Luny was still in doubt if he actually hit the giant theatric loser of a Digimon. If I did hit him that means the paralytic poison will be in effect. Maybe it takes time cause he is a champion. Anyway need to focus clear your mind, thinks to herself as she tries to discern the situation. Elliot was putting a brave face. He was pretty young to be good at lying. But making him admit it in the spot doesn't help anyone. 'Ok, but be careful not to lose this one too. Well whatever. It will make a good fight even without your help' jokes Luny as Strikedramon charges towards his chosen opponent. Making that big fake out surprise even Luny. Well, quite crafting for a human. Need to keep pointers on his patterns, thinks and that makes her even more vulnerable to Tinkermon's attack.
At the last second Luny manages to avoid Tinkermon's spear who was going straight for her right eye by accident as she turns to check on Aurora and the giant snake. 'Aaaah! What the aaa! Stop attacking me you stupid midget!' shouts Luny as the flying rookie relentlessly attacks. Luny starts flinging her claws like she tries to grab a pesky fly. The bright light kept changing positions faster and faster as Luny's anger grew larger and larger! 'That's it I am mad now, you Tinker-bimbo!' shouts in frustration as she flings one last time around her claws probably not hitting anything. Thanks goodness she had seen Peter Pan a couple of days ago in a re-run and she knew her weakness. 'I don't believe in fairies! Ha! There I said it!' shouts as she kept stinging her. 'Ok I guess that didn't work... Alright next tactic.' says as she knew she couldn't hit her with her current speed. I'll have to decrease her to my level of speed thinks and start shaking her fluffy bunny ears. 'Lunar Ripple!' says as hundreds of bubbles start appearing near her ears. all with different sizes and colors. As those generate, trying to increase her field she starts spinning her body like a ballerina in order to spread them in a circle around herself. Hitting those would slow Tinkermon down considerably so she can actually hit her.

If Lunamon was unsure about her claw landing before, a quick glance at his diminished fighting prowess would make it clear that it made its mark perfectly. Once an expert fencer, Petermon's swings seemed clumsier and more frantic. Elliot didn't even have to dodge some of them, leaning to the left slightly to avoid a few particularly frantic strikes. Occasionally Petermon fought with one hand and rubbed his eyes with the other, trying to force out the source of this sudden onset of clouded vision. Surely if his vision hadn't messed up, he would've been able to dodge that kick from earlier! He had no clue of the blurring properties of Lunamon's strike, and seemed to think it was just sand in the eye or something. It certainly left him far less able to land a blow on Elliot. In his frustration, he let out a high pitched battle cry and dove forward, dagger extended toward Elliot's heart.
Big mistake.
The wild strike didn't find a home. Or, at least, it didn't find the one it wanted. With a step to the side, Elliot caught Petermon's wrist right in his hand. After pulling the kidnapper in with a brutal tug, he was able to grab his other wrist as well. The Petermon tried to squirm out of the grip, eventually opening his mouth to try and call out a magical incantation, but he was interrupted by two words from Elliot. "Giant Swing!" The Strikedramon started to spin in circles, Petermon being dragged along behind him by the wrists. Ten rotations later, a very dizzy Petermon was flung right into the crow's nest. If his disorientation was bad before, now his head could barely stop spinning. For the time being he hid, thinking of any way to buy himself time.
"Lost Barrage!" he slurred, pointing his dagger in Elliot's general direction. A cannonade rained down on the ship, not accurate enough to be directly pounding Elliot but thick and explosive enough to leave him unable to charge through. It was just the trick Petermon needed to try and catch his bearings, hopefully leaving him in enough condition to get back into the fray.
"And I don't believe in idiots, but here we are!" Tinkermon retorted, sticking her tongue out and blowing raspberries at Lunamon. How rude! Unfortunately, while she was busy taunting the moon rabbit, she stumbled right into some of the Lunar Ripple bubbles. Considering she was about the size of an individual bubble, the move hit her badly. Tinkermon went from perfectly pristine to drenched in soapy, rainbow liquid, and her hummingbird-speed wings were now flapping at maybe an eighth of their normal pace. Due to her small size, Tinkermon relied on speed to cover much distance at all. With her speed slashed, she was moving with all the velocity of a leaf on the breeze.
Realizing her bad predicament, Tinkermon spun her spear. At her command a barrier of leaves enclosed her, forming a flimsy yet still present defense. "Ha! Leaf Shield!" she declared, hoping her smug tone would make the defense seem stronger than it actually was. Never let the enemy know you're getting desperate!

After the successful hit of Lunamon's barrage of bubbles she grinned and looked towards the little fairy. She didn't seem phased from her new speed limit. She was looking slower and slower though. The green barrier around her started to form. Hmm this would be difficult to pass through. My skills are to weaken the enemy and I don't have a lot of attacking options, thinks to herself as she tried to assess the situation and plan her next attack. ' Ha! Is that all you got twerp? A small green bubble? Don't make me laugh. I better go deal with someone your size. I wasn't underestimating you before from your appearance but it seems I need to.' taunts her. Her plan was a bit obvious. Make her mad enough so the fairy drops her defensive stance and go on the offensive. Her Tear Shot could penetrate the bubble for sure but wasting energy for something that can be done faster and easier would be pointless, especially with Elliot and the kidnapper were duking it out like that.
Further away from battle George was struggling to keep Charlotte from leaving their side as she kept kicking, punching and screaming for her 'captain' to save her. ' No! Captain please save me! Please Captain! I don't want to leave this place! Captain.... ' and as she was about to scream some more Aurora slaps her sister on the cheek. Her voice died down for a bit. Aurora looked at her hand, as it was shaking. Her eyes watered in an instant and she looked like she was ready to cry. 'I... I.. I' m sorry Charlotte. I didn't mean to hit you. I.. I don't know what came over me.' says as she kneels in front of her two siblings and hugs them tight. But she knew what came over her. She felt terrible she couldn't do anything to help her friends. Elliot was fighting her battle and Moonmon was helping him. All she could do was wait in the corner, like a princess waiting to be saved. It was all her fault. She suggested the game, she didn't look out for Charlotte and got kidnapped. All her fault. Just like what happened to Kairi. She held her tears but everyone could see she was distraught. But then it happened. George hugged her back. 'It's okay sis. We are safe.' Even Charlotte's kidnapped personality didn't ruin the moment. Charlotte seemed to get back in her old self little by little. Before long she stopped struggling and a bit after that she stopped screaming for help. Maybe the spell on her was wearing off. Trying to pull herself together Aurie turns towards the giant 8-headed snake. ' Hey Mr. Snake-guy. You ok? Can we help with anything?' shouts to get his attention which would be difficult since he was divided into 8 heads and 8 different rookies.
To hell with planning I need to end this now, no matter if she drops her defenses or not. We need to get everyone out of here and even before that I need help Elliot with the fairy guy over there, decides Lunamon. 'Tear Shot!' says as from her long antenna droplets of water started to form. In a matter of seconds, a sphere of liquid water was created kept airborne by her powers. The ball was launched towards the little fairy at an incredible speed, who wouldn't be able to easily dodge it due to the effect of the lunar bubbles. Sure she may leave her defense stance and give herself a boost but trying to dodge the attack would make her probably fall into more bubbles.

"Why you little- I mean I- How dare you!" the Tinkermon shrieked, her Leaf Shield dropping in an instant. Her tiny lance was whipped out with frightening speed, Tinkermon aiming it at Lunamon and charging forward. Her wings beat with the intensity of a hummingbird, Tinkermon trying to muster forth all of her effort to make this a crushing impact.
Unfortunately, due to the slowdown on her and her small size, she was flying very slowly. The ball of water, bigger than Tinkermon, slammed into her like a freight truck. She seemed down for the count.

At this point, it was unclear if Isaac was fighting or running a day care. One of his heads was cradling a particularly sleepy Rookie, who had reverted to sucking its thumb. Another was cheering on encouragement as two Rookies had a sword-fight on top of his back. One Veemon was still slashing in vain at a particularly scary looking head, but its Terriermon buddy put a hand on its shoulder and diverted its attention to something more interesting; shadow puppets! With so many of the Rookies occupied, Isaac's main head turned to Aurora and grinned. "What? No, I'm fine," he said. His voice was distinctly more snake-like, but Aurora would likely still be able to recognize him from the cafe earlier. "Turns out I'm really good with kids! These guys just wanted someone to play with, it looks like.
You guys should slip out while you can. Elliot'll be able to catch up to you for sure."
~~~~
Petermon's blurred vision faded just as his Lost Barrage did. He drew his knife once more and flashily swung it around, daring Elliot to leap up and join him. Unfortunately, Elliot didn't notice the rope in Petermon's hand. As he started scaling the mast, Petermon rappelled down and hit Elliot with a hefty, two-footed kick to the injured shoulder. The Strikedramon hit the ground like a sack of potatoes, Petermon landing after him and stabbing him right in the shoulder. He twisted the knife, and he twisted hard. The tears of pain were almost impossible for Elliot to keep back. However, crying wasn't the only thing Elliot had to say. He also mumbled something incomprehensible under his breath. "I'm sorry, what was that?" Petermon asked, bending down and cupping his ear in an exaggerated fashion.
Fire erupted from Elliot's tail, which had snaked up behind Petermon, and promptly blasted in him fire. "I said Tailblazer!" Elliot said between grit teeth, Petermon patting himself down furiously to try and put out the flame. Elliot took advantage of that distraction to hop his feet, using the momentum from his leap to headbutt Petermon right in the jaw. He stumbled back, clutching his head in pain and dropping his knife. Elliot saw his chance now, kicking the knife and sending it sailing right off of the ship. Petermon was unarmed now, and that made him a lot less scary.
The two faced off, Petermon warily putting his fists into a pugilist's stance and Elliot clutching his ruined shoulder. Both looked absolutely messed up, but neither wanted to give up the ghost.
As Tinkermon seemed to be incapacitated for now, Lunamon lets out a small cry of victory. 'Pixie down! Seems like fairies exist no more! Mic drop!' says sarcastically and tries to make a backflip. Childish celebrations for most but it seemed like the way to celebrate for Luny. As she jumped and tried to land on her feet she drop on the wooden floor face flat. ' Ow! Let's practice it first on something more soft, before attempting that again in public... ' whispers to herself. Meanwhile seeing the Petermon's knife flying out of the ship she should go and help Elliot with this guy. Both of them seemed really banged up. The kidnapper seemed to be in a disadvantage now that his weapon was gone. But Elliot's ruined shoulder and stab wounds doesn't give him an edge. I am still a Rookie but I can try and tip the scales, especially now that both of the are so preoccupied, calculates herself. Trying to sneak an attack at his blind side Luny forms another Tear shot from her antenna and catapults it towards the fairy kid. 'Tear Shot!' But she realizes she used a lot of her bag of tricks really quickly and seems it slows her down. As the water sphere launches she gets knocked back and falls on her butt. Seems those small injuries aren't so small as I thought. I better be careful around those two bigger opponents. They seem more capable than that bimbo pixie, thinks and stands up, sweat covering her forehead from exhaustion.
-------
As the voice from the snake continued to speak Aurie notices something familiar. 'Waiit a minute... Isaac? Is that you?' asks in confusion. ' It must be you. When did you..? How did you...? Oohh, right Elliot must have...' says Aurie as she starts to figure out the answers herself, since most of them were pretty obvious. ' I must say you look quite charming... get it? (Snake Charmer) Cause you look like a snake? Let's just... let's just go before I embarrass myself anymore.' says as she turns towards her siblings. George takes his sister by the hand and leads her towards the wooden staircase they came up. ' How are we gonna make her climb down the stairs?' asks George as Charlotte was resisting less but didn't obey any orders. They dragged her there. This time she looked more like an empty shell of a person than an brainwashed flunky. ' Hmmm.. I don't know. Charlotte? Can you here me Charlotte?' turns towards her sister and looks at her closely. ' If you are in there can you lift your arm for me please?' says as she tries to establish what her little sister can do.
Charlotte was watching everything closely. She was gaining more and more control of her body, but not as fast as she could have hoped. The spell seemed to deteriorate over time, but not enough time has past. Her sister was testing out what was her control. She seemed to know what she was doing. As she tried with all her strength to make her arm lift all she could do was move her fingers and make a fist. Nothing else. She tried again but still nothing. 'Ok we will make due with this I guess.' says Aurie ' Can you hold your hands tight for me? Let's see.' keeps talking to her as she joins her arms together. Charlotte manages to hold her two arms together even without Aurora's help. She could hold her hands. That's a progress from her previous condition. Charlotte seemed happy with the result. But in a couple of seconds the situation got more frightening as Aurora kept talking. ' Charlotte, darling, I want you to be strong for me. I know you are. We need to get off this ship. I am going let you ride piggy back . I want you to not let go of your arms until we descend the stairs. I want you to be a brave girl like I know you are ok? Can you do it? Blink twice if you can do it.' explains Aurie. Charlotte panicked but her hands hadn't separated yet. That meant she could do. But could she make her body blink twice. She tried and success! 'Alright. George you first, if anything happens try to help me stabilize her. ok? Be the monkey brother that you are ok?' jokes and smiles towards him as she tries to lighten the mood and the seriousness of the predicament they were in.' Hey big snake guy, Cover our escape please.' turns George towards Isaac, as Aurie makes Charlotte ride into a piggy back. 'Ready? Let's go. We can do it guys, go.' says Aurie as George starts to climb down first, followed by Aurie. This could go very easily wrong, thinks to Aurie, very wrong. Lets hope it doesn't.
"Seriously? Come on, that was awful," Isaac groaned as Aurora made her pun. It was so terrible that it went all the way back around to amazing, a feat very few had pulled off. All eight of his heads mock gagged at once, which for the seven puppet heads looked more like brain freeze, but Isaac hoped the point would come across well. "But yep. That's why Elliot and I didn't tell you about what kind of Digimon we have. Instead of having partners of our own, we transform. We figured it would've been way too tough to explain, especially with us being in a big, fancy cafe. Now that we're on our home turf, though, we can really show you what we're made of!" In this case, it seemed super-babysitting was what Isaac was made of. At least Elliot was putting up a genuine, capital-F Fight.
Upon hearing George's request, he jokingly saluted with his tail rattle. "You can always count on me," he said, his main head watching the girl and her siblings make their way down while his puppet heads kept watch over the Lost Ones. Whenever one of the Lost Ones remembered they had a mission to attend to and tried to run after their kidnapped sister, a hefty a swipe of Isaac's tail kept them at pay. The sweeps were slow and gentle, and soon it became more like a game of jump rope than an actual feud. The eight-headed snake was thankful that the Lost Ones had the attention spans of gnats, but that seemed to be the inevitable case when their whole life was based around whimsy, adventure, and what was probably a steady diet of soda and chocolate.
~~~~
Petermon mostly tried to keep on the defensive during this little boxing match. He danced around Elliot's heavy-handed strikes, able to focus far more on his dodging now that he had no real way of defending himself. Occasionally, when he was close enough to Elliot's bad side, he tried to slow the dragon warrior down with a flurry of weak punches aimed at his injured shoulder. Even for a rather weak fighter, Elliot's shoulder was in enough pain that it forced him to pause. From there, it would only take a powerful swipe to the head catching Petermon off guard to turn the momentum back in Elliot's favor. It was an unstable equilibrium, where unless Petermon was perfectly on the ball Elliot was able to rip away any advantage he had.
Still, he wasn't giving up yet. The rush, the challenge. It was unmatched. This was the most fun Petermon had experienced in a one on one fight in a while! He was used to dancing his way through armies while his Lost Ones looked on in awe, or circling around all sorts of krakens and carving them to bits with his knife. Nobody had really challenged him man to man before, at least not like this. It was new. It was thrilling! Perhaps that was why he hadn't given up the ghost yet, even if he knew without his weapon he would only be delaying the inevitable.
A pity he never expected that would come next. Seeing Lunamon's attack charging, Elliot vaulted over Petermon in an attempt to make him turn toward the blow. Petermon wheeled around to face Elliot, the Strikedramon jumped away, and Petermon took a Tear Shot right to the waist. He doubled back a bit, winded yet not overly harmed, and looked around for the source of the attack. His gaze turned to Lunamon, and his eyes narrowed in irritation.
Then Isaac motioned for the Lost Ones and shouted "Look! He wet himself!"
Whether the Digimon that Isaac were currently entertaining or the humans keeping safe within their cabins, everyone started laughing uproariously. Their fearless leader just did that? In public? Their laughter was merciless, and Petermon looked around in horror as his image of cultivated coolness was being torn down before his very eyes. How could anybody recover from that? As his face burned bright red beneath the kerchief he was wearing, he made a run for his cabin and slammed the door shut. Isaac proudly slithered over to Lunamon and Elliot, saying "Better get going now. He's gonna be furious when he gets changed."
"Isaac! We had that under control," Elliot protested, seemingly bummed out by his fight being interrupted.
"Think about it this way. Aurie can say her Digimon embarrassed a tougher one so bad, he gave up. Isn't that a great way to start off her journey here?"
Elliot thought about that answer and grinned. If he knew her gaming enough, she was going to brag like crazy about that one. "Yeah. You're right. C'mon, lets go join them," he said, Isaac staying behind to hold the rope steady as Elliot leaped off of the side of the ship. As he landed, he degenerated back from Strikedramon to human, shooting Charlotte a worried look. His shoulder still looked like a complete mess, but he didn't seem to be paying that much mind.
"Is she okay?" Elliot asked Aurora, voice small and exhausted.

Just as the giant snake turned everyone attention over the giant wet stain on Petermons' clothes and his embarrassing exit, there was a sweet feeling of relief and a mixed feeling of anger. Lunamons' best offensive attack nearly did nothing to the weakened champion. It only manage to get him wet.. Sure he was way stronger than her but being able to not even put a scratch at the opponent was pretty shocking and bad for her self-esteem. Lunamon just whispered whatever to Isaac's comment on embarrassing their opponent. She could care less what they would tell Aurie. She didn't want to know or care about the fighting or the bragging rights that she will get. She was a gamer who played constantly games of war, but was clearly more of a pacifist than anyone she has ever met. Not that she knew a lot of people as you can think but it was strange. Wandering in her on own thoughts, Luny followed the other two without much of a single word. Staring down as she climbed the ladder, another thought popped in her mind. How could she handle such a situation without their two new friends being there. They literally saved their butts. The giant snake held back the entire armed crew, while Elliot went on a man to man all out brawl with the captain of the ship. And what did she do? She fought a tiny pixie and won.. Barely. Her ego was bruised but this situation made her realise something. How much she cared about partner, Aurora. No her Friend. Aurora was more than a big source of money, power and food. She knew that from the beginning, but Lunamon refused to admit it. Her kindness was overbearing, not to be pretend, her resolve was too stupid to believe in. What she saw today, though confirmed those allegations. Aurie was someone she can learn things from. Someone she can trust to make her stronger. Someone she can proudly call partner.
-----------------------------
As the fight continued and Isaac was keeping busy the rookie crew of pirates Aurora and the twins started climbing down the ladder. Aurie was struggling to keep her balance since she was carrying her sister on her back. Charlotte wasn't fighting back but Auries' lack of physical strength was making things more difficult. George was climbing slower and slower keeping watch to the condition of his two sisters. Aurie's neck started to feel more and more pressured as Charlotte was slowly and unwillingly choking her, since she couldn't hold her position properly due to her lack of control. That wasn't such a good idea as I initially thought, argues with her inside voice. I better climb down these stairs faster or we are both goners. As they were getting further and further away from Petermon and the ship Charlottes body started to react to more and more commands she tried to issue. In 10m. distance away from the earth she managed to reposition herself properly on her own, relieving the pressure to Aurie's neck. ' Thank you Charlotte. You are a treasure. Are you feeling better?' asked as she continued to climb down. Charlotte tried to talk. She didn't manage though. All she did was let out a small moaning sound. 'Mmmmm..' that's something thinks Charlotte. She was desperate. This spell that was cast on her was horrible. Her slow recovery though gave her hope. ' Good good! That's it darling. Don't push yourself, you are going to be alright I promise.' tries to calm her down as a mother trying to calm her child that fell down and scratched his knee. Finally they manage to get down and Petermon's curse is starting to lift even faster. Charlotte in a matter of seconds regained full control of her body. The minute that happened she started sobbing like a lost child in the middle of the woods. Without a moments notice Aurie took her in her arms and hold her as tight as she could repeating the same words. 'You are safe, love. I am here for you.' Charlotte's tears didn't stop for a while. George was just sitting there being angry at himself mostly. He was kicking dirt as if it was responsible for this incident. He was cursing and cursing himself for letting this happen to his beloved sister. As always he was too busy being naive and carefree. At least she wasn't harmed, that's what calmed him down mostly than anything else. Charlotte was showing an overwhelming amount of tears. This horrifying experience was something so traumatic it kept her crying. Even her step-sister's comforting words couldn't stop the frustration and helplessness she felt those crude moments. As the the giant purple lizard jumps out of the ship and the weird looking bunny was climbing down the stairs, well to be more precise jumping down. To Charlotte's surprise, the giant hurt lizard reverted back to her dear Elliot. His right shoulder was painfully hurt and his first words out of his mouth was if she was okay. Charlotte kept sobbing but pushed her sister away. ' Go... help... Elliot.... He .... i.... s Hurt.... I will... be fine... ' tries to articulate between her tears. As soon as Aurie heard Elliot she looked towards his direction. ' Thank goodness, you are all safe. Oh mon dieu! Are you ok? Let me patch this up. I learned how from my sister'. Aurora started pulling the first aid kick she had in her bag with disinfectant, bandages and gauzes. ' Is everyone ok? What happened up there are we safe for now?' asks one question after another trying to discern the ending result of the battle.

"I-I'm fine," Elliot protested, although judging by his lack of movement he definitely welcomed the incoming medical attention. "I just wish I didn't get you guys dragged into this crud in the first place." The guilt seemed to be weighing him down more than the actual pain did, and his voice was tiny from worry. "I'm so sorry, Charlotte. I should've been more careful, or at least waited for you. Please, please be okay . . . " A sharp pain shooting up his arm cut off his words, but he continued to shoot worried glances in Charlotte's direction even as his treatment began. It was a horrifying introduction to the Digital World, for a really sweet and kind person. She deserved so much better.
He made sure to turn to George, too. "It was really brave to come with us. Thank you," he said, noticing the boy's frustration. He could only hope a bit of reassurance would be able to help.
And then came the flood of questions. Elliot tried to pull himself together long enough to answer, even as his voice was staggered by the pain. "We were fighting a kidnapper. A hypnotist. Apparently he's turned a bunch of lost kids and Digimon into his pirate crew. They don't seem hypnotized anymore, but enough time passed and they're still loyal. I'm really glad we avoided that happening to you guys.
Anyway, Isaac distracted the crew by putting on a show for them, while Lunamon and I fought the captain and his fairy. The fairy didn't stand a chance against Lunamon, but the captain was putting up a really good fight. Lunamon really saved my butt there. If she didn't get involved, I don't know how much longer I could've lasted. Thankfully, I think we're safe for the time being."
~~~~
Petermon sat in his room, licking his wounds. A big old welt on his stomach from the Tear Shot was the newest yet most embarrassing of the group, but he was also covered in bruises from the all-out brawl with that strange Strikedramon. So what if one of his prospective Lost Ones was taken away? He could just look for another abandoned soul in the Human World, luring them in with his siren's song and adding them to his troupe. This was just a setback. A humiliating one, but he and the Lost Ones going hunting for leviathans would probably get the band back on his side. No way they could be embarrassed by their leader when he was fighting sea monsters, right?
Unfortunately, today the monster was coming for him. Two of Orochimon's heads burst through his front door. Two burst through his left window. Two burst through his right window. Petermon was completely surrounded. Rather than attack, however, the great snake asked one simple question.
"Where are they?"
As Aurora walks towards Elliot ready to dress his wound, Charlotte was trying to cope with the situation. Everyone seem to blame themselves. Aurie had that same look when her friend, Kairi, was in that awful accident. Elliot was apologizing for something he couldn't know or anticipate. Her brother was kicking dirt a bit away from her not able to even look at her in the eyes. The moments of her mind control were seared into her memory and will be really hard to erase. But she is strong. She can do it. Eventually.. But looking at so many people trying to shift the blame from her carelessness and the deceitfulness of the kidnapper made her angry. She stood up and faced all of them ' What...is.... done... is.... done. Please... stop blaming ...yourselves... I ... I don't want... to see... anyone else do that again!!!' started whispering and sobing, but the last couple of words came out screaming. Although, her tears hadn't stop and she was still shaking out of fear, she tried with all the inner strength she had to calm herself down. Aurie and George couldn't believe it. Charlotte was speaking louder and with more confidence than usual. They knew she meant every word. Both tried to recompose themselves and focus on the tasks at hand.
Aurie started disinfecting the wound in order to avoid any infections. ' I know it stings a bit. Bare with me Elliot. You can do it.' tries to comfort him like a nurse talking to a boy who hurt his knee. After she cleaned the wound as thoroughly as she could, she started bandaging his shoulder. ' Thank god nobody else got hurt....' says with a relief. ' I hope we can help the other kids too. Moonmon are you ok? Did you get hurt?' says as she turns towards her now evolved partner, Lunamon. ' I didn't do anything really. They blew things a bit out of proportion. I beat up a midget fairy who almost poked my eye out and I managed to throw water at the kidnapper... Yeah... Big contribution to the rescue....' says Lunamon sarcastically. She didn't mind being over-praised for things she did, but taking credit for someone else's achievements was unacceptable. Doing that not only hurts her pride, but will make her trainer overestimate her abilities and make her enter situations in the future which will too dangerous or even lethal for them. ' And my name is not Moonmon. This form is known as Lunamon.' corrects her as she sits down on the grass near her trainer.
' Lunamon, huh? So, how does... hmmmm.. Luny sound? I think it fits you perfectly. Almost done Elliot. Don't move for a bit.' says as finishes the last touches on her first-aid help to Elliot's wound. ' Sounds stupid. But whatever. If you want to call me that I won't object. Much...' answers with a tone of mockery in her tone. Aurie cracks a smile and both her and Luny chuckle a bit to their conversation. ' Aaaaand done. By the way, where is your brother, Elliot? I don't see him around here.' continues Aurie as she looks around and couldn't see a giant snake or the fiure of Elliot's brother around. Meanwhile, Charlotte was getting better and better. Her tears were beginning to lessen, although it could have been because her tear ducts were drying up than, her trying to compose herself. Her shaking was starting to dissappear, mostly cause after Aurora left her side she sat on the ground on holding her legs and trying to focus on her breathing like her friend from camp had seen her to do in case of panic or stress attacks. George was still being awkward and nervous but didn't comment on Elliot's praising words or the whole converastion. He only had one thought on his mind. When the heck were they going to live this weird and torturous place. It seemed fun, but this world and it's inhabitants made his sister cry and that was something he won't forget easily.
Elliot hushed up as soon as Charlotte made her displeasure known. She was sobbing, shaking, and screaming, and hearing such pain and worry almost made the boy tear up himself. He looked down at his feet, eyes clouded over and voice tiny as he realized he had just caused the poor girl even more pain. In an attempt to find the right words, he could only end up clinging onto one, a woefully inadequate yet all-encompassing choice for how he felt right now.
"Okay."
What else could he do? Apologize more? Explain himself? He knew this wasn't the right time or the right place. Maybe later he would be able to properly vocalize his worries. Instead, he simply backed down so Charlotte could have her space and peace of mind. There was no need to make her hurt even more.
Besides, now he was too busy hurting even more! Elliot didn't expect his wound to hurt as much as it did, but he cringed and hissed in pain as Aurora began cleaning it. He tried to hold it steady, knowing that sudden movements would only make things worse, but keeping his composure was far more difficult without adrenaline exploding through his veins. Each touch hurt the tiniest bit less, but he was still forced to grit his teeth to their breaking point in order to avoid crying out in pain. Soon the first aid was nearing its end, and the boy slumped against a tree in exhaustion. He would have to leave soon, but for now he needed nothing more than to rest. This was the most action he had ever seen without Isaac backing him up, and it was a strange feeling accomplishing it all on his own.
"He should be coming with us, soon. Maybe he left something on the ship?" Elliot suggested, confused slightly by Isaac but not wanting to give the others cause to worry.
~~~~
"Don't play dumb with me."
The voice was as cold and hard as steel, echoing from all sides of Petermon's cabin. The disarmed champion backed up in fear, grabbing a quill from his desk and holding it in front of him as if it would be a suitable weapon. Occasionally he jabbed forward, as if trying to intimidate Isaac, but the Orochimon's heads continued to worm their way into his quarters. Soon he was trapped, pinned down in his own home.
"The kids have been on this ship for a while now, right? Never grow up, no bedtimes, milkshakes for breakfast, all that stuff. And their only friends are each other, their oh-so-fearless captain, and the Digimon on the ship. You could say they bonded. You could even say they're partners." All of Orochimon's heads swiveled to stare Petermon dead in the eye. "So tell me. Where did you hide their Digivices? There's no way they could have remained here for so long without being given the call. And it's the only way to ensure they'd never leave your grasp, promising them a shiny new toy always dangling just out of reach.
Just remember. We can do this the easy way-" Each of Orochimon's heads contorted into a hungering grin, fangs sliding out and eyes flickering "-or the hard way."

Aurie knew she wasn't as skilled as other medically licensed personnel, like her sister or school nurses, but she did the best she could. Sitting down and being unable to not worry about Isaac's delay which was obvious. Like she noticed before Elliot is kind of bad at lying. That's not bad, it's better than the opposite. She understood his concern and trying to shield them from more worry. ' You were really brave, Elliot. I don't know if we could do this without you. Thank you for everything.' says with a warm calming voice. She kisses him gently on the cheek. He looked tired, distressed amd shaken. Especially after Charlotte's outburst. Speaking of her, she had regressed to a baby rocking herself front and backwards, trying to calm herself. The tears were stopping, the shaking was less obvious and her expression was calming down even more. She makes a 'go talk to her' look at George. He ignores it and Aurie makes an more agressive look towards him. He agrees hesitantly and walks towards his twin sister.
George starts walking towards his sister. He was still mad and dissappointed, with himself mostly, about his whole usefulness in the mission. She stands in front of her and sees her face in so much pain. ' Hey.... Glad you ok sis... I... I.... am sorry I couldn't help much with the rescue. I was pretty much useless...' says as he scratches his head and smiles awkwardly to his sister. It looked more like grinning his teeth than smiling but it was the best he could do at the moment. Charlotte stands up and hugs him tightly. ' Thanks George.. Thank you for trying to save me.' her voice barely heard but her gesture spoke louder. George embraces her and returns the gesture. ' Good to have you back sis. We'll go to the manga store tomorrow. My treat.' says to lighten the mood. ' I'd like that.' responds immediately Charlotte with no hesitation. After they break the hug she starts walking towards Elliot who was resting in the shade of a weird looking digital tree. She stands in front of him and she was almost brought to tears in his traumatic state. She held her head low trying to avoid eye contact as she was blushing redder than a tomato. ' I... I... j.... Th..... Thank... Thank you... for.... Saving me!' says as she trembles to find her words and bows deeply in front of him. ' I'm sorry for causing you... trouble. But thank you! You were very kind to me.' continues as she was still bowing. ' Maybe he deserves a kiss? Your knight in shining armor?' Aurie couldn't help but to butt in like an annoying bigger know it all sister. It was better to lighten the atmosphere than not say anything. ' Sis! What .... I ... I ... I can't.. It's ...' starts protesting Charlotte. ' You can see it as a reward. Isn't that right Elliot?' smiles Aurora as she secretly laughs in her mind from their awkwardness she created.
Luny was sitting down catching her breath. Watching all this silliness almost cracked a smile on her face. But the moment that almost occurred she turns towards the ship still floating in the air above them. Maybe next time she does the rescuing herself. But having friends doesn't look that bad. Doing everything on her own seems exhausting and kind of pointless if you can't share with anybody.

That certainly took Elliot off-guard. He turned a dull pink as Aurora kissed his cheek, trying to hide his embarrassment. Besides, George and Charlotte would be talking now, and Elliot was seriously worried about both of them. They were so young, just around his age, and it made him feel awful seeing them have to suffer like that. It seemed like they would be okay, though, and seeing the two hug finally put a smile back on Elliot's face. His relief was practically tangible, and it seemed like a huge weight had been lifted off of his shoulders. Maybe Elliot was going to be okay after all.
And then Aurora had to go and make things embarrassing.
If he was blushing before, Aurora's suggestion left Elliot practically glowing red. "W-what?" he stuttered, eyes widening in surprise as he tried to process what Aurora had said to the two of them. At least he never had to put up with this kind of thing from Isaac!
Okay, sure. That's because he was the one teasing Isaac. But that's just semantics.
He tried his best to ignore Aurora's jokes and return to the original question. "It's okay. You didn't cause me any trouble," Elliot assured Charlotte, smiling warmly at the girl. "I'm just so, so glad you're okay. I was really worried there . . . " As if to further prove that it was no trouble, Elliot made sure to give her a gentle hug. "Next time we hang out, I'll probably try to pick something safer."
And then with a loud thud, another Digimon hit the Earth. Orochimon had landed, sagging slightly from the assembled set of kids and Digimon currently dangling off of his eight necks. He shot pleading looks to Elliot and Aurora, saying "This is the last time I go on babysitting duty. But at least we were able to get some real good done today, right guys?
Ready to go home? Or are you too busy having a moment there?" Well, Elliot couldn't escape the teasing forever, it seemed.

As Elliot hugged Charlotte, her heart skipped a beat. The shaking started to disappear, while her fears seemed so trivial now. Her hands started shaking, not from stress, but From excitement. She didn’t seem to want this little moment to end. Without thinking, just like that, she leaned in, her heart still beating like crazy. Her lips touched Elliot cheek and gave him a soft kiss. A kiss!! Something so bold, so out of character for her. Even George was kind of stunned by the whole thing. After this fleeting moment, Charlotte blushes even more, but she manage to show a warm smile as her face turned red from embarrassment.
Aurora surprised by her little sister's courage she smiled and turned towards Isaac in order to leave the scene without any more teasing. 'So are these all the children? I hope we get to find their parents and soon. I guess we better leave this place and start dropping them off to their homes asap.' noted as she starts walking over the pack of children and Digimon near Isaac. 'Luny, a hand if you please?' said as she turned towards Lunamon, who was just staring the sky sitting comfortably in the cool grass. She grunted and turned her head silently protesting against giving any help. " You deal with the small humans. I am just going to be here, relaxing, away from the crying and the fuss" says Luny in her rude tone, closing her eyes trying to take a nap. " Yes your Highness. Oh! Isaac, I wanted to thank you for coming to help us. It's like I have my own knight in scaly armor." mentions Aurora as she walks up to Isaac and gives him a quick kiss on the cheek, more to make him blush than to show her gratitude.

Just when Elliot's blush had started to calm down, too, Charlotte decided to add her two cents to the matter. His blush returned in full force as he tried to realize what had just happened. When the shock wore off, he found himself smiling, feeling quite warm inside. Was this what heroism felt like? Knowing you could make such a big difference towards others, and that you could help bring out their hopes and courage? Maybe he could get used to this after all, even if the way towards it was filled with perils and danger. With friends like these believing him, surely he could try and rise to the task! He smiled shyly as he turned to Charlotte, saying "Thank you."
Aurora may have stopped with the teasing, but Isaac was finding it hard not to snicker a bit about his brother's embarrassment. However, he had a job to do, so he quickly snapped his focus back to it. Or, at least, most of his heads did. One continued shooting Elliot teasing looks, a few dull snickers coming from its throat. Ah, the joy of having puppet heads! "Shouldn't be too hard. I imagine there's still gonna be searches going on, after all. Just gonna be tricky finding how to explain all of this, that's all." The Digital World being secret always made situations like this tricky, and Isaac was fairly sure that this was far from the first time it happened. Heck, how many other unexplained disappearances were due to this place? "But hey. The important thing is that everyone's okay, right?"
He grinned slightly as Aurora kissed him. Could snakes even blush? He wasn't sure, but he was certainly handling embarrassment like this better than Elliot was. "Heh, anytime," he said in regards to her complement. "I'm no hero, but that doesn't mean I'm just gonna sit back and let bad things happen to my friends.
Still, shame this was your first look at the Digital World, eh? Hopefully you get to check it out a bit more peacefully next time."

George who was being silent and mostly indifferent by all the flirting, was already walking towards Aurie and Isaac in order to discuss a plan of action. ' Well if we can't say anything, we won't. It's that simple.' answers George as he stopped near his sister. ' What do you mean little bro? How can we get them to the police station and say nothing?' asks Aurora as she clearly couldn't see what her little brother was trying to say. ' WE don’t go anywhere. Neither to the police nor to their parents. Only the children. We ask each child where it lives and just pop him there without being seen. No sensible parent is going to believe that a strange creature from another world took them on adventure with a flying pirate ship. Sure they will get yelled for running away and stuff, but at least it solves both problems.' explains to them. 'I can see the appeal to the solution George, but we are solving the problems creating another. Lot of people will think their kids are crazy and take a really bad turn for the worse. But, I guess you are right seeing we don't have a lot of alternatives. It's either this or get locked up for a massive kidnapping case we didn't commit and can't prove our innocence. What do you think, Isaac?' says with a soft tone in her voice fueled with hope that maybe he had thought of a better solution. As the discussion was happening Lunamon butted in the problem to share her thoughts on the issue. 'I agree with the small servant. The small humans won't have problems. They are cute and stupid. They will be forgiven easily when they start crying and stuff. Probably they will just dismiss the whole thing like a lot of time you always do.' Luny said as casually as she could, while she continued to keep her eyes closed and tried to relax.
