouble, you know? Also, Avery-sempai should stop being modest. I can't even count those guys in my class who admires her," Aria joked, grinning slightly at the Italian, teasing tone obvious on her voice.
Aria feed Noir the Pafumon her portion of sandwich, which the Digimon happily receive. Aria glanced Tatsuya through one open eyes when he commented about her popularity status, making her smile slightly.
"The thing is, I preferred if they come to me directly and say their mind out loud. It's more impressive then going through love letters like that... I have no idea why it's popular, but if you ask me, western style is more of my style. Go straight to your beloved and proclaims your love! ... sounds like I'm forcing it too much, but honestly, my type is the manly guys... also, if you got love letters, does that means you're quite something so high that seem really admired?"

Tatsuya couldn't help but to smirk when Aria told him that Avery wasn't any stranger anymore, since she was her sempai, but he would be unless he became her brother. With a playful look in his eyes, he tilted his head towards the Italian Tamer as he spoke with the same spark in his indigo eyes. -Heh, I think the little sister spot has been taken by Ave! -he said, his gaze hovering on the Cipriano. The Kazan pondered the idea of how things would've been should Ryuu had been born a girl. A lot different, that was for sure, but he was happy regardless.
He didn't pay that much of attention at Aria's comment about those guys first, but when she mentioned that her type would be those guys who were brave enough to face her and speak their feelings without hestitating, the image of a certain white haired teen came to his mind. -D'oh, that's too bad! If you liked guys like that you'd definitely love to meet my brother... too bad he's in Jamaica for now. He never hides anything from anyone, and he's usually a lot more serious than me, at least 'till you earn his trust, then he's also a tease. Think I played a big role in that one though -he said, sipping the bitter coffee.
As Avery answered his teasing words with a serious face, the teen could discern the mischief in her gray-blue eyes, however Patch was quickly to add something himself, so the young man stopped his tease and focused on the cat-like creature that was AJ's partner. -Whoa, dude, they're definitely going to have a rough time around her with you around! Well, I guess that's legit, being partners and all!
Say, Dorimon, would you do the same if I were in that situation? -the teen asked with a laugh, his partner shooting him a cold glare. -And why would I do thwat, exactly? Ywou'd love it, wouldn't you? -the In-Training said, his partner chuckling. -Guess I would... but you could at least show some care, damn it -he teased the purple furball.
We've explored a bit. We've been in the forest and to the beach part. As well as Terminus. How about you guys?
The teen scratched the back of his head as he tried to recall every single place. -Well, we've been around Terminus, we've explored the Eastern Timberlands a lot, we've been in the Valley of Dragons... Oh, and Whitewater City. Damn that place was nice, I could go on vacation next weekend! -he joked, wondering if something like surf had been concieved in the Digital World.

They've all got the same heartbeat, but her's is falling behind. AJ's eyes lit up when Aria said that she did not considered the Italian teen a stranger. She smiled at the younger girl. "Thank you Aria. I know sempai means older, but you don't have to call me that if you feel comfortable with that. I feel it's like you're adding Miss to my name," she said, laughing as she rubbed the back of her head. "I'm glad we can be considered friends."
AJ tilted her head back even more and laughed when Aria said she did still considered Tatsuya a stranger, unless of course, he became like an older brother.
-Heh, I think the little sister spot has been taken by Ave! -
The Cipriano's cheeks darkened in a blush and she blinked. "Oh, thanks Tats. But I think you can still have two younger sisters," she said, grinning broadly.
Her eyes darkened slightly when Tatsuya mentioned vacationing in Whitewater. "It...was destroyed by Sandrimon. It was so beautiful too."

"Che, at first you're saying that the spot is taken, and now you're promoting your little brother to me? Make up your mind already! Are you implying that we should date and I'll be your sister that way and probably even get married on the end? You're such a schemer, Tatsuya-niisan," Aria faked an offended tone, akin to a pissed off yankee. Even her sitting demeanor changed as such, but she quickly laughed and returned to her former position.
Hearing AJ seem to have a problem with how she addressed her, Aria just shrugged. "Japanese honorific system is rather weird isn't it? You guys doesn't go around calling peoples 'sempai' even in school, right? The equivalent would be 'senior' and calling you something like 'Avery-senior' doesn't sound that nice either... I guess that's just how we easterners do. Comparing English to Japanese, Japanese sure have a lot of polite words ranging from how you talk to the emperor to how you talk to your friends and peers."
At the mention of a place destroyed, Aria sort of felt like she's being left out because of something...

Tatsuya met Avery's smile as he made her blush by calling her his "little sister", the girl thanking her afterwards. -No need to, Ave! And yeah, I don't see why I can't have two... -he said, tilting his head towards Aria with the same grin on his lips. Then, the latter faked an offended tone as she spoke about what he had previously said concerning Ryuu, his younger sibling.
-Che, at first you're saying that the spot is taken, and now you're promoting your little brother to me? Make up your mind already! Are you implying that we should date and I'll be your sister that way and probably even get married on the end? You're such a schemer, Tatsuya-niisan -the girl pouted, making Tatsuya laugh. -Not a chance, I've never been into playing the match-maker. Things tend to get reeeeeally wierd when stuff like that happens, so I rather not force anyone into another's private life... unless it's for teasing purposes -he finished with a mischievous tocuh in his gaze.
Everything changed, however, when Avery said that WhiteWater had been destroyed by Sandiramon, another of the Devas. Immediately, the boy gawked, then punched the table, albeit containing himself, for he didn't want to get into trouble with the café owners. How could they let that happen...? He thought that the outbreak had finished in Terminus when they took care of Kumbhiramon... yet it seemed that they were far from being right.
-Darn... How could them?! WhiteWater is one of the most populated cities... Just how many Digimon have died to those Deva?! -he muttered, Dorimon's expression becoming unraged. -It's what I swaid... the stwong ones do what they want with the weak ones... But they awe going to wegwet evewy single life they've taken away! -the little Digimon said, furious.
Realizing his outburst, the teen scratched the back of his head, and sighed. -Uh, sorry... Didn't mean to snap. Well, that means we'll have to become much stronger, right? Hey, what about this? When this Deva issue is dealt with, we could go to the Southern Tropics in vacation, all of us together. How does that sound?
