Rest Stop: Figuring Things to Come (Sanoske/invite)

Having finished his food already, Sanoske could only watch the siblings talk. Crystal had only half recounted the time she regained her memories, leaving out that dark digivolution she had done. If Pure didn't know about it, Sanoske wasn't going to hint at the issue himself. He had nothing to really say, especially about the time of the attack.
But he tried anyway.
^Maybe one day we can, I do not know... do our own caravan? Although I do not know quite how it goes within the caravan. But perhaps it might be a good idea to start up a new one for old times sake? Maybe I can be an attraction... The Gazimon who can hold his breath forever.
Oh... never mind. I am just blathering.^
The large Gazimon woofed a bit, scratching his head more out of engrained habit than anything.
^I should get more hotdogs...^

Crystal gave Sanoske a little smile when he brought that up. "Maybe once all this craziness is over, we should start our own caravan. Going from town to town. Making a living by trading goods wherever we go. It'd be nice." She said as she began to daydream about it. Sadly though, there was a part of here that knew that dream was still a long ways off.
"That would be nice." Pure agreed. Yet it would never be the same without the others there with us.
"We would need to find more people though. It's hard to make an effective caravan with only three people." Crystal pointed out.
"Yeah."

^ Well... might be four and a half, really. I mean, Mel will certainly be a part of this if he is still around, as well as his sister, and both get their own bodies. And I count as a half a digimon, being generous. So maybe four and a half digimon.
But, yes, we should get more hands once we start. Perhaps we can get some advice from Lilly? She basically has a caravan herself, no? And as far as I know, she regularly works with 3 others, with Tab and that BlackGuilmon helping out on occasion. I could be wrong though, but at best that's 6 people. And I guess we are already halfway there so it could maybe work out.
I am unsure what service we could provide. What did you two provide during your time at the caravan?^

Crystal didn't forget about Mel and his sister. She just choose to believe they would go off on their own once everything was over with. Yet as long as Mel is within Pure's body, she guessed he's going to count as part of their group, and his sister is probably going to come along with them as well.
"Please don't call yourself half a digimon." Crystal said as she hugged Sanoske, "I told you already. Your as much a digimon as anyone is." She hated it when Sanoske looks down on himself like that. It didn't matter to her that he was an illusion made real, he was still her Sanoske.
"Uhh... Yeah. Moving forward from all this lovey dovey stuff. Me and Crystal..."
"Crystal and I." Crystal corrected.
"Ugh... Crystal and I were a part of a Caravan that traded goods between all the major cities. We usually traded handmade stuff. Trinkets and other knickknacks that you normally couldn't get otherwise unless you traveled to the place they are made yourself." Pure explained, "We could do something like that with the five of us. The problem would be how we start something like this out."
"We'll figure out all that stuff later. This is just a dream of ours anyways. No need to get ahead of ourselves before we even know it possible." Crystal pointed out before finishing her sandwich.

Sanoske growled softly as Crystal hugged him. As much as she was trying to be kind to him and not have him look down on himself, he couldn't not think of himself as less than a digimon. Sure, being a sentient solid illusion was nothing to scoff at, and he wouldn't deny that he was at least, in part, a digimon... but that's the extent of it. He was constantly reminded of this fact by simply existing and wishing to not be his creator.
After some grammar correction, Pure told Sanoske about what they sold, but Crystal mentioned something about dreams... that word that floated around the back of Sanoske's head on occasion.
^This is... embarrassing, but I need to ask... what constitutes a "dream" anyway? I know of the word but I never really grasped the meaning of it. I know I had gotten the egg of dreams but... I guess I never really put into thought into what that was at the time...^

"You don't know what a dream is?" Pure said with some surprise in his voice. He knew that Sanoske was strange, but this was something else to the terriermon.
Crystal shot Pure a look that told him to be quiet before saying, "A dream is... Well... It's hard to explain." She said as she tried to think of a good way to explain it to Sanoske, "Have you ever found yourself somewhere else while you were asleep. Somewhere familiar, but different and otherworldly. A fantasy that you made of your own. That's what a dream is." Her eyes then shifted upward to look into Sanoske's, "It's something we wish to strive for, no matter how unrealistic it actually is."

The Gazimon wasn't really bothered by Pure's reaction. However, Crystals definition was initially a tad confusing for the Gazimon.
^I am aware of nothing while I sleep as far as I know. No... otherworldy fantasies or the like. Given my sleep habits I assumed it was different from any normal digimon, and that my sleep was closer to those times when I was a less developed illusion where I could spend hours or days without being aware of myself. Thankfully that no longer happens.
Anyway, it is some fantasy based on some goal while one sleeps. That sounds interesting. I guess that means...^
He paused for a bit, going over what he was about to say in his head first. He was admittedly afraid to say it out loud, but he was among love and a friend. Crystal especially understood what he was more than anyone else, he felt.
^...I guess I am... Byakko's dream. A dream given physical form as he lays trapped, sleeping. An accidental avatar of sorts made to travel the digital world, giving him the closest thing to freedom he could experience.
Well... I should probably explain, I am not his first "accidental" creation of a sentient illusion, this much I am certain. I am just the one that managed to live the longest and develop the most due to him being contained. His illusion abilities became so great that he had subconsciously created "fake" digimon with actual wills. But he reserved the right eliminate such "fake" digimon, although I can not say I absolutely knew his reasoning.
...That is some tangent I went off on.^

"So then. If he's to ever waken. He's likely to try to kill you." Pure said slightly scared. It wasn't comforting to know the being could wake up any moment now and attack them to eliminate Sanoske.
Crystal seemed slightly worried too, but not as much as Pure was. "Sanoske. If your his dream, does that mean that your creator is able to see things through your eyes? That he would know about us?" She asked, wanting to know more about Sanoske's creator. As she sees it, the more she can glean from him, the more likely she would be at preventing him from killing Sanoske.

Sanoske growled, nodding in affirmation towards Pure's answer. He had no reason to assume Byakko would allow Sanoske to exist if he himself were freed. He nodded at Crystal's question as well, expounding on it.
^Yes. It is one of the first things I "realized" about myself. I can not say for certain how much he sees through me, but I know... I feel like I know that he is aware of what I am to some capacity. It is why I gotten the egg of Dreams, or perhaps some facsimile of it.
So he most likely knows about us and our experiences. ^

"That's kind of creepy." Crystal admitted with a shiver. The thought that Byakko was somewhat aware of everything they do was not a pleasant thought. Perhaps it was a good thing they held off officially starting their relationship until now.
"From the sounds of it. I'm guessing there's no chance this guy would help us with Mel."
"Even if he could, he probably wouldn't, and that is for the best. Now let's stop talking about him. I'm sure Sanoske is starting to feel a little uncomfortable."
"Oh Uhh... Right..."
Crystal turned towards Sanoske with a smile on her face. "Now back to the topic at hand. Sanoske, just find something you want more then anything, and make that your dream. I promise you that I will do everything in my power to make it happen."

Yes, he was getting a bit uncomfortable, knowing that it was himself who brought it up in the first place. Granted, he knew Byakko wouldn't be able to help even if he wanted. Not while sealed in the Sea of Blood, essentially in a coma dreaming Sanoske up.
The Gazimon thought bout his "dream". Something he wanted more than anything...
^I do not know, Crystal. Pure already gets weirded out enough if we get too... cute with each other. Being smaller would be nice to for that purpose. I do not want to smother you.
Or maybe you could be bigger.
And I would need a banana, some whipped cream, and cherries.
I guess Pure could join in if he wanted.
And an octopus... no, no never mind...^
At this point, Sanoske was just speaking outloud.

The twins just sat there dumbsighted as Sanoske began to list things. They just couldn't believe what they were hearing.
"You perv." Pure announced, not liking the thought that were now filling his head.
Crystal just turned and gave him a strange look though. "What are you talking about Pure. He just want's an ice cream sundae." She informed him innocently.
"Wait what?" He looked at Sanoske then at Crystal then back to Sanoske, "I.. I knew that. Of course I knew that. It's just..." Crystal chuckled as she could see her brother's mind racing to find an excuse. "I wasn't sure you understood what he meant. So I went to your defense just in case." He finally decided to say.
"Of course you were." She said trying her best to stiffle her chuckling. It was so much fun watching her brother squirm.

Woof?
Sanoske was now completely lost. Especially since Crystal corrected him, having no idea what implications Pure thought of.
^Pure, I... I have not the slightest clue what you thought I meant. I thought it was pretty clear I was referring to eating food. I... kind of wanted to try out an ice cream sundae for a while, but never had the chance to. And I thought it would be nice to eat octopus as well. Seems exotic and might be neat to try.
And I wanted to eat it with Crystal to end a nice dinner. I considered including you as well, try to strengthen our bond and maybe, just maybe become friends. To just enjoy life with the two of you. But it seems you keep thinking up lewd acts I might be doing to her.
You are trying to ruin my dream and, sadly, I must extract you and the octopus from it. You are terrible. I hope you enjoy your octopus.^

Crystal couldn't help, but continue to chuckle as Sanoske berated Pure. And it was all the funnier as Sanoske seemed to not understand what Pure thought the Gazimon meant. In all honesty, she had similar lewd thoughts as Pure did when Sanoske listed his wish list. She just had the sense to not mention anything about it out loud.
"Why do I get the octopus?" Pure said depressed before taking note of his sisters laughing, "What so funny?"
"It's great to have you back Pure." Was all she said as she began to calm herself down. After a few seconds, she fully regained her senses and said, "Okay Sanoske. Let's see about getting that sundae for you."

"We don't serve sundaes, by the way! Sorry."[/black]
Sanoske suddenly turned to the BlackGuilmon, who overheard them as he was walking out the restaurant. Giving a disappointed whimper, he turned back around. He paid little mind to whether or not That intentionally eavesdropped on them, not that it really matters now, as nothing particularly private was said beyond Pure having a dirty mind.
^Fine. I will wait. I am a patient illusion.
So, what dreams do you two have, exactly? I am becoming a bit curious.^
