"Alright Pikeymon, time to get stronger! Any ideas you may want to share? Oh! I know! How about some push-ups! Wait! Even better! Sit-ups! Wait, do you even have abdominal muscles? Looks to me like you only have arms, legs, and a head. Whatever, does not matter! Sit-ups all the way!"
"Could you please call me Pikemon from now on? Pikeymon is a weakling's name."
The two brothers started the day bickering as usual. The bickering may be one-sided, but their chatter could be considered bickering all the same. The inn that Pikemon and RoyalPikeymon stayed was quiet today, only the two brothers could be heard. The owner of the dusty establishment thought the two twins were the cause of this eerie quiet and decided to pay them a friendly visit. The Puppetmon slammed the door to the brother's room open and started to give some advice;
"Quiet down! You're annoying away potential customers...and my nerves!"
With how strong a Puppetmon is, Pikemon didn't intend to bother the in owner any longer and just nodded in agreement. On the other hand, RoyalPikeymon had something else to add to the conversation, "Quiet down? I was being quiet! This is my natural, indoor voice! Aside from that nonsensical statement, you should address your King more politely! Pikeymon here is quite strong you know? Not strong enough to beat you up but strong all the same! If you want me to whisper, then help Pikeymon get stronger so that he can beat you up."
Pikemon looked at his brother with open eyes of shock and disbelief. Things weren't looking too good at the moment. A Mega-level just angrily asked the twins to be quiet and RoyalPikeymon did just the opposite and then told off the Mega-level digimon. However, the response from said Mega-level digimon was quite different than Pikemon thought, "Hehehe, get stronger, eh? Why not go after the Digimental in the Ancient Ruins? Rumors say a Digimental helps any digimon digivolve into a stronger form."
"A Digimental? That sounds easy enough! Let us go Pikeymon, TO THE ANCIENT RUINS!"
What RoyalPikeymon and Pikemon didn't know is how dangerous the Ancient Ruins really are. Puppetmon used this chance to peacefully get rid of the two annoyances for either a long while or forever. Either which way, Puppetmon's inn would be short two annoyances. Anyway, not like RoyalPikeymon's mind can be changed when given such an easy option. Therefore, the two brothers went on their way to the Ancient Ruins.

"Are you sure you should be pushing yourself this hard? I get that you're trying to adjust to your new form but Maybe you should take it a bit slower? You'll probably be picking up a stronger form in the coming days soon enough." Sol asked of Alicia as she made her way through the area, experimenting with her chains as means of semi-fast travel. She'd already toyed with the idea in battle what with swinging herself around like some saurian-style Spiderwoman so what was the harm in seeing if certain environments could be useful to her like this.
It certainly cut down on walking, after all! The Steeldramon landed hard after a particularly fast and long swing, straightening up and dusting herself off, sighing as she took a moment to look over where she wound up. She was fairly close to a sprawling set of heavily aged ruins. If she were an archaeologist this probably would've been an amazing find that would've excited her immensely. As it was though, she merely gazed on it wonder. Then Sol cleared his non-existent throat to get her attention again.
"Huh? Oh, sorry. Still, I didn't really get a chance to practice with Rustdramon at all and we know how badly that nearly went. If Kai hadn't gotten his partners to digivolve again I probably would've been roasted alive that day. I can't really afford to take it easy when the whole point is experimenting to see what I can really do. Even as Steeldramon my first use of the form was throwing it right into a fight. What'll I do if I can't leverage every scrap of power and utility I can out of a form before getting the next one?" Alicia answered back, humming softly.
"I suppose I can't fault that logic... Still, take care to not exhaust yourself to the point where you can't run or fight if something came along." Sighing, the Spirit of Steel then perked up and Alicia felt him 'looking' around. "Kid, heads up. Got two unknowns approaching. Relatively small, but don't assume anything about their strength from it."
Nodding to herself, Alicia went quiet and looked around, trying to spot the pair that her Spirit had noticed.

The walk to the Ancient Ruins proved uneventful for the twin digimon. In fact, how they eve got there was a complete mystery to the jabber-jaw RoyalPikeymon. He just kept talking and talking and eventually noticed that the two brothers made it to their destination. On the other hand, Pikemon was the one who knew what was going on during the hot trek. Ask for directions wasn't easy in the Western Flatlands, especially when most everyone didn't casually venture around and simply hand out directions. The twins were lucky they didn't get mugged on their way to the Ancient Ruins, but only Pikemon appreciated the luck.
"Brother, this area seems just as dusty as the one a few seconds ago. Cool right!? WRONG! Dust is boring! Nothing but sand and debris everywhere! Even those Ancient Ruins will probably have nothing but dust and sand! Why did you decide to come here in the first place?"
"You wanted to come here, remember? *Sigh* Of course you don't. Well, sorry your majesty. I'll try to get stronger so that you aren't stuck in this dusty place much longer."
However, upon arrival to the large set of ruins, the twins encountered a menacing figure made of metal and teeth. Pikemon became nervous for the sheer strength this digimon pulsated seemed stronger than anything met up to this point in time. RoyalPikeymon could also feel this feminine digimon's strength and therefore, "Wow! You look-!" Unfortunately for RoyalPikeymon, Pikemon wouldn't let any of his brother's nonsense pass through his mouth, especially the nonsense starting with the words "You look..." Those words spelled nothing but trouble coming from the brash, royal blob. Speaking one's mind is a fine trait to have, but RoyalPikeymon didn't know how to control such a power! Pikemon put his shield-hand over his brother's mouth in order to stop his noise from reaching the ears of the metal tyrant-like figure staring them down. Hopefully Pikemon could pull out some personality traits of the Steeldramon so as to understand how dire this situation really was;
"We came here for some...um...sight seeing. Yeah, just sight seeing, hahaha! Yeah, sight seeing. We don't want any trouble. If you could just...ignore us."
If the steel titan ignored the little pipsqueaks, then the situation would be much less dire. On the other hand, if the brothers ended up in the stomach of this metallic beast, then that would be the end of their story. Only time could tell, "We are just gonna pass by you now...please ignore us, please." This cowardice was unlike Pikemon, but he knew he couldn't face that monstrosity alone and protect RoyalPikeymon at the same time. Pikemon kept his brother suspended from speaking while slinking past the metal digimon, making sure to face it every step of the way.

Post by Takara Kureha on Mar 26, 2016 19:58:25 GMT
Enter Takara Kureha, stage left.
No wait, he was there the whole time. He slammed his glass of milk down on the table with the force of a thousand suns! That is to say, he set it down gently on the table, and called to pay his tab. The shouting upstairs had struck a golden cord within the Treasure Hunters' mind. It wasn't like he had a clue what a Digimental was, but if it was in the ruins, it was treasure. And treasure was Takara Kureha's business.
He was a stranger in a strange land. A human among Digimon, with not a soul he could count on but himself. Hagurumon didn't count. After all, Hagurumon was nothing more than a minion. A cog in the grand works of Takara Kureha. But hey, he made a convenient shield, power mixer, hoverboard, cargo tray, blunt weapon, and dinner plate. And in the end, did anything other than that really matter?
Takara had a distinct advantage over the Pikemon- He both left first, and knew where the ancient ruins were off the top of his head! What proper treasure hunter wouldn't have all the prime treasure locations memorized, after all? Okay, and he had been there before. With Nova Ozuka and his gang. But they talked too much, so he ditched them. And as you might expect, he didn't even consider walking. Hoverboard, remember?
Even so, he didn't arrive at the ruins before the two Digimon by that large a margin- Hagurumon was by no means a fast hoverboard. Note- Strap a rocket engine to Hagurumon next time you find one. That should speed things up a bit. He took a seat on Hagurumon's back, the gear Digimon forced to float face down for no particularly good reason other than Takara felt like it. And Takara waited, waited and watched. For he saw potential in those kids. Potential to be Master Trap Setter-offers Apprentice Treasure Hunters! And of course, it was his solemn duty as the Treasure Hunter Extraordinaire to bring out that potential!
So as cool as the armored dragon was, Takara Kureha had no particular interest in it. As the two familiar voices from the inn passed by the ridiculously cool dragon, Takara took it upon himself to call to them. "Y'know boys, if you'll be exploring the ruins... You'll want a guide." If Takara had a hat, y'know, one of those cool fedoras like all the treasure hunters wear, he'd have tipped it. Instead, he settled for a flip from Hagurumon's back to right in front of the boys. More impressive when you consider that he was still sitting down.
If he had a business card, this would be a good time to take it out. But he doesn't. "Takara Kureha. Treasure hunter. I can help." He offered his hand for a handshake. Hagurumon just kinda floated around awkwardly like the good minion that he is.

Alicia smiled a bit as she saw the two brother Digimon come along, though given it was hidden under her steel-clad form the two only got to see her stance and the fake fangs hammered into her helm. She supposed it was understandable for small and, apparently, relatively new Digimon to get worried on her appearance alone. Well, one of them at least. The crowned one seemed like he was more then happy to start chattering away at the mere sight of another person.
If only they knew she really meant no harm and was perfectly content to be on her way and leave them be. Pikemon might not have felt the need to be so cautious with that bit of information. Still, the Steeldramon allowed herself a bit of a giggle as she watched the two edge around her. "You get drawn into hard situations a lot, don't you?" she asked, mainly aiming her question at Pikemon as she figured he was the one constantly cleaning up RoyalPikeymon's messes.
Still, the Steeldramon had to jump in surprise as another voice rang out, causing her to turn and spot the Tamer and Hagurumon pair that had managed to slip by her unnoticed. How'd he pull that one off? Was she that focused on keeping an eye out for the little knight and crowned Digimon? ... Wait they were going to go into the ruins?
"Alicia... are you-" was all Sol managed to get out before the Spirit User spoke up again.
"It's not entirely uncommon for ruins to have some kind of protectors as well. I may not be much in the grand scheme of things yet, but I'll certainly be willing to lend a hand if it comes to a fight breaking out in there." Alicia offered, tilting her head as she smiled more, visibly this time.
"You did... oh boy..."

The situation was intense as Pikemon slunk past the metal dramon. Key word is "was" as in the situation became much less intense after the dramon spoke and relieved her intentions, to a degree. At least Pikemon and RoyalPikeymon wouldn't get stomped and chewed to pieces just yet, "You're friendly?"
Pikemon attempted to ask some other questions, but his grip on RoyalPikeymon accidentally loosened and the little red blob started to chatter everyone's ears off, "Brother! You do not put such filthy hands on royalty such as myself! At the very least you may kiss my point out of respect! Anyway...what was I going to say before my brother so rudely put his stinking hands on my body? Ah, right! Wow, you look friendly!"
Pikemon didn't know that RoyalPikeymon could sense the "friendliness" in others just by looking at them. The blue, limbed blob just sighed and let his brother continue jabbering, "So-Wha!? A digimon just fell out of the sky with another digimon! Not only that, they want to help us find the Digimental within the Ancient Ruins! As per usual, today is my lucky day! Granted, the talking one's name leaves much to be desired, so I will just give him a new name! Boldmon, you are now part of my royal subjects! Whoohoo! As for the non-talking digimon, I will call you...Quietmon! Yeah!"
Pikemon didn't know what to think of the newcomers. One seemed to have complete control over the other, but he couldn't tell who controlled what in the relationship. Perhaps the talking digimon is the puppet or perhaps the silent one is the puppet. Either which way, there seemed to be an ominous relationship going on between the newcomers. Anyway, Pikemon noticeably kept his guard up in anticipation of...anything at point. RoyalPikeymon started to walk into the Ancient Ruins, expecting everyone to follow him and rescue him if anything went wrong;
"Follow me into the Ancient Ruins where we will find the Digimental! Do not forget to rescue me if anything goes wrong! Would not want your King to die so early after just becoming his subjects, right? Huehue-ah! I almost forgot to make the tall, metal, Miss into my growing empire of subjects! What is your name? Ah! I know! Missdramon! That MUST be your name! Alright, let us continue into the ruins! Don't forget to protect me!"
Pikemon sighed and made sure to stay closest to his precious brother. He wouldn't let anyone get in RoyalPikeymon's way, not when his majesty is this motivated...as usual. He glared at everyone at least once before doing so again. He made sure to keep an eyes on everyone, most importantly RoyalPikeymon.

"And I thought Kuu was eccentric... This little blob with a crown is just all over the place. Alicia are you sure you want to get into this mess? He seems like one of those morons who believe their entitled to everything that tickles their fancy. The fact that he just out right declared you, the General, and the Hagurumon as 'his subjects' is just icing on the metaphorical cake... Plus, while I understand people not knowing the name of your current form, that's clearly a human riding on a poor, probably heavily abused Hagurumon. And to top it off, Takara introduced himself by name. Is this youngling trying to irritate people or is he really just the dullest sword in the armory?"
To say that Sol was annoyed or even straight up angered by RoyalPikeymon's methods of taking command of the situation was a bit of an understatement. While Alicia herself was a bit irritated to be honest, it wasn't really worth ranting about in her opinion. Maybe the spirit had a really bad encounter with a similar person? "Is this bringing up bad memories, Sol?"
"... you could say that, yes..." And Alicia dropped that line of thought there. It was pretty obviously a place the Steel Spirit didn't want to go to at all on this trip. Now hopefully to address the RoyalPikeymon and try to clear up his misunderstandings concerning her.
"Ah, before we get much further, I'm actually a Steeldramon thank you, and have a more personal name beyond that. Please, call me Alicia." the armored dragon spoke up as she fell into step beside RoyalPikeymon and sighing. This was goign to be a long day, wasn't it?

Oh yes, Takara was fond of this shiny gold one. And not just because he reminded him of a golden bauble the likes of which is found in the deepest depths of a treasure temple. He boomed with laughter. "Boldmon, eh? I'll take it! Come, Quietmon, there is work to be done!" Poor Hagurumon was far too whipped to even complain. The gear bobbed along behind as Takara marched boldly into the ruins with the pair of Pikeymon and Royal Pikeymon.
"Now then- The first rule of treasure hunting! Anything obvious, has already been found! If looking for treasure, you have to look deep!" With a dramatic flourish, the Xros General pointed at the large temple amidst the ruins. "That's where it will be. Deep in the sprawling labyrinth of traps and trouble beneath that temple, lies the treasure we seek." If the idea of trouble, well, troubled him, he showed no sign. In fact, he looked rather excited at the prospect.
And hey, Takara wasn't exactly lying when he said he knew the temple! He'd been there before, with friends A and B! He just couldn't remember their names! But he did remember the path to their secret base! Which was why he would be going the exact opposite way! No self-respecting treasure would be found in the same area as the goal chamber! And any treasure in that chamber was long gone (He checked). "Onwards! To treasure!"

"Steeldramon? Alicia? Nah! You look like a Missdramon to me! But as you are a loyal subject, I will grant you a preferable name, Aliciadramon! Yeah! Best of both words!"
RoylPikeymon was pushing his luck, but between the two brothers only Pikemon seemed to notice. This "Alicia" named herself outside of her unheard of species. Odd in Pikemon's opinion, but what did he knew? He lets himself get called whatever RoyalPikeymon's whim sees fit. Granted, that's a whole different problem, but Pikemon is used to his majesty. Boldmon seemed to make a relevant statement, but Pikemon stayed suspicious of everyone other than his brother. No matter how useful these persons may be, Pikemon would never trust a soul for the sake of his beloved brother.
"Anyway, Boldmon makes a good point. Granted, his point will never be as good as mine, but he can try! Let us head to where Boldmon indica-!"
Thankfully for everyone's ears, RoyalPikeymon seems to have set off a dusty old trap with a specific amount of pressure that RoyalPikeymon just about matched. The trap made RoyalPikeymon fall into a spiraling slide which lead to who knows where and land with an audible plop followed by, "..................................................." meaning RoyalPikeymon landed somewhere that mostly muted his babble. However, RoyalPikeymon didn't know that and therefore a string of squeaks could still be heard from above indicating the regal blob's lack of acknowledgement for this incident. He just continued to squeak as if he activated the trap on purpose.
Pikemon became instantly worried and followed after his brother shouting, "For his majesty!" He, too, landed on a spiraling slide, but this slide seemed to lead elsewhere. Thankfully for Pikemon, he landed somewhere that allowed him to hear the continued squeaks of his brother from a vague direction. Hopefully that would be enough for the knightly brother to meet up with is brother again. If anything, Pikemon at least hoped he would meet RoyalPikeymon before the other subjects. Who knows that they might do!?

Alicia grit her teeth and clenched a fist in annoyance at the RoyalPikeymon's almost casual dismissal of her comments as well as his apparent belief that he had the kind of power to just declare someone his 'subject' and expect it to stick. She'd have to give him a piece of her mind on that irritating trend of his. The fact that he just went and haphazardly smashed her human name and Digimon form's name together like that was especially aggravating and it was only a brief moment of silence to settle herself down that kept her from making her point in a more literal fashion, via Shot Blade.
"Now wait just a second here," She began once she was certain she wouldn't go off the deep end and attack in her frustration. "First off, I'm no one's 'subject' so you can cut that out right now. I'm only here because I felt like offering some help, if yo-" She paused as RoyalPikeymon went on to talk about Takara's suggestion as if he hadn't even bothered to listen to her at all. "OI! At least have the common decen-"
She had to cut herself off again, as now the crowned blob has gone and fallen into a trap door, The slide underneath sent him careening off to who knows where, shortly followed by Pikemon. Was she ever going to get a word in with them?
"Eh... this is out of character for me but good riddance. Let's get out of this dusty place before something kills you. Like a spiked ceiling suddenly dropping on your head." Sol commented with a huff. When Alicia just sighed, looking into the trap, the Steel Spirit seemed to realize this wasn't the end of the tale here. "H-Hey, kid, are you seriously going to keep going? Kid!"
No good, he wasn't going to reach her at the moment. She traced which path the RoyalPikeymon had gone down and sighed, hopping in. "Chain Lasher!" She called out, deploying her black and white chains to swing herself towards the sound of the princely blobs babbling via wrapping around the spiralling slides. The Steeldramon was certainly going to regret this, of that she was certain, but she couldn't bring herself to just blatantly abandon the brothers.
"Ugh... this is going to be one of those days, is that it?"

Ohohoho! Takara had known interesting things would follow! And even if he hadn't, you couldn't prove him wrong! He dragged forth his less than vocal partner, threw him down the sudden hole that had appeared. Haguru- I mean, Quietmon, was honestly shocked. He had expected his... Whatever Takara was to him, to completely fail to notice this turn of events. Well, not like he had much time to think about that... As his face was rather casually ground into the stone slide, Takara riding on his back.
"Yee-ha!"
Oh yeah, Takara loved this.
Sparks rose from where the metal ground against stone- Anyone who bothered watching might feel pity for the poor Digimon being used as a sled. Well, it was his own fault for being the one near Takara Kureha when the boy learned he needed a partner in order to do that thing where you took the thing and the other thing and did the thing and got the whatchamacallit. Completely and utterly Quietmon's fault.
"As expected of royalty! Finding the secret passage so early- I see this hunt is off to a good start!"
Because there was totally no way that there was a trap at the end of this slide, right?

RoyalPikeymon got the happier end of the trap, the end that didn't involve a second half to the slide. He plopped onto the dusty floor of the room he ended up in. The room was lit up by runes spelled out in the Digital World's language. RoyalPikeymon was technically still a baby and couldn't read the language on the walls so when Aliciadramon crashed her way into RoyalPikeymon's side of the trap, RoyalPikeymon asked his angry subject a few unrelated questions;
"You seemed angry when I called you by the name I gave you. Why? I thought I was GREAT with names! Must not be the name then. Why are you upset, Aliciadramon? Is it that time of the month? You know, when you are feeling extra frustrated that you are small, meek, and can not hope to rule the everything. THAT time of the month. is that just me? I am the most special digimon of all time, so most likely. But I'm perfect, no?"
RoyalPikeymon continued to ask unrelated questions without need of an answer simply because the fancy blob couldn't help himself. However, the room seemed to get annoyed by RoyalPikeymon's antics and started to flash the runes in a certain direction, revealing a path towards another area, possibly treasure or another trap to get RoyalPikeymon to shut up.
"Oh look! My royalty must have activated a hidden path! Follow me, Aliciadramon! We may even be able to get back to the other subjects; Pikeymon, Boldmon, and Quietmon!"
Perhaps Aliciadramon said or did something that would change RoyalPikeymon's enthusiastic stride, or perhaps not. Either which way, RoyalPikeymon would continue to talk and follow the glowing path.
"Aliciadramon, are you lonely? You seemed to be alone when my brother and I first met you. Are you looking for something here, too? Let us look for that thing together after we find the Digimental to help my brother get stronger! Boldmon and Quietmon would probably LOVE to help search for more stuff!"
Aliciadramon would probably notice the enthusiasm radiating from the regal blob's being, perhaps blindingly so.
On the other side of the trap, Pikemon drew the short end of the shtick. The slide lead to a legitimate trap, but was it trap worthy anymore? The Ancient Ruins are ancient after all, and the trap at the end of the slide for Pikemon represented this "ancientness" quite superbly; Spikes lined the entire room, also lit by runes for some reason, yet the spikes were so old and in disrepair that Pikemon hit them, toppled a few, started a chain of toppling spikes, and landed relatively safely on those toppled spikes. Granted, there was some pain involved as rock isn't the softest of materials;
"Ouch...RoyalPikeymon? Where are yo- OOF!!!"
Just then a metal thing hit Pikemon in the back and sent him rolling against the other side of the room. It seems as though Takara and Hagurumon "chose" Pikemon's side of the slide. This both frustrated and eased Pikemon's nerves. On one one hand, these two shady persons weren't with RoyalPikeymon. On the other hand, they were with Pikemon. Then Pikemon thought back to the Steeldramon and hoped she wasn't violent and simply frustrated by RoyalPikeymon's antics. Pikemon dove in before any of them and so didn't know the outcome, much less the fate of his beloved brother. He could only hope his brother was safe.
Anyway, Pikemon noticed the runes starting to flash in a specific direction, revealing a new passage to follow. Pikemon tried to go alone in hopes of reuniting with his brother but knew he probably wouldn't survive without Takara and Hagurumon's help, "Ehem...let's help each other out. You spot a trap and I spring it safely. Spears are useful that way. Deal?"

The Steeldramon groaned and shook her head as she subjected herself to more of RoyalPikeymon's babbling. Why couldn't she patch up her metaphorical bleeding heart when the subject to receive such assistance was such an irritation? And she didn't even have Pikemon or Takara divert her attention away from the annoyance. Poor Hagurumon seemed like he'd already been broken to the point where he could barely even think anymore, let alone talk so sadly he didn't really contribute much. Still, she tried to get a word in edgewise to try and stop him in his verbal tracks.
"Yes, I am rather an-" And another question. "You're really no-" A new misunderstanding to try and correct him on. "It is the- What!? No, it's not that ti-... That doesn't even make any sense!" Oh look, she actually managed to finish a sentence. Granted it was by virtue of shouting to get over RoyalPikeymon's constant babble. Apparently he was so irritating even inanimate objects couldn't stand him.
"Oh, he did NOT just claim he was perfect. Did he? For crying out loud he did. Alicia, this is a lost cause. Ditch him, let the terrors slumbering in these ruins eviscerate him. Maybe they'll load his data so the Digital World never has to deal with him again. Whatever you do, we should leave right now." Apparently her Spirit had had it with RoyalPikeymon, and Alicia could only gape a bit at how callous he was about his opinion. Granted, that opinion was becoming more and more appealing...
"I have to at least see this trip through. I did offer to help... Maybe I'll get through to him." Alicia muttered, before noting that the RoyalPikeymon was already on the move again. And apparently glowing quite vibrantly. What was that about. Regardless, she needed to stop him there for a second.
Loosing her chains, she flicked one out towards RoyalPikeymon and wrapped it around him. Another flick of the chain and a launch dagger had the crowned blob digimon left hanging from the ceiling and unable to progress any farther. If she had any hope of getting something through to this guy, possibly help him be a better man... err... mon. Or at least not be quite so irritating.
"Actually, lets wait a little bit. You and I, we're going to chat a little bit. Pikemon, Takara, and Hagurumon will be fine for a bit I'm sure. And I swear you're going to hear me out this time or I will seriously consider leaving this place. There's nothing here for me after all and I was just passing through anyways to get more used to my newest form."
Hopefully she had RoyalPikeymon's attention now. And hopefully something she said would stick with him. "Now, short version of what I'm going to say: You want to rule anything? You need to change your attitude, fast. Keep going they way you're going and you will anger something that Pikemon can't save you from. And when, not if, that happens, you're going to be killed. I've seen it happen a lot of times to ruling figures who step on the people they wish to lead too much."
Taking a breath, Alicia settled herself down. "The thing is, right now you're a really poor ruler right now. Pikemon might put up with you because you're brothers, and Takara might find being called Boldmon amusing, but those responses are the exception to this behavior, not the normal. If you really want to rule people, respecting them as living and thinking individuals is key to that. The more you disrespect someone, the less you being royalty means to them. In fact being royalty becomes a curse for you in this case, drawing hate and blood lust aimed at you. In fact, I have a... friend who can contact me at will from far away who is quite frankly fed up with you and suggesting that I just leave you to die all alone here."
That was one way to put it. And an understatement at that. "Now, as much as I'm considering listening to him, I'm willing to tough it out for a little bit longer. You have to shape up though and realize the Digital World doesn't just revolve around you though. You'll grow up to be the kind of ruler people secretly plot to assassinate or overthrow so that they can put someone they actually like in the position. Pikemon's great and all, but if he doesn't know what's going on then there's nothing he can do except watch you die. You want to actually be a great ruler? Start respecting the people you want to lead. Which in part means don't just go declaring someone your subject and expecting them to fall in line and obey without question."
That part was probably what irritated her the most, frankly. "On the other hand, if you respect people for who they are, they might come and follow you by their own choice. Those who don't, leave them be. Forcing their loyalty will only lead to problems down the line. A great leader earns the loyal subjects he seeks. A great leader doesn't just assume things will go his way, he makes it happen while still caring for those under his rule. Respect what they say and think, don't just trample over them."
Heaving a sigh, she set the RoyalPikeymon down after her rant, pulling her chain back. "Now then, RoyalPikeymon, shall we try and start on the right foot this time? I'm Alicia, nice to meet you." The Steeldramon smiled now, hoping that something got through to him. If not... well she didn't know what she'd do.
"I'll get the popcorn for when this blows up in your face..." Sol grumbled a bit. Alicia pointedly ignored him on this.

Takara laughed. Loudly. "I like this one! He learns quickly!" The boy seemed less than concerned with the loss of their two companions. Surely RoyalPikeymon's royal demeanor would protect him from traps, as surely as it had found them this secret entrance. Any thought of Missdramon was lost the second she left his line of sight. This was his territory! Or at least, the thing that would soon be his territory! Treasure! Traps! Triumph! What else starts with T? Takara! Oh yeah! That's right! If he had an audience, he would have done a little dance. But he didn't.
That is to say, deal." Takara switched suddenly from his normal mode, goofing off, to his serious mode. He wished he had a cool hat to put on. It would make the whole shift very cool. Seeking out traps was no big deal! He had eyes honed from finding the shiniest of objects in piles of unfortunately literal crap. As such, when he entered the tunnel, it wasn't long before he spotted some very conspicuous holes in the wall. And a very obvious raised stone in the ground. Pssh, why did ancient stonemasons always put the easiest stuff first? He didn't even need Pikemon to disarm this one!
At least, that's how he'd explain the fact that he was currently in the air, leaping forward to slap said raised stone like it was the buzzer on a quiz show and he knew the answer. Arrows whizzed over his head. Now that was more like it! Where was the fun in a treasure hunt without traps? Nowhere, that's where! "Oh. Uh. You can have the next one." If he was a cat, he would totally be licking his paw and acting like nothing had happened. But he was a human, silly! So instead he stood up and casually strode onwards, regardless of Pikeymon's reaction to his nonsense.
"Speaking of which!" he announced not long after, and pointing at another stone in the floor. Hey, this one wasn't raised! The ancients were playing smarter! But not smart enough to fool Takara Kureha, Treasure Hunter!"Whaddya think of this one? Axes? That'd be my guess. Then next comes the ancient buzz-saws. And lasers. Can't have a good ancient dungeon without lasers!" Hey, he might seem crazy... Okay, so he probably is crazy, but at least he also seems to know what he's doing! Maybe you should just take his word on the ancient lasers.

After RoyalPikemyon was let out of the binding chains, he blinked a few times at Aliciadramon, as if he was stunned. However, shortly afterwards, he just continued bounce through the path and talk as if everything was alright, "Who knew you had so much pent up frustration! I am glad I was able to help you let off some steam, but you could have asked before blowing up in my face. But I guess asking doesn't give as much of a kick as simply yelling. Anyway, let us continue down this path!"
RoyalPikeymon was indeed stunned by Aliciadramon's outburst. Unfortunately, RoyalPikeymon's habit suddenly kicked in and he started to literally speak his mind, "Oh my ME! I thought she was going to EAT me! I could not hear half of what she said I was so scared! Those teeth look SHARP! I need to stop calling her by her name, too. Aliciadramon does not seem to like her name, whatsoever! I think I will just use pronouns from now on...what is a 'pronoun'? Ah! Never mind! My Data Royale ability must be feeding my information because I almost wet myself!"
This continued for quite some time as long as Aliciadramon didn't interrupt. Surprisingly enough, no other traps activated either. Maybe the traps just didn't want anything to do with RoyalPikeymon and thought his talking was contagious. Aliciadramon seemed to prove that for a second there, "My royalty must be suppressing the traps! I will get FAR in life!"
Eventually, RoyalPikeymon would bounce into a room filled with dusty treasure and the like. Whether or not Aliciadramon continued to follow the regal blob or not didn't quite matter since traps weren't an issue so far. That is, unless Aliciadramon tried to lecture RoyalPikeymon again or simply eat him.
Pikemon didn't have a problem with Takara and Hagurumon setting off the traps. At least those two would be in danger rather than Pikemon. Granted, Pikemon pressed his spear against the arrow-shooting tiles to see if Takara really did set off all the arrows, and indeed the blonde one did. The tiles only seemed to work once and so Pikemon just strolled through towards the next trap that Takara pointed out. Nothing that Pikemon could notice until pointed out by the expert. However, suspicion arose when Takara and Hagurumon didn't eagerly set this trap off themselves. Hagurumon never seems to show emotions, but Takara is the opposite thus far.
Pikemon gave a blank glare at Takara and Hagurumon. He couldn't trust them, but at least Pikemon had some skills to get him out of tough situations, "FLEET OF FOOT!" Pikemon dashed across the trap Takata pointed out. However, nothing happened until a second or two later when a pitfall opened up behind Pikemon. The trap wasn't able to activate fast enough! Pikemon turned around to face Takara and Harugumon in order to make a face at them for trying to use him as the guinea pig, but upon inspection of the pitfall...it was filled with sand, dirt, and rocks such that anyone could simply walk across. The activation of this trap alone was probably a miracle. All Pikemon could do now was sigh, turn back around, and notice a glow at the end of the path and RoyalPikemon's voice!
Ignoring whatever traps may or may not still lay in wait, Pikemon ran towards the sound of his brother's voice! A trap or two activated, but they were slow and clunky, most likely to kill the cautious adventurer. At the end of the path, a treasure room presented itself!
OOC: I'm not being annoying on purpose. That's just the way I wrote these characters...sorry if my character conflicts with your character...should have probably said that in my first post...
