So, Hello all. I am Shenanigans, Shen for short, and I am looking to join you guys here on this rp forum. I am really excited, though looking at the rules there are lots of things I have to take account of to get used to. I have had a fair amount of RP experience, and I hope to bring in a bunch of zany characters that are fun to interact with and create interesting situations for all. I am an old school digimon nut back from the days of Digimon adventures, and my favorite was always gomamon. Ikkakumon is one of those great digimon you have to love because it is the combination of a Lion, a polar bear, and a Narwhal and it shoots rockets out of its horn, which is hilarious to me. Digimon always had such good banter, so I hope to instill some of that into these roleplays.
I am really excited, but I have some serious questions regarding some of those rules put up for the rp, as a newcomer here.

Hey, welcome!
Sure, what do you need to ask about?

Do I really need to have 25 different 200+ Word posts to get to the rookie level? A friend and I wanted to be solo digimon, and we got a little excited at the prospect of doing a digimon rp and created this interesting and driving back story along with complex characters, and it seems a bit hard to have to start out roleplaying as in-training and makes having an interesting backstory really difficult to establish. Plus it makes it hard for new people to get involved. I can totally understand the sentiment for rules, because I have seen roleplay forums go nuts, but you guys are also like the only major Digimon RP we have been able to find.

First off, welcome to the site!
Second off, I can understand the possible annoyance and that's easily fixed. Lucky for you guys, Solo Digimon get 25 posts after being approved so they start at rookie level right on the spot. Be a bit hard to start as an In-training and hopping around for 25 posts, no? :p

I didn't realize you could award posts. That is fantastic! My friend and I were worried about that. Thanks so much.
