"I get it, really I do. You want any info you can get to save your brother. If I could, I'd tell you everything. "
Ghost went back to eating her fish, while Crystal asked Sanoske the limits of his illusion-making powers. The Gazimon closed his eyes and and concentrated. This would be more complicated than a simple basket or net; this was a copy of Crystal.
Said copy formed next to Crystal. Having spent a lot of time with her as of late, he was confident that he could mimic her appearance and voice to near perfection (of course, he would need a bit of practice as well). However, the illusion was still somewhat transparent. Not outright ghostly, but enough for anyone to see through it. The fake-Crystal then began to speak.
"Well, I'd say I could probably, with a bit of practice, make an exact copy of you in appearance and voice. Time is no issue with this, as this can be maintained as long as I need too unless he attacks it, and it's solid..."
The illusion drew her foot through the ground, parting a small amount of dirt as she did so.
"Unfortunately, you can see through this illusion. I haven't worked that out just yet."

Crystal was a little surprise to see a copy of her appear right next to her. While she had asked if Sanoske would be able to make one, she didn't expect him to give her an example. Especially not one with her voice. However, once she got over her initial shock, she was able to observe her copy more closely. Other then a few minor details, it was pretty accurate. Now to just figure out the translucent part out.
"What if we filled her up with dirt or something? Do you think that may work?" She asked as she evaluated her double. This plan she's coming up with could possibly work.

"Fill this up with dirt? Huh, that just might actually work."
Sanoske opened his eyes and started clawing the ground near the Crystals. He wanted to get a good complexion of dirt, and as such pushed aside any grass he saw. Once he got up more than enough loose dirt, not-Crystal removed her head, and her insides were now hollow.
"Well, I can do fish, what's a bit of dirt? Mind filling me.. er... this up with dirt? And don't pack too tightly."
"I got it."
Ghost got back up and started filling not-Crystal up with dirt. Being the smallest of the group, this process wouldn't have taken too long to fill up the head and body of the illusion. All the while Sanoske was also having the illusion move about and getting the dirt to settle in her arms, legs, and ears.
Once they were done, not-Crys replaced her head and turned in place.
"So, how close am I looking and sounding like the real thing?"

Well this was unsettling. Crystal was still having trouble getting over the fact that the illusion had her voice, so watching her remove her head like that was a new thing entirely. The lopmon found herself having to remind herself that it was just a fake. Fortunately she was able to keep her calm during all this. Even if she was weirded out by it.
Taking a look at the new and improved illusion, Crystal nod approvingly. "I think this may just work." She said optimistically. As a reward, she grabbed a few of the fish that were finish cooking, and handed them to both Ghost and Sanoske.
"Okay. I figured out my part, and I figured out Sanoske's part. Now to just figure out how to get Ghost in close without that body snatcher expecting a thing. Hmm..." Crystal seem to have been trapped in deep thought before she turned around towards Ghost asking, "If you were the Hylden within Pure, how far do you think someone like you could get without you suspecting?"

Mmm, more fish! The two began eating their food, Sanoske being quite proud that his dirt filled illusion was to Crystal's liking. ^Thank you, sweetie.^
Finally was the method in which to get Ghost up close to Mel. To answer her statement... Ghost shrugged. " Sorry, I have no idea how far that Hylden could sense me. But...
*sigh*
I've been thinking about it... I will need the help of my Mistress..."
Sanoske's expression was shocked for a moment. Her mistress? The one who created Ghost? Given his own feelings about his creator, seeing Ghost's had made him a bit frightened. But he shook his head... if she was highly respected by Ghost, she shouldn't be that bad, right?
^Sorry... I am fine... just...^
"I get it. But without her I don't know if I can pull off going from one form to the other and be able to free Pure.
I've, uh... also already told her. Telepathic connection. She'll be here shortly. Sanoske... she's not a bad mistress. She's kind to me. Please be nice to her."
Sanoske nodded. It would, indeed, be unfair to judge Beverly based on what his own creator did. In any case, he continued on with his fish.

"So your mistress is already on her way. I wonder if we got enough fish for her too?" Crystal said out loud as she looked over at the fish they had caught. Should she prepare more just in case.
That said, she wasn't unaware of Sanoske's plight. It was no secret to her that Sanoske didn't like his creator, and this dislike had spread to other such creators. Hopefully Sanoske's feelings for his creator won't overwhelm him during this mission. They need everyone in top if they were to succeed.
"Sweetie. How about we practice getting the fake me's movement down while we wait for Ghost's mistress to arrive? We need to make sure this is as close to perfect as possible so that the Hylden doesn't suspect a thing. Then once she arrives, I'll share with you what my plan is." She said before taking a bit from her fish.

Thankfully, this lapse into worry did not effect the illusion. Ghost's mistress was coming, and unjustified suspicions shouldn't cause Crystal to lose her brother. When prompted, he nodded in agreement to Crystal's preposition. Indeed, Not-Crystal needed training.
After he finished his fish, of course. ---
It was nearly a half hour later by this point. Of course, Sanoske wouldn't have expected "Mistress" to come within a few seconds. They were a good distance away from Whitewater city, after all. During the wait, the fish was finished up (and received great praise from the winged Gazimon), and Not-Crystal was refined, in movement and look, putting more effort into it without straining himself.
It was kind of weird, working so hard on a copy of his love. But he'd do anything for her.
Just then, Sanoske saw a distant shine in the distance, rapidly getting closer. He feared it was some opposition, but Ghost stood up, gleefully smiling. This was, apparently, the mistress Ghost mentioned.
The figure quickly arrived... a gold clad reptilian digimon, Shoutmon OX. She stopped, and examined Sanoske, his illusion, and Crystal. Sanoske looked back, feeling some unease towards her.
" I must admit, this must be quite the delicate operation if me *and* Ghost have to intervene. But I wholeheartedly understand the magnitude of this situation. Ghost calls me Mistress, but I am Lady Beverly of Caritas.
You're Crystal... well, one of you are. I'm sure Ghost had told you about me. So you know that I, too, had a loved one afflicted by a Hylden before.
Comparatively, you got it good, and I'm going to ensure it'll get no worse.
As for you, Sanoske... Ghost has also told me about you in detail."

As the two practiced with Sanoske's illusion of her, Crystal had an idea to test Sanoske's illusion out. "Honey. Why don't we try to see how good your illusion is when our guest gets here? Just follow my lead." She told him in a soft whisper and a wink, hoping that Ghost won't overhear. She has no idea how far Ghost's telekinesis with Beverly goes, and didn't want to ruin the surprise early.
After several more minutes of training, the fish was nearly out. Crystal was careful to keep one to the side explaining, "This is for Pure when we finally rescue him. Who know's how hungry he'll be when this is all done." This statement was her way of confirming that her plan will work. They will save Pure by the end of today.
Crystal then took notice that something had the attention of both her companions. She turned towards where they were facing to see a shine in the distance. A shine that soon revealed itself to be a Shoutmon OX, or more importantly, Ghost's mistress Beverly. Crystal had to admit she was surprise how quickly she got here. It took them days, if not weeks, of travel to get here, and she seemingly got here in a half hour. Did she truly travel all the way here in such short span of time, or was she travelling already, keeping a careful eye on Ghost just in case she is needed.
Whatever the case, she was here now, and so it was time to put Sanoske's illusion to the test. "Hello Ms. Beverly. We have a favor to ask you real quick." She stopped, hoping Sanoske would take the cue. This wasn't just a test to see how good Sanoske's illusion actually is, but to also to see how well Sanoske is able to work under stress. If he's not able to deal with this, they will have some trouble when it comes to the actually plan taking place.

Sanoske didn't reply to Beverly's statement about Ghost having told her all about him. Thinking about it, it was probably for the best. As long as he didn't have to hear that name...
He took his mind off that, though, quickly enough. He had to address the Shoutmon OX in front of him. Crystal started by wanting to ask a favor of Bev. Knowing Crystal's plan, notCrystal also spoke up.
"We've been trying to practice Sanoske's mimicry skills so we can fool that Hylden..."
"Yes, Ghost had told me. Your illusion skills are quite impressive, I'll admit that much, Sanoske. I'm guessing you want to see if I can tell the difference between you two, right?"
As they spoke, Ghost merely watched. She wouldn't want to ruin the surprise either.

Crystal nodded in response, hoping that notCrystal would do so at the same time. She admits that this requires a bit of improve on Sanoske's part, but she was curious how well he truly knew her. Could he fully impersonate her to fool people? If so, this could prove to be a pretty interesting trick they could use even after they save Pure. She has a lot of pranks to make up for sense he's gone missing.
Still, something in the back of her mind is worried. Could Pure see through there disguise? And if by chance he does, would he reveal it? She doesn't want to think he would, but she has no idea what kind of hold that Hylden has over him. It's completely possible that this could all end up backfiring, and if so, she has to be prepared for plan B.

notCrystal also nodded in affirmation. And thus, Beverly had to see if she could tell which was which.
"Well, let's just say I have an eye for spotting illusions. You're the fake one, if only because the real one spoke first. If you were going to test me..."
Beverly had picked notCrystal, but there was no response for a moment. Just a small smile.
"Actually, it's that one. That Crystal is the fake one." notCrystal pointed to the real deal, walking up to her and behind her, placing her hands on her ears.
"Sanoske has worked quite hard on this illusion. If you couldn't tell the difference... then I guess all this worked, huh?"
Thank you for helping us in this little experiment, Ms. Beverly. I'm so happy we're so close to getting my brother back! "
Beverly was none the wiser, having no reason to believe that they would lie to her about which was the real or fake one.

Crystal was honestly surprise how quickly Beverly appeared to find them out. Perhaps she should have let notCrystal take the lead instead. Yet it seemed to not matter as Sanoske decided to not let the gig up yet, having the fake one claim that she was in fact real. Crystal was quite impressed. She didn't knew Sanoske could pull something like that off, and found herself falling for him just a little bit more then she already has.
"I guess that shows all our hard work wasn't for nothing Crystal." She said playing along with Sanoske, "With this trick. We'll get your brother back in no time." She faked a smile towards the fake Crystal, trying to figure out how to keep up the charade while explaining the plan to Bev. No doubt she will want to know what her part in this plan is going to be.

Ghost giggled. She had to admit, if she wasn't watching them before Bev got here, perhaps she wouldn't have told the difference as well. Nice swerve on Sanoske's part. For someone who disliked his creator, he certainly got a very good grasp of his creator's skillset. At least, she was assuming, based on all she heard about Byakko.
notCrystal nodded back to Crystal, still wanting to continue this charade as well.
"Alright, let's get to the plan..."
"Me and Ghost also discussed this on the way here. I sneak in while Ghost is within me. While she is a part of me the Hylden energy cannot be sensed, I believe. Just give me enough time to get in close. I have to be careful about his ears, though.

"Yeah. Crystal and I spoke about it some as well. Apparently I'm going to be distracting this Hylden while Crystal sneaks in and steal that weird gun thing he has. Once she accomplishes that, checkmate. Right Crystal?" She explained to the others. Of course there was a bit more to the plan then that, but she couldn't exactly share it all without foregoing the charade.
Still there was something that worried her. What exactly was he doing in that building of his, and why did it give her bad feeling? Maybe she should check it out before going in for the steal. It might also work as a plan B in case that Hylden somehow sees through her plan.

Sanoske was getting a bit surprised at how long they were maintaining this little mixup of theirs. notCrystal had nodded in affirmation towards the real Crystal, and then faced Sanoske himself.
"Yes. You, Sanoske, will distract the Hylden, Beverly gets Ghost close enough to get him out of my brother, and I will sneak in to get his, for lack of a better term, anti-hylden ray.
But as Beverly said, try to be quiet. Me and Pure have very good ears, and that Hylden probably has use of them as well.
As an aside, I am curious as to what he's doing in that building. I doubt any good would come from it, though."
"So, the question is, how soon can we start this plan? While I would gladly help you, I'd rather not waste time unnecessarily. My Garm and I were considering a date tonight."
