Kirito's favourite place in all of Shibuya is the Udagawa Back Streets. It sounds odd considering it is probably one of the most dangerous areas within the city but there was a reason. In the Udagawa Back Streets there were a few abandoned warehouses, on in particular that Kirito liked to call his 'second' home. He loved it there, he did a majority of his hacking there and whenever he got into a fight with his parents or just wanted time to think, this was the place he would often find himself at, sometimes without realizing that he had even been heading there.
Both Kirito and Terriermon had been at this abandoned warehouse for a majority of their day, Terriermon simply running around the large industrial building while Kirito sat on his laptop. It was now night, roughly 8:00 pm. Ever since meeting Terriermon and being introduced to Digimon and the Digital World, Kirito had been working on developing what he likes to call a Digital Monster Database or DMD for short. They had come into contact with quite a few Digimon in just one week, mostly these Digimon have been partners of other Tamers but the information he had managed to gather was still quite useful. "Whatcha doin'?" Terriermon asked, jumping onto the desk in which Kirito was sitting at, peering over the top of the laptop he was typing on. "I'm just updated the database." Terriermon dropped to his rear and allowed his ears to slump down, letting out a loud sigh so that his Tamer would hear. "What?" Kirito asked, not looking away from the computer as he continued to type. "I'm bored." Terriermon exclaimed, reaching up and scratching the side of his face where some dust had accumulated from running around in the warehouse. Hearing this, Kirito finally looked up at his Digimon and sighed himself, turning the laptop around to face the Digimon. On the screen was a similar image that he had once shown Yui and Shi, a map of the entire Shibuya area with hundreds of red lights that indicated supposed Digimon sightings.
"Wow! There's more!" Terriermon said as he looked at the screen, a little surprised. "Is there really that many Digimon in the area?" He asked, looking up at his Tamer. "I can't say for certain." He replied. "Some of those sightings could be from multiple sources seeing the same one in different areas, but more importantly... they could just be feral animals mistaken for something else. Remember that my database searches 'monster' sightings... I am not really sure that many people in our world could identify them as Digimon." Kirito turned the laptop back to face him and typed a few more keys. "There is an area near here where each day there is a supposed new sighting. Want to check it out with me?" He asked his Digimon who was already gliding to the door. "T-that was fast." Kirito said, closing the laptop and placing it in his bag. He threw the bag over his shoulder, allowing the bag sit around his waist and made his way over to the door, using a majority of his strength to push the big steel doors open so that the two of them could step outside, only to close it after them.
Kirito continued to walk through the warehouse area, Terriermon resting on his shoulders as they continued to look out. "So, what do we do if it is a Digimon and we find it?" Terriermon asked with an arched eyebrow. "That really depends." Kirito replied, reaching into his pocket and pulling out his D-Terminal. "It depends on whether the Digimon is harmless or not." Terriermon nodding, knowing that if it was an enemy Digimon, he could now Digivolve to his Champion level to face it.

The little black cat-like digimon was still wandering about the human world. She did go back to the digital world, but was interested in learning more about these 'human' creatures and why any self respecting digimon would want to be partnered with one. She hadn't found anything to really give her much reasoning to have faith in humans, and still disliked them. Stupid meddling humans. She had wandered around a bit, often being mistaken for a strange cat before making her way to an old warehouse.
Deciding it was time for a nice cat nap, she climbed into the ware house from an opening in the roof and laid down for a nap. Some time had gone by, undisturbed before the pair came in and began to chatter. With her nap now being interrupted, her ears twitched at the sound of the noise and she groaned as she opened her eyes. Who was that?
She peeked down to see a human and...a digimon? Hmm...interesting. She grinned as her golden eyes peered down at them, moving into a crouching position as she watched them. Just what were they up to? With her excellent hearing, she didn't have to guess at what they were saying, she could hear it. So they were looking for a digimon hmm? Well this could be fun. She vanished into the shadows, only little splashes of light giving away her location as she skulked closer...and closer....silently working her way up to them.

Now outside and walking amongst the multiple abandoned buildings, Kirito drew out his D-Terminal from his bag and flipped the screen open. One of the first things Kirito had taught himself to do was to immediately upload all data that his Digivice would gather to a database he had created on his laptop computer. Once he knew this was working properly, he linked his laptop to his D-Terminal so that all information could be shared between the two devices... It was good, the laptop was larger and heavier so having just the D-Terminal to carry around was much easier.
The two of them turned a corner while Kirito continued to look at the D-Terminal following the map on screen which was leading to the location that the two were talking about earlier. "It is about ten minutes this way." Kirito said, his Digimon silent for a moment before speaking up. "Funny..." Kirito arched an eyebrow at his Digimon. "Why is that funny?" He asked, curious as to what his Digimon was going on about. "I don't know why its funny, but I think we are being followed." Kirito looked back to the direction that had left, but he couldn't see anything at the time. "Are you sure?" He asked and Terriermon frowned. "I have big ears that can hear everything perfectly up to a mile away... OF COURSE I AM SURE!!!" He shouted into his face.
Rolling his eyes, Kirito turned back to the direction they were heading, pretending to ignore the pursuer while searching for the position they had originally intended to find.

Lilith was still following the pair...wondering where they were going. She stuck to the shadows, jumping from shadow to shadow as she watched them. She kept her movements silent as she crept. Suddenly they stopped and she glared that....terriermon...how did he hear her? She grimmaced, at his comment. So they knew she was here hmm? She lept up onto the roof tops, watching them from above now. Well if they knew she was there...why were they ignoring her? She figured it was time to make her presence known.
She jumped from the roof, aiming to land on Kirito's head. Should she have succeeded, she would have lept off and landed and a trash can near them. She started at them, on all fours with her tail sticking up in the air as she stared at them with her golden eyes. Well...now what? Last time she tried this it didn't work out so well, but she had a good feeling this time. "State your business Terriermon and Human!" she said as she kept her gaze on them.

"Now." Terriermon whispered in Kirito's ear, a signal for him to stop walking. Kirito came to a complete halt to see a creature leap down in front of him. If he had continued to walk forward it would have landed on his head and attack them but thanks to Terriermon, this did not happen. Terriermon was incredibly good at hearing, in fact his hearing was so great that he could the sound of a grasshopper, hopping from one leaf to another roughly a mile away. He had to admit though, the cat-like creature was definitely stealthy, but not enough to avoid his hearing, having heard the foot steps on the roof.
The two of them looked over at a trash can where the creature was now located, having leapt onto the ground and then bounding off again onto the top of a trash can. They stared at it for a moment, which it did in return only to look at each other when it spoke. "Our business?" Kirito raised an eyebrow as he turned back to the cat. "Um, no offence or anything like that, but you are in the human world... You have no right to ask that." Kirito stated with a firm tone, unimpressed by the cat's demands.
Terriermon dropped from his Tamer's shoulders so that he was now standing directly in between, he wasn't absolutely sure what this creature wanted, but he refused to allow it to get in and after Kirito. "Well, I guess we can skip the basics... You are definitely a Digimon." Kirito said, reaching into his pocket with his free hand and drawing out his Digivice, pointing it at the cat in an attempt to scan the data on it.

Convenient appearances, you say? Why, yes, of course.
Scout rounds the corner, with BlackAgumon in tow. Oh, yeah, walking around with a big lizard. That seems smart. Even at night-time, it isn't the greatest of ideas. He spots Terriermon first, oddly, and beams. He recognizes that Digimon! Oh! And Kirito! Yay! Kirito! And...whatever that is.
He pulls out his D-Scanner to analyze it, much as he assumes Kirito has already done with his own...thing. He doesn't speak or burst into song, which is quite out-of-character, but clearly they've stumbled into something. Best to see how this goes before he chooses a course of action...

Lilith grumbled when she missed, glaring at Terriermon. How dare he! No one should be able to hear her excellent stealth! She was now in a rather.....unsure mood as she stared at the pair. At the human's response she butted in. "Quiet human! I wasn't talking to YOU!" she said, sticking her tongue out at him. She still wasn't quite sure how to react to humans, so she often just chose the 'I don't want to talk to you!' route. She found Digimon to be easier to understand.
When he stated the obvious she rolled her eyes and stood up on her hind legs, sarcastically clapping. "Wow! How long did it take you to figure that out? You must be some kind of genius!" she said in a faux excited tone before her fake smile quickly vanished.
As the human suddenly pulled out his digivice and pointed it at her, she quickly jumped to avoid it, hissing at him. "Don't point that thing at me human! You hear me!?" she said in a defensive tone. She understood these digivices even less then humans!
Her ears twitched as she heard someone else near by, turning her head to see yet ANOTHER human daring to point that thing at her! She growled and jumped again, running towards the new human and jumping to attempt to swat the digivice out of his hand, if she was quick enough.

Dante is walking down the street when something catches his eye. "Could it be, another tamer?" Dante pursues this boy, and hides behind the corner. Dante notices a strange black cat. (Thinking) "That's not your ordinary house pet. I bet it's a wild Digimon!" Wormmon crawls up Dante's leg and onto his head. "Why do we have to find other tamers, Dante? Can't we just go home and play video games?"
"Not now, Wormmon. I don't want them to hear us." Wormmon crawls onto the wall and crawls up the roof to get a better view. A crow lands next to Wormmon and starts pecking at them. "Shoo, bird! OWWW!" Wormmon lets out a cry in pain. (Thinking) "Great job, Wormmon. They are sure to hear that."

Kirito hadn't noticed the other arrivals but Terriermon had, he was pulling at his Tamer's pants leg in order to gain his attention but it was a little too late, Kirito had finally snapped. "Listen here you little purple fur ball. I had every intention of being nice to you but frankly someone like you doesn't deserve it." Terriermon looked up at his Tamer a little shocked with his words, he agreed with them but in saying that, he had never seen his Tamer lose his temper like that. "Your attitude is beyond unacceptable and I refuse to stand here and allow you to speak to me that way." Kirito placed his Digivice back into his pocket, along with his D-Terminal, not actually caring whether he gained data on this Digimon or not. "You are right, I am human, but I have a name. The way you act and the way you speak the word alone tells me that you have great disgust in humans, why? Well I don't know and I just don't care. I am so sick and tired of Digimon coming into our world, wanting to do harm to others." He paused, Terriermon turning back to the cat-like Digimon with a stern expression of his own.
Kirito took a breath and clenched his fists. "Let me guess, you are one of those pathetic Digimon who believe that our two species can't get along." It was after she had knocked the other Tamer's Digivice out of his hand that he had actually realized there were other people around. "Look around you, we get along. But the fact that you have the nerve to come into OUR world and then speak to us that way, how dare you!" Kirito started to step forward, not caring if he was putting himself in danger or not and only stopped when he was standing over the cat. "I don't go into your world and mindlessly speak to its inhabitance however I please, I have respect for those in your world and it is about time that your kind start having respect when you come into our world!" Terriermon ran over to his Tamer so that he was now standing directly in between the two of them. "YEAH!" Terriermon called, smiling but on guard.

As Scout's D-Scanner hits the ground and goes spinning away, BlackAgumon steps between the boy and this new Digimon. He gives a low warning growl, purple flames flickering at the edges of his mouth, "Back off, Kitty-Cat,"
Scout's usually-friendly expression drops as he sees his D-Scanner spin away. He gives the cat a look that could melt steel, and chases after it, checking it over to make sure it isn't damaged. Good job these things are more-or-less unbreakable, right? Right.
He looks over at Kirito with a concerned expression. He sounds angry. That isn't a good thing, surely. Still, he'll back the other boy up, if it does come down to a fight. However, "Everyone calm down. There's no reason we can't discuss this like civilized people, surely!"

Lilith glared at Kirito. How dare a human tell her what to do!? She didn't have to listen to this human one bit! "Don't talk to me like that human. You are just a weakling! Using the power of your digimon! Alone you can't do anything!" she said, her irritation growing. As more humans appeared, she could feel herself growing more, and more uncomfortable. She didn't like this.
Feeling cornered, she quickly lept into the air, and climbed up onto a ceiling. She stared down at them, not so willing to let these humans corner her. She started at the third human who appeared as she huffed. What is with all the stupid humans anyways. Do they normally bunch up like this? Turning back to the first human she crossed her arms as she stared down at him.
"It's not that I don't 'believe' two species can't...'get along' as you put it. But a digimon who betrays his own to partner with a human is a disgrace. Rather then using their own strength they rely on a human. A human who alone is weaker then even a baby digimon. It's disgusting and puts that digimon to shame." she said, feeling better now that she was on the roof. "Clearly 'getting along' is possible. But it doesn't mean it's any less pathetic." she said as her tail flicked in agitation.

Dante watches the exchange from afar. He doesn't agree with this Digimon's attitude towards humans, but can understand why they feel that way. Dante questions his own relationship with Wormmon, and thinks hard what it really means to be a tamer. Wormmon releases a silk thread, and lowers down from the roof. "Just because a Digimon has a tamer doesn't make them any less of a Digimon. A good tamer knows their Digimon is a partner, and they should treat them as an equal." Dante steps out of the shadows and comes walking up to the others. Wormmon crawls up Dante's leg and onto his shoulder. "Isn't that right, Dante?"
Dante nods in agreement. "I didn't mean to intrude, I was searching for a certain tamer and thought they might be here." Dante looks up at the black cat. "I don't know what humans did to make you feel that way, but I hope one day you might see that some humans are good, and some are bad. Just like Digimon." Dante hopes his words got through to the Digimon, but he also doesn't want to crowd it. "We mean no harm, maybe some time you can hang out with us and see what the tamer/digimon relationship is really all about?"

Kirito clenched his fists tighter when the cat spoke again and the veins in his neck tensed up as he became more and more frustrated. It was Terriermon who spoke next, lowing his guarding stance so that he didn't seem so hostile. "The others are right. Just because we choose to partner ourselves with humans doesn't actually make us any less of a Digimon." Terriermon stated, looking up at his Tamer for a moment who was still quite tense. "And I am sorry, but your statement is completely incorrect, in fact... Kirito makes me stronger." This surprised Kirito and issued for him to look down at his Digmon partner. He was totally shocked by his Digimon's words, never actually expecting him to come out and say something like that, which kind of made him feel warm inside.
Terriermon stepped forward, a sad expression was on his face as he spoke. "Look, I am not going to go through my life story, but I have had nine previous lives in the Digital World. I was the weakling, the loser, the one incapable of Digivolving. Nine times I was deleted by a Digimon stronger than me and every time my data was reconfigured..." He turned back to his Tamer and the others nearby. "I guess you would call this 'reborn'." He turned back to the cat. "I would be picked on, enslaved and treated as nothing but a pest." Terriermon leaped up into the air caught the wind with his ears, gliding backwards a little, only to land on his Tamer's shoulder and hugging his head with one of his ears, not actually realising that the end of his ear was covering both Kirito's nose and mouth, suffocating him. "I hate the Digital World and I could never Digivolve beyond the Rookie level, but since meeting Kirito, I feel stronger and I was capable of Digivolving to the Champion level." Terriermon smiled for a moment, only to jump in surprise when Kirito's hands went up and started grabbing at the end of his ear that was stopping him from breathing. Realising what he was doing, Terriermon quickly let go and dropped back onto the ground, giving his Tamer a light smile as an apology. Kirito saw this but just shook his head, knowing that it wasn't intentional and that his Digimon's words alone were enough of an apology. "Don't call us pathetic, because maybe you have noticed, but we all have someone here for us while you stand there... alone. Now that, that is pathetic." Terriermon said with astern and serious expression. "No matter what, I will protect my Tamer, my partner... my friend, against anything that comes our way. It is Digimon like you who shouldn't exist and should be permanently deleted."
Kirito had met Scout before, but this other Tamer was new to him. All he got was a name mentioned by Wormmon, it was Dante and Kirito had to admit that his words were good ones, Kirito wasn't exactly good with calming situations or anything like that, so if there weren't anyone else here, this probably would have already broken into a battle.

"And if you believe humans are nothing alone?" His D-Scanner lights up, as he offers another smile, "Digivolve to," He becomes briefly enshrouded by a blazing red aura. Scout's body stretches and enlarges, growing to a six and a half foot tall, heavily muscled masculine figure. Black, red and gold armor covers his body, and long golden hair cascades down from the back of his horned mask, "Agunimon," The friendly smile looks like more of a grin on this face, "Humans and Digimon are just as strong as each other when alone. But it's when they're together that they reach their full potential. I'm lucky enough to be able to set foot in both worlds,"
BlackAgumon drops out of his defensive stance, recognizing that even if this was a combat situation, Scout has the advantage here. He nods in agreement with Dante and Terriermon's words, "I'm with them. I've always been powerful, but it's when I have someone to work alongside that my true strength is brought out. Why should I care if the Kid is human or Digimon? We work well together, as do most Digimon with Tamers. You should give them a chance, they might surprise you,"

Lilith felt significantly more comfortable being up and out of their reach. She stared at the humans...hearing what they said. She looked at the human with the red hair, but huffed and turned her head away. "Whatever.." she grumbled. Not liking the odds...she wondered if she should leave before one of them decided to attack her or something. She wasn't so sure how much she trusted them. Well actually, she did know. She didn't trust them at all.
She turned to Terriermon when he spoke, and did seem to somewhat listen. "Well that is unfortunate. It is difficult being a digimon. But that does sort of support my point..." she muttered, scratching her chin. After all, it sort of just proved that he didn't have the strength on his own..he needed the handicap of a human. Hmm...she hoped she would reach her champion form again sooner rather then later. She felt so weak as a rookie.
She then watched as the third human...digivolved? Well that was just weird. "Well that's awfully freakish.." she muttered with a sigh. "Well as....interesting...as you all have been I must go. I prefer not to be around humans longer than necessary and it's already been too long. Have fun with one another. I am out." she said as she turned to leave.
