Traveling the back streets towards home, Sora found himself lost in thought. His partner resting in his bag, fast asleep, Sora finds himself not really paying attention to his surroundings...
Unfortunately, that's where Sora makes a fatal error and accidentally bumps into someone.
Taking a few steps back and rattling himself and his partner, Blue, all at once, Sora quickly offers a bow of apology.
"My apologies! I was spacing out---"

Hoshi was doing his regular street dancing routine. By routine, it is meant that he was walking down the street dancing to the music in his head. "Dancing in the shadows!" he sang out loud in English as he did a spin on his heel. Mid-spin, however, he felt a bump. Suddenly, he was heading toward the ground at lightning speed, but nothing that a quick flip wouldn't handle! Landing on his hands, he pushed himself off the ground and into the air, doing a spinning flip before landing on his feet. As the older man who bumped into him started rambling, Hoshi simply raised his hand.
"A star doesn't make excuses for mistakes, he simply learns and dances on," he recited in Japanese before continuing in Engrish "I am wild star, crazy dance party haver."

Sora remains quiet for a few moments, wondering just what the heck this guy was on and if he should maybe turn him into the police. Sora wasn't equipped to handle this kind of stuff anyway. That being said and thought, Sora decided against it... for now.
"I... see. So dancing is a lifestyle for you, and not a hobby?"

Hoshi did another flip and walked toward Sora. "Penny for your thoughts?" he asked in English, noticing the young man struggling to spark up conversation. Not one to shy away from socializing, Hoshi danced in place as he waited for Sora's answer.
Meanwhile, staring out of the open window of an empty apartment was a cream colored guitar pick-like creature, looking down at the two conversing. He made sure to limit his movements and the sounds he was making. He had decided that today would be the day. Today, the duo of Chibickmon and Hoshi would be formed.

He pauses, but English begins to spill forth from Sora's lips in response. "So I take it you won't answer my question?" While he would've liked to continue his questioning, the bag he was carrying shifted and Blue managed to glance in the direction of the digimon at hand.
"Digimon alert!"
Sora hoped the guy hadn't heard to much of what Blue had said, but now Sora's curiosity was peaked as well.

Hoshi danced in place again, nimbly moving his feet as he spoke. "Dancing is more than life. Dancing is air and passion. Dancing is the water we drink and the love we feel. The moment we stop dancing is the moment we die." Although it appeared uncharacteristically poetic, Hoshi continued to dance as usual.
Meanwhile, from the ledge of the window, Chibickmon tried to adjust his position, only to trip on his own feet and promptly fall out of the window. "SHIIIIIIIIIT!" the tiny Digimon cried out in a squeaky voice as he descended, appearing to shield something with his body even as he crashed into the pavement. He coughed as the debris from his fall cleared, and he slowly stood up, woozy from the impact.

The whole situation was enough to make Sora lose composure and bring forth a very confused expression, but it wasn't long before a ChibiVeemon slowly crawled out of Sora's bag and scuttled over to meet the Chibickmon.
"Blue---!" Unable to stop his partner, Sora could only trail after him as Blue offered a curious expression once the digimon was up and about.
"You fell from a high place! You okay?"

Chibickmon tried to regain his composure, tripping over his own feet again. He wasn't used to being in such a small body, which had its own set of complications without him feeling alienated from his own form. Hoshi was dancing in place as if nothing had happened, but even with his eyes covered, Chibickmon knew the young man was staring. He turned to the ChibiVeemon, groaning as he got up again. "You clearly have no idea who you're talking to... I AM-" he quickly stopped himself from talking, instead opting to say something much tamer than what he had originally planned. He would have to make a fool of himself in order to get this situation to play in his favor. "I AM THE ALMIGHTY STALKERMON! KING OF THE DIGITAL WORLD!"

Blue topples over at the booming voice from the smaller digimon. Slowly scuttling to his feet, Sora wastes no time in picking up Blue and holding the DemiVeemon close.
"Stalkermon? That's not the name of a digimon that I know." Blue insists.
"So it is a digimon...?" Sora asks.
"From what I can tell." Blue replies.

Hoshi continued to dance for a moment before spinning in place and, in one fluid motion, ducking down and grabbing Chibickmon. "Are you the one who has been stalking me for the past few years?" Hoshi was very direct with his question, as he knew the answer but wanted confirmation. It had been something that had bugged him for a long while now, and at last he had found comfort.
Chibickmon began to sweat a little, looking around nervously before sighing in surrender. "I am Chibickmon... And I've been following you for a while, Hoshi. I hail from the Digital World, and I come bearing a message for you. We are destined to be partners and achieve gre-" Suddenly, he realized he was missing something. The Digivice was gone! Chibickmon began to huff nervously, trying to feel around for the trinket. He was holding it when he crash landed. Did it break? Did it disappear? That machine that he spent all that time customizing, gone?
Hoshi, holding Chibickmon in one hand, raised his other hand, revealing the half-gold Digivice he had nicked when he picked up the small creature. "Looking for this?" he asked in English. The nervous Digimon nodded slowly, mouth agape, as Hoshi smirked and looked over at Sora. "Can I assume that you know what this is?"

Sora remained quiet for the most part while the exchange between digimon and human went down. While Blue's hatching wasn't as climatic as this, it was still entertaining in its own right to see a tamer and digimon bonding.
"Yes... and no." Sora admits. "I only know that Blue here is my partner, but otherwise I don't know anything about the digital world."
"And I don't have any memories, if I did have any, from the digital world." Blue pipes in.

Chibickmon jumped out of Hoshi's hands and huffed. "A Digimon that doesn't know about the Digital World?! How disgraceful!" he remarked, pointing an arm at Blue. "The Digital World is a wondrous place where anything is possible! Dragons roam the skies and sea creatures roam the lands! Giant apes rule the savanna and jungle cats dominate the mountains! The Gods of the Digital World themselves even live among the commonfolk! For one not to know about the Digital World is shameful!"
"Whoa, that sounds awesome!" Hoshi said, clapping as Chibickmon spoke. "I wanna go!" he demanded as he looked up at Sora. "Sounds like it'd be a hell of an adventure, and a lot more interesting than this place."

Blue backed up, unsure how to react to being yelled at, but soon enough, he regains his composure. "I wanna go! I wanna see my home!" He looks up at Sora expectantly. "Can we go? Please? Pleeeeease?" Sora takes a moment but nods. "I have no work as of right now, so I don't see a problem with it."
He looks towards Hoshi and Chibickmon. "So I take it you'll be our guide, um...?" What was this digimon's name again?

Hoshi tapped his feet together and bowed. "I'm a Star. My name is Hoshi." Hoshi spoke with confidence, slowly placing himself just in front of Sora and grabbing the older boy's hand. "But it appears as though the heavens let one more star drop down to Earth."
Chibickmon grunted and jumped, headbutting Hoshi in the stomach. One of the few things he didn't like about the boy, he flirted with literally everyone. "Now, then. I feel I should properly introduce myself!" Chibickmon pridefully declared, landing softly and bowing. "I am the mighty Gan-" Not anymore, right? Chibickmon choked on his words, coughing a little before trying again. "I am the mighty Chibickmon! One of the high rulers and most feared and revered of the Digital World! Yes, my word is law!"

At Hoshi's flirting nature, Sora couldn't help but raise a brow in confusion, but he simply nods. "Hoshi-san, then. My name is Sora, and this is my partner, Blue." The DemiVeemon offers a grin of sorts at his name being introduced.
As the Chibickmon introduced himself, Blue tilted his head. "Chibi! I'm calling you Chibi from now on." Blue announces.
Sora slowly removes his hand from Hoshi's grasp and offers a polite bow of his head to Chibickmon.
