It was a fairly long trip to the city of Whitewater. Garm had to admit, he had planned to stay in the dark area a while longer, but given the current situation he decided to escort Salla, Artemis, and Korra back home. Besides, his trip was a personal one, and he couldn’t simply tell them that he couldn’t come “just because”. Best return here a bit earlier instead. It was a fairly uneventful train ride. By habit Garm found himself preoccupied with his own thoughts more than anything. Once at Whitewater, Garm took them directly to Caritas. It was almost noon, so at this point there would be no others around except, at most, a couple employees and a guest or two. The tables and chairs would be new to Korra, although Garm already told her that the place got waterlogged after some digimon caused a tidal wave. The club itself was empty, but shortly after entering Beverly came down from the upper floor, in her Galaclivamon form and dressed in red pajamas. She looked quite tired and was sipping out of a slightly large sized coffee mug. ”Garm? You’re back early, honey. *Yaaaawwn* Judging from the group you’ve brought in, either you got some temp workers for me or something is wrong. Oh and hi, Nanaaru. Sorry I’m not quite decent for you. Everyone else is out and I had a very busy night. So, how may ol’ Lady Beverly help you guys?”

Salla and Artemis stared at Korra after hearing Beverly call her a different name. "Oh yeah, we never got properly acquainted, did we?" Korra asked the Tamer and her Digimon. "Apparently not," Salla replied. Korra threw what appeared be smoke bomb into the floor, causing a cloud of smoke to obscure her from everyone's sight. When the smoke cloud dissipated, Salla and Artemis were face with what appeared to be a blue fox anthro with violet eyes. She was no longer wearing any clothes aside from her black sleeves, not that she really needed any to begin with.
Seeing her somewhat unsettling appearance, Salla and Artemis now understood why she wore something to make her seem more friendly to visitors. "My real name is Nanaaru, and I'm an Arcane Renamon," Nanaaru introduced herself. "Anyway, Beverly, this Tamer is named Salla, and this is her Digimon partner, Artemis. If you don't mind, they would like to stay here for awhile," she told the Super Mega. "I'm sure whatever work you would have us do would beat being locked in a dungeon for almost a month," Salla stated. As another plus, it would help her get more used to this world.

Beverly continued down stairs and sat in one of the chairs, crossing her legs and sipping more of her coffee as Korra shown her true appearance. Garm had also interjected, "Korra was an alias she went by." The club owner nodded in response.
The group needed a place to stay for some time. Giving it a bit of thought, she nodded slightly.
"I'd hope this place would be better than any dungeon."
"Also, Artemis and Salla know Vetina. She was the one who rescued them from the prison."
"I see. I've talked to her recently, actually. But enough about that... *yawn* I'll let you three work here for room and board. 'Korra' can help you get used to this place since she worked here in the past, but I want to tell you two basic rules.
As a general rule of thumb, 'be reasonable'. You're a guest in my business and my home, don't make me regret it. And do not set foot in my room for any reason. Even if I'm in there and you need me you do not take a single foot in the room. It's my personal sanctuary so I'd hope you'd respect it. I've made exceptions for only 3 digimon, and one of them is standing right by you girls.

Salla nodded. While she was irresponsible, she understood the rules. There was, however, one important question both she and Artemis needed answered. "Yeah, what kind of work will we be doing?" she asked, never having been to a nightclub before. Of course Artemis hadn't been to one either, or at least not in her current life.

"Well, it depends if you're a night owl or not. If you can't really handle spending most of the night awake and alert, or if you just can't really handle crowds, then I'll just give you janitorial duties or take inventory for the most part. Maybe have you tend to a few orders if need be.
But if you do stay up, you might do some minor clean-up duty but for the most part you'll act as waitresses. Take orders, serve snacks and drinks, or relay information to me if it comes to that. There's some other things but we can go over that later.
In either case I will also ask of you to run some simple errands like grocery shopping for our personal use.
Oh, upstairs is comprised of a kitchen, my room, 2 bathrooms, another room for two others, Saibot and Fishy who also work and live here, and 2 other guest bedrooms. And I would prefer you three share a bedroom if possible, on the off chance someone else needs one. But if you do not find the furnishings adequate there are some inns relatively close by you can go to, although the most you'll get is a discount as far as costs go."
After all that Beverly clasped her hands together and chuckled. "That should be it. Unless you have any other questions. If not, feel free to familiarize yourself with most of this building."

Salla took a few moments. On one hand, she didn't want to end up wearing a girly uniform as a waitress. On the other hand, she was probably going to end up stay up either way. May as well be a waitress so she could at least have some free time during the day. Then again, she didn't have any of her "nicer" shirts with her as she had no idea she would end up in this world, let alone work at a nightclub.
"There is one more. Are there any uniforms? Since I had no way of knowing I would end up in this world, I don't really have one of my 'nicer' T-shirts with me," Salla pointed out, using her fingers for emphasis. She currently had on her Facebook themed shirt which read "Your Face: 3 Million people dislike this," and she didn't think the guests would appreciate it.

"Uniforms? Half my regular employees are technically naked. I'd go full birthday suit too if it wouldn't make my mate jealous."
Garm looked slightly to the side before Beverly giggled a bit.
"I'm just teasing. Anyway, Salla, I'll at least be fair and let you get a few outfits so look decent and not like you recently broke out of jail. Let's say... five. Wherever you go, just tell them to call me. Thankfully I can also write that off my taxes too.
You can start work tomorrow evening so you have a chance to get used to Whitewater and rest a bit. My other employees will be back soon if you want to wait a bit, though."

The other three girls shared a giggle with Beverly. "Now that that's taken care of, do you want me to show you around the place while we wait?" Kor-er-Nanaaru offered. "I can give you a tour of Whitewater after you take a shower," she added with a teasing smile, making a fanning motion in front of her nose with her paw. "Har har," Salla replied sarcastically, rolling her eyes at the obvious jab. "We wouldn't mind at all," Artemis answered.

"Alright then. Well, you guys have fun. Will you be going along with them Garmy?"
Garm shook his head, walking further into the club. Well, Garm was around Bev now and usually Garm was never the overly talkative type. Besides, she knew Garm well enough to know what he wants to do if he doesn't verbally give her an answer.
"Well, I'll be here. I should get dressed, though.
Oh, and when you do shower... do not put the showerhead on the "Mammothmon" setting. You won't survive.
I'm not kidding, I don't think any human would survive that."

"Thanks for the tip," Salla replied, turning back to look at Beverly as she along with the other two female Digimon went up the stairs. "I remember when I tried that setting. I got blasted into the wall of the shower," Nanaaru informed the Tamer and fellow Rookie. "Ouch," Artemis replied, wincing. "I know, right?" They soon entered a large hall. It looked larger than what Beverly and Garm needed to walk down. "The first room on the left is Beverly's room. I shouldn't have to tell you what not to do. Fishy and Saibot's room is just across the hall," Nanaaru told them as they walked past.
Just passed those two rooms were the guest rooms. Never before had a bed looked good to Salla. Artemis even pointed out that she could revert to one of her smaller forms if need be. Just passed those the guest rooms were the bathrooms. The last room the ninja fox lead them to was a kitchen. It appeared to be well kept as well, much to the preference of a certain martial artist. "So what do you think of the place?" Nanaaru asked. "I think that this wouldn't be a bad place to stay," Salla replied.

A voice suddenly echoed throughout the area. A creepy, ghostly voice meant to send chills down ones spine. "Well, I am glad you two enjoy the abode of my Mistress. As long as you behave yourselves you'll be perfectly fine."
A figure rose through the floor, slightly transparent. A green hooded beige Impmon, Nanaaru would easily have recognized her from her voice.
The digimon spoke in her normal tone (which was still echo-y and creepy, just toned down a bit), smiling widely at the group.
"Of course I needed to make an entrance. Heard you guys come in and wanted to say hello in my own special way."
She then turned around and opened the refrigerator, pulling out some milk. Going around the kitchen and getting other things, she finally made a bowl of cereal. The cereal box and milk were put back in their rightful places before the HyldenImpmon began eating.
"I'm Ghost, by the way. And don't worry, I won't try to possess you, hee hee. "

"Long time no see," Nanaaru greeted. "Just when I thought I wouldn't see any more ghosts today," Salla said half jokingly. "I'm Salla, and the Lunamon here is my Digimon partner, Artemis," she greeted. "Nice to meet you," Artemis greeted. Needless to say, the Tamer-Digimon duo wasn't unnerved after seeing so many ghostly Digimon for so often, so seeing Ghost was, somewhat, within the norm for them. As long as they didn't need to fight Ghost, they were perfectly fine with being around her.

Ghost quickly corrected Salla in her observation of what Ghost was, although by her tone she wasn't insulted or anything of the sort. "Oh no no no no, I'm not *a* ghost. My name is Ghost. Because I specifically exhibit the ghost-like ability to phase through stuff. But I'm not, in any shape or form, to be considered dead or undead or otherwise paranormal. I'm a familiar that my Mistress made! Well... a familiar and then some but that's a long story.
But that's fine, others have made that mistake and I can't blame'em. Oh, and hello Nanaaru!
Ohhh I really did wanted to do a little haunting gag but thank Nanaaru for knowing me, hee hee!
So, what's next on the agenda? Going shopping?"
Ghost ate between bites of what was obviously a colorful, sugary cereal. Ghost still acted very much like a kid most times, and ass such refuses to eat "plain" cereal.

"Well I'm planning on taking a shower once I've met everyone. After that, Nanaaru is going to show us around Whitewater," Salla told Ghost. "If you ask me, she had quite a few lucky breaks already. It wouldn't surprise me if she got another," Nanaaru stated. She was right. Salla did get lucky enough to be rescued by Ventina, and bump into Nanaaru and Garm. "I wouldn't call being abducted from my world and being tossed into a dungeon lucky," Salla pointed out. "Anyway, I'll probably recommend a few places when I show her around since she could use something more appropriate to wear when she starts work tomorrow," Nanaaru told Ghost.

Ghost nodded when spoken to, acknowledging that she did hear what they said, and overall just being chipper.
"Well, sounds like you girls have a busy day ahead of you! Well, don't get caught again outside again, hee hee! I don't know when Sinclair, Fishy, or Saibot are coming back, though. So might as well shower now. "
Once Ghost continued with her cereal, the girls were left alone to their own devices for the time being. The bathrooms were quite large compared to ones most people would be used to, although it's good for larger digimon. They were also kept up with fresh towels and washclothes, and various other personal cleaning effects.
