Kiyoshi grins at the two and offers a big thumbs up to both of them, "Well, that's good to hear! Cuz I might need help eating some ice cream at the weekend," Well. That's fair. And serious business to boot! A kid willing to share ice cream? Almost unheard of. The two Kyupimon finally let go of Yoshi's shoulders and start to slowly flap their wings, gliding alongside the group as they continue their trek!
He tries to think of something to say to further the conversation, but. "So, um. What're you guys doing out here? I mean. It doesn't exactly look like Disney World!" Not that he'd know, of course. He's had the distinct feeling that he's being watched since he arrived, but that could just be Elliot and Isaac! Besides, even if it is the natives watching them from hiding, he has no reason to think they're hostile. They could just be curious about a human! Especially one who literally fell out of the sky. "So, um. How old're you guys, anyway?" They'd both looked older. Erk. "And how old were you when you got your...things. Digivices,"

How was this kid so nice? Nobody just offered to share their ice cream like that! This was truly somebody who needed to be looked out for. He was far too adorable to get hurt. "Heh, be careful what you offer," Isaac said, smirking a little. "Elliot eats like he's starving. I don't even know how he does it. He's just unstoppable." The boy blushed a little in embarrassment about his brother calling him out like that. It wasn't his fault he was hungry! Right?
"Isaac and I were training with a friend," Elliot answered as Kiyoshi brought up his next question. "We have to be big and strong if we want to keep our friends safe, after all. It's our job as heroes!" The part where they got lost and turned around trying to find their way out of the Dark Area went conveniently unmentioned. So did their original reason for going there, of trying to track down a threat to them that was lurking in the far recesses of the Digital World. It sure was convenient that they bumped into Kiyoshi on the last day of checking, right? If he had appeared just a day later, he could have been lost here all alone.
"We got these just a month or so ago," Isaac explained. Until Kiyoshi's question, it didn't even really register to the boys that they could have been owning these for years. Would this be the rest of their lives now, or would the Digivices just go dim at some point? How were they going to juggle this duty when they were adults with jobs? Or spouses? Or arthritis? "I'm 15, and Elliot's 13. How about you?"

"Oh, cool, you guys are heroes! Superheroes if you can transform and stuff!" Yoshi continues to smile like the continued existence of the universe depends on it. "That explains why I like you so much then. I always wanted to be a hero too. Maybe I can be, when I grow up a little bit!" A patient-ish child. Will wonders never cease?
Fifteen and thirteen. Yeah. Quite...a lot older than him. One is almost as old as his brother (as if such a thing is possible. Shichiro's the oldest person on the planet, dontcha know). "Nine! I got my Digivice a couple'a days ago with an egg!" Well, at least that explains where his two little partners came from.
As soon as Yoshi's Digivice had arrived, he'd been ecstatic. He could be like his big brother! And unlike the Sunderland boys, he fully expected to be with his partner Digimon and going on adventures for the rest of his life, even if this was all new to him!
Poor, foolish boy.
