It was very clinical ways of referring to all of her attacks, and yet very accurate ones as well. That didn't surprise Elliot. Alicia was quick-witted and to the point, and that often came with jargon to help get the point across. In this case it was the idea that Elliot didn't want to be anywhere near Alicia when she started busting out her power moves, especially with Mercurialdramon's versatility and his comparative weakness. He knew the woman was just watching out for him, and didn't want him to be splattered.
Nevertheless, that was no reason to discount Elliot just yet. And the boy grinned hugely as she mentioned evolving again. "Oh, trust me. I've got something in mind.
Order, be my spear and shield! Come on, Sandiramon!"
As Alicia neared the ground Elliot hopped off of her back, Digivice held high. A sphere of light surrounded him, quickly shifting form into a purple shell. The shell skidded as it hit the ground, energy bursting from its back and forming Sandiramon's large, powerful body. From the front side of the shell, Sandiramon's head popped out. The shell lowered onto the back of Sandiramon's head to become a hood, and with his body fully unfurled Elliot coiled up and looked down at Mercurialdramon. It was a form he had made heavy use of in his past few encounters, but now he was showing it off to Alicia for the first time. It was hard not to feel a little proud of being the bigger, tougher one for a change.
"This form can tunnel, too, so it should help a bunch with sneaking around. Not like this looks too complicated." After all, half of the fences were rusted and collapsed inward. The holes in them were more than big enough to sneak through. The walls were a bit sturdier, and covered in colorful designs from what Elliot desperately hoped was brown spraypaint. 'We Love The King Day Art Competition' was proudly plastered over the heavily stained walls, the winner being a picture of King Raremon chokeslamming a Machinedramon into the ground. Truly, art could make reality out of situations that would never happen.
Regardless, it wasn't the most powerful perimeter. The Numemon that was supposed to be guarding the barrack's entrance was sound asleep, his Monzaemon battle suit hung up on the nearby wall. Both the front door and the second story window were wide open, the former occasionally passed by ExTyrannomon patrols and the latter seeming to open up to a break room. While a quick check of the perimeter would reveal that the barrack's rear wall was busted wide open, it seemed to lead into little more than darkness. While it seemed the least defended, it also held the least reliable location.

"Of course! Everything down here's been thrown out. Just like we were," the Garbagemon said, heartily laughing at that last part. "You gotta be one heck of a scavenger to make it, or else this place'll chew you up and spit you out. But hey. We get food, we get shelter, we get neat stuff, and it's all stuff we've found on our own. It's a tough life down here, but we're all tough too. Even if those surface dwellers don't see it that way." Judging by the scars on Garbagemon's back as he turned around, it was clear he was tough in more ways than one.
At being asked what the Great Scavenging was, the Garbagemon let out an even heartier laugh. The splashy Numemon wheeled around and shushed him, as he was interrupting a beautiful rendition of The Back of a Rotten Lucky Charms Box, but the Garbagemon waved him off. "Wow! You kids really are new around here. But it figures you wouldn't hear a thing about us up there.
Y'see, all of this We Love The King Day stuff is about the history of our home. Like how this Gekkomon concert's a sign of our beautiful team-up with the Pond Skum, after King Raremon talked our way out of the Great War of the Sewer Pipe. And after that we've got the Great Scavenging, the one day of the year where we all get to explore the Great Heap and take its treasures. There's a lot of littler heaps on the city limits that some of the explorers dive into, but the Great Heap's our king's, and its by his grace we get to share in his bounty. And man, you kids wouldn't believe the treasures that fall down here! I grabbed myself a toaster just a few days back, and that thing's still been churning out slime pie without a problem. If we don't get our mitts on some luxuries at the Scavenging, we gotta barter them out of somebody else."
As Garbagemon droned on, the RedOtamamon brothers noticed Kuu popping down Maia's shirt. They let out startled shrieks as they made a run for it, shouting "She's got a chest snake! Run for it!" One particularly greedy one tried to cling to all the lint he could, but most abandoned their hauls at Isaac and Maia's feet.
"Like them RedOtamamon boys. They make lint sculptures and scalp 'em away for whatever they can get in return. Hope they weren't giving you too much trouble.
Anyway, the concert's just about done. They always finish off with our national anthem." Was that what that strange gargling sound, mixed with the aggressive farting of trumpets, was? "Brings a tear to my eye each time. Once it's done, the King's gonna come down to address us, and then the Great Scavenging begins. It's a free-for-all, so I'd do everything I could to prepare before it was showtime. Some Skum can get a little bit aggressive when push comes to shove. Got any more questions for me, before this gets started?"
The National Anthem was starting to wind down, and already some Skum were tilting their heads up to watch the sky. There wouldn't be much time left to prepare at this rate!
