Failures. Nothing but failures. The great NiseAgumon Hakase is a diabolical evil genius whose goal is to take over the entire Digital World. Yet there was always something or someone that comes along and get in the way. The Agumon was determined to not let anyone stop him in his current wicked project. Right now, he was explore one of the underground ruins he had been researching, riding in a pseudo Mekanorimon and using its arms to dig through the walls to go deeper. The reason it's called a pseudo Mekanorimon was because he couldn't convince a real one to help him, so the Hakase had make one. It was weaker than a real one as well, but should be enough to get by. It was part of his plan to create an incredibly powerful robot to help him take over the digital world. He have had quite a few hiccups to his plan along the way.
The Hakase tried to create a lab in the forest to make the final preparations to his robot, but a rather annoying mega level digimon came along and destroyed it and all of the bots he use to protect it. Then he narrowly escape from a crazed spirit user when he tried to recruit him. It took about two whole days for the Hakase to find one of his old labs and make new construction bots. Now he found a new location to make his lab with a dozen of worker bot finishing construction. He hopefully put the new construction site in a more secretive location this time.
Even if the new lab had gotten finished, he still needs to get enough power to run it. The Hakase had been researching these ruins for a while now, he believes deep within there was such a power source. So taking his pseudo Mekanorimon, he kept digging into the ruins to find it. Naturally, if he doesn't find what he seeks here, he would just destroy it all. Just because these ruins were here for thousands of year does mean he wouldn't get rid of them when they served their purpose. Plus this suit should have enough power to get rid of those pesky higher level digimon.

The sun was beaming down a certain rabbit Digimon who had somehow managed to find himself stuck in Folder Desert. The humid and hot environment was taking its toll on Scyrus who had found himself removing his scarf and wrapping it around his floating scythe as he made it float above him, supplying him much needed shade. If it weren't for this, the heat would have killed him, and he didn't feel like dying just yet. How fortunate of him to have had a decent lunch and drink before entering the desert.
He soon arrived to what seemed to be like the ruins of what once was a civilization, which was now left to decay. He made sure to get under shade of some of the broken down buildings, resting and letting the dry air blow past him. It wasn't pleasing, but it was better than the sun shinning down on him. He looked far into the distance and saw what seemed to be some kind of temple. His ears caught the sound of what seemed to be a rumbling noise deep within the ruins which, upon closer inspection, led underground. Scyrus was now standing at the edge of the doorway, debating in his mind whether or not he should go inside, it felt dangerous to him.
"Whole...again..." He muttered to himself quietly as he finally chose to go inside in search of the 'missing piece' to his inner puzzle.
Hopping in, he immediatelly felt the change of environment as he was now within shade. He sighed in relief and hopped deeper and deeper, noticing the broken walls of the insides of the ruins, and the rumbling sound was growing louder and louder. It seemed like someone was already here. He wondered why anyone would want to come inside some empty ruins. Maybe they too were trying to find wholeness? Somehow the thought of him not being alone made him feel slightly better about himself. He did, however think whoever was digging through these ruins wasn't considering the risk of these ruins collapsing on them. Scyrus didn't care though, if the chances of finding what he felt was missing from himself were there, no matter how small it was, he would take the chance.

Hours and hours of digging, and still nothing. NiseAgumon Hakase was getting angrier and angrier as he kept digging deeper into the ruin. That incredible power source has got to be somewhere in these ruins. His calculations and research couldn’t be wrong. The shovel claws of the pseudo Mekanorimon slash into the stone wall, leaving piles of dirt behind. Perhaps he should find another place to dig. Just before he was about to give up, the machine hit the wall again and suddenly the wall collapse to reveal what looks like a chamber.
“Hmm…this is quite promising.” He said, grinning to himself. The power source must be deeper inside.
Just then, The Hakase could hear footsteps nearby. This was giving him a bad feeling. What if another one of those higher level digimon. This time, he was completely ready for them. He moved over to the source of the noise and saw a strange rabbit digimon. It looks much weaker than the other interlopers he had to deal with. But what was this thing doing down here? Surely he wasn’t here to get the power source, but then this gave the evil Agumon an idea. Inside the chambers in the ruin, there might be traps protecting what he seeks. He could use this fool to set off the traps and leaving the Hakase the safe path to his key for world domination.
Open the glass cockpit of the pseudo Mekanorimon, The Agumon leaped out of the suit and approached the rabbit digimon, giving him his best smile.
“Well well, I didn’t know there was someone else interested in these beloved ruins. So tell me, is there anything you seek here?” The Hakase asked.

After a few moments of following the trail of the stranger who had entered these ruins, he finally meets such stranger. It was a mechanical Digimon whom Scyrus was not accustomed to, however that was not the real form of the Digimon, instead it was much smaller...a strange looking Agumon was the true form of this mechanical Digimon. It seemed to have found some kind of room through digging. It asked a question, so naturally Scyrus gave a simple answer.
"Wholeness." He answered blankly, thinking in his mind that this was a good enough answer. He wouldn't say any more if asked for an expansion on his answer. Now, Scyrus asked his own question, more of a personal one.
"Are....you...whole?" He asked, again with a blank stare.
Deep inside he hoped that he would say no, it would make him feel a lot better. Strange, he thought. The idea of him enjoying the sadness of others made him feel strange. His serious expression made it hard for the Agumon to 'read' his thoughts. Either way, he would then follow to keep on his own quest to look for his wholeness. Hopping past the Hakase he entered the chamber, almost immediately feeling that he was in a dangerous place. It felt too ominous for him.

The Hakase didn’t expect this creature to give him such a ridiculous answer to his question, and even gave him ridiculous question back to him. At the very least, he doesn’t seem to be seeking the power source, and this creature is a simple and stupid. He would foolishly trigger all of the traps, clearing the way for NiseAgumon to claim the treasure. He still kept up his smile as he respond.
“Well, I wouldn’t say that. If we work together, I’m sure that we can-- ”
Just before he could finish what he was saying, the rabbit digimon just hopped past him and made it inside. The Hakase started to growl angrily. How dare he ignore someone as important as him? Soon, he calm down a bit and realized that he recklessly going inside the chamber, possibly setting off a few traps. That’s exactly what the evil Agumon wanted. He would just have to keep his distance and let the fool do the work for him.
NiseAgumon Hakase slowly step inside the chamber. He took a good look around, seeing all of the old relics and designs on the walls. It’s a very beautiful looking place, of course, The Hakase couldn’t care less about that. He couldn’t find that bunny anyway. Then he looked over at a long hallway the end of the room. It looks perfectly like it might be booby trapped. That digimon must have went down this hallway, yet not traps were activated. Thinking that it’s safe to go across, the Hakase moved forward.
Suddenly, the Hakase stepped on a tile on the floor and loud click was heard. His heart dropped when he heard that. He could hear a rumbling slowly growing louder. It was a large iron ball rolling down from the entry chamber to the hallway. The Agumon yelled out and started to run down the hallway, while iron ball was chasing him.

The chamber looked pretty old, relics, ancient writings on the wall, symbols, designs. It was all so...old. Scyrus, being wary of the chamber had obviously made sure he walked carefully, making sure nothing bad would come out. Traps. Making it past the chamber and towards a long hallway unharmed he sighed in relief. As long as he remained careful and wary, he could get to the end of these ruins and maybe find what he was looking for. By now, he almost had completely forgotten his meeting with the NiseAgumonHakase. That's, unfortunately, just how his memory worked.
Suddenly a rumbling noise came from behind him. He immediately turned around to find that the source of it was a familiar Agumon who was yelling as there was a rolling iron boulder coming his way. Now he had two options, leaving the Digimon to die and save himself....which seemed the most logical way for him to survive....or save him and potentially get them both killed. There was a little voice in his head telling him to leave it to die, however there was another, much louder voice telling him to save the Digimon. He decided to listen to it and sighed, he hopped very fast towards the incoming Agumon, attempt to grabbed him by the hand and drag him with him as he hopped at full speed.
"Grab!" He yelled at him as the ball came faster and faster.
At the end of the hall, Scyrus could see an entrance to a deeper part of the ruins. Rushing quickly with the extra weight brought his speed down by quite a bit, making it a possible close call.

NiseAgumon Hakase kept running as the large iron boulder kept chasing him down the hallway. As the metal sphere got closer and closer, The Hakase could feel his life flash before his eyes. This couldn’t be how the future ruler of the Digital World was supposed to go out. Then suddenly, an arm grabbed him and they managed to get out of the hallway in time, letting the boulder whiff right past them, hitting a wall. The Hakase looked over at his savior, realizing it was that foolish bunny. He couldn’t believe that one who was supposed to trigger the traps was the one that saved him.
After the Agumon was panting and taking deep breaths from all of that running, he snatched his arm away from the bunny. He growled deeply and muttered to himself a bit. Then he glared at him a bit. “Hmph, I didn’t need saving. I could have handled it. Just don’t set off any more traps.”
He turned his head away from him and walked forward. This time, he was going to make sure that he really trigger the next trap for him. So, the Hakase continue to move forward through the ruins, still keeping his mind on the treasure that he will find. Soon, they made it to another large room. This room has a enormous pit that seems endless. It spanned the whole room and the only way across was a narrow stone bridge. This bridge was made up with alternating red and blue stone tiles.
The Hakase stopped at the bridge, figuring that there has to be a trap along this bridge. He looked over at Scyrus, pointing his rod at the bridge. “Go ahead and cross the bridge. I’ll follow behind you.” He told him. An observant person would see a clue near the wall about only crossing the blue tiles.

After arriving at the end and quickly dodging the huge rolling ball, Scyrus sighed while looking at it crash at the end. That was a close call...too close. Quickly he calmed himself and looked over to see the Agumon he saved....Agumon! He remembered again that he just talked to him a while ago. He silently scorned himself for having such a bad memory. At least he remembered immediatelly he thought. The Agumon then looked bothered by being saved, complaining about the trap. Scyrus simply stared.
"Me set off trap?" He asked. He didnt remember setting off anything...well that was probably it, he set it off and didnt remember? Probably. "Okay. Next time, I be careful and no save you." He simply answered, complying to his request. He didnt want to have a complaining Digimon on his back, that is how he saw him at least.
After walking with him, carefully keeping away from any possible traps, to the next spacious room, there was a bridge with different coloured tiles, blues and reds. He figured this must be a trap...but he didnt know what it would do, or hot to go around it since it was a bridge. He inspected it closely.. It had something to do with the colours, he was sure. He did not notice the clues on the wall. So he chanced it. He stepped on the blue tile, quickly stepping back if something happened, and nothing did. He turned back and pointed with his paw to the blue one. He said nothing since he thought this was enough information for the Nise. He didn't even try to check the red tiles, he had a feeling that the colours meant something, and he wasnt going to try the red tiles since he already found the safe way.

The Hakase watched as Scyrus looked over the bridge. He also figured this was a trap of some sort. If it wasn’t, obviously that’s a good thing. If so, then it would be the bunny’s turn to be humiliated. Then the bunny stepped on the blue tile and nothing seemed to happen. Of course, even the Hakase didn’t see the clues on the wall. They were really small after all. So the Agumon stood confidently and moved passed Scyrus.
“Hmph. Looks like your good for something after all.” The Hakase said to him.
So, The Hakase figured that he would need to step on the blue tiles in order to not set off any traps. He took his stepped his front foot on the blue tile and then he stepped forward and his foot landed another blue tile with his other foot. He kept moving forward, still walking on only the blue tiles, and so far, no traps. As he was walking, he started daydreaming about the energy source he would find at the end of the bridge. With it, he could finally power his robot so that he could finally rule the entire Digital World.
Unbeknownst to the Agumon during his daydream, he accidently stepped one of the red tiles. Suddenly another loud sound can be heard and the bridge started shaking. He looked back and saw the tiles from the start of the bridge falling down to the seemingly bottomless pit. The Hakase yelled out and started running across the bridge, ignoring which tile he was on. The tiles started falling faster and faster. NiseAgumon was getting close to the end of bridge as the tiles just under feet started to dropping down. He had no choice but to jump and reached for the edge of the pit. He barely managed to grab on, strugging to pull himself up. He was trying with all of his might, but he managed to pull himself up. He was panting and sweating profusely. It looks like he survived another trap. He looked around and see if that rabbit made it out too. After all, he was still need test out for more of those traps.

Scyrus looked at the Hakase indifferently as he made that comment and walked past him. He didn't really care much about whether this was a compliment or an insult, though it made him feel a bit better about himself. He noticed something about him as he walked in front of him...he was daydreaming? At least lost in thought, Scyrus cringed slightly as he felt something bad would happen, and it did. The Hakase had stepped on a red tile and an obvious trap was set. The bridge began collapsing from behind them, Scyrus began to hop from blue tile to blue tile quickly. Fortunately for him, he was naturally fast, so this trap wasnt that hard to overcome. The Agumon managed to jump out in time and so did Scyrus. As he finished panting slightly he looked at the Hakase meanecingly, his scythe floating closely to him , pointing at him.
"You trying to kill us?" Scyrus told him somewhat bothered, but sighed. "Just keep going, safer this time." He added.
After this little ordeal, Scyrus was really hoping this trip would be worthwhile as he continued walking forwards deeper into the ruins. The more he walked the more he could feel some kind of energy...It didn't feel quite inviting. Walking forwards in front, he made sure to spot out any possible traps, and also making sure that the Agumon could see them, he didnt want any more trouble now.
"Careful. Look"

The Hakase was still catching his breath from having to run through that falling bridge. Just how many of these traps are there in this forsaken ruins? If he wasn’t careful, he could get crushed or fall down a pit or something. He was slightly wondering if getting this power source would be worth his life..and he quickly answer that question with a yes. Once he finally got his second wind, the Agumon got back up and dusted off his robe. It seems that the rabbit made it through that trap too. He had gall to point his scythe tail at him and accused him of setting off that trap. This, of course, angered the Hakase greatly.
“What?! How dare you accuse me! Perhaps not all of the blue tiles were safe, you know!” The agumon yelled out. He growled angrily with black smoke coming out of his mouth. He would just have to stay patient and wait for the right moment to take the power source.
After walking for a bit, they made it over to another large chamber. There doesn’t seem to be any doors, so this seems like the last room in this ruin. In the middle of the chamber, there is a pedestal with a golden glowing statue on top. Instantly, the Hakase was keeping his eyes on it, knowing that this was the object that he seek. Without thinking, he pushed Scyrus aside and rushed up the steps to the pedestal. He snatched the statue and stared at it with greedy eyes.
“Yes! I finally have it! With this, I have the key of ruling over the entire Digital World! And it’s all mine! Mine! HAHAHA!”
Suddenly, the whole room started shaking violently. It was shaking so hard, parts of the ceiling started to collapses. One of the ceiling pieces was falling down towards the Hakase. He noticed it and leaped out of the way just in time. And with this, he started to run out of the room, holding the statue in his hands, and trying to escape from the ruin as fast as possible.

Scyrus sighed at the outburst of the Hakase. The smoke coming from his mouth. This was a prideful one wasnt it? Scyrus just had to put up with him until they reached the end, which wasnt long before they did. A large chamber with a single pedestal in the middle and atop it, a glowing statue.. Nothing said "I'm a trap." More than that single glowing statue...it didn't seem like it was something scyrus was looking for....it was just a plain old trap...surely the Agumon knew this mu-- He pushed Scyrus aside and ran directly to the statue. Oh no.
"Stop!" He growled out angrily but it was too late. The greed had taken him and he grabbed the statue. Shock shock, another trap! The room began collapsing, a piece of the ceiling began to fall to the Agumon but it managed to dodge it. This was dumb, this was terrible. If they made it out of this alive, Scyrus would give him a piece of his mind...but now, run.
Scyrus dashed out of the room and back towards were they came and remembered, what about that bridge they were on?! If its destroyed....how will they leave?! As he ran, Scyrus looked around looking for any exits or anything that could resemble a secret exit. The makers of this ruin should have a secret exit for themselves to leave. He noticed what seemed to be a brick sticking out a centimetre out of the wall. This had to be it. A button...should he call the Hakase? He's only brought trouble to him....he could leave him alone right? It would be okay? Right? Apparently he did have a conscience despite his usual way of being...maybe he forgot he had one.
"Here...!" He told him pointing at the button, but they needed to decide fast whether this was another trap or an exit...! The collapsing ruins was getting closer to them!

The ruins continue to collapse around him as the Hakase kept dodging the rock from the ceiling. How could all this have happened to him. This simple minded bunny was suppose to be the one to set off all of the traps but now he was the one that keeps edging towards death. Still, it was worth it get this golden glowing statue. This object just might have the required energy to run his most powerful robot. He felt like no one could be able to stop him now.
Of course, none of this matters if can’t find a way to get out of these ruins. He ran out of that room and back the previous one. He nearly fell down the bottomless pit, remembering that the bridge was broken. He was even more of a panic as he was looking for another way out. Then he saw that accursed rabbit next to a wall. It seems that he was pointing at something. This wasn’t the time to be playing games. Then he gotten closer and notice a brick slightly out of place. Maybe this was a button of some sort? He soon ran over and pressed the button without a second thought. Luckily it wasn’t a trap. the wall next to them moved upwards, revealing a path. NiseAgumon ran down this path as the ruin continue to fall around them.
The Hakase kept running down the path until he suddenly saw a bright light. Soon he made it back outside the entrance to the ruins. He could see his pseudo Mekanorimon, waiting for him. He ran over and panted, trying to catch his breath. He did it. He managed to make it out those ruins alive. At least he didn’t have to worry about destroying these ruins now. He wasn’t sure if that rabbit made it out, nor did he care. If he did made it out, he would have to spare him when he took over the digital world. So he got inside his mech and started it up. It soon started to rise into the air and flew over to the valley, as the Hakase held on to the statue tightly
