"Well that definitely was... Something." Pure comment. Their recent encounter with Ratatoskr still fresh in his mind as he walked towards the warehouse. He still wasn't quite sure what to make of the weird squirrel. At least he proved to be friendly enough.
The sun was slowly falling in the horizon as they approached the warehouse. "Seems we left later then anticipated. That figures. I just hope Crystal isn't getting worried about us." Pure added. Not wanting to add any more stress to his sister's life then he already has.
It was around that time when he caught sight of his sister sitting against a tree. Her form seeming to be half asleep as her head hung low. Was she waiting here for so long that she nearly feel asleep?
"Hey Crys. Hope you weren't waiting for us long. We ended up making a new... Acquaintance during out trip, and lost track of time." Pure told her nervously as he rubbed the back of his head.
Something seemed off though. Crystal didn't respond to Pure at all. Instead only acknowledging his presence by raising her head just enough to look at him. Her mind seemingly contemplating something.
"Crys? Are you okay?" Pure asked worried as he took a step towards her.

^Yes... I admit that I would not mind meeting him again in the future. I hope your ears are okay, though. I can not imagine how bad that static must have been for you.^
Sanoske also found Ratatsokr to be an interesting character. Time escaped them, and it was decided to get back to Crystal before night hit.
They returned to a half-sleeping Crystal, who didn't quite reply to Pure when he spoke to her. Something was up with her... Sanoske figured it was something involving recent events still. But she wanted to say... something? Judging by the way she looked at him, Sanoske felt that he shouldn't get too close. It felt like a sibling thing, and something told him that, for now, he would stay back just a bit.
^You know you can tell us anything, Crystal. I, too, would like to know what is on your mind. ^

Not a word left Crystal's mouth as she cocked her head to the side. It was as if she didn't quite understand what exactly the two of them meant. She then moved to stand up. However as she did so, her movements didn't seem quite right. They were pretty stiff, almost puppet-like.
"Crystal? Your starting to worry me. Are you alright?" Pure asked as he grew ever more worried. Something just didn't feel right about this situation. "You can tell me if somethings wrong."
Crystal lips moved to respond though no words came out. She paused seeming to be slightly surprised by this fact. She held a finger up for the two of them to wait a second. Her movement still not as natural as it should be.
"Crys?"

This was getting too weird. Something wasn't right with Crystal...
...Sanoske did a mental check and, no, it didn't seem like he accidentally made another Crystal copy that was somehow sentient. At least, he hoped he didn't.
^Crystal... what is going on? Is this some... joke? Because even I admit, as much weirdness has been going on I would rather not have... more of that.^
He also thought it may have been another Hylden, but that couldn't be it. Mel didn't seem to have this issue when he took over Pure's body; the unnatural movements and the accidental muteness. It certainly couldn't be Celeste, she was still in Cuttah's body.
All Sanoske could do is look confused for the moment.

Yet still no response from Crystal as she just stood there. Both Sanoske and Pure appeared to be pretty worried about her. Not that Crystal would blame them. She did appear to be acting quite strangely.
Crystal then seemed shocked as she noticed something behind the pair. Without warning she jumped high into the air, disappearing from sight in the foliage above. What has Crystal so freaked out? And since when was she able to jump so high?
The pair would soon get their answer as they hear a familiar voice not a second later. "Pure! Sanoske!" Crystal called out from behind them as she ran over to them, "Wow I'm happy I ran into you."
"Crys? But... But who? How? You were just...?" Pure seemed honestly stunned by the sudden change of events that his words pretty unintelligible to the Lopmon.
"Pure we don't have time for that. Now I know what I'm about to say is strange, but have either of you seen someone who looked exactly like me? And I don't mean like another Lopmon. Exactly like me." Crystal asked with a sense of urgency in her voice. What was going on?

Crystal was still being a bit odd... but then suddenly left, jumping into the trees. Could those little bunny legs propel her so high? Maybe it was that training? And why was Sanoske being to find Crystal with a strong set of legs alluring?
This would have to be answered later as another Crystal appeared behind them, much to their confusion. Crystal... this Crystal was looking for the other Crystal.
^I... you just... missed you... I mean... She...
Oh no... have I really sub-consciously created another Crystal? A-are my powers going out of control?^
This happened to Sanoske's creator before he was sealed. Was the same happening to him? Sanoske now looked more worried than confused. As much as he loved Crystal, if he's going to make a copy of her he's going to do it of his own volition.

"Wait Sanoske. You have something to do with this? How is that even possible?" Pure asked becoming ever more confused. How in the world could Sanoske subconsciously create another Crystal? Especially one so... Strange and creepy?
Crystal stiffled what sounded to be a small chuckle before shaking her head. "Sorry. Need to focus. Do you know where that other me went? I think she stole my necklace."
"Uhh... She just jumped into that tree over there." Pure answered, not quite sure what that chuckle was about.
"Thanks." Crystal then quickly went over to the tree, and began to scale up it. She seemed determined to find that other her.
Pure only stayed in his daze for a few seconds longer before chasing after Crystal. Wanting to not only help his sister, but also find out what exactly was going on. Yet almost as if on cue, as Crystal went into the foliage above, the look alike fell down behind where they all stood, and began running off in the opposite direction.

^I do not know what is even going on, Pure... I really hope this is not some subconscious recreation of Crystal I accidentally made... speaking as an accidentally made entity from one's subconscious...^
Too preoccupied with his concern, he didn't answer Crystal's question and didn't quite catch her chuckle. But when the copy-Crys had revealed herself again, Sanoske had decided to step in, creating a rather large illusionary half dome that approached her, as well as an incoming other half that would appear and trap her if his plan worked.

The Crystal lookalike seemed hesitant for a second as the domes approached her. Almost as if she was debating if she should be caught. Yet before the domes could close in around her, her body moved to the side almost as if a string pulled her. She then quickly disappeared behind.
"Nice try Sanoske. She's a slippery one. I'll give her that." Crystal called out as she dropped down from the tree branch above. Having managed to witness Sanoske's failed attempt to capture from above.
Crystal then ran over to the tree the fake ran behind as fast as she could to discover, "Where did she...?" She wasn't there. Crystal's gaze shifted across the entire forest in hopes to catch sight of her vanishing doppleganger.
"Sanoske! Behind you!" She called out as sure enough the other Crystal was running away behind Sanoske once more.

He missed, and she vanished for a bit. He made a slight growl in annoyance before looking around. Now she was suddenly behind him. He began to run after her while preparing his Another Shade to aid in the copy's capture.
^Why do you keep running off? What are you exactly?^ Granted, he knew his questions would fall on highly sensitive but unresponsive ears as he galloped behind her on all fours. He could at least keep up, but he wasn't sure if he could catch her.

Of course there was no response from the Crystal he was chasing. There wasn't even any sign to acknowledge that she heard what he said. She just continued running. Leading the group on in what probably felt like a wild goose chase.
Pure, meanwhile, followed after the group from above. Carefully maneuvering from branch to branch just to keep up. This whole situation was just getting ridiculous. It was like this copycat wanted them to chase her.
Wait. What if it did?
The Terriermon's gaze moved from the lopmon they were chasing to Crystal. Could this just be another one of his sister's pranks? It wasn't like she had done this before. She could probably have easily located another Lopmon to act as her dopple. All it would take then is some well placed makeup to make them look like her. In fact. Now that he thought about it. Crystal could have asked just about anyone to play as her with the use of a holosuit. Not to mention the fact that it would explain why this Crystal refuses to talk. It would give up the game way to quickly.
Yet something about that line of thought didn't sit right with Pure. The way this Crys moved doesn't seem natural at all. Instead it was more like a puppet being tugged by invisible strings. And now that he thought about it. Both Crystals' movements seemed oddly coincidence. Was that just coinicident, or was there truly something else at work here.
There was only one way to find out.
Pure managed to get himself ahead of the group. Then, without any warning, he dropped down right in front of the fake Crys' path. "Sanoske now." Pure called out hoping the Gazimon would take advantage of the distraction he created.

Even Sanoske had to admit, he was beginning to think something was up as well. In his defense, though, the concept of making an accidental copy of someone was not exactly unheard of for the Gazimon. And given that notCrystal was the most detailed copy of someone else he ever made, he had concerns over what that attention to detail may have done to his subconscious knowledge of Crystal's body.
But now that he really thought about it, that other Crystal can't be his creation or his creator's. Not with such janky movement. He also remembered something form some time ago...
Pure appeared to block the chased Crystal. Taking the opportunity, Sanoske used his Another Shade, creating a copy of himself ahead of him to grab her. If it missed, the real Sanoske would be in a good position to catch her as well.

The fake Crystal stopped suddenly as Pure popped up in front of her in order to avoid crashing into him. This gave Sanoske's Another Shade all the time it needed to grab a hold of her. The fake struggled for a few seconds in the shades grips, trying to get free. Yet when it proved futile, she relented. It seemed the gig was up.
"Good... Good job guys... I'm impressed..." Crystal said once she caught up to the others, pausing every few seconds to catch her breath. She then began to make her way over to where Sanoske's shade held her double.
It was around now that Pure noticed something else. Crystal did state that this fake stole her necklace right? Because now that Pure had a better look at her, he couldn't help, but notice that she didn't have Crys' necklace anywhere on her. In fact. It kind of looked similar to Sanoske's shade in a way. Like it wasn't even actually there. Could it be..?
"Now then. I want what you stole from me now." Crystal demanded. Trying to continue the game if just for a little longer.

With the copy caught, the chase was over. Crystal had came over asking for her necklace back, but even Sanoske realized that it had nothing on her, as he can see what his own copy could see.
He began to clap, chuckling a bit.
^It is fine, Crystal. I have caught on to your little gag. I admit, I should have realized it sooner. Heh heh, I did not think my gift to you would have manifested like this, either.
Here is some advice, the best way to control a copy is to concentrate on spatial awareness and on the fly visualizations. With some practice you can have your copy move with... shall we say, less obvious puppeteering.^

"Haha... What do you mean Sanoske?" Crystal tried in vain to play stupid. Yet it seemed Sanoske knew full well what exactly Crystal had done.
"Come on Crys. You pulled something like this on me before." Pure added, tired of the game, "And what are you talking about Sanoske? Isn't this just some poor guy Crys pulled into this prank of hers."
It was at this time that the fake Crys faded from existence. Pure jumped a little at the sight of this. "Wha wha wha..." Pure mumbled as he wasn't quite sure to make of what happened. Since when was Crystal able to do something like that.
"Yeah. Sanoske gave me some of his data awhile back before we left the Hylden Realm. Never got a chance to test it out until now though. Still I thought I did pretty well having only a few hours of practice." Crystal claimed, "Kind of mentally exhausting though."
