Sophie yawned as she walked about the neighborhood with her poodle Peach. She was still getting to know the area since she moved here, and didn't really know many of the people here just yet. She hadn't really made much of an attempt to get ot know them...she just wasn't sure if it was worth bothering or not. She had some bags with her, just in case, as she watched Peach sniff literally every tree they passed, but none were good enough. "Is it really that hard to pick a tree Peach?" she questioned but naturally....the dog was a dog. She didn't talk.
Sophie loved Peach dearly, and the dog had been with her for nearly 7 years, but she did wish that she could talk. Peach was her only real friend...was it sad that her only friend was a dog? Sophie's father was out so often, and the maids tried to help but they were just employees. They have to be nice so it's not like they really want to be.
Sophie adjusted her sunglasses and took a look at her arm. Well at least she wasn't burning. She should have brought her parasol to help protect from the sun. She had been hoping Peach would have done her business already. Well she did remember her sunscreen at least so she would probably be fine.
Shi had to admit, this was a fancy place with all the things near and far. Shi had decided on this route to the walk towards the train station, he like to admire some of the structures around here, that and Yasuo and Yuudai both seemed to enjoy these places for some reason. The only thing Shi never liked was when he encountered someone here they seemed to just know he didn't live here, Shi had no idea how they knew they just seemed to and he never got a good vibe from this place.
Yuudai had his head out of the bag slightly staring at the area around him, this place seemed far more fancy then where Shi normally went and that alone made him happy for some reason, he had no idea why. Yasuo on the other hand just wanted to get where tehy were going quickly, he didn't like staying in areas like this with people who could see them. Yauso nudged the bag and hit Shi slightly, a signal which normally meant hurry up.
Shi adjusted his cap and kept walking, there wasn't many people as he could tell save for the person in front of him, he'd just do what he does and ignore them, unless it was another random tamer in which case he'll question why exactly he keeps running into them

Sophie sighed as she watched Peach sniff a bush, but suddenly the dog stopped and started to whimper. "Hm? What's wrong?" she asked as she knelt down to look and saw something blue and white sticking out the bush. She picked it up and gave it a puzzling look. A toy? She looked the item over and stood up as she looked closely at it. Why would a toy be out here? Well considering it was a wealthy area, it didn't seem to crazy to think that kids who don't value much could just throw their toys away. Pity.
She kept walking with Peach, but took some time to observe the toy. What was it? She had never seen anything like it. She started to press buttons when it suddenly beeped on. "Oh so it's not broken." She said as she looked at the screen. It had a little pixel egg bouncing in place. Oh was it one of those virtual pet things? She never had one before interesting. Peach gave her a curious look as Sophie smiled at her. "Don't worry Peach. It's just a toy. Not like you." she said, petting her dog's head.
Shi tried to keep walking but something caught his eye, someone was nearby holding some sort of device. Shi stopped walking and Yuudai popped his head out looking at the item in question. Shi was a bit too far away to see if it was a digivice or not but from the distance it didn't look like a cellphone or anything of that sort. Shi decided to wait and stood still pulling out his phone pressing a few buttons making it seem like he was doing something.
Yasuo popped his head out of the bag once they stopped moving and looked at Shi. "Shi, what are you doing?" Yasuo asked staring at the teen. Shi just kept doing nothing then glanced back over. "Waiting." Shi said giving no more insight to what he was doing other then that. Shi just wanted to see if he was right and he just had a habit of randomly finding other tamers.

Sophie wasn't really sure what to do with it. How did she make the egg hatch? She tried shaking it, maybe it counted steps? Hmm..."I wonder how long I have to..." she muttered but stopped when Peach let out a growl, staring in the direction of Shi. "Maintenant Peach. Tu sais mieux!" she said to her dog, who finally pulled her eyes away from them and licked her hand. "Bonne fille." she said as she pet Peach on the head.
She looked up to see if the boy did anything, but Peach kept looking that way. Sophie frowned and tugged her away. "No more." she said as she sighed, turning back to the device and shaking it some more. How did this thing work anyways? The egg did seem to be shaking a little now. Was it working?
Shi stared at the dog growling at him, he wasn't really doing anything that threatening though some random teen stooping nearby must of triggered that, he had to admit that was kinda weird. Shi was going to leave it at that but Yuudai actually barked back in a weird sorta way, sounded weirdly mixed with a bark and his normal speaking voice. Yasuo hit Yuudai after he made that noise asking Yuudai what the hell was wrong with him in a hushed voice. Shi also wanted to know what the hell that was for and would ask the Digimon later.
Shi just shook his head hoping that person didn't notice the barking Koromon and went back, this time he actually started texting someone figuring just waiting would do nothing and would also make him look like a creep.

Sophie didn't notice the barking, but Peach did. She perked her ears up and was now completely fixated on them. She started to pull on her leash and barked back. "Peach! Arrêtez! Qu'est-ce que vous a obtenu dans?" she shouted as she tried to keep peach, but the standard poodle was big enough to pull the petite girl as she tried to go forward to inspect what made the sound. "Peach! Arrêtez! Asseyez-vous maintenant!" she gave the command in a stern tone as suddenly the dog stopped and sat down, whimpering back at Sophie.
Sophie heaved a sigh of relief and looked up at the boy, she was now a bit closer from the pulling. "So sorry! She is very sweet I promise. I don't know what got into her." she said as she looked at the dog, who was still focused on Shi, but was still sitting. "She normally listens better. You wouldn't happen to have treats on you? Maybe she smelled something..." she was so focused on what her dog was doing, she didn't really notice the sudden beeping coming from the toy.
Shi could of swore that Yuudai was about to do the same thing he did before but a few quick shots from Yasuo and the digimon was shut up, most likely for the best though that must of wounded his pride a lot. Shi saw the dog and the girl come towards him and silently wished he hadn't brought Yuudai, or that he stopped being cheap and just bought one of those holo suits, that would solve the problem.
"It's alright." Shi said knowing exactly what must of gotten into her, after this back to the house Yuudai was so grounded. "Uhh no, I think it was my phone it made a noise and she must of heard it, guess she was just inspecting it or something." Shi said himself not being a dog person just made up the first excuse that came to mind. Shi heard something and pointed towards the device the girl was carrying. "Hey that's beeping quite a lot." Shi said thinking the girl didn't notice or something.

"Oh, I guess that makes sense. Though it's still a little strange, she does not normally act like that over those sorts of things." said Sophie still a bit baffled by her dog's sudden behavior. When Shi pointed out the beeping she quickly looked at the device in her hand. "Oh! The toy! I wonder if the egg is hatching." She said as she looked at it and smiled, but it suddenly started to shake as the screen glowed. "What is going on?" she questioned as she suddenly fell back as the light shined in her face, before vanishing.
When the light was gone she could hear a slight growl from peach again and it felt like something small and warm was on her chest. She opened her eyes and saw a white fluffy ball staring at her. Sophie cocked her head to the side...what the? "Where did this toy come from?" she asked but jumped when it suddenly blinked. "Wh--what!?"
Shi just shrugged having no idea, or at least pretending not to have any idea to the dog's sudden behavior. Shi was prepared to excuse himself but then sudden mention of toy and egg's being hatched made him stay and look at the girl, he was right in the end they were a tamer. Shi watched the light appear without wavering as he would before, he was used to this sort of thing by now and even this didn't phase him the slightest.
Shi just watched with a calm look and adjusted his hat slightly. "I can't tell you where that toy came from but, what you have there is something called a Digimon." Shi said giving her the base information and waited for the questions that would most likely come with something like this.

Sophie just lay there staring at it....a....digimon? "What is a Digimon?" she asked, having never heard of such a thing. She started to rub her eyes...oh her glasses they fell off! She quickly got up, the little Yukimibotamon falling off her lap as she quickly searched her her sun glasses. When she found them she quickly put them on. Oh she hoped he didn't see her eyes. It usually freaked people out. "Sorry about that." She said, blushing a little as she looked back at the creature, who was now very stiff as it was sniffed by Peach....who didn't really know what to make of it.
Suddenly it shot a weak stream of bubbles in the dog's face, causing her to back up and sneeze, rubbing her nose with her paw. "Peach!" Sophie said suddenly as she pet her dog. "Are you okay?" she asked, but Peach was fine. Her nose was just irritated. Sophie turned back to the creature and picked it up, staring at it. Did it's face look....angry? Was it alive?
"Well, the best way I can explain it is. It's like some sort of creature form another world. Hard to believe but very true." Shi was going to explain more but the girl wanted to look for her glasses. Shi had wondered why it was more important then some random new creature but a quick look at her face told him why exactly, he didn't think anything of it and waited patiently for her to find them. "It's alright." Shi said wondering why she had apologized, wasn't really her fault.
Shi was slightly taken aback by the Digimon's sudden violence. Shi was sure that couldn't of hurt that bad but decided to show some concern. "Is she alright?" Shi asked staring at the Digimon, if worse comes Shi could easily take it on with Yasuo now that he was quite sure Yuudai had fainted.

Sophie stood up and looked at the creature, still holding Peach close. "From another world? I must have hit my head or something..." she muttered, giving her head a scratch as she looked at it. It almost seemed frightened of how much bigger Peach was. Sophie stepped closer to the shivering little digimon and picked it up. "There there. You're just scared aren't you?" she said as she smiled at it and looked at Peach. "She's alright. I think it just irritated her nose." The little digimon seemed to calm down a bit when she held it. As she did so, it began to glow and change shape in her arms and suddenly, a little lion cub like creature was there.
Sophie stared at it in amazement, and had to resist the urge to scream and drop it again. "What....but when did..." she said confused as she looked at it. "Thank you. That creature was kind of scary." The talking was a bit too much for her. She screamed and dropped him, as the little digimon landed with an Ofph! "What was that for!?" he said, seeming irritated again. "I-I-I-It-t-t Talked! It talked! Animals don't talk!" Sophie seemed to be having a hard time coming to terms with this change of events. "Well..yah I talk. Why wouldn't I? You talk." he asked her a bit confused. "That's different! I am a person! People talk not cats!....I am talking to a cat....I really am crazy!" she groaned.
Shi just shook his head. "Nope you didn't hit your head, or I did also and this is all in my head." Shi said the last part being a joke, he knew there was no way that was true it wouldn't make much sense, he didn't have that good of an imagination to make something like this up. Shi just waited patiently for her to get all that out, it made sense she'd freak out over that evolving.
"Please calm down." Shi said hoping this didn't draw any attention to them, he hadn't needed to but he would have no idea how to explain this to someone who wouldn't get a digimon or didn't already have one. "You're not crazy, you just happen to be witnessing an event that doesn't make a lot of sense." Shi said having little to no other way to explain it, he would of brought out one of his but considering this girl just screamed that was most likely not the best plan ever.

"I don't know if it's how you worded it or the fact I am still working on my japanese. But that makes no sense. What am I suppose to do about the talking cat that just changed from a squishy...ball...thing...that came out of a toy!?" Well when you thought about it...it was a strange situation. Demi Spadamon frowned and looked up at her. "You don't want me here Princess?" he asked as he gave her a sad look. "No! It's not that it's just...strange...what..did you just call me Princess?" That was different.
"Yup! As your digimon I am sworn to protect my Lady, my Princess!" he said grinning at her. Well...this didn't make this situation any easier to understand. Peach seemed to be just as confused by this as her owner, as she seemed to be keeping a healthy distance from the little cat creature. "So...why Princess? And um...what are you called?" Sophie asked as he shrugged. "Feels right. And I am called Demi Spadamon." he asid wit ha big grin. "That's quite the mouthful..." Sophie muttered.
