"Come on Dust it's to hot here." The mercenary complained as she followed Dust towards a large desert area, she hadn't complained on the way here but now she was just yelling at him to stop going. "Come on Luna it's not that bad, much better then the ice place." Dust reminded her, she hadn't complained there nor let Dust continue complaining so she really had no room to argue, she still would though Dust knew the girl well. "And anyway wasn't it you who said we should look everywhere, even places we might not want to go?" Dust reminded again getting a sigh from the Lunamon, she had lost this argument. "Well, uhh. ........Darn it." Luna looked away knowing full well she had lost this argument fully, anything she said would most likely just dig her a bit deeper into the hole she made. "Good, wouldn't want this argument to get, heated." Luna let out a small laugh at the stupid pun but easily went back to looking sad.
"Got you, now quite whining or I'll use the chip again." Dust said taking out the small chip he could use to download her to and keep her quiet. "You wouldn't." Dust smiled before putting it back to the tape around the back of his pendent, but he did just laugh a bit. "Don't think you'd want to find out." He quickly warned, but they both knew he didn't have the guts to do something like that to her. They both quit talking and started walking looking around the vast desert hoping to find some sign of what they were looking for.

Sparmon bounded happily along the desert, excited that she and her brother were finally exploring the area here. Coonaimon took a more serious approach and came up with ways for the two long furred digimon to keep cool in the heat. Water of course was very scarce in this part of the digital world. "The sand seems to go on forever with nothing here anywhere! It's like being stranded in the ocean, no land in sight! This is a real adventure, not some silly 'Oh lets go find this village, lets stop by here.' Nope! We'll have to travel and survive using our wits and courage to get by." The red-furred Sparmon chattered eagerly along even if her conversations remained one-sided. Coonaimon practice tuning her out, and he was becoming rather adept at in. "Hey I see something!" Sparmon announced, getting Coonaimon's attention finally. 'What is it? A village? A cactus, a digimon? Don't just say 'something'. " Coonaimon spoke up at last. "I don't know what it is." "I don't see anything, maybe it's a mirage?" "I'm going to go check it out!" "huh? Wait!" The two began running down a large slope with Sparmon leading and Coonaimon following. At last the figures came into view, two digimon traveling together. "Hold it!" Coonaimon grabbed his sister and pulled her back. "We need to be careful, we don't know those two, they could be dangerous. But we don't want to outright attack them either, just stay behind me and we'll approach slowly. Got it?" Sparmon rolled her eyes but consented regardless. What did he think she was about to do? Tackle them?

"Now that I think about it why would anyone I know be here?" Dust gave it some more thought and strangely it didn't seem like a knight would be here, much less a human girl. "Eh covering all bases I suppose." Dust was mostly talking to himself while Luna looked around the area making sure no one was going to get the drop on them, which was harder then she thought she just kept seeing more sand, at first she thought she saw something coming down a slope towards them but she just saw sand, she wasn't looking hard enough, plus she thought it looked small anyway, to her logic small equaled weaker, sound logic considering what she had fought before.
"Oi Dust do you think we'll get into a fight, I kinda want to test out my Ultimate form." Dust merely looked at Luna shaking his head. "That's not something you should be hoping for anyway. And no the chances of that are slim." Dust said before continuing down his path, he was only slightly ignoring the things around him. Luna however kept checking around] them looking for anything that looked interesting, however she forgot to check behind them.

Coonaimon wasn't sure what to do next. But he told Sparmon he'd handle this carefully so he had to do something. Right now though he crept down low and followed the two strangers from a safe distance. This way if they were noticed they might have time to flee if the digimon attacked them. They were talking... But he couldn't make out any of the words. Maybe if he got closer he could figure out what kind of digimon they were? "This is dumb." Sparmon whispered. She was still following him, she just wanted him to know of her distaste of this route. "Shh! We don't want to get spotted just yet." "Maybe if they turn around they'll think you're a short cactus." Sparmon mused. Coonaimon glared at her in response. "Lets just go say hi" "Would you quit it already?" Sparmon huffed but obeyed. Let him try it his way, besides if they hadn't noticed them yet how dangerous could they be? Gathering some courage, Coonaimon decided to make contact. The two looked to be the same level as them, but then again looks can be deceiving. They could be mega-level and just be traveling in rookie-form. "um... Excuse me?" Okay, so maybe he didn't have that much courage. His voice spoke out softly, just a bit more than a whisper. Coonaimon sat as tall as he could, but felt ready to flee. Still, he stayed put and waited to see if either of the two would take notice. Sparmon wasn't helping matters as she tried to hold back laughter. Her brother was so worried about being seen before he was ready and now he was going to make this kind of entrance? The two digimon might not have even heard him. Still he wanted to handle this, why should she step in?

"Hey Dust how are we supposed to get back to town?" Luna had already forgot what route they had gone. "Luna we have only been going straight, we just walk back the way we came." Honestly she couldn't find a route to save her life. Dust was about to turn around again until he heard something, sounded a bit quiet so he didn't fully hear it but it was enough to make the Impmon turn around. "Huh, oh hello." Dust said giving a small short wave, while Luna hadn't caught what the Digimon said she did notice Dust turn around and did so herself. "Oh desert dweller, Hello nice to meet you." Luna greeted the Digimon, did he live in the desert? Well best to hear what he has to say before jumping to a conclusion like that.
Dust glanced upward looking at the one farther back behind the newcomer, he only looked for a moment before turning his attention back to the closer one assuming they were together, why he assumed this was anyone's guess. Luna just plain didn't notice. "Did ya want something, oh or did you need help with something, Luna is glad to help either way." The Lunamon said once again offering their assistance before knowing exactly who she was talking to, that happened a lot.

"See? They're not scary." Sparmon snipped at her brother. Coonaimon however ignored her in favor of making a proper greeting. "My name's Coonaimon, my sister and I have been traveling together for sometime and while she may not mind camping out in the sand, I think I'd prefer to find the village. Do you by any-chance know where it is? Or... Perhaps it would be alright if we were to accompany you for a while?" Seeing how the two didn't attack, not to mention one of them even offered to help them, Coonaimon was able to actually voice his request. "Which is it? Do we want to travel with them or find a village? You're very confusing sometimes." Sparmon complained, decided to get in closer. These two really didn't seem dangerous to her, so why keep being so cautious? Coonaimon shushed his sister again, trying to keep control of the conversation. Sparmon ignored him. "Hello, it's nice to meet you Luna. My name's Sparmon."

"Yeah we ain't scary, except Dust when he goes all out, that is really scary." "And the reason you keep telling people that I will never know. *Sigh* anyway like she said my name's Dust and yes I know the way towards a town. It's called Rustport. I don't mind if you come along, I was planning on stopping by after I finished what I set out to do." Dust quickly answered all the questions as they were given, and considering his track record with random people following him he really stopped minding it when others came around him.
"Hello, though judging by that you aren't desert dwellers, sorry about that." Luna quickly apologized for jumping to some conclusion. "Also please disregard what I said, Dust only looks scary he's as nice as could be." Maybe telling two digimon they just met that one of their companions was scary when pissed wasn't the best way to make friends.

"That's alright, we don't really have any place we stay. Though I guess if we had to choose, we'd be forest dwellers. I don't think he looks very scary... I think Coonaimon's just a scaredy-cat sometimes." Sparmon decided she liked Luna, Dust seemed nice too but it was probably a bit early to say. Coonaimon huffed at his sister's accusation. Being cautions and being afraid are two different things, but he figured he should start an argument in front of two possibly new friends. "We'll try to help or at the very least stay out of the way. What was it you came here to do if you don't mind me asking?" "Hey you agreed to let us stay around! I guess you're stuck with us until we get back to town now." "Sparmon! I just-" The green furred digimon scowled but tried to get back to being calm. He'd just finished saying they wouldn't be a bother! Of course she'd act like that, being overly-friendly with those she just met. Maybe this was for the best, if they ended up traveling for a while it was better to know each others tenancies from the start, At least the things in plain view, Coonaimon wasn't about to share everything with them of course, but let Sparmon do what she felt like. Still he wondered about Dust, Luna had said some things about him and there might be some truth in it. Maybe he should be careful around them still, no matter how friendly they acted now.

"The forest? I'd be a mountain dweller, I like high places." Luna said not exactly sure why she did, eh it was just because she figured she should say what she was going to be since she did. "I'm looking for a friend of mine, I don't know where he is exactly but best to cover any area, you'd know him when you see him he's a Alphamon." Dust quickly told them, he didn't mind telling people anymore since it made it just that much easier to find, plus it helped him find them easier if the others managed to see the Digimon, or at least a Alphamon.
"Stuck with you two huh, eh happens all the time. You'd be surprised how many random digimon me and Luna end up running into." It surprised Dust also, though they also got in a lot of fights while doing that also, eh didn't matter. Dust decided to wait for any more questions or anything before he started walking again.

"Alphamon? I don't know anything that could help you with, but I'll keep an eye out for you just in case." There certainly aren't too many Alphamon's around. Coonaimon wondered how long Dust has been searching, but figured it might be a little rude to ask. It was nice these two had taken so well to them, but it would be better not to upset them too much. "Have you two been traveling together long? How did you meet? I'm stuck with Coonaimon because he's my brother, but it's nice to travel with others for a while too." Sparmon asked easily, happy to chat with new friends. "Maybe we should get going..." Coonaimon suggested quietly. "You should speak up if you have something to say!" His sister scolded.

"Me and Dust have been traveling around for a while, originally we met because I was a mercenary who was supposed to protect Dust, but it blossomed into something far more then that." Luna didn't clarify what she meant by that but Dust knew fully well what she meant by it. "Uhh, Y-yeah what she said." To think that girlfriend thing was all Maia's fault and it became something this big, and sadly he couldn't deny it anymore. "Yeah you can speak your mind, I don't mind I was thinking the same." Did he have to be quiet? Not really.
"We can walk and talk if you want, isn't that hard." Dust said turning around, he'd start walking if the others agreed with him, if not he'd just turn back around and keep talking, either way he was fine, not like the Alphamon was going anywhere, if he was here in the first place.

With a bit of embarrassment, Coonaimon nodded his head and quickly followed behind. He wasn't quite sure what to say now, so he decided it was better if her stayed quiet for the time being. Less he do something else making him seem more like a silly child. Sparmon tried to figure out what Luna meant by 'something far more', but couldn't quite connect the dots. Regardless Luna and Dust seemed happy about it so that's all that matters. Sparmon trotted along, thinking up of more things to talk about with her new friends, eager to know more about them. "You started out having to protect him? Are there lots of bad guys after you two?" "Hey Dust What's your friend Alphamon like? Do you think he's somewhere in this very desert?" "You said you're used to people following you... I guess you're a very likable digimon!" Sparmon was used to filling long silences, she enjoyed letting her thoughts wonder like this. Coonaimon let himself relax a bit, everything was the same as it's always been and with all these random questions, he'll have some time to think things over before attention was back on himself. He might even get to learn a bit about the two digimon in his company if he just listened instead of worried about making a good impression. Yes, things will probably be fine like this.

Dust was sure Coonaimon would of tried to say something but all the Impmon got from him was a nod, well it wasn't like Dust was the type to push people into talking. However then the questions kept coming up and Luna was more then ready to answer them but they were directed at Dust to her displeasure, at least most of them were. "Nah I said protect but honestly we never really get into trouble, it's more as a just in case thing you know?" It was smart to be in a group after all, and not many tried to mess with two Ultimate level Digimon, least they wouldn't if Dust and Luna ever cared to walk around in that state. "I can't say for certain on either of those, it's the reason I'm looking in the first place. All I know is me and him knew each other." Dust said deciding lying would just dig him in a hole if they did find him. "Likable huh? I'd say not really but pretty sure others would say I'm wrong." Like Luna for example, and Maia and Marshal, Gallatin would most likely not like Dust but still three out of four.
"Oh, I guess we should of said something before, Dust actually has amnesia, he can barely remember anything from before." Luna said hearing what Dust said about the Alphamon she felt it was best to clarify what they meant by it. "Yeah what she said was true, I can remember bits and pieces of everything but nothing aside from the Alphamon is a whole. It's why I'm looking in the first place." Though that could also mean the Alphamon wasn't a friend, best to answer that now. "But I'm sure he's a friend, I know at least that much." Fighting a Alphamon wasn't something Dust wanted to do, he could barely handle a Omnimon, or could barely run away from one.

"Amnesia?" the two said in unison, though Coonaimon turned away embarrassed once more. Hopefully this would be the last time. He was tired of making a fool of himself, even if he was the only one who thought so. "I think I get it, I hope you find him." Sparmon truly hoped they did, it must be horrible not knowing much about who you are, then missing one of the only friends you do remember. Coonaimon however wondered if Dust's search was just vain misguided hope. Some form of a wild goose chase. Of course he couldn't say that out loud, but he figured the two already knew the possibility of that anyway. "So if he isn't here, where do you think you two will go next?" Sparmon asked, she decided she would slow down her questions, or at least try too. They may be walking for a while so there was plenty of time later.

Dust gave a small nod at the two of them as the spoke in unison, it was kinda funny because Dust recalled a pair of twins from before that did that, only neither one did the same thing Coonaimon did, they just said jinx when they did that. "Thank you, I hope the same." Dust knew that this could all be for nothing but he wanted, no he needed to make sure. It was some strange feeling he had, he needed to know something, anything just to get him to stop thinking about it, Luna knew what Dust was feeling which is why she never brought up the fact that their entire journey could be for nothing.
"There are two places I can think of going, three but the last one I really can't get to without some assistance." Dust forgot to mention where these places were but Luna got that for him. "We've heard about a Island in the sky, When me and Dust turn Ultimate we can fly so that's no problem, there's also a city in a area called the giants we're going to go to, sadly we can't exactly explore the ocean well enough without some sort of transport that isn't flying." Luna quickly explained, Dust didn't like that she wanted to explain everything they were doing but hey they had no enemies, might as well trust someone. "Oh I forgot to ask, what are you two doing here?" They said they were looking for a village but that doesn't explain why they came in the first place.
