Well. It seemed only right to give Shiro a challenge. Lopmon flared his ears and caught the next low-hanging branch, whipping around it and sailing off in the same direction, limbs tucked in as he somersaulted towards the ground, ears trailing behind like big fuzzy ribbons. He pulled his ears in and around him with a quiet statement of "Bunny Ball," pulling his body into tight ball that bounced off the ground at an angle, picking up speed as it skipped along the path towards Shiro.
His third bounce brought him even with Shiro's strong rear legs. Feeling his momentum just beginning to wane at the apex of his bounce, Lopmon snapped his ears open wide, caught the air, and soared along just a little behind the digimon. If Shiro had glanced over, he would have seen a hint of real, actual glee on the normally reserved Lopmon's face.

Shiro may be full of energy, almost certainly more than Lopmon. Still, that didn't help since, when it came down to it, Lopmon was just plain faster. As the two burst out into the open, he let out a moan of disappointment. "Aww, man! You beat me! But you won't get so lucky, next time! I mean it!" It was rare for Shiro to simply admit his defeat like that. Usually, he'd say something like 'I wasn't trying, anyways.' Maybe he was maturing? But somehow, Kai didn't think that was the case.
Kai himself walked out of the forest at a more casual pace. Amazingly, Shiro waited, instead of running off ahead. "Alright, well, here we are. Now, there's no other humans around right now, but we should still probably be careful." The second bit was directed more towards Shiro than towards Lopmon. Somehow, Lopmon gave off an air of being much more mature than he looked, very different from the excitable Shiro. Lopmon was far more like the quiet Kuro, who was considering dropping out of sight into Kai's bag.

"Definitely lucky," Lopmon agreed solemnly. "I could never hope to outrun you with these legs." They milled about in each other's company while Kai and Kuro caught up, emerging from the trees a minute or two after. Kai rightly reminded them to be careful, out in the open as they were. Lopmon looked around somewhat warily, nodding in agreement. "Yes," he said quietly. "I have seen some of your predators. The large wheeled creatures that eat and disgorge humans are rather disturbing." He made this comment matter-of-factly, with utmost seriousness. He couldn't be serious. Could he?
He wrapped his ears around himself in the all-too-familiar fuzzy monk's habit, his gaze directed out towards the wild, dangerous streets of Shibuya. Yeah, real jungle out there. "Autosaurs, I heard them called."

Predators? There shouldn't be any in Shibu... Oh! Lopmon's explanation made it clear to Kai that he was talking to something from an alien world. Kai couldn't imagine not knowing about cars. "Autosaurs!? Hah! Let me at 'em, I could take them on with one paw behind my back!" Shiro... Did not have a clue what an Autosaur was. But if it ate humans, it must be a worthy opponent!
"You're getting your words mixed up, Lopmon! They're called Automobiles, or cars. They're a form of transportation... Like the Trailmon!" He explained. Hopefully his explanation would make sense. Lopmon was... A bit strange, even compared to the other Digimon he had met. "Anyways, the real concern is being seen. Normal humans don't do so well when they come into contact with Digimon."

Lopmon cocked his head to one side, considering Kai and his words. After a few moments considering, he shrugged and nodded. "Like the Trailmon, I see." He frowned slightly at Kai's continued words, though his gaze shifted to look at the space around them, watching for passers-by. "I am careful. Though you humans so far have been friendly, if... different. You are very strange," he said, frowning again.
"Perhaps you can tell me more of your world, somewhere else. I will make tea," he offered helpfully. Again.

"Yes, that sounds good. Err, how about my home? I don't see anywhere appropriate for making tea out here..." Now, how he was going to hide a digital monster making tea in his house from his parents was beyond him. Still, he wasn't clear on how to make tea outside! Starting a fire outside was not on his list of things to do tonight. Besides, he'd grown curious. What business did a Digimon have, knowing how to make tea? It seemed like such a completely unnecessary skill for a Digimon. Besides, this Digimon seemed to be almost as confused by his world as he was by its. It would be nice to explain something he understood, for once.

Lopmon nodded. "Yes, that would be lovely. I have several teas with me, you will be quite pleased." He patted the little satchel hanging against his hip, almost fondly. "Do lead the the way." He shuffled over to stand next to Kai, ready to follow him to his destination. So much for that talk of staying hidden, not letting people see you. Right?
