I CAN'T HEAAAAAR YOOOOU! [Spirit Hunt.] [Scout/Kai/Rei/Tomi]

"One spot, one kill! Heavy Blast!" Shiro roared, blasting a large white energy ball towards the singed mark on the saurian Digimon. Kai, for one, groaned at the pun. "Your puns hurt more than your attacks, brother. Heavy Blast," the black Digimon teased, as she fired a smaller, black orb. What she would never admit to the rest of the ones gathered here... She was the one who had taught Shiro the art of 'puns...'To her eternal regret.
But even after all that... It felt like the three horned Digimon was just shrugging off everything they did. Just how strong was this thing!

No.
She didn't want to see them get hurt.
Scout was struck by the lightning that had discharged from the attackers horns. He was clipped. But it still would be painful. Tomomi was right. She couldn't just...sit here and watch them. Watch them fight for their lives...
It took a lot of willpower to move.
Here went nothing...."Slide evolution..." The change was instantaneous.
"Flawizarmon..." Rei would never get use to digivoloving. It was overwhelmingly tingly...Now what to do? Lets show em how its done. The wizard dashed around Kuro, sticking to the edge of the cave as he circled to get a better angle. In fact, he would provide the distraction as the others went for another crack on the dinosaur. It was his specialty after all.
He heard Shiro's pun as he did so and rolled his eyes. The raspy voice called over to him. "Taunting is better, kid. Observe."
"Oi, fatty." No hesitation. No fear. Rei's- or Flawizarmon's demeanor was different then the cowering Flamon. Meanwhile the actual Rei was kicking to keep a grasp on herself. Nothing has changed. The Spirit still had a suffocating dominance over her will.
You're doing this to yourself.
And you black out 'cause of it.
The Tricermon had shrugged off the attacks, its head swiveling for a moment to eye the taunting Wizard. "You're even uglier from afar!" He leaned forward, pretending to take a closer look at the creature with an unnecessarily loud hum. "Huh, my bad, the view's actually better from back here. Ya' know, cause it obscuringly minimizes...you're ugly fat butt." That was....pretty childish... He spun his red match in hand, sticking his tongue out at the Dinosaur with a smirk. Will it charge him?...it roared, infuriated now, and stormed towards him, aiming to pierce the wizard with its horns.
Oops.
At the last minute Flawizarmon vaulted off its snout, landing on the wall and pushing off to flip over the digimon. Just as he expected it rammed into the hard rock wall with an ouch-wrenching crash, unable to stop its momentum. There was enough power there to form cracks and dust!... That had to hurt, thick head or not. The wizard landed behind the Digimon, stepping back to fire off a few Magic Ignitions- balls of flames scorching against the back of its head. The goal? Was to keep it angry. "Now that's how its done. Pretty good example to follow now, neh?" Would they catch his drift? Enrage it, cloud its mind with fury, and cause the Tricermon to hurt himself.
But why did he have to be so cryptic about it? Damn Wizard.
Relax, listen, and soothe yourself. If I can control you, you can control me.
Its a give and take.

"Hard Rock Damashii!"
Another pair of fireballs strike the spot that everyone seems to be aiming at now. Maybe the Triceramon's power level is too great for those attacks to do much more than sting, but what's the alternative here? They could run, sure, but... Gah. Where the hell is Greymon when Scout really needs him?
"If anyone's got any bright ideas, I'm open!"
Stop yelling, maybe?
He's surprised. Ultimate is a whole level of extra power, but it's able to hold its own against so many foes? Maybe he needs to figure out how to transform into an Ultimate level Digimon. ...Y'know. One that isn't insane, and feral. Kai's been at this as long as he has, almost, though. So...why can't Shiro and Kuro Digivolve? Maybe they're defective? Or...hm.
"No, seriously, like...anything!"

Tomomi started to look around the cavern quickly. A few ideas popped up in his head. First, they could trick Triceramon to run into a wall. His horns would probably have him stuck long enough to finish the job. Then again, if he hits too hard, the cavern could collapse and they would all be a lot thinner.
Maybe there's a cliff they could run him off? But it didn't seem like the group was familiar enough with the place well enough to know of one. Ugh, what to do? Maybe they could break the ceiling and get out that way? Tomomi looks up to see how stable the ceiling is, when he realized, "Stalactites! Everyone, focus the ceiling above Triceramon and fall back!!"
Flarerzamon instantly attacked the ceiling after hearing Tomomi's plan. He swung his claws at the direction of the ceiling, as fireballs hurl towards the ceiling, "Blaze Buster!"

"Good idea, Tomomi!" Kai called, his back to the wall. Unfortunately, he knew Kuro and Shiro's attacking abilities in this form. Heavy Blast took time to recharge. The two had no way of attacking the ceiling. "Shiro, can you keep it in place!? Kuro, cover for him!" Kai called. Shiro was no match for the beast... But maybe he could distract it while they caused a cave in. Which may be a problem in and of itself. "Everyone else, stand aside! We can't risk anyone getting hurt by the ceiling when it comes down!"
He hoped the dinosaur couldn't understand their plans. If it figured it out and dodged, they'd be in trouble.
"No problem! Leave it to me!" Shiro called back, leaping in front of the enemy Digimon. "I have you now! Charged Claw!" The large white Digimon leaped forward, his claws glowing with a bright light like the energy blast he had just fired. To Kai's knowledge, this was Shiromon's most powerful attack- And his paw raked down the Triceratops' faceplate with a sound akin to fingernails on a blackboard.
Meanwhile, Kuro, beside Shiro, announced her own technique. "Shed Veil!" A poof, and a cloud not unlike thick smoke coated the two Digimon, and the head of their foe. It wasn't much, but maybe enough to disorient it while the rest brought the roof down on it. He hoped.

Well that was certainly a better idea.
Flawizarmon dashed away at Shiromon's and Kuro's attack, edging out from underneath the bulk of the ceiling. Kami already shot off a fireball into the roof of the cave, and while the Wizard made to clear, he added his own few Magic Ignitions to accompany the Blaze Blaster. He skidded to a halt just before reaching the rock wall next to Kai, hoping that it would be enough to bring it down.
...The cave rumbled from impact.
“Watch your toes.” Don't want them to get crushed by any stray rubble.

Scout either wasn't leaving anything to chance, or simply wanted to show off a little. Maybe both. The same aura of fire builds up around his body, as the attack finally...recharges? Cools down? Whatever it was doing.
"Victory Damashii!"
The effigy of the dragon is a lot clearer this time, almost like it was only half-loaded on the previous attempt. An enormous quadrupedal dragon with huge wings, and some kind of horned skull-covering. The fiery effigy races up to join the other attacks, exploding in a ball of...fire. Right.
The combined attacks are more than enough to bring down a huge amount of stalactites and general rubble, most of which collapses atop the Triceramon. If it survived, it certainly doesn't seem to be able to dig itself out.
"Alright, let's get going before more trouble shows up!"
Dammit, Scout.

Tomomi just looks at the ceiling and then back to the pile of rubble that was Triceramon, "Wow...we did good! Nice work guys!!" Tomomi reassured the team. Better yet, his plan worked! He was the weakest out of the three, so it was nice that Tomomi was able to actually lend a hand.
Tomomi looks over at Scout and blushes a little, "Scout...can you try not to get hit? That...kind of freaks me out a little." Tomomi definitely didn't like to see his boyfriend get tossed into a wall.
Flarerizamon walks over to Flawizarmon, "Are you doing okay, Rei?" He asks. Flareizamon was a lizard, but an observant one.

And the roof was down! Right on top of the dinosaur that had attacked them! ... And on top of Kuro and Shiro! "Kuro! Shiro!" Kai called. There was a pause. "Got'im!" yowled the white Digimon Shiro, as he and his sister emerged from the rubble in their Rookie forms. Small enough to slip through the rubble. Kai breathed a sigh of relief. He'd seriously been scared for a moment!
"Yeah. Scout's right. Let's go... Does anybody remember which way is out?" That was the thing they'd been discussing when the Digimon attacked... Which way was out! These caves were like a maze! For that matter... How'd he and Rei get out last time? He'd fallen unconscious... And when he awoke, he was in a desert! These tunnels were a maze, and he for one didn't remember every turn they'd taken while chasing Scout!

Scout strikes a pose, "I'm fine! Better than fine! This is all just amazing!" There's another deafening guitar squeal from, uh. Somewhere? Whatever. There is...entirely too much to question about this situation, and the guitar squeals are really at the bottom of that list of things.
He looks around, and then points in a direction, "Come on! This way!" He sets off, occasionally emitting a guitar solo. It was another hour and a half before they managed to find their way out...
End.
