((Sorry. My bad.))
"I don't think I have asked Cuttah a question today." Pure said to himself as he tried to think back. He didn't think he did. Then again after the incident where Cuttah had nearly shot him because of Mel's constant pestering, he's been trying to keep some distance between them. Maybe Mel did when he wasn't paying attention?
And what if I did. This is seriously one of the worst things you could waste so much of your brain on. Mel complained as he grew tired of Pure's train of thought, Now let me take control. It's time for me to check on how my sister is doing.
Pure shook his head. "Welp that sounds like a good idea Lezard. Why don't you take the lead? Perhaps I could help Rippah with the stew." The terriermon didn't want to die today.
Crystal just watched the scene play out in front of her. Not quite sure what exactly was going on. Were they all going to leave, or were they just going to leave the conversation between Cuttah and herself?
"If you all are going to leave, just make sure to inform us when dinner is ready." She requested before turning her attention back to Cuttah, "So then. Do you want to know how I style my ears?"

Rippah nodded in affirmation when Pure offered his aid in preparing the stew. He didn't need the help but, why not have someone else help? At least Cuttah would be more comfortable with fewer digimon just watching her.
The Wizardmon variant also said, "Don't worry, Crystal, I'm sure I'll manage to save some food for you with Rippah and Sanoske around, heh heh."
^I will not dignify that with a response.^
The guys went inside, leaving Cuttah and Crystal alone outside. Cuttah turned her head away in her initial response to Crys' question before answering, "I wouldn't bother unless you have ones that don't hurt yourself. "

Pure headed off with the rest of the guys as they went inside. He saw that it was best to keep Mel away from Cuttah for as long as he can.
"So what exactly do you need help with Rippah? Perhaps I could make a side dish for the stew seeing how it's probably already cooking as we speak."
Crystal gave Cuttah a small nod in response. "I wasn't actually going to do one. I was more going to try to explain it to you in case you were curious." Crystal explained, "To put it simply. I use to try to tie my ears kind of like a ribbon. It... Worked as well as you may expect."

Rippah glanced over at Pure, smirking a bit. Obviously, he liked the idea. "Sure, a side dish sounds great! And the *hurp* stew is indeed cooking.
If nothing else, I could see how well the local berries mesh with my cheesecake."
Of course, by this point Pure should already know by now that Rippah keeps salt, spices, and several boxes of cheesecake on his person almost all the time.
"Personally, steamed mushrooms sound more appealing... if that's not too much to ask for." -----
Cuttah had looked at Crystal's head... or at least the area above and around her head, as if scanning for some invisible thing. She then got up, licking her finger and holding it up to see which direction the wind was blowing, making sure the Lopmon wasn't downwind of her. The wind seemed rather calm, so she went behind her, chanting to her self mentally that she hoped Crystal wouldn't gag.
"Can I do something?"

"Steamed Mushrooms? Hmm... It would really depend on whether we currently have the mushrooms on hand or not. I rather not have anyone out their foraging when it's getting this late."
Pure thought back to the last time he cooked something. He could of swore they had some fresh mushrooms somewhere awhile back. The question was whether they were still there or did they end up being used in another meal?
Crystal couldn't help, but wonder if she had said something wrong. Was Cuttah trying to imagine what the Lopmon would look like with her ears tied? It wasn't actually all the pretty in Crystal's opinion.
Also why was Cuttah holding a wet finger in the air like that? The Lopmon guessed it was probably to check the direction for the wind, but why? For her flatulence problem? Because Crystal wasn't having to much of a problem dealing with it so far.
Wait I didn't accidentally make a strange face, did I? Crystal worried as Cuttah walked behind her. The last thing she wanted was to inadvertently make Cuttah feel insulted.
Then the Gabumon varient asked her a question. "Uhh... Sure... I guess." Crystal answered, more confused then anything else, "If you don't mind me asking though. What exactly do you plan on doing?"

"I do believe we still have some mushrooms leftover. No berries, though."
"Ehh *hurrrap* I can just get them myself, I don't mind going out alone."
"Well, as you've said once... what is life without variety in cheesecake?"
"*Burrrp?* I've never said that."
Lezard shook his head and looked away. "Must have been a dream of mine, then. My apologies. Anyway, the mushrooms are with the other food we have stored up more than likely."
Rippah thought it was a weird mistake for Lezard to make... but he didn't think much of it. -------------
Crystal asked Cuttah what she planned on doing, but she stammered a bit, hesitating. Perhaps it was a bad idea. She had took Crystal's words as minor distrust instead of curiosity, and began blaming and second guessing herself for not 'seeing' what she was doing probably shouldn't be done, despite what she had in mind being quite innocent.
"I... I'm sorry. I was being an idiot again. Just... never mind. Forget I did anything."
And she sat back down in her original spot. "Maybe you should go back inside... I'm sure you can talk with your boyfriend and brother more than me. Probably enjoy the smell of food more than me, too..."

So Lezard believed they still had some mushrooms leftover as well. That probably meant that they did. Though they won't know absolutely for sure until they check.
"Well I guess that is that then. I'll fix some steamed mushrooms for everyone, and Rippah can go get some berries for cheesecake for dessert."
Crystal felt bad as Cuttah called herself an idiot. She didn't think her slight hesitation on the whole thing would cause Cuttah to feel so down on herself. And now Cuttah was suggesting that the Lopmon should go inside.
"Come on now. No need to put yourself down like that. I was just wondering what you were doing is all." Crystal then paused as she made her decision, "You can go ahead and do what you were going to do without telling me if you want." She added hoping that giving her trust would help Cuttah in some way.

Lezard chuckled a bit at the mention of Rippah getting berries for the cheesecake for dessert.
"Oh, dear, I'm sorry I just... found it funny that you assumed Rippah would share his cheesecake. "
"Hey... I'll share if *belllch* I have to. I have plenty so..."
"...don't worry about it, my friend, I'm merely jesting with you."
Rippah sighed and began to walk out.
Meanwhile, Cuttah shook her head. "No, no, I was just being stupid. I shouldn't have approached you like that. I wasn't thinking. I can't invade someone's personal space like that... I can't... "
Rippah walked out, glancing at the two girls and seeing Cuttah depressed once more.
"Hey, sis, you two *beeelch* seemed to be getting along. What's going on? "
"B-brother... I'm just being a bother again..."

"Well I guess I should go start fixing the mushrooms then." Pure said with a shrug as he went off to the do just that. He really did hope that Rippah would share his cheesecake with everyone else. It's been to long since the last time he had cheesecake.
Crystal scratched the back of her head as she was at a lost. It appeared her attempts to make Cuttah feel better had failed. Yet before she was able to try again though, Rippah had made an appearance
"I wish you would stop saying that. No one has said anything about you being a bother." Crystal told Cuttah, not sure what else to say.
The Lopmon then turned her attention over to Rippah.
"So what are you doing out here Rippah? Just checking up on us?"

Rippah shook his head, interrupted by a belch, before continuing on. "Nah, I'm just gathering some berries real quick. Put some flavor into our dessert. I know you two don't really *need* me checking up on you.
And *hurrrp* sis, give yourself a chance, why don't ya? I would very, very much appreciate it if you could talk to Crystal while I'm off collecting berries."
Cuttah looked to Crystal and tried to speak, but said nothing. Shaking her head, she stood up and digivolved to her ultimate form, JillGarurumon.
"Brother, Crystal... I need to do something... maybe I won't be a bother if... just... I need to head off... don't worry about me... and don't follow me!"
And Cuttah ran off quickly. Rippah was a bit worried but... there was a tone in Cuttah's voice that didn't seem as sad as usual. He couldn't quite put his finger on it.
"I can only trust you to come back, sis..." Rippah said out loud, more to himself than anthing.

"Hey? Where are you..." Crystal began, but it was to late as Cuttah had already ran off. The lopmon had then took a step to follow before hesitantly stopping. "I guess I'll wait here then." She decided.
She then took a seat by the front of the warehouse to wait for Cuttah. "I hope she's okay." She mumbled in a low whisper to herself. It didn't help that somewhere in the back of her mind she wondered if she had somehow scared Cuttah off.
Hopefully she didn't.

Rippah sort of looked off to where Cuttah ran off for a little while before looking down, sighing.
"Well, I've left her to her own devices before *hurrp*, and she did to not worry so... I'm going to take it at face value.
I haven't the slightest clue where she could be going, though. And if she really was running off to avoid you she'd probably not have told us to not worry..."
Rippah sounded a bit unsure. He started walking off, still needing to collect berries.
"No pun *burrrp* intended, but keep an ear out for her, will you Crystal? At least for gunfire.
If... if that's okay with you? I mean, I do not want to impose."

Crystal gave a small shrug. "Sure. Why not? It's not like I'm not doing anything else." She answered, "Besides. With ears like these. It'd be hard for me not to hear something like gunfire."
She then looked up at Rippah with a smile. "Now get going. Your going to want to be back by time dinner is ready, don't you?"

Rippah offered a small chuckle at the last comment. "But of course! And... thank you. I really *beeellch* appreciate it."
And off he went to find the berries.
Some time passed before Cuttah returned in her usual Armor Champ form. However, she was a bit different. She was smiling... a very rare but, at least for Rippah, not unseen occurrence. But for the others, a cheery Cuttah would be new.

And her she was. All alone once again. If there was one thing that Crystal was beginning to really hate today, it was being all alone with only her thoughts to entertain herself. Thoughts that end up dwelling on very dark and depressing subjects she rather not think about.
Come on Crystal. Put on a brave face. Don't want the others to worry. She thought as she patted her cheeks. Trying to put a smile on her face for when Cuttah returned.
It was still some time before Cuttah had returned. When she did however, she had a smile on her face. Something that Crystal couldn't quite remember Cuttah ever doing since she met her.
"Yeah. Hopefully he'll be back by dinner." Crystal commented, "So then. If you don't mind me asking. What got you so happy?"
