Given the chaos currently appearing across the Digital World, this was probably one of the safer places to be. The relatively remote town known as Hardware Den was new to Vika. Not that she'd be staying in the town long after hearing the rumours of a "powerful processor" or something hidden outside town. Something that could be used in a variety of machines for a huge boost of efficiency.
Sounded like the kind of thing Asmaan 2.0 deserved if it was seriously going to replace her beloved broken board. And thus the WinterKazemon and her unlucky tag-along buddy Red ventured into the winter tundra that was the outside of town. This place was even more remote, though the rate of falling snow would probably cover any signs of activity fairly quickly anyways. As the duo were flying, they were not to leave any prints for even a small period.
Her dagger remained in her right hand with a lit flame to provide some much-needed warmth, mainly to Red. The WinterKazemon, as name and Canadian heritage implied, was practically impervious to the cold. Her mind was simply focused on her goal. Except...
"We have no clues barring "somewhere in the outskirts of town"." the JeetHawkmon reminded, keeping pace with the hoverboarding Wind Spirit. "How do we expect to find it? I'm well aware you would not enjoy searching this tundra for too long."
"It's something precious, so it must be hidden somewhere safely. In a dungeon or cave or something? Maybe with a guard? I figured we'd know when we see it." she answered back, half making up the answer as she went. Honestly, Vika was none too concerned about the specifics at the moment. Maybe later when she was tired and hadn't found anything, but not yet.
Hm...well maybe she had found something. Up ahead on the ground she could see a lone figure trudging through the snow. Something seemed vaguely familiar about it, but at this distance and snow coverage she couldn't really tell. Seemed like a human.
The fact of the matter was this was the first person they had seen out here, and they were at least heading in the same direction as the Spirit User.
"Maybe I can follow this person? Or..."
Vika leaned forward on her board and dipped almost directly down. She made a sharp, almost right-angle turn near the ground so she was flying parallel to it. Picking up speed, she made a wide semi-circle around the unknown figure before coming to a stop in front of them. With the unfortunate effect of sending a wave of snow towards them.
"Hey, looking for something?"

What could I do even if she refused to come with me? I can't exactly push her about considering... That and I don't want to either. Strange to really think about it.
A whirring sound caught his attention, it was faint at first then the sound strengthened. He cast about in front of him his brow furrowing; maybe there was some kind of notification system for the village? That could tell them about impending danger or of a traveler? He shrugged at first but when the whirring sound was practically blasting in his ear he felt something sudden from his spirit. He only felt this sort of thing when he was around other tamers, spirits or the like. But it was never when he was around digimon in themselves. It was a sense that let him know; but only when they were practically on top of him. Not much of a dangersense but when his own senses weren't the best to begin with. Without thinking his hand dove into the pocket holding his digivice only to be covered in what seemed to be a small wave of snow. The force wasn't great, this wasn't an attack at all but the bit of wind following knocked his hat off and caused his scarf to unwrap a bit. His grey hair blew about in the wind generated by the gesture and his hand came up as a warding gesture. A familiar voice brought a flash of memories from a time he himself had called a digimon a partner.
Hey, Looking for something?
Alot of things, Though if memory serves... We've met before, when I was partnered with a rather toxic dragon.
His hand slipped out of his pocket, the digivice no longer thought of. He didn't have to defend himself, if he was thinking right he had just ran into an old friend. He glanced back at his hat, it had landed not a few feet away from him. The weight of the material making it so that the wind would not blow it away easily. He took a few steps towards the hat dusting off the snow. He could feel the beast within him raging to get out, the utter pounding in his temples letting him know that they wished to challenge this person. Maybe it was fate that spirits were meant to clash? He took a step closer and he could feel the beast raging even more; it wished to devour, to consume, to become stronger. With the power of the moon waning the beast within was growing restless, wishing to take it's mind off of things.
How could he blame it?
Though maybe we're looking for things that are similar?

Eh?
Now that she had the stranger in her sights (barring a small layer of snow), Vika could tell it was a human male. Probably the oldest looking one she'd seen in the Digital World, actually. Something about him seemed familiar, but she couldn't quite place him...
Lucky for her, he was better at remembering things. She had met him when he was with a toxic dragon? Hm...an older guy and a toxic dragon...the feeling of familiarity grew into a memory. She had met those two when she had just recovered from her wings healing and was searching for Red.
It was Sebastian the dragon, and the tamer-
"Kan, right! I remember you now." she announced, much too proud of herself for her small feat. "Sorry, you seem different than when I last saw you. Plus I didn't see Sebastian around. He flying up ahead or something?"
Somehow she recalled Kan looking shadier, but honestly right now...he just looked like someone tired from a day of work or something. Didn't he work in a store or something? Maybe he really did just get off work. The idea of relaxing in the Digital World with its messed-up time effects was probably a good way to get the most out of after-work time though; she'd have to remember that for the future when she was working.
As Red had been surprised by Vika's sudden decent, he only now landing at her side. Kan was not familiar to him in the least...and the bird was certainly suspicious of someone out in this weather. Unless they too were searching for that processor?
Kan at least alluded to it being his objective.
"Oh, you looking for a processor? To boost a vehicle or something?" the WinterKazemon inquired. "Sorry, but I kind of need that for my board. But you can definitely help me look for it."
