"Bye! I'll see you soon!" Elliot said, waving as he walked off. After a quick game he'd be right back with her to talk more, but for now it was every man for themselves. As he left the rest of the group he looked around, trying to plan the best possible hiding spot. There were the usual options, like hiding in the bushes or behind the corners of buildings, but those all seemed a little bit too easy. They'd be the first places Aurie would look. Judging by her already mentioning hiding in trees, those were likely obvious targets as well. Even if they weren't, he couldn't really climb them on his own anyway. By the time he even made it up the first branch, his slow climbing speed would make his ascent very obvious. Then there were the whatever it takes to win options. Those were places like hiding in an empty garbage can, or under their mom's parked car. Isaac always exploited those when they played as kids, but Elliot liked to stay away from dangerous and gross places like those.
Briefly, the idea to cheat popped in his head. She'd be looking for Elliot, right? Why would she ever suspect Veemon? However, upon remembering that a Digimon sighting would cause quite a bit of panic and confusion he dropped the idea. It wouldn't be worth risking such a big, important secret just to make winning a game of hide and seek easier. He'd have to think of a better plan, not one that would likely get him sold over for experimentation.
Finally, an idea came to mind. Elliot moved out until he found a calm, grassy area with two sets of bushes. He tucked himself within the leftmost bush, then with utmost care rolled his walking stick over to the bushes on the other side. They'd be so busy checking his false tell that they'd never find him! Probably.

Aurora was alone from where the hide and seek started. ' Alright. It's time to get started. First one is Charlotte.' said and stretched her legs. Aurora and her siblings had played the last 2 years in this park thousands of times hide and seek. But being younger they didn't notice easily they had patterns, also her gaming experience helped determined those things. It wasn't that much of an super power per say. She just wrote down things she notices around them.
Charlotte usually hides behind a tree with smaller branches in order to watch the clouds, or near the Mural to watch the paintings. If there were people around that painted something she usually 'stalked' behind them in order to spy on their activity. She was really obsessed with it. She loves painting and watching others people art. Aurora started looking around for any painters in the area. She manages to discover one from afar and starts walking towards him. She finally closes in on the painter and starts looking around. After a while she notices three trees with small branches but the best view of the clouds and the art was from the middle one. Oh well, but its not fun winning all the time. I should bring down my way of thinking to their level. Or else it won't be as fun for them thinks to herself. Aurora at that point heads towards Charlotte's location. She didn't start from her suspicion though. She went towards the very left side and started working her way to her supposed location. Nearing the tree Aurie thought Charlotte was in was caught by a surprise. She was right but Charlotte waiting for that moment gets out of the back of the tree and runs towards the starting point. In order to make it fun Aurora matches her speed, even though she could go a bit faster, since her legs are longer than Charlotte's. They both reach the point at the same time but Charlotte gets to the safe area first. 'Safe.... You... let ... me win.... Not... fair....sis.' says an out of breath Charlotte to her sister. Aurie laughs nervously, also out of breath... ' Nah... You won ... Fair and square sis... Don't think I am some genius.' says as she winks at her. 'Ok time to look for mister George. You coming with me. You are safe, not to worry' smiles towards her. Charlotte nods and starts following her.

It seemed like Elliot hadn't even been scouted out yet. He neither saw nor heard any indication of Aurie's presence. It was almost a little bit boring waiting. What was the boy to do, besides start checking on his phone? He turned down the brightness and the volume to make sure and began checking to see if he had missed anything. Judging by the fact that he had texts from Isaac, to at least a small degree he must have. Seeing nothing better to do at the moment, he started texting back while waiting for any sign of Aurie's appearance.
Having fun?
Yeah. Playing hide and seek right now. I think I'm winning.
Bet it'd be a different story if I was there.
Well, duh. You always kicked my butt at this. I was better at laser tag, though.
Yeah right. We almost always tied until sudden death.
And what happened after sudden death?
Yep. Thought so.
Is everyone being nice to you?
Oh yeah! Definitely! Aurie's brother is a handful, but her sister's really sweet.
They making sure to include you in everything?
Of course! You don't need to worry about that. Why would they ask me to stay otherwise?
Good point. Still, hope you keep having a great time over there.
Of course! I'll catch you later, bro!

As Aurora heads towards the direction Elliot thinks run off to. She walks a couple of meters and starts to mentally figure out where would he hide. Well with his cane he wont be able to climb fast enough, and he isn't that fast to run to the edge of the hide and seek perimeter. Well lets look around here. After 5 minutes of searching she notices a walking stick in a bush. It was kind of standing out to be honest. But isn't he more clever than that... I don't know though. Oh well lets not overthink it. Its better to just have fun and not aim to win, thinks to herself as she walks towards the bush she saw the stick.
Charlotte was always near her and trying not to say anything. She started worrying if Elliot with his bad leg becomes 'It' he won't be able to race anyone to the safe spot making him permanent 'it'... She doesn't want that to happen. But making it too obvious that she is helping him would look rude and more as an act of pity than a concern of fairness to the game.
George on the other hand was relaxing on top of a tree. He was being annoyed that he couldn't pull pranks from now but being able later would be good and exciting. It's not like his pranks were hideous. Making people fall on their face looks funny on the internet. Everybody seems to thinks so since they get millions of view. Also pranks seem to make people laugh. It always made sense to him. Obviously not to his mother and step dad. They found the wrong and disturbing. But they let his bigger sister get away with it. Changing their ringtones to funny animal noises is ok, but throwing a cake on their face or putting flour on the hair dryer is bad taste and offensive. He never did get it. But Aurora and Alicia seem to get him. Kind of. They say George needs to make them more funny and try to guide him through them and he loves them for it. That's why he tries to be so hyperactive around her. She really looked up to her. He asked her once what was her realistic dream and she answered to make everyone around me happy and smile. He loved that attitude about her. As he contemplated those things he waited to be discover and continued thinking of the pranks he is going to pull the third round.

Elliot peered through the leaves, noticing Aurie heading over. Immediately he tried to freeze like a statue, not letting a single bit of movement through. If the leaves rustled while she was checking the other bush, he'd be found out immediately. He didn't have anything he could throw out as a distraction, either. Maybe in a last ditch attempt he could use his phone? No, that would be far too easy to trace back to his position. At this point he had hidden, they were seeking, and he could only hope that his little misdirection would pay off.
It was times like this, he wished he was better at moving without his walking stick. He could do short distances at a slow pace, and cover quite a bit of ground if he had something to grab onto, but in an open area like this it would be curtains for him. He would need to wait for Aurie to leave first so that he could reclaim his stick if he wanted any hope of making it back to the safe zone unnoticed. Until then, it was time to play the waiting game.
Or, at least, it would have been if not for getting another text. He tried to smother the sound with his hand, but the phone's vibration wasn't the most subtle. Elliot's breath caught as he waited to see if Aurie would notice the humming sound or if she would discount it as nothing. Would this be how it all came to an end? Defeated by a cell phone?

As Aurora was cheking the bush with the weird looking walking stick. It looked like Elliots. It must have been his. And as she peered inside the bush she found the walking stick, the sound from a cell-phone and the vibrations were heard. Oh dammit. I'll pretend I didn't notice. Its not fun winning from accidents, thinks to herself and continues to search the bush.
At the same time Charlotte hears the sound of Elliot's phone. Panicked that he would be discovered she fakes a sneeze to cover the sound. She couldn't think of anything else. Aurie turns towards her ' Bless you. You ok?' says with a concern, but a smile on her face understanding she is covering Elliot's hiding spot. 'Yeah... Just dust i think... and pollen... you kow... I think I heard some sounds from over there' pointing a tree 10 meters away from Elliot's position. ' You sure? Why are you helping me all of a sudden? You trying to distract me?' says as she smiles and giggles knowing this is her plan. Charlotte blushes and kicks some dirt in front of her repeatidly ' Whatever. I said I think. If you want, check it out. Not my problem...' as she twirls left and right. 'Touche. Lets go check it out, shall we?' says Aurora and leaves the walking stick down.
As Aurora leaves and goes to check the tree Charlotte mentioned, she takes the walking stick and puts it near the bush Elliot was in, or his phone was heard of. ' Quick. You better make a run for it. But you better make her notice you or it won't count. Make sure you will win the race, though. Take a good head start.' whispers to the bush with a warm smile on her face, eyes half-closed and her cheeks red as a tomato. 'Go go!'

Elliot jumped slightly as he heard his walking stick clatter down next to him. Grabbing onto it was like pure instinct to him, the boy's hand almost feeling naked when he didn't have the stick with him. However, he also knew that it meant he was found. If he was found, he was caught. He prepared to leave the bush with his hands in the air, only to notice that it wasn't Aurie addressing him. It was Charlotte. He listened to her instructions, wondering if it was an elaborate setup to prank him after a loss. However, her tone seemed genuine, and the advice contained within was nothing but helpful. As comprehension slowly dawned, a grin broke out on his face.
He emerged from the bush and gave Charlotte a friendly hug, beaming all the while. "Thanks, Charlotte!" he said happily as he started hobbling off, moving slowly and subtly at first to avoid alerting Aurie to his position. Once he was at least a few paces away, he turned to where Aurie was and called out loudly to make his presence known. "Hey, missed me!" he said, tone playful as he immediately made a break for the starting area. He was slower, and she was both older and taller, and he was limited in pace by a walking stick. Only his head start could possibly safe him, and he pumped his legs as quickly as possible to ensure that he'd be able to make the most of it. Would he be able to make it, or would he end up getting taken down right at the finish line?

The hug was something so strange and unexpected. Charlotte wanted to be eaten and dissappear from the face off the earth from embarassment. Her cheeks became flashy red, her eyes widened, her heart raced. But she didn't felt afraid. She felt happy. Beyond happy. She was soaring in the wide sky as she stood there with a stupid smile on her face, not realizing what was about to happen.
As soos as Aurora heard Elliot's voice she sprung into action. She started running and slowed down as soon as she catch up to elliot. She made her breath mimic exhaustion in order to make it seem that she was getting tired. They raced until Elliot barely took the lead again. Seeing the match you would say it was a close one. They were taking the lead for a little while and either elliot run faster than Aurie or Aurie striding cathing up to his speed.
Aurora trips 10 meters before the safe zone and sees Elliot passing the finish line. 'Buscuit Nuggets! Oh well... That was a good race Elliot. You gave me a run..... for my money. Hey, where is Charlotte?' says as she looks around and can't find her.. ' Charlotte!' shouts suddenly forgetting to act that she was of out of breath.

"Thanks! I didn't know I had it in me. Wait, are you okay?" It wasn't until reaching the finish line that Elliot noticed that Aurie had tripped over. The boy quickly scrambled back over to his friend, holding out his hand to try and help her up, but judging by how she quickly hopped back onto her feet and started looking around she didn't even need his help. Maybe a more aware person like Isaac would realize how blatantly Aurie had let him win, but Elliot was far more concerned with the reason why she was so nervous. Did she get more hurt than she thought or something? Or was she having a bit of unexpected trouble with the game? It wasn't until he heard Aurie's question that he realized what was going on.
"Wait, she was right where I was hiding a second ago," Elliot mumbled, concern in his voice. "Where could she possibly be now? Charlotte? Charlotte, where are you?" Elliot's resolve was unbreakable, especially when someone he cared about could have been in trouble. The boy began hobbling off at surprisingly fast speed, looking around and calling out for Charlotte's name. His first destination was his former hiding spot. With how he had just seen her over there a minute ago, he knew there was no way that she could have gone far. Maybe she was just hiding again to prank the two? Or maybe she just wandered off to get some water, or something like that. Yeah, that was it. She'd be fine, and once Elliot got to the bushes he'd see her again for sure!

Oh, such cruel children. Running off and abandoning their sister like that. How they poked and prodded, taunted and teased, while she withered so shyly in the back of the line. She was such a serious one, not partaking in any of their fun and games. It was no wonder, when she was such an outcast to them. A stranger in her own home. Oh, how much pity burned in his heart for the girl. They were both outcasts, were they not? Shouldn't outcasts, such Lost Ones, stand together? As they ran about and played so merrily, the Petermon's mind snapped into action.
He waited until the currently formed trio went their separate ways, the girl still stunned in an emotional bliss. Perhaps, in her heightened state of joy, she would have noticed the music wafting off of Petermon's flute. Perhaps she would have decided to investigate, checking back into the bush that mere seconds ago had been so empty. Perhaps with a whiff of the fairy dust in the air she'd be far more favorable to his suggestion to come along with her. Then she'd be free.
And perhaps when the girl's sister and their new friend came to look, they would see only a rift, small and crackling. And they would know that their dearly departed has been lead astray to the Digital World, the ultimate Neverland.

Charlotte overcome with joy, forgot the one and only rule she has to follow with her bigger sister. STAY CLOSE. Charlotte didn't even notice the race that was going on between Aurie and Elliot. Her heart hasn't stopped racing from the hug Elliot gave to her. And then she heard it. A sweet sound of a flute. A magical sound. It soothed her soul. Is it coming from the same bush Elliot was previously hiding? Could it be he left something there? But the sound was so endearing she couldn't help herself and tried to peak. At the same time she peaked, a shadow moved over her. A sparkling dust was sprinkled on her. She inhaled it without noticing anything weird. But then, she felt it. Her mind going blank, her shoulders heavy, her eyes showed no expression. She seemed more hypnotized than paralyzed. Whispers in her ear from a strange creature were spoken. Charlotte couldn't move on her own. Couldn't say anything. Couldn't talk, scream. Nothing. All she did was follow the strange pirate fairy-looking creature promising her something unbelievable. A small crack and intense light made Hypnotized Charlotte to close her eyes. Her next look would be out of this world she knew as home. Her NEW home. A Digi-Neverland.
As Elliot and Aurie run towards the Elliot's previous hiding place. Aurie inspects it as she continues to look worried. Sure George is a blockhead and pranking was going to make him annoying to find but Charlotte would never pull something like that. But even George had a code word. Imagining the worst she decides to postpone the hide and seek game. She makes a mega phone with her hand and shouts 'George of the Jungle!'. A few seconds later a George came running. Unware with what is happenning. ' Sup Sis? Why we canceling the game? Something up? Where is Charlotte?' Realizing she might be missing his expression change from calm to furious. ' Where is she?!! Charlotte!!!!!'
Aurora already trying to keep herself calm she opens her bag and whispers to Moonmon. 'You said you can find anyone right? You need to tell me Charlotte is unharmed.' Moonmon starts snifing the air. ' Something not of this world was here. Something from my world.' Moonmon says with a serious face. At that moment they find a weird crack in the bush. 'Elliot, what is this? Is that what I think it is?' says as she tries to comprehend what exactly is going on.

Elliot looked at the small rift and seethed. It was to the point where his shoulders were visibly trembling from fear and from anger. This was all his fault, wasn't it? He was supposed to watch Charlotte. He was supposed to keep her happy, and help her if she needed anything. Instead she got kidnapped, and it was all his damn fault. For a while he didn't speak, simply looking at the rift in sheer disbelief. Then he turned back to Aurora and George, the look on his face distressingly blank.
"Please, both of you. Leave. This is a really dangerous situation, and I don't want any of you getting hurt." Compared to how cheerful and light Elliot's voice usually was, it was almost distressing the tone he was taking now. Despite being the same age as George and Charlotte, and usually sounding the part, the weariness of five extra years started weighing down on his voice. It had an uncharacteristic tremble to it considering Elliot's earlier confidence, and it was clear he was fighting hard to avoid just crying on the spot from his worry.
He didn't wait for Aurora and Georgie to answer him. The longer he spent trying to negotiate, the further away Charlotte could have been taken. He clutched his Digivice tightly in his pocket as he charged headlong into the rift, his body seeming to fade into light as he went through the portal. With him gone, it would just be Aurora and George left. Would they even think of following Elliot's request? Most likely not. There was still a big, important plot to wrap up here!

Aurora was suddenly afraid of the worst from Elliot's change in tune. But she understood he was just being serious. He probably thinks this is somehow his fault, even though it's clearly Aurie's. Seeing the determination in his eyes, she tried to stop him but George was going to dive in head first when he understood that the rift would lead them to his twin sister. ' Dude! Catch him before he does anything stupid! ' shouts Moonmon while George tried to dive in head on to the small rift. Aurie snaps into action and hugs him in order to stop him. 'Wow! Wow wow! Relax. We are going to save her. Diving head in to something you don't understand won't help you. We need to proceed fast and careful so we need to be extra cautious. You hear that Elliot?' says as she tries to soothe her brother and their already so distressed new friend. ' Aurie, he is going in without a Digimon. Normal humans can't fight us. We may seem small and defenseless but we are powerful beyond your human capabilities. He is going to get himself killed!' says as Moonmon.
'Elliot wait! Your partner is not here where are you going? Elliot!. Dammit!' shouts as a vain attempt to calm him down. Great now she can't assign Elliot to watch her little brother, as she rescues her sister. ' Come on George. I guess you are coming with me. This is Moonmon. She is a friend and she is going to help.' says as Moonmon gets released from her prison bag and start hoping on the ground. 'Come on, we need to move. No time to lose explaining stuff you can explain in the way. That other dunderhead is going to get himself killed. GO you idiot!' screams as George can't seem to explain what's going on at all. Weird creatures, kidnappings, what's everyone talking about. To him everyone seems paranoid and delusional as his little sister is getting away further and further from the park by some molester. But then he saw it. A bouncing exclamation point, a blue one at that was right in front of him. It popped out of the bag. Was that there before, would be anyone's first question. In a normal situation... Wait what's normal about an exclamation point being alive. ' You can track her blue thing? ' says being cold and harsh towards the unknown guest. ' Yeah I can. Continuing this attitude however will result in I won't. Watch your tongue servant.' says Moonmon not realizing the rage building inside George. ' Track her and I will serve you for a month.' says George.
'Alright! Time to go after Elliot. We need to find Elliot, keep him protected, since his partner isn't here. Find the kidnapper and save Charlotte. Nothing too hard. George grab my hand.' says Aurie holding her Digivice in the other hand, as the two of them along with Moonmon jump into the rift. A bright light makes them close their eyes. The new world there about to see will never be forgotten. Not for a long time. But where in this magical world they will end up.
