The Lost Civilization [1/?] Rewards for me: Bits Rewards for Yuuki: Posts
[ENTER]
A Motorcycle was running fast through the deserts. It was red motorcycle, modeled after a cheetah, with the head. Each time it ran, it left the trails from the tires. The motorcycle headed towards an ancient ruins of some sort. But not there, it was a... pyramid?
The motorcycle stopped in front of the pyramid, and the rider dismounted from it. The Rider was a woman in half-waist length leather jacket over a blue and orange sports bra, which fitting her large bust, exposing her waist and muscular, six-packed abs. She also wore the blue jeans, and black leather sneakers. She removed her helmet to reveal her red hair and the beautifully handsome face... somewhat. She lifted the goggles onto her head, to reveal her upbeat-looking, brilliant amber eyes.
Coming along with woman was a Dragon man Digimon of some sort, with rocket arms, and shuttle-like wings. He wore space suits, and space shuttle-like mask. He was confirmed as AstroGreymon, the Space Dragon Man Digimon, Mega Level. Also, there was an Angewomon in brownish yellow safari outfit, with very, very short hot pants that exposed all of her thighs, and the shirt had short sleeves, with the middle... showing a cleavage from her large bust. Though, she wore the leather boots covering everything under her knee. There was also a Renamon in similar safari outfit, but less revealing than the Angewomon wore, with longer pants.
Those were a duo Ryoko Satsuma and Ryusei, along with their mercenaries, Nadeshiko and Yuuki.
They were here to do jobs assigned to them: To recover ancient relics in the ruins. Of course, it would be thrilling one, as there was rumor about mummies and such. But for those group, nothing could scare them. They were daredevils, or at least they tried to be. To hear that the relic worth hefty sum of bits, most of them were excited, especially Nadeshiko. She wanted money just to... spend time together with her girl-crush.
Alright, now there was no time to waste. They had to do this now or never. So, they proceeded to enter into the ancient ruins of the pyramid, to grab the antiques. Nadeshiko was a bit scared, so she clinged on Ryoko's arm. "Wuzzap, Nana-chan?" Ryoko grumbled. "I heard there's mummies here, right? So... I have to stay close with you in case something happens... Right, Anata?" Nadeshiko the Angewomon answered, referring Ryoko with "Anata", a word that is usually referred as affectionate nickname from a couple to each other, but more commonly used to refer as second person in Japanese. Nadeshiko called the busty tomboy with such affectionate nickname to her love, much to Ryoko's chagrin. "Oh, pleez." Ryoko deadpanned. "I wonder when Nee-chan n Nana-chan 'r kissy-kissy... I thufft she already had Sky-chan." Ryusei whispered to Yuuki. "I think so." Yuuki the Renamon nodded.

Is it wrong wanting to be stronger? Is it wrong to have a faith? Is it wrong to push the limit simply because you believe, and nothing else? Those thoughts keep haunting Yuuki from the last time of his trial. His partner got the short end of the stick, and the rest, while they seem to not have any sort of memories of what happened (to his belief)... well, it's not something nice to talk about. Even so, he got his second Digimental from that and it's honestly the most tiresome event ever. Currently, above Dorugamon, Yuuki is looking for something so fundamental. What would it be? It's called... power obviously.
He have no idea since when he's like this, but... there's just a strong urge of trying to be strong. He's not like Ryouta who clearly have a goal... he's simply training to be strong, and somehow is without a goal... Probably that's why he's so far behind? The dark brown haired boy looked very distressed until his partner suddenly poked his cheek with his wings. The beast dragon grinned wryly at his partner's obvious dark mood.
"Yo, Yuuki! Why the glum face, partner? Why don't you cheer up for once? You know it won't be hurt to cheer up a bit! Even Karin-chan is worried about you, you know? Karin-chan give the best idea, too... your father is a history teacher, right? So do you know a lot about ancient civilization?"
"Yeah, but he told me that he's not really one. He said he's just a history lover who loves to bring me to museum to tell me lot of great tales of past heroes or stuffs like that... me and my brother, actually. He's that kind of guy. Stuffs like history is good and all, but archeology is not my stuffs, alright? So it's useless to try to ask me to get hyped over it. I'm just a normal guy, not Indianna Jones."
"I see, well, cheer up, pal! We're here for gettin' stronger, right? Doing jobs sounds like it can help you too! So let's get to it! Speaking of which, I sensed someone down there..."
"...Looks really powerful, too... if they happened to be rival, then..."
"Might won't be able to beat them, yeah... but I guess there's no harm trying... I'll talk to them!"
"He-hey!"
The beast dragon Digimon landed far enough from the team, but to assure them he means no harm, Dorugamon waved his wings.
"Hey there everyone! Mind if I ask what are you doing?"
Goofy and overall very open, his partner is just like that... Yuuki facepalmed, hoping that they won't take their appearance as a threat. He'd really hate to fight here, especially since his Digimental somehow won't answer him for the second time after that fight.

As the group entered the ancient ruins site, or more correctly at the pyramid, A Dorugamon came to greet them. He was cheeky, indeed. But such chumminess was also shared by Ryoko and Ryusei as well. So, why don't get along? Ryoko shoved her shoulder to tell Nadeshiko to get off from her clinging, so she could turn to the Dorugamon.
"Yo thar!" Ryoko greeted the Dorugamon. "We're gonna explore da ruins 'n take sum treasures thar. So, wuzzap?"
And then there's a boy. Looks like he had come with that Dorugamon. Okay, that was interesting, now the more, the merrier. Maybe he could go with them, somehow? Plus, they needed a friend to explore the ruins.
"Ya wanna join us, I gez? Might be help for ya all. Oh, by da way, I'm Ryoko Satsuma." Ryoko offered her help before introducing herself, offering her hand to shake. "'N here's ma friends." "Yo! I'm Ryusei! Nice ta meetcha!" Ryusei the AstroGreymon introduced himself. "And I'm Yuuki! Nice to meet you all!" Yuuki the Renamon in safari outfit introduced. "And I'm Nadeshiko! I'm Ryo-chan's lover~!" the Angewomon in slightly revealing safari outfit introduced herself cheekily. "Not yet, Nana-chan, not yet." Ryoko corrected. "Or at least soon to be."
After the brief introduction, the superstar tomboy sensed something. This feeling, could it be... Zodiac XII? No way! Another Zodiac XII at time like this? Just how many of them she had to deal in random places, really? Ryoko then looked up, and she saw something.
It was large, bird-like Digimon with the scale on its wings. He had a pair of arms, although his body posture is more into bird than humanoid. He had starline-like pattern of dots and lines on his body, following Libra constellation mapping. The orb was located on his right chest. He wore mask with three-layered horn-like ornament, and his third eye, Eye of Laplace is on his forehead. He also bears scale plate on his wings, connected with shafts along his wingspan to scale body on his back. He has long tail with three chains running along the tail and hanging at the end. His scale's middle shaft has a relief of Libra astrological sign.
Ryoko knew this guy. He was Libramon, one of Zodiac XII member she had fought in Altair Dome. A scurvy money-minded bird brain. He's not like Ankh who is power-hungry, but that guy was... a materialistic crook. Now Ryoko had to prepare herself in case she had to fight him again.

And it looks like they doesn't mind him! Score! Dorugamon grinned friendly at the group of four. Honestly, though, it's so nice to meet nice guys like this. Tatsuya is a nice guy, Mana is a nice girl... meeting those kind of peoples makes Dorugamon really happy. They're kindest of the bunch and honestly, being really chummy like this to strangers is something trivial to him, something that shouldn't be cared about... It's crucial to be interacting with everyone, and that's a fact.
Dorugamon nodded at the invitation. "We're here for the same thing, actually. A professor basically hired us to get the artifact and we're kinda here to get that. Maybe we can get the artifact together and give it to the prof? Not bad deal, don'tcha think? I dunno how much my help would be appreciated that you actually have three Digimons with you, tho, girlie. Anyway, I'm Dorugamon, nice t'metcha."
And so, he waited for the others to introduced themselves, with the busty gal seem to offered a handshake with him (or maybe his partner?) but somehow, Yuuki is oddly silent, so Dorugamon took it to himself to walk up to the busty orange and offered a paw for shake... His paw is a bit odd, though, with curly claws like that... so he made sure to not harm her.
"Nice t'metcha, Ryoko-chan! Heh, heard that, Yuuki? Another Yuuki! Renamon, too! And she's a female, BWAHAHAHA!! Eheheeh, honestly, same name but really different appearance and all! Now we should call you Humon to differentiate yourself with that one Yuuki eh? Bwahahahaa...ahehehehe... eh? Yuuki? What's wrong? Did you got too offended? Hey man, I'm just joking! Yuuuuuuukiiiiii?"
"...No...way."
"Huh? What's up?"
"THAT'S SATSUMA RYOKO, YOU FOOL! A SUPERSTAR! W-WHAT IS SHE DOING HERE IN MIDDLE OF DIGITAL WORLD!?"
"Haaa? First, she can hear you, second, is it really that surprising?"
"Well of course it is! First, if you find a world famous idol in front of you, which is actually a tamer, with a Mega Digimon at it, too, what would be your reaction, you big buffoon? Of course you'll be amazed and think that 'this world is so small' or something! Honestly, you even ever saw her on some commercials! Here you have no idea who she is?"
"Not my fault I'm not interested in any commercials beside for foods!"
Yuuki facepalmed. "...Itou Yuuki, pleasure to meet you, Satsuma-san," he introduced himself. However, it's seem that Ryoko was focused on something else. Yuuki also looked to where she's looking and found a Digimon on the sky above... And somehow it felt like it spelled trouble... Yuuki doesn't like where this is going. Dorugamon is still a champion. Going above is totally out of the question... and his Digimental refused to answer him too...

Some after the brief introduction, Libramon then descended, before finally landing on them. Ryoko backed up a bit, frowning at the bird-like Herald of Libra. If he was about to pick a fight, then prepare to give him the most hostile treatment. However, he seemed not to be hostile at all. Knowing him, the redhead tomboy already predicted what else was he after, if not for fight.
"Y' again! 'R ya gonna pick a fite with me or wut?!" Ryoko retorted at the black bird. "Whoa there, gal! Relax! I'm not here to fight, but rather..." Libramon said. "To snatch a treasure from dat pyramid, rite? Considerin' yo infatuation to shiny things n munny, it's no surprise at all." She remarked. "Like I said, I'm not here for fight. I'm here to take the treasures for myself. Not all of them, so you can have some." "I dunno wut 'r ya up to, but we're watchin' ya." Ryusei warned.
Looks like the situation became tense. Libramon wasn't here to fight or to "Recover" his "boss" residing in Ryoko's body, but for money business. Considering he was materialistic among Zodiac XII members, that made sense. Plus, Ryoko and the group were so suspicious about this Libra guy... and looked over him in case he broke his words.
"Fine then! Ya can come with us. But remember, dun do anything funny, or even try to betray us. If ya do we're gonna kick yo' cloaca, okay?! Plus, if ya said dat we can have sum of da treasures, then let us have 'em. Dun ever try to lie, 'n give us fair share." Ryoko told the Herald of Libra.
Libramon then put his finger on his lower beak, and then an idea came up in his mind. About the fair share, perhaps? "Fair share? Okay then. How about 90-10?" Libramon offered. "50-50!" "80-20?" "60-40!" After some pausing, Ryoko and Libramon glared to each other... while thinking what kind of fair share they would agree to deal with. Libramon wanted to have the shares for himself, while Ryoko wanted to have the treasures just enough to accomplish the job. But who could guess that they thought same way?
"30-70!"
Damn. They just said it even in the same way, much to Ryoko's chagrin. So basically, they said it in unison... and looks like Libramon had come with an agreement, in his own way. He used that coincidence as his "weapon" to heckle the busty tomboy to agree with his offerings. Now Ryoko was trapped, thanks to that money-minded bird.

And so the Digimon descended. Looking at the status after scanning him, Yuuki winced. This is even in higher level than Kumbhiramon. Not to mention, Dorugamon cannot go Dorugreymon at will yet... and here Ryouta's Dracomon can go into Wingdramon that easily!? Give him a break! Unconsciously, Yuuki's hands balled into fists. Honestly, last time he only can see his partner got caged inside some strange prison and got stripped from all his power... who can bear to see that!?
"Yuuki, chill. That bird ain't come for a fight, although he's seem quite the greedy brain. Kind of like a crow, don't you think? For all that's holy, I just hope he won't have any nest made of gold... imagining it, I felt like I'm about to drool at how much steaks I can buy with those money..."
His partner aside, this Digimon felt so much like a raven, like what his partner said, honestly. He really have no idea if it's wise to be with this guy with liking of treasure. Many treasure hunting movies ended up with the greedy one betraying the rest of the team. And also, this guy saying something like 90-10... made him rather pissed off. What is this? Some extortion? Yuuki stared as the scene in front of him unfolds.
...And it's seem that Ryoko is on the losing side because a slip of tongue, or the bird brain really want to have it that way. Begrudgingly, Yuuki wondered if that 30 would means something along the line of 15-15 for both him and Ryoko or something like measly 5-5-5-5-10 (he counted himself and Dorugamon as duo). It's actually not really favorable, but even if they try to win from this dang bird brain, they won't have any chance to win.
...I wonder if Karin's personality is rubbing into me.
Yeah, he's starting to be a lot more snappy. That's not a good sign, not at all. The dark brown haired boy waited for the verdict coming from the two party. He honestly will just follow. He's not the one with Mega anyway... Little did he know, probably this will be a small beginning toward an event that would seals their fate.

Alright, he got them. Ryoko lost the bargain, and Libramon got the 70% for himself. The redhead could only grimace at the bird brain, that he managed to trick her into saying such the measly deal. Wow, it reminded her to a scene in Kamen Rider OOO where Kougami propsed a deal with Ankh about Cell Medal share, in which, after some debate, Ankh finally agreed on getting 40% of the share, while Kougami got the rest. Oh no, don't.
"Oh, so finally you agreed on getting 30% of the share, eh? Fine then-" "NO! I dun mean dat! Ma tongue's juz slipped, juz dat! I want 40-60, actualleh!" Ryoko interrupted the Libramon. "A-hahaha! Really? I thought you agreed with 30-70!" Libramon laughed amused. "I said, ma tongue's slipped! Ya get da majority of da share is juz too much!" Ryoko explained frantically. "Okay, okay! I believe you. So we're deal at 60-40, okay? Don't ever change or deny the deal again, because it's you're the ones who proposed it in the first place~" Libramon teased. "Oh shaddup!"
After hearing Ryoko's snap, Nadeshiko clinged on her arm again, trying to calm her down. However, it was far from making the hot-headed tomboy from calming down, but it annoyed her more. Libramon snickered, seeing at this funny scene. A slightly scantily dressed Angewomon fell in love with a sexy human girl. A lesbian couple. That would be very interesting, and adorable, indeed.
"I think Aqua-chan may like this." Libramn remarked. "Huh??" Ryoko gawked, dumbfounded. "You see, Aquariumon is one of my friend. So yeah, she's one of us. She likes to see girl-on-girl action too, and guess what? She's secretly crushing on you."
Ryoko facepalmed upon this information. So she was crushed by several girls (and a boy), huh? Maybe it could be said that Ryoko was a lesbian or bisexual, but having several people crushing on her was a bit... too much. First was Nadeshiko, and then Skylar, and Hideki, and finally, Aquariumon chick? Man, life didn't get her away from those girls, didn't she? And the good thing was, Mana was only her fangirl, and she already got Skylar. Oh, guess she had to make a harem soon. Oh, what are we talking about?
"Oh, juz kill me alreadeh." Ryoko muttered. "Dun worreh. Y'still have Skylar after all." Ryusei assured. "Oh, and what about me?" Nadeshiko asked as she hugged Ryoko's arm and rested her head on the tomboy's slightly broad shoulder. "Alrite, alrite. Y're counted too." Ryoko sighed, saying in half-assedness. "Yay~!" "Okay, so no wastin' time, kay? Let's juz go into da ruins n get wut's inside." Ryoko told the group (plus an unexpected ally) to begin the hunt.
So, Ryoko and the group entered the pyramid. Now with the group expanded, they could probably have advantage over the adversaries. Not to mention what Libramon could do to probably ease the hunt. Ryoko wasn't aware of that, yet, she was sure that they could make use of Libramon's abilities to make the hunt easier. And here it goes.
(OOC: Part 1 ends here. I'd like to get 3000 Bits, plz :3 )

Looks like it's redeemable and that the bird brain is content enough with 40-60, although Yuuki himself isn't really content. He preferred something like 50-50 honestly. Still, something like 20-20 toward Yuuki is far more preferrable than something like 15-15 or something less than that, like 5-5-5-5-10, so the boy want it or not agreed to that deal (although it's not really his call). The dark brown haired boy climbed up on Dorugamon again, making sure to use keep him in champion state for the rest of this journey... it'll be best like that.
A little bit fanservicy scene from the Angewomon and the superstar (Yuuki have no idea that the superstar would swing that way, but eh, he's no one to judge. Still, the bird brain's information is kinda TMI, so he wished that they could just get this over with honestly. He's not sure if he can stay sane with flirty couple around (well, he guessed this is karma for teasing Karin too much or even spending more time as a couple, but he thought it's just an upgrade from their relationship, nothing much changed).
Being a star is such a hassle. Now he just really hoped that Karin wouldn't do something like being an actress (and guess what? He's wrong. She's already in Tokusatsu show, and he have no idea about it... not that Karin would tell anyway, because she's so going to kill those who told him if she know it)... he'd have to use a judo move on those guys who dared to lay hand on his girlfriend.... wait, wait, overprotective tendency much?
"Heh heh heh, so Ryocchan and Harem, eh? Not bad, nod bad... You got yourself lots of fans and you even got yourself number of private admirers at it? Speakin' of which, Ryocchan, are ya an acquaintance with this gold-loving guy here? Who is he 'nyway?"
"...Dorumon, read the mood."
"I am reading it. Right now, it's still a friendly situation. It's better to know someone than to ignore them just like that. All that I needed are proof of common trust, see? That's all I need to know. It's not like he'll be in a difficulty facing a Champion, right? That's just how the logic works. 'nyway, let's just go!"

The Lost Cvilization [2/?] Rewards for me: Bits Rewards for Yuuki: Posts
Alright, so here they were, inside the pyramid. There, it was dark, so lightings were needed. Ryusei activated his head-mounted camera unit to activate night vision mode, while Ryoko took a flare from the entrance wall. There was an ominous vibe inside... Just entering it already gave this feeling. But luckily, someone managed to lighten up the mood. Dorugamon asked if Libramon was the friend of hers. The answer should be obvious, though. "Yeah, ya can say he's ma acquintance, but not in good way." Ryoko answered. "I mean, I've fought him for da first time in Altair Dome near Everfalls, 'n he's realleh tricky. He's one of da Zodiac XII guys I've to fite to prevent Cosmic Empress form executin' her plan. Speakin' of gold, his turf is actually MADE, OF, GOLD. Wow. He's realleh flamboyant guy."Ryoko and the gang then walked further into the pyramid. There, Ryoko found a painting on the walls. The picture of ancient history, hieroglyphs, reliefs, and whatnots. They were painted beautifully, like the ones in Ancient Egypt. However, the group didn't notice the eye on a painting of a human rolled towards them. Now talking about it, they had heard the rumors about this place. That this place was cursed. What kind of curse and what would cause them was certainly something they wanted to know, but some of them would rather to stay quiet about it. Who wanted to get cursed, anyway? Nevertheless, they had to be careful, especially the ominous vibe that this place gave already stuck in Nadeshiko, making her to cling onto Ryoko's arm tighter. "Ryo-chan... I'm scared..." Nadeshiko muttered with almost whimpering tone while hugging Ryoko's muscular arm. Sure, they were slim, but they also had some volume and hardness from muscles. "Sssh. Juz go on, will ya?" Ryoko hushed as the group went further. Libramon then saw something from his third eye, Eye of Laplace. He could see ominous presences from around the pyramid. Looks like they were the cause of the ominous feeling. And that made him to be steady in case if something happened. "Be careful! Looks like there's traps to be laid around." Libramon warned.

Insides of pyramid. Perfect. He really doesn't like how this sound, at all. He mainly has learned quite number of stuffs from his father about pyramids... curses, traps and whatnots... Tomb that discourages all sort of graverobbers to come near... there's even lot of traps. Not to mention, in this place, the curse is as real as it can get. What would be inside? In Terminus, he ever saw some Mummymons, and honestly, he's not happy if he have to fight such a 'mon here... ultimate with gun like that bothers him a dang lot.
"Figured sooo~~ Not in a good relationship eh? Well, that aside... what is Cosmic Empress anyway? Sounds like some badass queen from a tokusatsu show. Also... what, turf made of gold? Just how rich this guy is!? And he still want more!? What's the deal with all the greed!? He's not supposed to be some Zodiac-whateva group but some part of seven deadly sin or something!"
Yuuki activated his flashlight and aimed it at the murals on the wall. Not good. He's not expert at hieroglyphs. It's not his father's field of expertise either, hence it'll be hard to understand what's written on the wall... also, he's no Indiana Jones. His partner just forced that kind of image into him, so he's nothing other than guy who have quite some amount of historical knowledge... But most of it are Japanese.
"...OK, first thing first... I'm simply useless in historical stuffs concerning traps and whatnots, alright? This is not real world, this is digital world. The gimmicks here would be much more better than in the real world! That means extra danger for us! Don't put such a burden on me, dangit!" the brown haired boy told his partner before he could say anything. Dorugamon 'tsk'd, disappointed that his expectation missed the target.
"Still, can't you at least tell me a bit about curses of the pyramids? You know some at it, at least, right?"
"Yeah, some of it... the archeologist that dug out a certain pharaoh grave basically dug their own at the same time... just the difference, they unearthed it, they goes inside of the grave. So I'm not really liking it... we might need more than just some angel to bless us, Dorugamon. Most likely we'll need an Anubimon instead or something like Halsemon, but then again..."
"...I'm regretting that I've asked that..."
"Serves you right. Also, traps are normal... so... my suggestion is watch where you step."

And then here was it. Dorugamon the Foxy asked about Cosmic Empress. Ryoko would answer, but Libramon already had a good answer first, considering he was one of Zodiac XII member, so he knew the Empress inside out. "Well, Cosmic Empress is an Empress of Cosmo Jerusalem, the once great empire with vast knowledge of astronomy. However, after that catastrophe named "Supernova Breakdown", we were hibernated inside the meteor, and Her Majesty lost her body. We arrived at the Digital Earth for the second time during that experiment or whatnots... to retrieve her body back. And Cosmic Empress currently resides inside this redhead hottie's body, and she's on the dormant side. That's why we're here, to make sure our plan going well. Oh, and I live in Altair Dome, until these guys barged in and made me blow up the place while I escaped. I didn't think they would survive." Libramon answered. "Y'juz spoiled it, goldbrain. Great." Ryoko deadpanned. "'N ya almost killed us back then."
Yuuki the Renamon then looked at the eye on the mural. The eye then glowed red while she noticed that the eye now looking at them. However, Libramon realized that it was something that would trigger something dangerous. "Wait, Fox-girl! Don't look at the eye!" Libramon warned. However, it was too late.
The eye shot laser at Yuuki, which she evaded as soon as it fired. Looks like there were indeed traps after all. Seeing this, Ryoko, Ryusei, and Yuuki the Renamon became awry, while Nadeshiko became even more scared. They had to raise their guard if they didn't want to be killed. One mistake could lead into a demise.
However, that wasn't it. All the eyes on the mural gazed at the group, glowing red. Knowing this, the Herald of Libra knew what he had to do. Illusion was his forte, but it could only work on living targets. So, he had no choice but to destroy them, or at least dodge them. It wasn't like destroying one of the eyes could trigger another trap, after all.
"Unbreakable Fulcrum!" Libramon shouted as he fired beam from his third eye at one of the eyes. As it get damaged, the other eyes shot the lasers at the group, but Ryusei detached his Shuttle Wing to have it shielding them from the lasers. After deflecting some lasers, Ryusei flew to one of the eyes, using his Rocket Modules to pierce the eye, impairing it. While Nadeshiko was a bit shaky from her fear, she aimed the energy arrow at one of the eyes, and shot it. Yuuki and her satellite-like plush doll Hayabusa-Kun also helped to neutralize the eye-lasers by storming them with Diamond Storms and Hayabusa-Kun's eye-lasers. As the group continued, they were destroying the eye-lasers to prevent them from firing again.
"Golden Meteor!" Libramon shouted as he summoned flaming golden chunks around his wings before propelling them to the eye-lasers. He then propelled some more to them until all of them impaired. Soon, after the eye-lasers were impaired, the group could breath easy. Glad to have a powerful ally on the group, after all. "Phew, it was so close." Ryusei sighed in relief. "I gez I hate to say 'tis, but thanks." Ryoko said to the Libra Herald. "Ok, you're welcome, cute lady." Libramon replied.

It's clear that they're not in such a good relationship... heck, in fact, they're in really bad relationship? So this guy seemed to be a bad guy for Ryoko and co., but as currently there are no opposition to him joining the party currently, so all that Yuuki hoped is that they're going to be fine until the end... it'd be really ugly if they got into fight in such a place, anyway... Also, that turf got exploded so that means he's penniless more or less (tho counted by his standard)? It felt rather... unbelievable. So basically, if they're going to hunt for more golds, they just have to haggle again with this guy... purrrrfect.
However, Yuuki noticed something. One of the other team seem to stare straight at the mural... on the eye. What's that ey--- Oh shi--! The eye just shot a laser at them! Quickly, Yuuki degenerated Dorugamon back to Dorumon. They cannot go on like this! If there's something that any of them can do, it's of course just one. Yuuki flipped open his D-Terminal. If they reflect the light, then obviously the laser would not harm them!
"DIGIMENTAL UP!!" he declared, summoning his first Digimental, the one that used to access Dorumon's Armor Champion. The Digimental shot directly to his digivice with a white-purple light, before floating to Dorumon. As if contained within sphere of darkness, Dorumon began to spin inside with the Digimental ready.
"Dorumon, Armor shinka!!"
Immediately after the declaration, the Digimon and the strange egg-like object merged into one, letting out colorful light rings around Dorumon which ascended upward. Dorugamon, Dorugreymon and finally an unknown silhouette flashed inside his head as slowly his form began to change inside the light. Soon, his helmeted head shows itself first, followed by the wings and finally his whole self.
"Kagayaku Shinkou... Canisdramon!!"
Immediately, Canisdramon shielded Yuuki with his body and activated his move that made him invisible. If he do this then... as he thought, the laser reflected and doesn't hit him at all. Canisdramon summoned his buffing skill that made three crystals appear. Quickly, the wolf Digimon let out his signature move, shooting small Radiant Howl that passed through all three crystals, letting out six missile-like projectile that chased the leftover eyes that the other has yet to hit.
Yuuki rides his Digimon, who keep maintaining his vanishing state. The only clue of their presence is the two LED-like light dot that came out from Canisdramon's Canis Gladius' tip. As they moved forward, it's clear that the Zodiac Digimon is the one that done all the work... maybe having him around is good afterall? Yet he can't shake off the feeling of wanting to get out of here as fast as he can. Canisdramon turned off his Vanish and finally appeared normally, his LED-like dots also vanished.
"That was dang close one..." the lupine Digimon commented.

Alright. With Dorumon turned into Canisdramon, this would be the safe case for exploring. They had to be in the highest form as possible, so dealing with adversaries were much easier. Now with all optic lasers dealt with, the group could continue their search. However, they had to peel their eyes open in case there were traps around again. Though, fortunately they had Libramon to warn them about the trap, but they couldn't rely on him too much, due to the possibility of him betraying.
"So, we owe ya dat one. But dun think too highly bout dat, cuz we're still keepin' an eye on ya." Ryoko warned. "Well, no need to thank me. I just don't wanna lose my boss, that's all." Libramon responded. "Rememba dat y're still under our "custody". Betray us, I'll kill ya." Ryusei threatened. "Whoa, whoa, whoa! What's with serious faces?"
The scale bird's words made the tomboy and her Digimon irked. Now they had to stay with the annoying bird with my-pace tendencies. He was the most laid-back Digimon among Zodiac XII besides Cancermon. He had persuasive skills which made him into more of businessman, but the hot-headed duo weren't the easy target to be persuaded with. Not even sweet mouth could affect them.
All the irkedness should be set aside for now. They had to focus on this search for treasure. No time to lose, as they had to retrieve the treasures as soon as possible. Not to mention the place was Ominous, and they needed to stay together. Bickering could only worsen, so the best choice was to work together with their supposed enemy.
So, for now, they had to form "enemy mine". After all, ally of your friend is your enemy. Libramon's abilities could help them in direst situations. Whether he would betray or not, just save that for later.
"Okay. You have my word. But let me have your word, okay? 60-40, guys, 60-40." Libramon reminded.

The situation is not improving, so according to Yuuki. Even though Dorumon has accessed Canisdramon, it's still lacking. What's lacking exactly? Well, Canisdramon aren't made to be used in small place... In fact, that's the fatal weakness of the lithe wolf Digimon. Despite the size that is smaller than Dorugamon, the main weakness is still there: the unfoldable wing blades that only can be made pointing up when not used, contrary to Dorugamon's that can be folded akin to real dragon's.
Then, there's a second thing to be considered. Trick and Speed or Defense and Strength? Canisdramon, while has resolved the issue of his weaker side of strength with so many tricks has gained the upper hand in the two forms, however, at the same time, he's quite on the brittle side. Corridors like this won't be nice to exert his full capacity. However, the other thing is Dorugamon also lacks the open space for his air maneuver, which once again, limiting his combat prowess.
And while he's thinking which form to use, it's seem that the party once again bickered. He understand that bad blood run deep, but in do or die situation like this, it's clear that doing this would probably make the bird brain more and more compelled to betray them on the end... The boy sighed yet again. He just wonder if this would go smoothly? He's not sure, but eh...
"Maa, maa, everyone chill pleeez! Honestly, I can do much without any sort of threats between us, yanno? Less internal fighting and more to treasure hunting, honestly! Hey there gold guy, all I can say is thanks for your assist, that's all. It's really appreciated. Now let's press forward!" Canisdramon declared.
Yuuki really want to facepalm at his partner's antic, but he's right on some points. They have to work together if they want to get out of this place in one piece. The thing is, can this guy over here be trusted? Can this guy over here be trusted to keep them alive? Even if it's 40-60, what's the chance of him actually just aiming for the gold and then ditched them good?
"...As you please. But remember, that promise would extend until we get out of here safely," Yuuki pointed out. His partner internally groaned at his sharp tongue, but he can't help it. He's just too cynical when dealing with strangers, especially those who has fought with one of the team member... By the way, that also sort of extend to the busty chick, but as she got more than the other guy, let's say he decided to side with Ryoko.

Looks like Libramon got the suspicion most from other parties. Granted, he was Zodiac XII member, automatically making him Ryoko's enemy. Yuuki the boy even demanded him to keep his promise to keep them alive until they safely brought the treasure out of the pyramid. After the tense atmosphere eased thanks to Canisdramon Foxy, Ryoko rolled her eyes on the bird before coming up with an agreement. "Alrite. I have yo' word. Juz be careful at wutcha doin'." Ryoko warned the Herald of Libra.
Alright, looks like the tension eased for real. Now they could focus to look for the treasure again. However, one thing for sure: keep it together and keep the temporary ally in check. While his assistance was needed, Libramon was the least trustworthy among the group.
Back to treasure hunting, the group then walked further into the insides of pyramid. They were at the larger passageway, moreso than the one where the mural eye lasers had been. There weren't traps at all, just passageway with plain walls. However, they need to be careful in case there were enemies around. Not to mention that this place was rumored to be cursed.
"Umm, from what I heard, this place is, I mean, there are curses laid around this place. Is that true?" Yuuki the fox girl asked. "Dunno. Juz be careful if said curse's gotten into us." Ryusei answered. Hearing the conversation about curses, Nadeshiko began creeping out and clinged on her girl-crush again. Ryoko was slightly annoyed, yet she couldn't do anything to calm her down.
Those stories about curses was familiar to Libramon's ears. Being an avid treasure hunter, of course he knew about its history. "So you're talking about Pharaoh's curse? Well... In the past, King Pharaohmon was known as the greatest king in the ancient era of Digital World. He conquered most of the world, and built several civilization. Of course, no king without treasures. King Pharaohmon was assassinated by thieves trying to steal his treasure, and before his death, the king put spells on himself and his late servants that they will be back to life to lay curses on whoever wants to takes the treasures without his permission. Talk about your everyday horror adventure movie." Libramon told the story.
