On a search to get stronger [Open]

Keramon was content with the form he has taken, he got to be happy about any battle he wins but it wasn't enough there were still stronger digimon out there. He knew that he could still get beaten by those who wanted if he didn't train to get stronger and he wasn't going to go through his past ever again. To get stronger he went into the Server Woods in search of digimon around his strength knowing champion digimon could beat him with ease he made sure to keep his guard up so he can get away if he needs to. He found a nice spot where the trees where spread apart enough that there was plenty of room to fight though the branches above him where large and long and the trees where tall leaving only a small bit of light passing through the leaves just enough that he could see around him and not get caught off guard. Keramon stayed still his constant wide grin and cheerful mood hiding his intentions of fighting any rookie digimon that may pass by with even the slightest fighting intent. He knew it might be anywhere between minutes or days until a digimon passed by willing to fight him but he was intent on waiting, he needed to get stronger for his own sake.

"...so, you are absolutely sure you do not need my help?
What do you mean I'm being overprotective? I'm just making sure.
Fine, fine, sorry I kept pressing the matter. Just be careful, Ghost. Keep me posted."
The Shoutmon ZX had sighed as she sat on a rock. Beverly had finished a mental conversation with her "other half", Ghost, whom was still aiding some other digimon. Being her other half Beverly does want Ghost's safety, but Ghost is indeed powerful enough to manage things. Bev didn't doubt this, but it doesn't hurt to make sure she was okay.
Caritas was still being repaired, although it is nearing completion. Beverly decided to take the time to visit her friend That Guilmon and his family, whom were somewhere in this forest as they tended to Lily's mobile restaurant. Not wanting to cause a scene by drawing attention to herself from any other customers, and wanting to take a scenic route, Beverly decided to go through the last stretch of the trip on foot in her Armor Champ form.
She wasn't alone, though. By her was her older (but far weaker) sister, Sinclair the PetitMamon. She was quiet through the whole trip and seemed rather bored. Only reason she came along is that she, too, wanted to visit That Guilmon. If only Beverly wasn't such a slowpoke about things...

Keramon had finally heard digimon passing through after what seemed like hours the only problem was there where two. He climbed up into a tree and went through the branches to get to them trying to figure out their strength. When he got to them he was both happy yet worried one was indeed a rookie around his strength but the other was from what he could tell a champion. This was not a very good situation but he started to think that maybe he could convince them to help him grow stronger. He now just needed to get their attention but how.
He knew he couldn't just jump in and surprise them otherwise they could simply attack him thinking he would fight first. Keramon thought a bit longer on it and finally decided something that might just work. He started laughing crazily as he headed back to where he was before making sure his laughs where more than loud enough to be heard by them. He didn't bother to look back to see if they were following he did not want to risk slowing down and taking a surprise attack from the champion. As he reached the more open area he stopped laughing and jumped down from the tree into the center of the area and looked back to where he figured they would come from if they followed him waiting again.

"Beverly can we at least fly there?"
"Ghost is doing fine, by the way."
"Of course that creepy little body snatcher is fine. Let's just go alre-"
There was some loud laughter from a short distance away, causing the two to look at the direction of where the Keramon fled. With her good eyesight, Sinclair had saw a fleeing figure, but not what he was.
"Now there's some guy trying to lead us into a trap. I've been a mercenary too long to... Bev!"
Beverly had walked towards where the Keramon went, brandishing her mic stand. "You always talk about how bored you get in Caritas. How about you build up a bit a strength?"
Beverly could easily make out that look on her older sister's face as her deciding whether or not to go ahead or to fight the guy. It didn't take too long, though, before the PetitMamon went over with her sister.
"I don't want whomever it is following us to Lilly's. Last thing we need is to give her trouble. Let's go!"
They quickly ran thrugh the trees until they saw an opening, where a lone Keramon had stood... floated. Beverly was a bit disappointed.
"For a second I thought you were someone I knew... but I can tell you aren't who are you?"

Keramon’s constant grin grew a bit seeing that they followed him. “I am Keramon, who are you two?” he said in a cheerful way keeping his guard up in the least noticeable way he can. He was a bit worried about the champion seeing that she followed him into what could have been a trap must mean she is strong enough to not worry about that. He didn't want to take up too much of their time with small talk so he figured it might be best to get to the real reason he grabbed their attention.
“I am sorry for bothering you two but as you can tell I am weak. I want to grow stronger and I can’t really give a good reason on why, so what do you say mind helping a weak digimon like me? I give my word I will not bother you any further if you say no.”
He paid close attention to their reaction hoping it would be a good one and they wouldn't be too mad about his selfishness. He didn't want to force anything on them or make it seem like he is being forceful so he let his guard down to show he wouldn't bother them any further if they said no.

(((Just realized I used the wrong color for Sinclair)))
The sisters watched and listened to the Keramon as he explained his situation. Beverly herself scratched her head as the Keramon gave his name. This would be the 3rd Keramon she knew and the second of which that went by "Keramon". Kind of awkward. That Guilmon would find this situation hilarious.
"I am Lady Beverly of Caritas in Whitewater. My cohort here is Sinclair. If all you want was a spar, you could have just said so. Almost all digimon have a drive to get stronger.
That being said, I know you're not even approaching my league just by looking at you, unless you want me to go easy on you. So I guess Sin here could go a round or two with you."
"Why not Lily? I'm sure she'd love to train him, and we're heading over there in the first place."
"She would probably beat him in her sleep. Wouldn't be the first time she fought someone while sleep walking, heh heh. Come on, afraid he'll beat you up?"
"Pah... I guess a spar is better than a hostile attack. "
Keramon had the choice to choose who to fight... Sinclair, or Beverly holding back?

Keramon was very happy with their response and he paid as close attention as he could to everything they said to him. He was even more please when he heard he got to choose who to fight though it is a tough choice. If he fought Beverly while she held back he knew he couldn’t win but it would be a good experience and if he chose Sinclair he had the chance to win at least 1 time though it’s still unlikely. Keramon had not been in many fights before and he still was not use to his rookie form.
He looked over to Sinclair “I would like to fight with you if you don’t mind.” He thought about what attacks the petitmamon might have and figured that he would be at a large disadvantage but if he backed down from a fair fighting chance like this he might never get strong.
Keramon waited to hear what Sinclair would say or do he figured she would say yes but it never hurt to be sure. This Lily person has him intrigued though judging by them she might love to train him, he might consider asking about her when they are bored of helping him.

Beverly chuckled and crossed her arms. Of course Sinclair was the obvious opponent. She was weaker and, well, Beverly refused to go back to her rookie stage.
"Haha, looks like I scared him off. Oh well... go on, Sinclair... it's been a while since I saw you fi-"
"If you don't mind, let's not bring up the past in this."
Beverly knew what was up. Sinclair did lose a good chunk of power thanks to that slimy Tweek a while back, and seeing how powerful her little sister was had made her have a bit of an inferiority complex.
But right now, Sin had a spar to tend to. A baton formed in her as she slowly twirled it around.
"Keep in mind, Keramon, that Beverly will toy with you, but I can afford to do my best against you. Ready?"

Keramon was already starting to grow interested in these two it seemed that they have a lot of history together though he didn't plan to pester them about it. His constant grin turned more menacing as he readied himself for the fight. “I don’t expect you to toy around with me, of course I’m ready.” He didn't want to stall much longer he has waited far too long. He knew that Sinclair had far more battle experience so his best bet was to attack first. “I hope that you are ready Sinclair.” Keramon thought quickly about his best option for attack, he could either go head on or try to surprise her. She must have a good amount of strength so head on didn't seem very wise to him so he went with the latter option. He blew out a cloud of poisonous gas towards Sinclair knowing it wouldn't hit but he needed a distraction to get the first hit. “Crazy smoke!” As he finished creating the smoke he dashed far around the poisonous cloud then towards Sinclair hoping that the smoke was a good enough distraction readying a slap and swinging fairly hard at her. He considered going for a punch but his fingers are fairly long so he figured that a slap was more likely to actually hit and stop if it missed.

Beverly had backed off, sitting down and watching the spar. It was kind of funny... that other Keramon named Keramon she met, she sparred with. This was almost Deja'Vu, except they fought in their Ultimate forms.
Sin was about to strike first, but Keramon decided to go first. Fair enough. He blew out a gas cloud towards her, which she avoided. But she kept her guard up. Sinclair knew what he was doing, as she saw the Keramon dash to the side around the smoke thanks to her special sight ability. So she would let him try to get a surprise attack in, allowing her to get a proper counter in.
Using her baton, she would block the slap and counter by hopping slightly to deliver a hook to his jaw. Regardless if it hit or not, she would next grab one of his tentacles to try to throw him onto the ground.
"Of course I'm ready! Don't get sloppy!

Keramon was not too surprised with the block. He had guessed that she would have a lot of battle experience and he was hoping to get in an attack though so that was a bit upsetting. He was thinking of what to do next when he saw an attack aimed for his jaw out of the corner of his eye and quickly got an idea though it will hurt a bit.
He took the attack but instead of letting it hit him directly he used it to spin around. As he started spinning he saw her go to grab one of his tentacles. He then extended both arms out and upped his spinning speed. “Crazy turn!” He yelled out as he started spinning rapidly with his arms out in opposite directions. He was not completely expecting to hit Sinclair but he had to make some kind of defense.
“Don’t worry, a beginner like me has no way to get sloppy only better.” He said as he watched for her next move through his spinning. Although he didn’t have much more he could do if she has a counter for this. He might have to take a head on attack but crazy turn was his best option.

She saw him roll with the punch, but one he started spinning she simply rolled out the way, leaving his tentacles alone. If he's going to be spinning like that holding on to him wouldn't be the best idea.
Her face was serious, but not gravely serious. She took this spar seriously, not wanting to quip. Quiping is not a thing mercs should do to anyone without a means to defend themselves. Who knows what will tick someone off.
She quickly got back onto her feet and gripped her baton, looking at him. She made a mental note as to what he's done so far, but she needs a bit more to see what he is capable of. So, she decided how he fared with projectiles, something she was far more used to than melee attacks.
"PetitNightmare!" She threw her baton at Keramon. Or, more specifically, at his feet. The resulting explosion would knock him knock him upwards into the air, which would grant Sinclair a good chance for a follow up.

Keramon stopped spinning as Sinclair got up watching to see what she might do next. He was having a lot of fun and the fight was just getting started. He lowered his arms and kept his guard up as she gripped her baton. Keramon might not be experienced but he was smart enough to at least be wary of any attacks an experienced digimon like Sinclair could do.
As he saw her throw her baton he got a bit confused, she hadn’t thrown it right at him just to his feet. He didn’t want to find out what it was so he dashed quickly to the side. As he was dashing the baton hit the ground and blew up. Keramon looked towards where the baton was a bit confused but happy he dashed away. If an explosion like that had hit it wouldn’t have ended well.
He finally got to see an example of her abilities though not enough to know how to fight her well. Now was not the time to be surprised about her attack though. "Crazy smoke!" He blew out poisonous smoke in Sinclair's direction and ran back a few meters. He paid close attention to and around the smoke making sure she couldn't catch him with a big surprise attack.

Keramon dodged, but Sinclair was not defenseless, as her baton reformed in her hand right after the explosion. She made an approach, but was stopped by another poison cloud. She backed off and examined him.
He seemed quite defensive in his attacks, so far not going on the offensive. He did say he was new at this, so that's not surprising. He's too nervous to go out on the offensive. Which wasn't so bad for her except for the poison clouds giving him a wide berth to see her approach.
"PetitCrackdown!
Three dolls of different colors and weapons were formed, and flew through the poison gas. During which time Sinclair would go around the gas.
The bat weilding doll would try to hit him over the head, the gun weilding doll would shoot 6 cork bullets at Keramon, and the tazer weilding doll would taze him, keeping him down for a moment.

Keramon watched at the 3 dolls came out of the gas paying attention to their weapons. One had a bat and the other a tazer but there was one that seemed to have a gun. He had to think fast but just then out of the corner of his eye he saw Sinclair going around. It did worry him but he had to minimize his damage so he extended his arms out and span around rather fast “Crazy turn!” He took the six cork shots 2 of them hitting his hands as he was spinning but he didn’t let himself slow down or stop. At the very least he aimed to keep the bat and tazer holding dolls from getting him.
While he was spinning he used it to keep an eye on Sinclair and keep his guard up. The 3 dolls seemed to be an ability of Sinclair’s so when they are done he assumed they would just disappear but he didn’t let himself slow down just yet until it is confirmed. The shots he took where hurting though so his concentration was a bit lower but not enough to get in the way of paying attention to Sinclair.
