The armored warrior glad that his method of emergency treatment works on the bird. He wasn't very sure about doing this at first, but since Enzan usually treat his own wounds by this way, he assumes that it would work on other organic beings. But this one risky method could gone wrong and would only give the wounded Hawkmon a worse burn on his skin if Enzan is not doing it properly. But he'd been doing this since he knows how to manipulate fire, so it's safe to assume that Enzan is already mastering this.
Now to the other problem. He have to take his sword that was stuck at the ground where the door with javelin trap lies. It's not that Enzan is powerless without his sword, he can still fight with bare hands. The reason why Enzan wants his sword back is simple: Utility. If you are provided with a tool that could be useful for tricky situations, why don't you use it? By the word utility, it means the sword is not used as a weapon for slashing random objects, rather, the sword could be used to channel his fire, which would be greatly needed in this situation.
Before Enzan walks away from Red to take his sword, the winged girl wants to scout the entire room. Not a bad idea, but Enzan just hope she's not bumping into another trap again. But seeing her using the floating board to stay afloat relieves Enzan from his worry. The girl tries to not repeat the same mistake she did earlier and tries to be more careful. But still, there is always possibilities.
The Hawkmon is becoming the meeting point should the winged girl and Enzan done with their business. Enzan won't take long time. He'll return to the hawkmon as soon as possible.
And the problem remains. The distance between Enzan and his sword is quite far. There is no guarantee that he won't step on a switch that disguised as floor. Enzan could just walk or run to grab the sword, but that would be reckless and suicidal. Enzan tries to be more considerate and finding a way to get his sword without touching many floors.
Complete silence. No more noise in this room. However, something is a bit awkward. Like there is some kind of movement that barely audible in-between this silence. It could be hallucination, though. Yeah, maybe it's just his imagination. He gotta grab the sword and cover the Hawkmon.
After spending some seconds to think, the Mushamon comes up with this one trick. It could work, but first...
...The Mushamon shoots a flame from his right hand while keeping the light on his left hand. He's measuring the distance between him and the sword. The trail of flames emitted dim light that would show the sword is few meters ahead, and the floor is somehow normal enough for a dungeon room.
But Enzan isn't taking risks yet.
After he's sure about this, the Mushamon prepares his stance, setting up some momentum before he leaps some distance. After he feel that his leap reaches the maximum distance, the Mushamon stomps the air, dashing with high speed to reach his sword. The dash leaves an afterimage because of such speed generated.
Enzan arrived safely, just beside his sword. But pulling the sword out from the ground doesn't make this over.
"WHA-ARGH!"
As the Mushamon pulls his sword away, in a sudden he was struck by an unknown object. He knocked back to the ground after being struck by this unknown object.
Should the winged girl or the hawkmon panicked, the Mushamon responds quickly.
"Uh...I'm fine here! Just... got stuck here with some kind of goo..."

As the JeetHawkmon sat recuperating, he followed the path of the Mushamon in retrieving his sword. Without an ability to fly, the Champion would risk setting off traps on the ground. For all they knew he could even find himself falling into a hole within this darkness. Using a stream of flames to measure the distance was a smart move, as was choosing to essentially jump to his target rather than risk hitting something. A distinct sound that matched one of a moving sword was received, but it was followed by another unusual sound. Something...blunt? Definitely the sound of a collision in some form, and the Mushamon was visibly pushed back.
All Red could make out was the leftover residue of some type of slime. Vika too turned back mid-flight to check on the noise, and saw the same odd goo on her new partner.
"Looks more like a prank than a trap." she commented before turning back towards her own scouting. It had taken a good deal of time to reach the opposite wall, but without knowing whether Red was anywhere near the center she could still not gauge the area of the room. Even on this end the walls held the same bland look, no doubt with at least one more switch hidden upon it. If she had to guess it was maybe thirty or so feet from Red? Though distance was not her specialty.
Careful not to touch the walls, she decided to get as close as possible to investigate if something was off. Or if it was leaking that goo. Was that maybe something dripping from above? She hadn't felt anything falling at any point in this labyrinth. Regardless, she followed the wall towards the same direction they had initially been going.
"Hm? Is that something useful?"
At the edge of the light given off by Fire Emblem, she could make out some kind of indentation in the wall. Following it upwards, she came across a door-sized hole leading into more darkness.
Or mostly darkness. There was definitely something in there that gave off a faint spark even at this distance. Like how one can see the smallest piece of glitter if they look at the right angle.
"Well there's a door here. Or at least a hole. You can't fly, can you Mushamon?"

"I agree with that. This goo is ridiculous. Not to mention that it smells like snot added with some burnt iron and fart."
Enzan replied to the winged girl's comment. Didn't take long for the Mushamon to stand up again and regain his composure. He tries to get away from smelly goo and wipes away most of them from his body. Some of them still remains on the feet and his straw cape, but the Mushamon is not noticing it. However after several seconds passed since Enzan is trying to wipe the goo away from his body. The goo around his back and feet magically hardens and somehow attached to him. The Mushamon doesn't feel that, though. He thought most of the goo are wiped out and the one around his body is dried. However, to be dried in such time is quite suspicious. Another trap? Or perhaps it's just an ordinary mucus? Not sure about that.
Enzan had a feeling about this goo, but he already wiped them away from his body. He safely assumes that nothing will happen. At least, that's what he thinks. But the suspicious goo is suspicious. There's always a possibility. This makes the Mushamon feels more uneasy.
After Enzan finished with the goo, he noticed that the girl found something that appears like a door-sized hole. Or maybe a hole-sized door? Whatever that is, that thing surely looks like some sort of exit from this room. However, the problem appears to be... the exit is on the ceiling, which could be the reason why the girl asked whether Enzan can fly or not.
"I could if i digivolve, but i doubt that the hole fits my Ultimate form, missy."
Enzan replied, putting back his sword to the sheath.
"But i think there's a way to make me fly up there without using wings or having you carrying me."
The Mushamon's eyes narrowed, almost closed. His right hand swiftly rubs his chin.
"Oh yes, you're a wind Digimon. Do you have enough power to blast me up there with your wind, miss?"
such a crazy idea, but it's worth to try.

"Augh, sounds terrible." Vika grinned back at the Musamon's unnecessary description of the goo's smell. So what, it was going to tip off enemies through smell? That vaguely made sense given that sight was rendered fairly useless in this place.
As for flying...looked like that would require an over-sized Digivolution. And Red needed a boost too given the unknown poison still in his system. Probably wasn't a good idea to fly after that, right? She herself may do so, but the Wind Spirit was far less reckless when it came to her friends in these situations.
But blasting him up with wind? Now THAT she could do!
"Sure, just stand still a sec."
With the, the WinterKazemon produced aboomerang-shape object; her Hurricane Gale technique. On contact, they burst into a tornado. Usually this was for damage, but Vika herself had learned that with proper skill she could use them as a huge boost in speed and height.
The trick was whether or not she could aim it well enough in this darkness to give Mushamon a boost rather than a bruise.
Within Fire Emblem's light, Red could only faintly make out what the Spirit User was trying to do. But the object in her hand was unmistakable. "Vika, I don't think-"
Aiming as best as she could in these circumstances, she threw the attack in the middle of the JeetHawkmon's objection to avoid having to hear it. Assuming it was correctly aimed, it would hit the floor slightly behind the Mushamon and give him a boost into the air towards her. Once he was decently high, she could presumably get him in mid-air and rush through the hole.
...presumably.
