Luna and Dust sure knew a lot of people, and they went to the human world not just once but twice! Well at least Dust had anyway, why'd he wake up there anyway? Well Dust didn't know so there wasn't any point asking. "I hear a lot of nice things about the human world, but we haven't gone there ourselves yet. I think we're planning on getting more supplies before visiting, is that right Coonaimon?" Sparmon was eager to share, her brother wanted to invest in getting one or both of them holosuits, but she thought that was kind of silly. Why would you want to hide who you really were? "Yeah, that's right. Things are a lot different in the human world and it's better to know what to expect," her brother replied with a nod. "We have a couple of friends we'd like to visit there sometime. We'll probably go there sometime soon, you never know," She tried to end her sentence ominously. "Hey there should be a way for digimon to contact each other, that way people won't have to worry about getting lost so much. But then if that happened we wouldn't accidentally stumble upon as many things, and all the best things are found after making mistakes." Everyone gets lost so often, Dust and Luna were searching for Alphamon and someone else too, Hackmon wanted to find his sister, even she had gotten lost away from Coonaimon before. The world was such a big place, it was easy to loose touch with someone and having to go on a quest to find them again. But even those were pretty fun. "So Hackmon, what brought you and your sister to the desert?" Coonaimon tried being polite. He was a little concerned he was coming off as insensitive with a few of his earlier statements. He was a nice person and he's going to act like it towards the others if it killed him! Not that it would of course, unless he did something wrong and insulted someone too much and- wait why is he thinking about this? Maybe he did care too much about what others thought of him...

With that being said Luna remembered something about the human world. ""Well if you do plan on going I'd reccomend getting something called a Holo-suit from Terminus, the humans there, uhh how should I say this. Don't react well when faced with Digimon, not a lot even know we exist." Luna explained remembering when she wandered off, in her champion form somewhere, yeah she is quite sure she gave Dust a heart attack with that one, if he could have one that is being digital and all. With that statement about getting lost Luna thought about it for a moment. "Yeah that would be a lot safer to find a way to contact one another, but I do enjoy leaving things up to chance." It was just random chance that she was here now with Dust Hackmon, Sparmon and Coonaimon, well not so random with Dust but she was glad she was still here with him.
Hackmon looked at him for a moment, at least he was being polite now that made Hackmon smile. "Oh, we weren't doing anything really, we were going to go to Rustport town to see one of her old friends, but we got lost due to some trouble with another digimon, her friend normally visited her and we were sent the wrong direction by mistake. Yeah my sister and I tend to trust people a lot more then we should." Was it bad to be to trusting? Most likely but still it wasn't like they were in danger really, ok they were but there's no way he knew that right?

At Luna's remark on holosuit's Coonaimon turned to his sister and gave her a look to say "See? I told you so". Sparmon turned away with a slight huff. "Humans are weird, it's not like digimon freak out over humans visiting the digital world, but then again I guess things are done differently there." Well, not all humans were like that, there were those who accepted digimon wholeheartedly and the ones who traveled to digital world and became heroes. With her current experience with them, it was kind of hard to believe that the majority of humans were so oblivious. "There are a lot of people out there you can't trust, all we can do is try to figure out who we can. It's difficult, but I always suggest that everyone take precautions. But every now and then, I guess it's better to give someone the benefit of the doubt, not everyone is evil or going to mislead you after all." Coonaimon hoped he didn't sound too much like he was lecturing Hackmon, he was simply trying hard to sound agreeable. To him Hackmon and his sister definitely seemed a bit too trusting, and he would have rather just left it at telling the other rookie to be more cautious. But that probably wouldn't do anyone any good though would it? He'd just sound like he was looking down on Hackmon or outright calling him stupid for believing in people despite the fact that they were pretty much strangers to each other. "Hey Luna, you're taller then everyone else," Sparmon started, stating the obvious. "Do you see anything up ahead?" Well there probably wasn't anything, just sand, maybe a couple cacti or a tumbleweed... "Maybe we could play a game of I-spy and you'd be the best at it because you could see further..." That'd turn out great... "No, not that game, never mind" Just walking was getting a little boring though.

"Yeah things are done differently there from what I've seen, my advice for the going to the human world is try not to meet with a human named Gallatin, he seems to get quite violent towards other digimon being there." Dust explained before deciding to add. "He's not that powerful but he did find me while in my Holo-suit so just be aware, he's a strange human that wears a Holo-suit so just look for a really oddly dressed human and avoid them." Dust gave warning, after that encounter with Gallatin he thought for a bit, had it not been Dust and some headstrong rookie Gallatin seemed alright with just killing them right then and there, and Dust was NOT going to let anyone die for his asinine reasoning.
Luna smiled happy she was taller before looking around, she forgot she could actually fly in her Ultimate form but still she managed to see something, something rather large in the distance slowly walking towards them. From what she saw from a distance it was large, and had several guns coming from every area and it was walking towards them, slowly. It was a Mega digimon Gundramon. "C-contact." Luna said stepping back, this was a Mega, she could not handle a Mega.

"Contact? What do you mean? Contact what?" Confused, Sparmon looked to the others. What was going on now? Was this a game? No Luna didn't seem to be joking, she looked worried. What could make someone as powerful and cool as Luna worry? "Is something wrong? What do you see?" "What should we do?" Taking in the stutter of Luna's voice... Coonaimon figured there had to be something big going on. He'd enjoy being able to take charge, but not when he has no idea of the situation. He looked out trying to find what Luna had seen. Through the waves of heat, was there something silver? His eyesight wasn't the best so he could be wrong... Really it was better to let the more experienced digimon take the lead.

Dust looked at Luna, what had her so afraid, then something large made quite the noise shaking the sandy ground for a moment, Dust looked up as Luna kept backing up obviously worried. "It's a Mega level digimon, coming right towards us." Luna said slightly regaining her composure about this whole thing, they needed to bail and now. "Luna calm down, just because they're a Mega doesn't mean they're a threat." Dust reminded but she kept looking at it. "I'd uh rather be safer then sorry on this one Dust." She argued.
Hackmon heard this before looking ahead, due to the big size of the digimon it was coming closer rather fast but Hackmon quickly ran out towards them. "[font color="#1acaa7"It's alright, I think that's my sisters friend.[/font]" He said rushing over to meet them halfway. "And to think you were worried." Dust said making Luna shrug. "I'm strong sure but I know my limits, like when I have to fight something seven times my size and strength." That was a lie and Dust knew it, she would run head first she was afraid for the rookies sake but didn't admit it.
Hackmon ran up towards the Large Mega, it was still quite the distance though, being big meant it was easy to see especially since it started getting closer. Dust shrugged and started walking towards the digimon.

"A mega-level digimon? That's so cool!" Sparmon joined in, following behind Hackmon not worried in the slightest. Hackmon recognized this digimon, so he or she had to be friendly! Plus, how often did someone meet a mega level digimon? Coonaimon let his sister go, everyone had calmed down and things seemed to be alright. He decided to stay back and walk with Dust though. "I wonder if they'll see Hackmon and start coming towards us. Not that that would be a bad thing, not at all if Hackmon's right, I'm just glad he's found his sister and everything is turning out alright." There was still a bit of wariness in his voice, but there couldn't be that many digimon like that in the area. Gundramon was a pretty recognizable face, and kind of hard to miss. With the chaos over Coonaimon thought about the human world and what Dust warned them about just minutes before. Was there really a human there who was that dangerous? It was a scary thought, he'd have to be careful when they went there.

Luna was glad she was excited but really didn't want anything to go wrong if Hackmon wasn't right, that would end badly so she quickly trailed behind the two rookies leaving Dust and Coonaimon to walk it alone. "As am I, things never normally go this smooth for me." Did that just jinx it? It most likely just jinxed it for the Impmon, which would suck if he was right. The larger digimon looked at the smaller rookies running towards it not recognizing one of them but noticing the red and white shape of Hackmon, only he said nothing and stood there as a smaller digimon walked from behind him. "Hey Gundramon why'd you stop" A humanoid looking digimon asked holding one gun pointing down the line for some reason expecting trouble, he fears were put to rest as Hackmon ran over skidding to a stop before her. "Oh Hackmon, thank goodness I was looking for you." She said lowering the gun.
The digimon was a Sistermon Noir and despite the appearance she was a champion level digimon. She went over looking at the Hackmon for a bit checking everything about him. "Wow not a scratch on you? Did you manage to lose that Ultimate?" She asked curious as to his condition, he shook his head quickly before looking at the group of digimon trailing behind him. "No, the group behind me fought him off, two of them could turn into Ultimates and they healed me afterwards." She seemed rather impressed by this after being betrayed in the desert before, she just assumed all desert dwellers were rude but this group seemed far from that, she waited till everyone came over before talking. "Thanks for helping him out, sorry you had to me and this big lug were busy dealing with another." She explained but didn't say what digimon it was, the large Mega gave a small nod but didn't add anything else, not even a noise.

"It was no trouble! Dust and Luna did most of the work though, and Hackmon's really cool so I'm glad we got the chance to meet!" Sparmon spoke up eagerly. The mega level Gundramon was a little scary up close, but she still felt awe when looking up at him. The Sistermon seemed nice, though she'd looked pretty on-edge at first. She's Hackmon's sister? "My name's Sparmon, it's nice to meet you." Coonaimon decided to stay quiet for a while longer. So Hackmon was in a group with a champion and a mega? He wondered if the ultimate Dust and Luna fought singled Hackmon out as the weakest, that seemed like it made sense but it was rather cruel. It must not have cared much for its partner if the Skullscorpionmon had just left it to face against a mega level and a champion alone. Or maybe it was overconfident? Well at least the danger was over. If he and his sister had come across something like that on their own, he doubted they would have come out so unscathed. Sparmon was starring at him again. What? Oh... "I'm Coonaimon."

"Dust and Luna?" She asked looking at the other two digimon, it was a Impmon and a Lekismon, why they were called Dust and Luna was beyond her but hey why question it. "Thank you both very much." She said with a smile. "Say thank you also big guy." She said poking the large Mega digimon, it looked at her for a moment before looking down and in a strangely light voice said quietly. "Thanks." Which was a bit odd considering his size. "It was no trouble, happy to help." Luna said soon after but Dust knew she was happy to be thanked, though it was easy to tell by her expression. "So, why are you all in the desert anyway? I don't mean to be nosy I just want to know if I could help you with what you're doing." She said making sure it didn't seem like she was suspicious about them.
"We're looking for a friend of mine, a Alphamon." Dust quickly replied, the sistermon crossed her arms thinking about it for a few moments. "Sorry, I haven't seen a Alphamon anywhere here, I did hear a rumor about one attacking people around the north end of the digital world, near the mountains." Did Dust hear that right? Attacking people?

Was it Dust's friend out there hurting people? Coonaimon couldn't shake the thought, Dust had amnesia and he hadn't seen his friend for quite sometime, it was possible something had happened. But it was also possible that it was a different Alphamon, or the rumors were false entirely. Just in case though... Coonaimon would make sure to stay clear from the mountains for a while, as nice as it would be to help the two ultimates out on the quest, he wasn't about to go risking his and his sister's life for it. Sparmon seemed to know what he was thinking and gave him a disapproving expression, but he couldn't change his mind now. It would just be foolish to go in, at least while they were still just rookies. Maybe they could do things like that when they were stronger, but for now it was too much. But the red-furred rookie didn't say anything out loud. They shouldn't intrude in Dust and Luna's quest, eventually they'd need to part ways somewhere, probably long before they would reach the base of that mountain. "So what's everyone going to do now? I guess we'll part ways here?" "What? Why?" "Everyone has a destination now, and they're probably in a hurry to get there." "Not us though, we don't really need to go back to the village... We could stay and help!" "Sparmon it's likely we'll get in their way if we went with Dust and Luna to the mountains-" Oh shoot he was assuming things again. But it would only be natural for them to go follow their lead now right? They've been searching for so long, it wouldn't be right to keep them here and longer than necessary.

Dust could hardly think straight after what he just heard. He stood for a moment hearing them all before walking back the way he came. "Yeah, I have to go. We'll head back to town since I know where I'm going just follow me. We can walk the rest of the way." Dust said looking back at the group, he tried keeping his straight Tone and mannerism but there was a sense of despair around him.
"Alright Dust, but don't get ahead of yourself. This could be a different one, so please wait until you're strong enough to handle this." Luna asked concern evident in her voice. Dust looked away for a moment before closing his eyes. "Doesn't matter if I can or can't handle this. I have to. Whatever happens happens now." Dust quietly said before he was slapped by Luna. "Dust he's attacking people. I don't care if it's a rumor I'm not letting you go there." She said quickly after doing that.
Dust was sent back a bit more then he would of liked to admit, only because she was a champion now. "Luna, you're right. Sorry. I should at least get someone to help us before, We'll go later." Dust looked back at everyone. "Sorry about that." Dust apologized, it was understandable right? Losing your memory and finding out the one guy you know could be hurting people. Thatd mess with anyone's head.

Coonaimon nodded, he was actually concerned for Dust. None of this could be easy for him. The rookie wanted to say something, but what could he really say in a situation like this? Something like this was probably best left to Luna. She knew Dust better then any one of them after all. "Thank you for everything" Coonaimon tried, his eyes downcast. Traveling with them now felt tense, but they were people he actually considered his friends. He'd miss traveling with them when it was all over, but he and his sister had no place with them afterwards. Maybe someday they could be useful and actually help their friends, but today wasn't that day. "I don't believe it's really him," Sparmon spoke up, "The Alphamon you're looking for. He's your friend so I don't believe he'd ever attack people without reason." She didn't like that her friends were upset, she wanted desperately to cheer them up. It was troubling, and she knew she couldn't offer them much. Rumors like this... Couldn't be true. Not when they were about people considered friends. "Sparmon we-" Coonaimon stiffened. "I don't think we know enough to be saying anything about this. You should stop" This wasn't any of there business, regardless of how much they wanted to help. They would only make matters worse, and that wasn't right. "Fine, but I still don't think it's true. We can talk about something else if that's fine with everyone?" "I think that would be best..." Coonaimon agreed softly. "Um... Sistermon, Hackmon mentioned that you were going to visit a friend of yours? What's your friend like?" Her words were forced and felt awkward to say. Probably more so to hear, but maybe something simple could lighten the mood just a little. Maybe if they could start up a conversation they could get Dust's mind off of things for a little bit.

Dust looked over at Sparmon, he wanted, he wanted to believe her so badly. He wanted to just smile and agree, say something anything positive about this but the nagging feeling in the back of his head, the same thing that came when he went Ultimate, when he fought and when he talked about his last wouldn't let him think of a positive, he could only think. What if it's true? No matter the positive things he tried to think that feeling kept Dust thinking on it when he knew he had to stop thinking about it.
"Yeah, something else." Dust managed to agree, he needed something to get his mind off this. He had to get something to get his mind off this. The Sistermon heard the question and silently crossed her arms looking around for a moment as if she was making sure the person she was talking about wasn't around. "If I'm honest a bit of a airhead, a good hearted Airhead but one all the same." Normally she wouldn't say that about her friend but she could easily read the mood and decided maybe one of her friends exploits could be a good idea.
"One time she came all the way over to me since she apparently lost her staff, but it was in her hands when she came and she never noticed from the desert to Terminus. Then she was convinced someone was following us one time and it turned out all she felt was Hackmon following us, which he was supposed to be doing." She tried using a cheerful tone with hopes to bring spirits back up via dumb stories.

Sparmon gave a half heartened laugh. "It'd be nice to meet her sometime, she sounds like a fun person to be around." The red-furred rookie tried to imagine what Sistermon's friend in her head. She took a moment to think back, there were times she and her brother did some pretty silly things. "One time we walked around for an hour before we ended up back where we started. I could have sworn we were going in a straight line, but it turned out we went in a complete circle. It was a good thing though, we were going to go meet up with someone and by the time we got back they were waiting for us." Coonaimon smiled a bit, maybe telling funny stories could work. Well he could do that, telling stories was easy. "There was once when we were younger, still in our in-training forms. Sparmon and I, well actually Ruumon was her name back then. Anyway, we went out exploring a town together, I can't recall which it was but a place we hadn't gone to before then. We ended up getting lost after awhile, so Ruumon went to ask for directions, after waiting a while I found her frustrated and shouting at a stature, she thought it was ignoring her." "Coonaimon!" Sparmon hid her face in embarrassment, but she was smiling widely again. Coonaimon turned to watch the others expressions, hopefully everyone's mood will change for the better soon enough. Still, were funny stories enough? It was better than walking in silence for sure though.
