Neither of them wanted to walk inside Sanoske, just as he suspected. He closed his mouth, but remained lying down, resting his head on folded arms. ^Just as I suspected of you, Pure.
And it is not eating. It is allowing you to walk inside my body. There is a difference.^
After some failed, apparently unachievable audio files, the squirrel had finally managed to play... something. As before, Sanoske assumed Ratat was some sort of manufactured digimon. And what he said just seemed like it helped prove it, although the large Gazimon couldn't be completely sure.
^Ratatoskr... interesting name.
Anyway, now that all that is over and done with... Pure, would you like to continue fishing? I can only hope we do not procure anything more than fish.

((Huh... Sorry about that. I completely missed that.))
It looks like the giant demon gazimon broke your new friend there. Mel joked as Ratatoskr kept repeating the same phrase. 'No audio file found' 'No audio file found'
Pure ignored the Hylden though. Honestly beginning to worry that something may be wrong with the squirrel. Then Ratatoskr said something that caught him off guard.
The Terriermon just stared at the squirrel with a blank expression on his face. What exactly did any of that mean? And who's voice was that? Could that possibly be Ratatoskr's true voice?
Fortunately Sanoske's voice snapped him out of his trace. "Ratatoskr?" He questioned softly before fully turning his attention to Sanoske, "Oh... Uhh... Yeah. That'd be nice."

The illusion and the smaller digimon... Were returning to fishing. Was... that it? Somehow... Ratatoskr felt disappointed. The sense of kinship that had started to grow... Was shattered by the realization that he was the only one who felt it. He should have known better. He was alone. Alone... And hungry. He had, after all, spectacularly failed at finding lunch. He slunk off dejected. Maybe he'd have better luck somewhere without sharp tempting hooks in the water to bite.

Sanoske looked over to his fishing rod, and then saw Ratat walk off. He scratched his head, not quite realizing that his sudden declaration of going back to fishing had hurt the squirrel digimon.
^Ratatoskr... if you wish, you can stay with us while we fish. You do not have to leave if you do not want to.^
And then Sanoske turned to Pure. ^Before you even say anything... I did kind of hurt him. And he is a bit like me. So I at least owe him something, do you not think? Besides, he reminds me of myself when we first met.
Which makes me wonder if you have some sort of aversion of ones who have non-standard methods of speaking. You will never get far with certain 'relationships' if you keep that up.^

Pure felt like he should be taking offense to that. "What do you mean? I don't have an aversion to those who have non-standard methods of speaking. I have an aversion to those who seemed like they could kill me, which recently happens to include those who have non-standard methods of speaking." Pure explained pointedly with his arms crossed. What exactly did Sanoske mean by 'certain relationships' anyways?
"Speaking of which." Pure turned towards Rataoskr, "As Sanoske said you can stay around with us if you want. I'm afraid we didn't bring a third fishing pole. So if you want to actually fish with us then your probably going to have to get creative. Just try not to bite on any of the hooks again." The Terriermon requested nervously.

Ratatoskr paused and turned, slowly. Did they... really want him to stay? Really, truly? It was... An odd feeling. The complete opposite of what he had been feeling moments before, when he had thought they did not care whether he stayed or left. "I" He paused distinctly, showing his hesitation. "can stay" He stepped hesitantly back towards the other two. Then less hesitantly. And even less. Soon, he was near them, staring out over the clear water. The fish were there, certainly- And perhaps had even recovered from the shock Ratatoskr had given them.
"not" "bite" "hooks" Ratatoskr said, where agreement would be implied had he not been using someone elses voice. Given the bursts of static between each word... Perhaps he should have just used the whole sentence, rather than just snippets of it.

^An aversion to those who seemed like they would kill you?^ Sanoske glanced over towards Ratatoskr, and then back at Pure. ^Right.^
The Gazimon went over to his previous fishing spot before casting a line in. ^Anyway, Ratatoskr, I guess you can just relax around us. Just lay down and be in company of friends and whatnot.^ And then he seemed to have realized something. ^Wait a second... do you honestly find me more threatening than Lilly, Pure?
Because... frankly she kinda scares me... her almost killing me on accident did not help matters. Or was it because I 'got what I deserved'? I mean... she looks like she could eat a few of you easily.
And I am the one you were suspicious of.^ His tone seemed serious... but not that serious. As if he was making a point but was really just poking fun at him. Sanoske did, however, say all that with a smirk on his maw, though.
(((Unless you want to do something else I think this thread is pretty much over)))

"Kind of. Yeah." Pure admitted to Sanoske, "She actually reminded me of someone I once knew. While you... You were still an unknown to me at the time. An unknown that did just try to steal from her."
Pure then paused for a split second as he noticed what exactly he was insinuating, "Not... Not that you didn't do it for a good reason that is. I... I... I just didn't knew about it at the time." Pure blundered as he tried to quickly recover from what he just said.
This Lily you two are talking about. She's the weird Guilmon we saw when we were at that restaurant thing right? Mel questioned.
Yeah that's her.
So you weren't afraid of her then. Color me impressed. I guess you have some backbone after all.
"I don't know if I should take that as a compliment or an insult." Pure stated out loud.
