Crystal looked around at the dome Sanoske had created. It didn't seem all that different from the one he had made earlier. "No. That will be alright Sanoske. I think I'd rather be standing when doing this anyways."
"So what do you want to talk with me about?" Pure asked concerned as he look around at the dome. Feeling slightly secure within it's confines.
There was a good long moment of hesitation from the lopmon. As if trying to decide to she should say what needs to be said or remain silent. "Pure? Why do you... Not hate me?" She finally asked.
This definitely caught the terriermon off guard as he turned his attention solely on his sister.
"Geez Crys. You know I can't hate you. Where is this all coming from?"
"Don't play coy with me. You know exactly where I'm coming from. I'm the reason why you and that bodysnatching bastard of a parasite are now stuck together for who knows how long."
She knows that I'm right here right?
"Oh... You mean that. Come on Crys. Don't give me that. I already told you that it wasn't your fault. So please just forget about it." Pure told her with a small smile in hopes that would calm her down.
Crystal sighed as she looked over at the oversized gazimon. "See Sanoske. Told you he would say something like that." She then turned her attention back to Pure. "Now come on Pure. We both know it's my fault. You even said so yourself back in that bunker. So why are you pretending it isn't now?"

Sanoske watched silently as the siblings talked. However, Pure was trying to calm down Crystal again, and seemingly failing at that. He decided to chime in.
^Pure, while I do admit the inquiry Crystal gave was rather bold, please stop trying to appease your sister. There are some issues pertaining to us, one of which that I had to pull Crystal away from to speak with her about.
For her sake, at least acknowledge what she did and then work together to deal with it. Talk to her. Speak your mind. Do not sweep this under the rug.^

Pure went silent as he gazed at the couple. His mind carefully contemplating what he should say next.
"What do you want me to tell you Crys? That I dislike you for what you had done, because that is far from the truth.
Crys. What you did with that raygun may have been rash and resulted in me being stuck with Mel, but it also gave me back my freedom. For once after all this madness had started, I'm the one in control of my own body again. And if the cost of that is me having to deal with an egotistical hylden for the rest of my life, then it's a price well spent."
Uhh... I'm still right here.
"Now please. Not for just my sake, but your own. Let this go before you tear yourself apart anymore."
"Is that how you really feel?"
"Of course. Why would I lie to you?"
Crystal just remained silent there after hearing all that. She wasn't sure what else to say. This was not at all how she expected this conversation to go. With a sigh, she looked back up at Pure to say, "I guess I was being an over dramatic idiot then. I'm sorry Pure."
"Geez Crys. You have nothing to apologize about. I should have told you all of this earlier. Now stop worrying about me. I'm fine. There's nothing Mel can do without my say so. Well... Except for making not so witty retorts in my head." Pure told them with a confident smile.
Crystal nodded. "Very well, but I promise you this. I will find a way to make your mind and body solely your own once more." And she was serious about this. She will find a way to free her brother from his Hylden roommate.

^Well... all things considered I believe this went quite well.^
Sanoske's grin might have been a bit too large, and he might have realized it a bit too late which caused him to smile less, but he was glad this thing seemed to be over and done with.
The dome quickly faded away to nothing. Lezard was over by Cuttah still, busy talking about something
^Perhaps we should talk to Tab about this when returns. Perhaps he might know something about seperating Mel and Pure.^
(((I had an idea for Cuttah and Mel if you want to do that)))

((Sure))
"Yeah. That sounds like a good idea." Crystal agreed, giving Sanoske a happy smile.
Just so you know. This is kind of part of Celeste's area of expertise. So she could help. Mel's voice chimed in Pure's head. More then willing to find a way separate from what has became his prison now if he's able to.
"That's actually not that bad of an idea." Pure agreed as he turned his attention back to the pair, "Mel says that Celeste could help. Apparently this is part of her area of expertise or something like that."
Crystal gave a small frown at that thought, but nodded anyways. "I guess it's worth a shot." She stated before heading off over to where Cuttah was. Hoping that Celeste would truly be the answer that she was looking for.

"... so there is no reason for me to help you out there. I'm trying to... be more positive."
"Oh, alright. But I thought it would be a good way to pass time. Not only read but to see if you can put your thoughts to paper, so to speak."
"I keep getting told you write scathing book reviews. I don't want to read sucky human books. And I don't want to review them."
"Alright, alright, how about... say, it looks like the others are finished."
The two stood up as the others approached them.
"That was fast. It looks like all went well."
^Pretty much. Sorry to bother you about this, though, but we need to speak with Celeste.^
"Okay. Lezard, they want Celeste back."
Lezard gave a disappointed sigh, but otherwise was fine with it. Cuttah put a hand on the Wizardmon's shoulder, patting it a few times before taking back her hand.
"Celeste? Are you up? They want you again."

((So what did you want the conversation between Mel and Cuttah to be anyways?))
Huh? What? Someone wants me? Celeste's disembodied voiced answered, Could you tell them to wait for a few minutes? I'm currently busy with something.
Crystal took notice that there hasn't been a taletell change in Cuttah's expression yet. Was Celeste refusing to take her over again.
"Cuttah is everything alright?" The Lopmon asked concerned as she took a step closer to the pink gabumon.

(((IT'S A SECRET! But, really, Cuttah just wants to talk to him. Might be good character building)))
Cuttah rubbed her head and horn, offering an annoyed sigh.
"You're busy with something? What are you even busy with? What *can* you be busy with in there?"
^Busy? What exactly is she doing in there?"[/color]
"I hope you're not fiddling around in Cuttah's insides."
Safe to say, they were all surprised that now Celeste was apparently too busy to come out.

Mel seemed pretty annoyed at this as well as he switched places with Pure and stepped forward saying, "Come on Celeste. What on earth can you be so busy with?"
This seemed to be the final nail in the coffin as it were as the groups attempt to goad Celeste proved successful. She gave little warning to Cuttah when she took over, just enough for the pink gabumon to let go control before the hylden's presence would mutate her.
"What is the matter with you people?! Do you not understand what 'I'm busy' means?" She asked angrily as her eyes passed every member of the group. "Do you want to know why I was so busy? Because I was trying to freaking prove Douglas' theory on life. I was nearly successful at it too, but you all had to muck it all up. Now it's going to take me who knows how long before I'm able to just get back to where I was.
"So do any of you want to explain what was so important that you needed my attention this very second?"
Crystal took a step next to her brother's body, looking up at the body of her friend.
"We were hoping to ask your help in separating Pure and your brother here ."
Celeste's eyes focused in on the Terriermon. Massaging her chin as the gears in her mind begin to work. "I don't know." She then finally answer with a simple shrug.

This shift felt more weird to Cuttah as she was relinquished of control of her body, knowing well enough to try not and fight it.
Lezard didn't look perturbed as Celeste-Cuttah eyed everyone. Lezsrd wasn't convinced that she was truly that busy. She hasn't been up for over 42 minutes and now she has some sort of theory she had to test?
But... as long as Cuttah was safe he didn't care. Admittedly, he had to tell himself to calm down a little. Although perhaps Cuttah was maybe right in worrying about Celeste being part of the picture for the time being; she could potentially ruin the moment and require the need to come out.
Sanoske was disappointed to hear that Celeste had no idea how to solve this issue. However he had an idea.
^Well... we still have a couple other digimon we could potentially ask who are really intelligent. There is Burst. And also Karen, although if I remember correctly she lived in the human world, which I can not go to.^
Of course, had Lezard knew what Sanoske said he would have immediately been against it.

((I see what you did there.))
"I doubt either of them would be able to help you much." Celeste stated bluntly as she folder her arms into her chest.
That appeared to be the straw that broke the camel's back as Crystal reached her limit. "What is wrong with you? What do you mean they won't be much help? You don't even know them. They are two of the most ingenious people that I ever met. They were able to help craft a portal that was able to punch a hole into the Hylden realm. So what makes you think they can't help?" The lopmon asked infuriated. She had grown sick of how egocentric these Hyldens are.
Celeste just looked at Crystal for a moment. Then at everyone else in the room. It seemed most of them were displeased about her answer. Even her brother looked to be slightly unnerved by it.
Or is that his host? It was hard to tell.
"Look. I do not doubt that they are some fairly intelligent scientist. The problem is though that there is a reason why I don't know if I can separate Mel and Purr."
"It's Pure." The terriermon corrected.
"Much like how a doctor uses an X-ray to see how a bone is broken, I need to be able to look into their data to see how they are fused together. That way I can see what the problem is and whether or not it can be fixed. Of course this will require something much more complex then a simple x-ray."

Lezard's curiosity was piqued when Celeste referred to "either of them", but as it went on he realized whom they were talking about... Burst and Karen. Lezard had a worried look on his face. He knew about Karen's past and wasn't keen on just potentially revealing it to all of these digimon.
"Karen? I'd advice against... I mean... I do not think she or Burst could help either. Besides, Burst is a mayor and Karen has... other things to take care of. We... we've already asked their help before so soon, right?"
Lezarrd... are you surre? Sanoske spoke out. Lezard could tell that even the large Gazimon was hopeful... optimistic even, that Karen and Burst could help. Even to the point of actually talking, which Lezard forgotten he was capable of doing.
Of course, Lezard, while in no position to fully determine what they can or cannot do, knew at the very least that Karen was capable of making something that would do what Celeste needed. She has done it before. And when it came to entities merging together, well, that's right up Karen and Burst's alley considering both have went through that. At best they could separate Pure and Mel. At worst, they can at least see if it was impossible or not.
We must be surre...
Lezard also had to be careful with his words. Tab also knew about the two, but wasn't sure if he would have Lezard's reservations. Lezard couldn't simply just lie about their capabilities, especially considering they helped build a device capable of allowing travel into the hylden area.
"Just... please, take my word for it."
No. Sanoske stated plainly. I... can't.

There seemed to be a bit of an arguement going on between Sanoske and Lezard. With Sanoske wanting to go to Burst and Karen for help, and with Lezard saying they shouldn't. Neither side seeming to want to back down.
"Lezard I know it's a little inconsiderate to ask for their help so soon after they helped build this portal for us, but what choice do we have. It's not like Celeste here is going to help us." Crystal stated as she sided with Sanoske.
"Who said anything about me not going to help? I already told you that the only reason I can't tell right now is because I don't have the right tools." Celeste pointed out, "Believe it or not, despite how much of a bastard he can be, Mel is my brother and I want to help him. Plus I still kind of owe you all for rescuing me." She turned to look over at Lezard with a small smile. "Well it looks like I now know what I'm going to be doing. Now to just figure out where we can get the parts necessary for the analyzer."

Lezard rubbed his temples and sighed heavily. Some mess he got himself into. He thought about how to deal with this. They were all set on meeting Karen no matter what. So he might as well talk to them about it.
"While Burst is familiar with this sort of thing, indeed more than making a portal, I can give a reasonable doubt that little to none surpass Karen in this field. I do not know if she could separate Mel and Pure, but I know for a fact that Karen has made the means to check.
However... there is a reason why Karen has long since stopped pursuing this sort of thing. I would rather not say why, however. If she says no, please just leave it at that.
Now, if we are to meet up with Karen, it will have to be after Celeste is given her new body. Cuttah has issues with humans and it may not be safe for her to return there with a Hylden inside her. Plus... Rippah and Cuttah aren't the best ones to send to the human world while remaining inconspicuous. Sanoske is out as well.
So, Pure, Crystal... how familiar are you with the human world?"[/blue]

It seemed that the choice was made. Karen was going to be the one the group asks for help. Yet they still faced a couple obstacles in the way. For starters, Karen lived in the human world, which limited the number of people who could go. Then there is apparently some reason why Karen had decided to stop her research, so she was likely to say no to their request.
"Actually I have been..."
"Now wait a second." Celeste interrupted Pure, "You all pull me out here asking for my help. Then when I told you all that I don't know if I can help until I have the right tools, you already are planning to ask some other scientist in another world. Ignoring just about anything I say after. Especially the part where I said I will do it.
Well I can take hint. Don't call for me again."
"Wait... Celeste?"
It was already to late however. Celeste having retreated deep within Cuttah's body. Pretty frustrated at the group as a whole.
Celeste was always a bit of a drama queen. Can't really blame her though. Mel chimed in.
Why's that? Pure asked, worried about the other Hylden.
The lot of you hurt her pride. I already told you that she was a specialist at Hylden and Digimon Biology. Yet when she told you she couldn't immediately help, everyone immediately decided to move next in line without even a hint of hesitation. I expect very few people wouldn't feel at least slightly hurt by that.
