That boy was a word one indeed. He started to question Ankh's intentions, implying he was guilty of something. Vetina didn't know about Ankh, but she herself and Betty would not consider themselves as completely innocent ones who try to hold the moral high ground. And Ankh, well... he wanted world domination, of course.
Vetina started laughing, finding this attitude very comedic. No particular reason, it was just funny in some intangible way. Vetina would never deny herself being weird either. She spoke in a slightly teasing tone.
"What game do you play in tandem? A leery voice bawling betrayal? You're fishing, sans license, boy, so let the sea of 'what ifs' lay about."
"Yeah, Charles, what's with the accusations? You're acting like he's going to do something to you on a whim. Or is that spirit of yours, as Vetina brought up, being suspicious of Ankh?"

Oh, so the boy was still suspecting Ankh's intention. Well, if it was only for his spirit's direction. Ankh indeed wanted power, and if he want, he could strip away that spirit out of Charles' body. But he was trying to comprehend what was wrong with that boy. If he wanted, he could do it without taking away his life. Think about coup de grace.
"Honestly, I don't wanna do anything to you. I don't have anything to do with you, either so you better go before that guy is overtaking you." Ankh answered.
Betty seemed to be concerned as well, But if Charles still insisted... he could do this in hard way. To do it. Yeah, he was going to rip that spirit away from that brat if he went further, so watch out.
"If you want me so bad then go ahead. But you heard me, and I won't repeat myself." Ankh stated.

When Charles heard that Ankh didn't want to anything to him, he believed it. It made sense, why would anyone want anything from anyone like Charles? Betty was right: it wasn't good to just make accusations like this. Like Nightdramon.
"I think I'll follow your advice and just turn around and go like I was doing before. I'm sorry to bother you, there's just feeling I sometimes get when I encounter certain...types of people." Charles stated. He turned, yet just as he did, it ocurred to him: maybe the feeling wasn't about them wanting to do something to him, but rather something a lot worse. Charles fell to his knees, his whole body aching like ot wanted to burst. Packs of purple fog began to rise from his body, forming a fog dragon above him, before the fractal code unmerged from his device and wrapped both him and the dragon, leaving only Nightdramon where the two stood.
The dragon turned it's hateful gaze to Ankh, Vetina and Betty, muttering a single word:
"Guilty."

It seemed that Ankh had convinced Charles that, no, he did not wanttod anything with the guy. So he decided to quickly take his leave, stating he gets a feeling from certain kinds of people (perhaps demonic digimon). But he got as far as 'turn around' before his spirit activated, most likely that power that he was holding back deciding to show itself. But it seemed to glare at all of them, not just Ankh, and declared them guilty.
Betty gave a weary yawn, still tired from her work out. She really did not want to bother fighting anyone right now... thankfully Vetina and Ankh could take care of it if that dragon decided to attack them.
Vetina gave a stifled chuckle, a bit amused by this turn of events, and her body was still a bit tired from working out. She did not want to bother fighting anyone right now unless she really had to... thankfully Ankh could take care of it if that dragon decided to attack them.
"Looks like ethereal anal pain has obtained substance in form, hee hee. Stepping out for naught, pitching a verdict. What's a follow through? Numbered and ability we stand to your gaze.
Um...Betty, deign to transcribe?"
"How much of it, Vetina?"
"The all."
Betty muttered something to Vetina, asking her if she wanted the Nightdramon to attack, before translating Vetina's words for the dragon.
" 'Looks like you got so butthurt you decided to show up. And for what? You came out for nothing to give a verdict, but what next? We have numbers and strength on our side.'
Vetina's words... in a sense."

Well, looks like the boy heeded his words. He was just about to leave, and to leave these Digimons alone. However, something weird happened. It was like... the spirit inside him acted up against Charles' will. Could that mean...
Just then, Charles transformed into... an ominous-looking dragon of some sort. So... that was a being Charles tried to contain? Well, Ankh had expected that. Not to mention, that dragon claimed everyone else as "guilty". So... did he have to fight him after all?
"Talk about shit getting real." Ankh grunted displeased. He had to wait until the dragon attacked him, or else... "What do you want?!" Ankh returned the question Charles had asked to him to the dragon. It seemed that it was hostile... And Ankh and the others had to pay attention to the dragon, Nightdramon.

Nightdramon almost laughed at the mega`s over their responses. Such arrogant beings, thinking themselves so superior to him. And why not? It was two megas and an ultimate against a single beast spirit, so how could they loose? The answer was ignorance. He had seen things, heard things that would likely not be able to imagine. Nightdramon alone could see the true face if the world`s corruptcion. And he would not allow it to continue spreading like it did.
"Indeed your strength and numbers are beyond mine, so why not consider the reason I came out like this as a truly important one? I have a task to complete in this rotten world and I will forfill it. I`ve died once, and I`ll do so again if I have to. I`m sure you think that maybe you should have just killed the boy we`re using as a host, but you certainly should consider that he won`t come back. Unlike digimon, that human would just disappear forever, deleted in torment. And YOU would be responsible for it. Because even if I attack, there is no way I could defeat you, right?" Nightdramon said, his hatefull eyes staring into the other digimon "However, you don`t even know what I want yet. So let me explain. I wish to cleanse this world from corrupcion. I heard you have similar goals, Ankh, yet you target the ones you call "strong", rather than those corrupt. But let me tell you that corrupcion is everyone. We saw it. And corrupcion breeds wherever it exists, so much that I`m yet to see one single being without any deep guilt, though few face their crimes. You may think yourselves superior or as having moral highground, but it really is only petty vengeance, wrath and greed. And you. Must. Burn. For it. Pay for your crimes. Corrupcion can only be removed through pain."
Nightdramon flyed a bit upwards, waiting for the other digimon`s responses. Would these beings understand their own guilt? How could they, if they never saw the consequences of their greed and wrath? The true ones, that is.

Vetina listened to the Nightdramon intently, willing to let him exposit about guilt and corruption and what not. Sure, fighting Nightdramon would lead towards injury on the human's part, but that is assuming Vetina wanted to kill the guy. Would she fight him? Perhaps. But even then it would only be in self defense. As for understanding guilt... Vetina knows all about this. Her very being reminds her of her guilt. But she surely would not tell that dragon her past. It was not of his business.
Once he finished, Vetina rolled her eyes.
"A fancy pencil, you speak of, with no tip. And to my ears you feed me mere fluff of reason. Not even a substantial crumb. Dull, all around.
Your prattling winds to induce some reactivity seems perhaps ill-aimed. I am Vetina. I am none else. I carry all my baggage and not swing it to and fro, grunting. There's no branch, no pretense, to 'Vetina'. So berate me, you've a license, but only truthfully. Know your sword, your tongue, or stay a sounding fury of nothing. Just empty volition." Frankly, Vetina was unimpressed with the dark dragon's words
Meanwhile, Betty walked up to Ankh and nudged him. She spoke softly to him, saying, "Hey... I have to admit... I find watching them converse kinda amusing. How about you?"
