Blah, talk about without-reaction thingy... but now, with the group on full conclusion to not trust the bird 'mon yet in full agreement to not pick a fight with him, then most likely it'll be easier for them to reach the end without any sort of conflict. Still, this worries Yuuki to some extent. Was that silent means 'I got it' or the fact that he's trying to see what kind of moves he can pull up with them? The dark brown haired boy only can wonder as now they're advancing to the next place.
He doesn't trust them, he doesn't trust them enough. He cares about his friends and comrades, but these guys... no, they're just... well, someone he just met. They haven't proved their worth to him. It's the kind of faith that he felt like having for now... His partner... will his partner be OK? The dark brown haired boy only could guess... But either way, they're in haste of getting the artifact, get out of here and most probably get the reward... and he only can hope it's reward that can make him strong.
They walked deeper inside the ruins, hoping to find something... While it's good that the murals does not seem to occupy this place, the dangers that lurks still there... Yuuki is unsure whether going this way is good or not, but perhaps this is the only way... still, he only can hope that this is the right way instead of the bad way... also...
"...Whatever it is, curses or not, you're an angel, aren't you?" Yuuki addressed to Nana. "Supposedly, you can simply banish the curse, no matter what are the difference, am I right? Then you won't be in trouble at all, if that's true... Plus, if we only think about curses, then we'll only entertain whoever the big boss here is." Call him bitter, but overall, this kind of situation began to grating him. He wanted to take the treasure and run away with it... He don't want to stick with peoples that seems to be in bad therm.
"...Also, Pharaoh's curse and all stuffs like can be said as a fake, but also can be true. However, supposedlly, we have someone here with the power to detect traps, right? In the real world, the curses are often traps instead of literal curses, so let's just hope it's that. If nothing works, then you can heal us, simple as that, I guess?"
"You're talking like you're her boss, Yuuki," Canisdramon pointed out, snickering.
"Shut it. I'm not. This ruins just begin to make me angry."

The Lost Civilization [3/?]
Rewards for Pega: Bits Rewards for Yuuki: Post
Alright, It's really deep down here. But looks like it wouldn't take long time to reach the treasure. From the vision of his Eye of Laplace, he could see the treasure was nearby... He could see it. A sparkle of jewels. A smell of fine gold. Now that runs his money (pun intended). Yuuki then asked Nadeshiko about her ability to banish the curse. As an angel-type Digimon, she could fight well against demon-type Digimons, and the harmful ones. However, she had one problem. She was afraid of the bats, and the grotesque things like mummies, zombies, and such. She could fight a normal demon like Devimons and Myotismons just fine, though. When it came to undead opponents, she would tend to stick to her beloved Ryo-chan. "H-Honestly, Yucchi, I can fight demons just fine, but this curse thing... It sounds undead to me. I-I don't know how to handle it, and besides, I'm scared..." Nadeshiko said in somewhat awkward, scared tone. Especially after Yuuki the human boy asked her with such tendentious tone. And his view about "curse" thing, it looks like that the boy was kind of no-nonsense type. "I can cure a disease just fine, but I don't know if I can totally recover your health.""Oh, come on, guys! Why with the dense look, bouya? I mean, I can handle them all. You're safe with me, as long as I have incentives." Libramon said. "Besides, you're right, bouya. I don't believe in curses. They're just lies that will screw up your mind. Hopefully we can get the treasure before shit's gonna happen.""Inno, rite? As long as we stay together, not even curse can stop us! Anyways, let's get goin'." Ryoko said. As for Ryoko and the gang, they went deeper into a chamber of some sort. Wow. It was a huge chamber. There were murals around, depicting on how the Pharaohmon had died, and placed the curses on the whole pyramid. However, Libramon didn't see anything hostile from the murals. They were just simply pictures, nothing more. There were golden stuffs scattered around the chambers. Coins, medals, goblets, jewels, and many others. "Whoa... nice!" Libramon gasped in awe as he looked at the golden stuffs and the jewelry. He took some of the golden coins and jewelries, much to Ryoko's chagrin. On the end of the chamber was a gigantic Pharaohmon statue. Below the statue was a treasure chest of some sort. Ryoko took the chest from the statue's foot. However, they didn't notice that a coffin at the center of the room, themed after Tutankhamen's sarcophagus started moving... and it began to open. Libramon could sense it. The negative energy from the coffin. Could that be... "Oh shit!"

Oh great... an Angewomon who's afraid of zombies and likes... He really have no idea how to deal with this now... Previously, he thought that his help won't be super needed because there's this Angewomon, but... Somehow that hope crumbled almost immediately. Lesigh lesigh lesigh... just his luck. Canisdramon below him seem understood what he's thinking and understood that as much as Yuuki wanted to protest, he have some decency to not tell people to toss themselves to the battlefield.
"Alright, just... just try to attack from behind, I guess... or bless us in time of danger, that's all..."
And there he goes. He's glad that his partner got at least some bits of decency to not order people around, even after that kind of day. Canisdramon is sort of happy at that... honestly, if he let himself to get angry at the poor Angewomon, Dorumon have no idea what to do. Most likely he'll slap his head with his paw... but then again, Yuuki is kind in high strung because of their inability to do anything...
He's not high strung because other people's inability, so he would understand, or so Canisdramon believed. Yuuki's expression is a far on the annoyed side when dealing with his inferiority, though... really sour, really not liking anything that is presented at him, especially when his weakness involved. He'd fell like a loser that only can sit on the back while the other fights.
"...The thing is, bird, that I don't trust you. As much as there's your queen here, you're still an enemy. That's why I don't trust that you'll just go waltz in the battlefield and help us no matter how good that is, capiche? Most likely you'll ask for money in that case... That's why I'm not including you on the option," Yuuki deadpanned bitterly. "Although I wage you'd want to jump because your queen is inside that woman, but only at the last moment."
AND FINALLY, TREASURE ROOM. Yuuki really have no idea how happy he is that the end is near, but... but he noticed the sarcophagus on the middle... oh c***... ooohhhh c***.... That's not going to be pretty, not at all. Yuuki watches as the bird man starting to get his treasures, but he saw something on the feet part of an ancient statue that just exudes bad vibe...
"DON'T TOUCH T----"
Too late. The busty girl just have to move it and summoned the pharaoh personally. Yuuki inwardly winced at that. He really doesn't want to fight a Mega, but what can he do!? The Digimon below him quickly moved closer to where Ryoko is and dropped Yuuki there.
"I'll deal with him! Yuuki, you go search for a safe place!"
"NOT A CHANCE!! YOU CAN'T BEAT HIM!"

Yup, looks like shit has just got real. Ryoko had moved the treasure chest, and it looks like triggered the awakening of something inside the coffin. The lid of coffin began to move aside, until it dropped from the coffin. From the coffin, a Digimon of some sort came out. He then hovered above the coffin, before landing in front of Ryoko.
This Digimon, was certainly a Pharaohmon. He wasn't just a Pharaohmon, though. He was the King Pharaohmon that conquered various regions of Digital World, or at least according to Libramon. He stood around 10 feet tall, quite tall for Digimon on his level. The red eyes glowed, and gazed directly at Ryoko. For some reason, he looked angry, for the busty tomboy had removed one of his belongings.
"WHO DARES TO TOUCH MY BELONGINGS?" The Pharaohmon spoke in eerie, deep tone. He demanded to know who had moved one of his precious belongings, the treasure chest Ryoko had taken. "Err... Hello thar." Ryoko reluctantly greeted the Ancient King and waved. "Well, err... Is 'tis yo's? Sry to bug ya, I-" "YOU FOOL! HOW DARE YOU YOU TOUCH MY BELONGINGS! NOW YOU MUST PAY IT WITH A HIGH PRICE!" The King Pharaohmon bellowed before he snapped his fingers.
Suddenly, a hordes of Halsemons, Sethmons, and few Mummymons appeared from nowhere. Their eyes glowed red, and they looked as if they didn't have any vital signs. Also, their body seemed... decayed. Given there were bits of data vaporing from their body. That's right, they were undeads, summoned by King Pharaohmon. Looks like they would having hard time.
"Oh, shit." Ryoko deadpanned. "KYAAAAAAAH! ZOMBIES EVERYWHERE~!!!" Nadeshiko screamed in panic, running to her beloved Ryo-chan and hugging her tight form behind. "Looks like we've awaken him..." Libramon sighed. "H-Him...?" Yuuki the Renamon muttered, pointing at the King. "So this is the "curse", huh? Interesting. I'll take you on!" Libramon declared. "GET THEM!!!" King Pharaohmon ordered his army to attack the offenders. They then charged at the living ones, especially the Digimons with humans. Ryusei braced himself in case this happened.

Oh garp, wonderful, just wonderful. Canisdramon weren't sure from where he should talk, but this is certainly not nice, especially when this Pharaohmon isn't a normal Pharaohmon at all... Speaking of which, he's not even sure if this Pharaohmon would abide rule of gravity or any physical law... heck, he wondered if this Pharaohmon would need his sarcophagus' lid to defend himself. He's not something a Champion could face.
"...Uh om the second thought, someone call O'Connor family, please?" Canisdramon tried to joke, but quickly shut up when Yuuki sent him a dirty look. Geez, he must be really angry currently... Well, it's normal, because he was totally not expecting this kind of turn of event. Still, his eyes fixed at the Digimon... only then Canisdramon noticed that Yuuki's left leg is on the front. What does this means?
"Uh, Yuuki?"
"I have no idea if this is true, but... they said ... stand while putting your left foot on the front, that means you're respecting the king... in some way... but errr... I guess respect means nothing right now that we're at fault here... Um... errr... O Great King, would you kindly forgive us plebeians, who yet edu---"
...Too late, he's already so angry. There comes the horde of undead armors, champions and even ultimate... F**k his life, seriously, f**k it all. Yuuki groaned in exasperation and backed off to the statue, hoping it can become his sanctuary. Canisdramon quickly get on his fight stance, readying his Canis Gladius. His power is not holy light, just simply light...
...Why he agreed to go this way again? Someone please tell him otherwise he'll probably left them all. He'd leave them to their fate... he won't let his partner got harmed yet again because of his decision, but... Canisdramon looks fully wanting to stay and fight for their new comrades... or does he actually wanting to fight for him? Whatever it iis... Canisdramon cannot fight with such limited area.
Yuuki called off his Digimental before he raised his Digivice to the air again, this time letting it to send out stream of data in form of light bars to the sky and looked up as it united itself with digital letters to form light particles that looks metallic, descending down to his partner.
"Dorumon, Shinka! Dorugamon!"
Quickly, Yuuki climbed on his partner. The Digimon flies up quickly and start circling the room while shooting metal balls to the opponent.

Ryoko just looked at Yuuki the boy as he stepped with his left foot at the front. He tried to talk a reason with King Pharaohmon, but it was too late. The King had already started the attack, as the Halsemons and Sethmons charged at the group. Yuuki the Renamon was barely able to fight them, but she could distract them just fine. Nadeshiko was actually able to fight them in her level, but due to her being afraid of undead creature, she couldn't. As for Dorugamon, looks like he could fight them just fine, except Mummymons.
So, it left Ryusei and Libramon, who were a level below King Pharaohmon. As for the King, he looked like a Mega level, but his power level was equal to that of Super Mega, hence the King title. While Ryusei and Libramon could wipe the floor easily, they needed to be careful at Pharaohmon. Also, that King looked so powerful, as he seemed to be able to float by some kind of mysterious force.
"Okay then! Nao we've no choice but to kick their dead asses, eh? Ikuze~!" Ryoko exclaimed in Large Ham fashion. Then, the battle begun. Ryusei slashed and drilled through the Halsemons and Sethmons with his Rocket Modules, dashing through them. Libramon bombed the Mummymons with Golden Meteors, which dissolved them in instant. Some of the Mummymons launched the bandages hanging on their hands to Ryusei, but he managed to evade and cut some of them.
After Dorugamon shot the metal balls at the undead army, Ryusei came up with an attack of his own. "RIDER... KIRIMOMI KOUKA CRUSHEEEEEEEEEER!" Ryusei shouted as he spun in aileron roll in high speed before charged at the undead army, drilling through them like a tornado.
As for Nadeshiko, she was still scared from the terror from the undead Digimons, as she hugged Ryoko tighter, to the point the busty tomboy felt a bit hurt. Annoyed, she told the Angewomon, "C'mon, gal! I know y're scared, but at least help us, will ya?!" "But still, I..." Nadeshiko replied, although she was somewhat... Undetermined. "Sumtimes gals need to man up, okay? Nao give 'em an 'oomph' 'n 'ah' like ya always try to do to me, goddat?!" Ryoko shot back.
Hearing Ryoko's orders to give them curbstomp in "suggestive" way, Nadeshiko blushed a bit, but she could understand. She was glad that her crush persuaded her in 'her way', and she had more reason to like Ryoko more. That busty superstar knew how to flirt and take people's heart, so one could fall in love with her. And it counted as encouragement to Nadeshiko as well.
"I know! Celestial Arrow!" Nadeshiko shouted as she shot an arrow of pure energy to the Mummymon.

Right now, the situation isn't looking up on Yuuki's perspective...no matter how much he tried to make sure that the great king would forgive the party, it's useless... now to think of it, what's the meaning of property after you die? Yuuki doesn't understand that kind of reasoning where people burying themselves with their wealth. What's the meaning of wealth in afterlife? What's the meaning of the king's wealth compared to his fame? It's much easier and much more economic if you just keep the body in grave... while then the treasure is kept inside the kingdom's repository...
...He's getting derailed, isn't he? Back to the battle, he wondered just how much time he have? Honestly, he's not sure that he can keep the leverage still. Down there, the Rookie can fight just fine... which most likely means something... something as in, even Dorugamon could fight down there just fine, but the Mummymons are another matter. The room is sparse, hence the ability to flight is good enough in here... the matter is... until when he can keep this up?
Dorugamon isn't the type that is able to fly without flapping his wings... flapping his wings is extremely important for the Digimon to keep himself airborne... his energy is divided between attacking and keeps flying... Stamina is extremely needed in this case... however, if he's down, most likely that he'll risk Yuuki getting hit by all sort of attack. No, he can't do it... it's too risky!
Dorugamon opted to rain down the enemies with his Metal Cannon once again, aiming for Sethmon and Halsemon on their armored heads. Their body is rotten, so maybe they would be easily crushed by his little tricks. He has purposely aimed for the very same spot because of one reason... What would happened if you shoot your arrows at one place on a wooden armor?
The first two hits would be likely only simply stab the armor... however, when the third arrow hits, that point would most likely gave up. When the fourth shot hit... then without a doubt that they'll crumble. The same thing happened to those Sethmons and Halsemons. Dorugamon grinned. They can keep this up!
"Watch out for the king!" Yuuki warned. "He might be preoccupied, but we have no idea how much he have in store!"
True enough, they have no idea... does these Halsemon, Mummymon and Sethmon basically limitless? Or are there some unknown limits? Just how many would appear? Are they illusion or are they real? Are they spawned through magic or are they somehow prevented to be decaying with some kind of magic by the king? The answer would have to wait. Dorugamon shoot more metal bullets at the enemy back on the ground.

Alright. Looks like the undead Army couldn't stand for long. Dorugamon made continuous shot that broke the Sethmon and Halsemons' armors. As for Nadeshiko, her arrow hit a Mummymon, and disintegrated in instant. Now all of the party were jam-packed to fight the army summoned by King Pharaohmon. Looks like it was crowded, at its best. For some reason, the King didn't attack, and just watched them crushin his undead army instead.
"RIDER... KIRIMOMI KOUKA CRUSHEEEEEEEEEEER~!!!" Ryusei shouted as he executed "Rider" Tailspin Crusher again. This time, it wiped out half of the undead army for sure. But he had to be careful to the King. Looks like he was waiting for... something. So, Ryusei took out some more Mummymons.
As for Nadeshiko, she knew with a Celestial Arrow, it couldn't do. So, she had to prepare for a bigger attack. Nana-chan clapped her hands before raised them to the air, and then extending them to the side, forming a pinkish cross of light. "Heaven's Charm!" Nadeshiko shouted as she clapped her hands again to shoot the cross towards the undead Digimons. The cross was supposed to bust evil Digimons, so they were obliterated by the cross in instant.
Libramon shot some more undeads with Unbreakable Fulcrum, zapping them into dust. However, with the undead Digimons so many and more appearing, the Herald of Libra didn't have any choice but to use his trump card: Supernova. And so, the orange peridot on his chest glowed brightly, and the orangish aura shrouded Libramon as the scales on his wings started to separate. His third eye glowed, and it showed that he would be able to be serious. As the orbs on his body shined, they shot out ball of light that formed Libra Constellation map above him, before they fused into one light that he absorbed.
"I'll show you who you're messing with. CHOU, SHIN, SEEEEEIIIIII!!!" Libramon shouted as the both scales separated from his wings, before multiplying into five scales. Said scales actively moved from every angle, as if they were waiting for something. He then charged his third-eye beam, before shooting it into one of the scales.
"QUINTUPLE CROSS!" Libramon shouted as he shot out the beam into the scale. The scale had dimensional hole that passed through the beam, and then it came out from... the rest of the scales, which bombarded the undead Digimons from every angle! Pharaohmon grimaced, that he never see this powerful opponent in his life... or afterlife.
"YOU... ONE OF COSMIC JERUSALEM'S GENERAL...!" Pharaohmon growled at Libramon. "Yeah. Who else am I? Some sort of pizza guy?" Libramon snarked.

Is it good or bad? He's not sure whether it's bad or good but definitely, their attacks just now are making great amount of damage on Sethmon and Halsemon, so much that their armor breaks and without their armors, most likely they'll crumble soon. Yuuki however, still thinks that they're unable to really relax at this point. They're still on a situation where they're unable to truly fight on even ground with the king.
However, for some reason, the Egyptian King Digimon seemed to not moving at all from his spot... What is he waiting for? Dorugamon have no idea what's his aim is, but basically, he's not going to go down anytime soon. Still, the thing is the wave below seem has wiped out rather significantly. Dorugamon felt like he can finally go back to the ground...
"Yuuki! This form is lacking versatility! Let me return back to my Armor form!" Dorugamon told him.
"Wait! If you're going to armor, then... we don't know if you still have enough stamina to do it!"
Right, they're not in form for more evolving, but it's sure that they can win... As long as this 'Pizza Guy' doesn't try to do anything funny. Yeah, if he don't then... most likely that they can win, get out of here safely and he's going to get payment from this hellhole.
Now all he can do is to wait for the right moment. Dorugamon rested on the shoulder of a particularly big statue, hoping that he'll get a chance to attack soon... He's not liking this one bit... he need more energy, but... well, he guessed if he exited this form, that'll be it. He won't be able to get to other level.

The Lost Civilization [4/4]
Rewards for Pega: Bits Rewards for Yuuki: Posts
Okay, thanks to Libramon, the battle went smoothly. His Supernova ability was proven handy in this situation, especially when it came to massacring the undead army. Not to mention the scales actively moved, so the beam would follow, and of course, it made the bombardment easier. That was something. And such firepower would be feared, but not to Pharaohmon. As for Ryusei and the others, they seemed to be able to mop the floor so easy. However, the Pharaohmon smirked, as if he had waited for this moment. Suddenly, the leftover data from the defeated undead Digimons were gathering into a singular point, on Pharaohmon's hand. It then formed a ball of data, which then glowed and entered his body. "NOW FEAR THE WRATH OF ME, KING PHARAOHMON!" King Pharaohmon bellowed as he emitted the purplish gas around him. The gas was somehow... toxic. Best not to get near to it, or else... "NECRO MIST!" Pharaohmon bellowed as the gas started spreading, around 3 m radius from the king. The gas would drain one's strength, and poison it as well. Seeing this, Libramon was alerted. Now he need to alert he other guys as well, as it couldn't be a good sign. "Don't inhale the gas! It'll poison you to the death, or you'll be forced to serve the king even in dead!" Libramon warned as he kept bombarding the Undead army. Nadeshiko shot some more arrows to the undead Digimons, while Ryusei paused as he saw the Pharaohmon wafted the gas. Libramon noticed something... an ankh key (NOT this guy) at the gigantic statue that housed... a key. Looks like it could be the key to end this curse. "Take the key! It's in the ankh!" Libramon told Ryusei. "Alrite!" Ryusei nodded. Ryusei then flew to the statue, which held an ankh. There, he found a key of some sort on... the middle of ankh. He then took the key.

Is it good or not that they actually can rest even just for a bit? On the top of Dorugamon who idly sat on the statue's shoulder, Yuuki watches as the battlefield rages on. If only the Digimon is Dorugreymon instead, probably that would be a lot cooler, but he doesn't mind, because his mind is focused at the King. For many reasons, it doesn't look like he's going to move anytime soon... which is worrysome. What's his plan? He have no idea, but either way, for him, it smells like a bad thing.
Why isn't he moving? Why does he stay there like an idiot to their line of fire? Why he doesn't seem to bother much despite being outmatched so much? Then, he feel a chill down on his spine... this is his territory. A king wouldn't be called a king unless he have total authority over his domain. This is HIS LAIR, which means... everything here is for him to rule...
A trap.
Yuuki's eyes widened when it was much more worse than what he thought. The data of the undeads now swirling around the king before it... merged? Like a wind concentrated into one spot, the whirl is such a scary sight to behold. He watched as it starting to concentrate into a circular shape... a ball. No way... at this point, it's clear that they can't hope to win easily.
Dorugamon growled when he saw the orb entered the king. Not good! He emitted purple gas that seem to be poison. However, Yuuki knows better. It's exactly as Libramon said. It's a curse. A fricking Egyptian curse! They cannot go down even more now! However, it's seem that hope is not all gone. Yuuki saw Libramon told Ryuusei that the ankh seem store something.
There's nothing to do right now. They need to do something, and FAST. What to do oh what to do? He have no idea, but if he transform Dorumon to Canisdramon again, there's a chance they can go to any room despite of the corridor still swarming with the enemies... Well, he can't be sure whether it's true in this case or not, but certainly there's a reason from where this wave came from.
Then, there's matter of energy. Dorugamon has rested enough, but the problem is... just how long can he hold in this kind of situation? Dorugamon eyed down at the battlefield below. Poison... poison and more undeads, but despite looking that the king can absorb more miasma from the undeads, they're still fighting ceaselessly. Is it wise? Or is it wrong? He can't be sure, but he will move if they need his help.

This became so crazy. Not only King Pharaohmon unleashed his true power, the undeads kept coming. Sounds like a hopeless fight, it seemed. Although his Swaying Zubeneschamali provided quick work against them, Libramon must not overuse his Supernova ability, as it could drain his stamina, so it could be only maintained for five turns from activation. Also, if he kept bombarding the undeads, he just only fed the King Pharaohmon their leftover data.
As for Ryusei, he already got the key from ankh, but what for? Was it connected to the treasure chest Ryoko was holding? Was it the key to put an end to this curse? Who knows. Buyt looks like the key played important role in this quest, whatever it is. So, better to hand it to his buxom tamer, to try it out.
But first, he need to get rid of that mist. It would either poison to the death, or to force them to serve the king immortally. The Libramon was still busy bombarding the undead army, but the more they destroyed, the more they provided data to Pharaohmon. And so, the king grew stronger as he absorbed each data from the defeated undeads. Well, at least the AstroGreymon knew what he had to do first.
"Aero!" Ryusei shouted.
AERO, ON.
After the sound announcement, the spectral parts appeared around Ryusei's left leg and assembled itself on, and then materialized into a jet engine-like module. Ryusei then had the module to suck in large quantity of the air before blowing a burst of tornado to the King Pharaohmon to blow away the gases, which dissolved along with the fierce spin of the tornado. However, Pharaohmon noticed this and he summoned a magical circle which turned into a large fireball, which was fired through the tornado. Ryusei didn't notice it until... "ARGH!"
Ryusei got hit badly from the attack, and he was pushed towards the statue fiercely, hitting it and left a crack. The key that Ryusei took fell, and it was only a matter of time before it finally dropped on the ground. Perhaps someone could take the key, and... "Ryusei!" Ryoko shouted as her partner got hit badly from Pharaohmon's attack. "Foxy-chan, the key!" Nadeshiko told the fox-dragon to take the key Ryusei dropped from the attack as she shot more undead Digimons with her arrow.

Looks like he's wrong. The undeads still pouring like endless wave, and it's starting to be on level of being ridiculous. It's almost like there are just infinity of them! Just how big is this pyramid? Don't tell him it's like a reverse pyramid with another pyramid downward? Thought immediately entered Yuuki's mind... If this is just a little of the army, then just how much he stored in here? Then again, it could be his enemies, made into his servants... Then it all will come into full circle.
Enslaved even in death, such a scary thing to behold. He wondered if any of these Digimon once have their own mind and ego? Would they cry and beg to be destroyed wholly? Would they cry and beg for them to end their misery, the misery of their dead, rotten body? However, doing so would only fuel the king even more. It's stupid. There must be some way to kill him...
However, one thing that cannot be ignored is that they cannot stop attacking. It's as if they have a choice to begin with... Either to die from the mist or to die from being outnumbered. He is not willing to die because of any. That's why he's waiting on top of his Dorugamon. However, things are starting to get brighter for them.
Looks like that Ryuusei the AstroGreymon isn't as stupid as he looked and clearly holds more tricks than just several on his sleeves... er, leg. Ryuusei managed to shoo off all that toxic mist... however, that's still not good enough. The king looks pissed as heck. Yuuki signed to his partner to get ready. Dorugamon smirked and prepared to falcon dive to the floor when it happened.
And it happened! The AstroGreymon is blown away by a flame, hitting the statue. Thanks to his heightened reflex as a Dorugamon, the beast dragon Digimon quickly descended like a falcon, trying to grab it... however, where's Yuuki? The boy is not on the Digimon's back! But... looking up, one can see that he basically tossed himself up when Dorugamon descended. What with the foolish stunt?
When Dorugamon got the key, Yuuki was so far above... However, that doesn't stop there. The dragon quickly used his front paw to ascend once again, to catch his partner... however, midway, he changed into Dorumon again... under Yuuki's command. One would wonder if the boy got a few screw loose or not. Dorumon opened his mouth for his partner to take the key. A faint smirk graced Yuuki's face before he muttered something.
'Digimental Up'
Quickly, Dorumon changed into Canisdramon, rotating himself and let Yuuki climb on his back. Not wasting time, he summoned three crystals midair that he uses as stepping stone... But he doesn't stop there. Quickly, the armored wolf scratched the crystals and shoot his Radiant Howl on them, creating bombardment of light lasers on the enemy below.
It doesn't go much smoothly, though. Despite using the crystals as stepping stone to goes downward, going down still won't be some soft ride. Yuuki know that... and this is where his order would be crucial. Under the boy's order, Canisdramon used his booster to descend right where Ryoko is, using it as sudden boost to before he can reach the ground to lessen the impact.
Yuuki quickly hands the key to the orange hair, pointing at the chest.
"Whatever it is, just unlock it! There might be a heart hidden there!"

After few seconds attaching to the statue, Ryusei fell to the ground, but not before the Dorugamon jumped from the statue to catch the key. However, he caught his partner first who was about to perform crazy stunts, just to catch the key! Well, there's no need to do that, because Dorugamon degenerated into his rookie form before catching the key. Yuuki then activated the Digimental to Digivolve his Digimon into Canisdramon once more.
Now this was going to be the climax. Yuuki's Canisdramon then ran towards the ground while using the crystals as steping stone, and bombarding the pesky enemies below. Nadeshiko, who was busy handling the undeads, was helped that Canisdramon bombed some of them. She still had to defeat the endless wave of mummies, and she was spamming Celestial Arrow to the Mummymons, while her Renamon junior couldn't do anything to help them.
As for the "Pizza Guy", yeah, he was still spamming Quintuple Cross across the room. But he tried to be careful with that, not to harm his "allies". It was a part of wager, after all. He wanted money, and he had to take responsibility of their safety. The undead arm kept spawning, and it was only matter of time before the Supernova wore itself out.
The undeads then began attacking as well. Dead Halsemon emitted red beam from its eyes to Yuuki the Renamon, but then, she evaded the attack, letting it to hit its fellow undead Sethmon instead. She then performed acrobatic maneuvers before... "Diamon Storm!" Yuuki Renamon then shot the hundred of leaves she created at the Halsemon. Though it had no effect on him, at least it was enough to distract him, so it left open room for Nana-chan and Libramon to bomb them.
As for Ryoko, she quickly caught the key and tried to open the chest with it. However, Pharaohmon noticed this and he summoned another fiery magical circle, before turning into fireball, which was fired at her direction. Just before it hit her when she shielded herself, one of Libramon's scales shielded her instead, and then it went into the scale's dimensional hole, warping it through another scale behind him, so it hit his instead! "YOU FOOLISH MORTALS...!" Pharaohmon growled in anger. "I'm sorry. I can't afford to have my "boss" to be killed so easily, Your Majesty." Libramon said, with a sarcastic emphasis on addressing the king.
Ryusei then stood up and he was about to engage Pharaohmon in combat. But he knew his power level wasn't that high compared to Pharaohmon. So, he had no other choice but to stall him. "I'm yo' opponent, O, Dear Lord!" Ryusei snarked at the king as he boosted towards King Pharaohmon, while the draconic aura enveloped him. He then charged towards Pharaohmon, and... "RIDER... DRAMON BUSTEEEEEEEEER~!!!" Ryusei shouted hammily as he thrust his rocket arms to Pharaohmon, however, the King used a shield from his sarcophagus lid to block his attack.
Ryoko then used the key to open the lock in the chest, and as she opened it... There was a book inside the chest? Well, that wasn't an ordinary book, it seems. Ryoko then opened the book, and... all of the contents was filled with hieroglyph gibberish, that she couldn't read at all! Granted that she didn't know anything about Egyptian language, even the mean of those hieroglyphs.
"SHIT! I can't read 'tis fuckin' goddamn thing! ARGH!" Ryoko growled in frustration as she tried to read the contents of the book she actualy couldn't at all. Pharaohmon heard her, and he noticed the book she was holding. "BOOK OF AMEMIT?!" Pharaohmon gawked, when he saw the book. "YOU MORTALS CAN NEVER UNDERSTAND THAT BOOK!" "Then let me!" Libramon shouted.
Ryoko then handed the book to Libramon, and then he opened the book to read its contents. He then used his Eye of Laplace to help him read the book, to translate each words. According to the book, any language is not matter as long as the reader can speak the meaning correctly.
"To those who live in dead, to those who died in living. Those who are bound to the curses of the damned, your suffering shall end. Arise, ARISE! The one who call death, the one who brings life! He who waits between gates of life and death, and bring the mortals to their doom, and the immortals to their peaceful rest. Hear me, answer me! O, The Conqueror of Afterlife! Release us from the curse!"
After Libramon read the book, the hieroglyphs shined, and a beacon of light was shot out from the book. It was shining brightly, that it almost blinded everyone who saw it. "'Da heck?!" Ryoko gawked. "Climatic Event KITAAAAAA~!" Ryusei and Yuuki Renamon shouted. "I'ts so bright!" Nana-chan squealed. "So this is it...! This is the Book of Amemit's true purpose!" Libramon muttered.
After the light faded, a figure, presumably a Digimon hovered on the air. It was a Mega-Level Digimon with power equal to Super Mega, like Pharaohmon. It sized the same as Pharaohmon, except that it had canine face, with Ancient Egypt aesthetics. It also had golden wings to fly.
Libramon had just summoned the Anubismon.

After tossing the key to Ryoko, Yuuki holds on Canisdramon mane as the wolf dragon hybrid speeds off with his booster and spreads his wings, similarly to Liger series from Zoids. He managed to slash several Sethmon and Halsemon, but it's nothing noteworthy. Afterall, the fact that they're still outnumbered is still there. The canine Digimon wished that his Ultimate Digimental was ready... However, even if it's ready, can it contribute something in this kind of situation?
The focus on hand is to keep off the enemies at bay. Even the angel who admitted she have huge fear of undeads now bombarding the enemies with her attacks... so no matter what, they can't lose! Canisdramon howled again and let out laser-like breath following Nadeshiko's attacks. They say, if backed up, any attacks is stronger than before! The canine Digimon dashes around the battlefield, crippling more armor Digimons.
Still, Yuuki is uneasy. Who knows if the necro mist could be summoned again? And their 'ally' seem to be having difficulty himself, trying to keep all the undeads at bay. It's just matter of time that he tire out and would definitely lowering their fighting capability... At that time, he wondered if they would have a chance with fighting the king?
Still, he was too careless. A Mummymon, finally noticing that he's basically the weakest of the group quickly shot his skill at Canisdramon, who failed to see it on the last moment, only to blasted away to the wall. Yuuki winced as once again he felt his back struck against another hard terrain... It's like back then... he's way too weak... is his conviction not enough? Is his faith inadequate?
"...Dangit... Dorumon..." Yuuki tried to reach his armored partner, who tried to get up, albeit shakily. Why? Why can't he access his newest Digimental? Why does he have to stay this weak while the other are in lot of stronger level? Why...? He hates this! Yuuki crawls to his partner as the battle still rages on. The wolf shooting his lasers around at the enemy, but like said previously, that alone is not enough...
Slowly, Yuuki climbed Canisdramon once again. He have no power to bother with other people's safety. He have no power to protect them that easily... he have no power to save anyone in this room, who have greater power than he do... However, that kind of luxury, he have one... he will ensure his own safety. He'll ensure the safety of his partner... that's why... the only one he can depend on this kind of situation is he himself...
As Ryoko shielded by Libramon, Yuuki is sort of glad that his partner doesn't have to toss himself to line of danger again for someone else. And it's seem that despite the level disparity, Ryuusei is willing to fight the king... He don't know if that is wise or stupid, but either way, currently he can hold him off although just for a bit. Canisdramon gathered his strength again to stood right up. The armored wolf defiantly stared at the undeads.
And... he heard a click. A click from the treasure chest. Canisdramon looked at the source and found it that Ryoko found out that the insides are book... a sacred text, perhaps. Hearing Ryoko's frustration, Canisdramon was about to drop Yuuki there again, before suddenly he's barricaded by more Sethmon and Halsemon. The canine grinned under his helmet and slashed the enemies again with his Canis Gladius.
It doesn't look up, but only look up as suddenly Yuuki noticed what could be that book, from the king's surprised exclamation. So it's that, the boy thought... clearly, Amemit is a terrible beast that would eat your heart if you don't behaves in the afterlife... speaking of which, lying is absolutely not allowed in the court of anubis who would summon Amemit, if he recall that correctly.
And his thoughts proved to be correct. When Libramon reads the passage like a chant typical of describing the hell guards, chill sent down to Yuuki's spine. That book is their trump card! What would it summon he have no idea, but he vaguely understand that it'll be the deciding factor in this battle... and true he is...
Heh... Anubis... No, that's clearly Anubismon. He have no idea how would the battle proceeds after this but one thing for sure is that they're ready to end this all.
