Arrival: The Search begins! (Completed)

Narita Airport. After what felt like almost a week of travel, Amity finally arrived at Narita Airport. Her first instinct upon arrival was to search the entire airport for Lucero. It... wasn't the best of choices. For an easy to navigate airport, it was a surprisingly time consuming affair. This is especially true since really, the only place she should have looked was the arrivals section, and not the rest of the air port.
In the end, the only person she found was the person her new school assigned to be her guide during her stay in Shibuya.
"Well, you took a while," said the guide, "For a minute, I thought you... missed your... flight..." The guide couldn't help but stare for a minute, thinking to herself Oh my gosh, she is tiny! And she's a high school student?! Maybe she's super smart for her age?
Amity couldn't help but stare in surprise. She figured they would have found someone who could communicate with her for her sake, but she didn't expect someone to speak english with such fluency.
"Oh, are you surprise by my english?" the guide said, "English is my specialty. It's why they chose me to be your guide. Don't worry, you'll learn the native tongue in no time, I promise!"
Well, it was a relief the faith this one had in her, but Amity had only one burning question in mind.
"Is someone else here?" She asked immediately.
"Um... who?"
"I have a friend, her name is Lucero, she lives close to Shibuya. She said she was going to meet me here!"
"I'm... sorry, but I was the only one waiting for you. Maybe they just got preoccupied?"
"M-maybe," Amity replied. She sighed. There was no point in telling this one her woes. After all, she needed to get settled in first. "I'll just look for her tomorrow," Amity said with a bright smile, "Lead me to my new prison!"
"That's a funny way to look at it," her tour guide said, "Well let's get you home first and then we can talk about your school schedule and your touring schedule. No doubt you want to see all of Shibuya and some of the neighboring locations."
"I would love that so much!" Amity replied. She sensed a bit of local pride in her guide, and she was aiming to mine it for all it was worth. She always loved hearing about other peoples interests.
"Well, I came walking on my own here, but I think for now we should go by cab. Will you be alright on your own for a little bit, little girl?"
Amity blinked, then giggled to herself. "I'll be fine! I'm a big girl now! I can take care of myself from now on!" She couldn't help it. There was something oddly fun about letting people believe she was younger than she really is.
"Such a brave girl you are! That will serve you well in the strange new world you are about to enter! I'll go call for a cab then! You grab your things and wait for me here!" With that, her tour guide left.
Alone with her thoughts and her luggage, Amity lost in thought about her current situation, arms crossed and leaning against a nearby wall.
Alone, in a place where I don't even known the language other than "which way to the bathroom." My online best friend has gone missing, and I have no leads other than where her Shrine is... and I won't even be able to start until maybe after school tomorrow, assuming I'm going to school tomorrow. At least I'm going to a very busy city. If it turned out to be very wide out... ugh, I don't even want to think about it... Lucy, please be okay. I'm really worried about you...

Man I am so lost right now, was the only thought going through the young looking male who walked around in a area he knew nothing about, talk about getting lost. He has told Shi and Yasuo he was going out to explore but he never thought he would find himself in such a place like this, the outside said something about a airport or something, Yuudai wasn't sure he just knew he was interested in walking around here, maybe someone he knew was here, also what was a airport.
His Holo suit still looked like the same human he always looked like, noticebly wearing the hair in the same braid it was always in, the long red coat and normal clothes he always wore were missing instead replaced with a typical white shirt with the same black pants and black boots. Yuudai slowly hummed a small unknown tune to himself as he walked around glancing around with his golden colured eyes every which way like a tourist.
"Maybe Dante is around here, or maybe Pop, man it has been a while since I've talked to them." the holo suited digital creature lightly scrached the back of his head giving a small sigh as he slowly walked past some young girl with some bags, and then proceeded to seemingly trip over nothing right in front of her and fall flat on his face. Due to his hands being in the pockets of his pants he was sadly unable to catch himself. Smooth Yuudai real smooth.

All she could do to the sight of this was blink. Well, blink and stare anyway. The sight was so bizarre ( and admittedly a little funny) that it felt right out of one of her shows.
I guess people that clumsy really do exist... she thought to herself through several more blinks. I kind of feel embarrassed for the poor guy... I should probably help them up, shouldn't I?
As she reached out and offered a hand to the person who fell, she came to a near devastating realization.
It was all she had to work off of, and she was sure to embarrass herself, but she couldn't just stay silent, could she?
Bracing herself for the worst, she spoke to the person on the ground.
"Sumimasen, demo otearai wa doko desu ka?"
"Excuse me, but where is the washroom?" Oh gosh, I must seem like a total flake now! I'm not sure I even said it right! Now they're gonna think I'm just some random tourist who is just going to be annoying to everyone! Gaaaaah!!! At least it didn't deter her from trying to be of service.

Yuudai looked up before scraching the side of his head again sitting with his legs crossed. In perfect Japanese he quickly responded. "I haven't a clue." Yuudai said cheerful with a smile, he had no idea why she figured she would ask where the bathroom was to the guy who just face planted over nothing.
Once again in Japanese he responded. "Why do you really need to go or something? Should have a sign I know that much." he asked again not knowing that she wouldn't be able to understand what he was talking about.
Taking this chance the blond haired golden eyes guy got up with his normal large from.

And now I'm in trouble... She replied. No wait! I still no a bunch of other Japanese terms! Sort of... maybe I can... use those? Here goes!
After pulling the guy up, she gave the most grateful look she could think of.
"Domo arigatou, Mister Roboto!" She replied ecstatically. I am reduced to referencing random songs and possibly tv shows for any form of Japanese. I'm not even sure what he said. Probably something like "Why are you asking me if I know where the bathroom is when I'm in pain here?! And no, I don't know, find it yourself!"

Yuudai kinda stated at her for a moment before scratching the side of his head. "Uh you're welcome? I'm Yuudai not Roberto." He responded again in Japanese before even he noticed what the girl was going through, he wasn't the sharpest knife but he was still someone who would figure something out. "Oh you couldn't understand me could you." he responded in English actually, since she said mister he was able to deduce it was that language Shi made him learn during his time in America.
"An I right? This is the language correct, either that or I'm making a fool of myself." He said scratching the braid that kept his hair up. Luckily he was forced to go on vacation there for quite a few months.

That got an open mouth stare from her. This whole time, this one could speak English?!
"... now I feel like an idiot," she replied in her own English, "Yes, yes, that is the language! I am so sorry for the confusion! I'm... I'm new here... new and kind of transfer student-y. As you can kind of guess by now... that's the only amount of Japanese I know... so yeah, I'm kind of in trouble if I can't learn the native tongue..."
Since she found someone she could simply talk too, she figured there was no harm in introducing herself.
"Hi! My name is Amity! I'm going to be staying in Shibuya for roughly a year!" she said with a bright smile and a hand held out for a friendly handshake.

Yuudai scrached the side of his head as she gave him a open mouth stare, did he get it wrong? Or did he just happen to shock her with his fabulous different knowledge on languages. Happened to be the second thing.
"Don't worry about it, not like you could just assume the first person you meet knows your language." Yuudai said with a cheerful friendly laugh. "My name is Yuudai, nice to meet you Amity." Yuudai said returning with his normal big grin as he returned the handshake finally recalling what he was supposed to do for those.
"Well let me be one of the first to welcome you here, it's a nice place and all. Lots of stuff to do." Yuudai replied once the handshake was done, he had never met someone like this, he just said what felt right at the time.

"Yuudai, huh?" She repeated, letting the word play out several times in her head. "Kind of makes you sound like a Jedi! Are you secretly some kind of Jedi warrior or some sort of guardian or something?" She played with the idea in her head, imagining Yuudai pulling out some kind of light saber and getting ready to duel.
"Anyway, I'm hoping to be able to fit in here. I'm also hoping to learn more Japanese quickly. Saying 'Which way to the bathroom' is not an ideal ice breaker!"
She now took to circling Yuudai, wanting to take in as many details as she could of the guy. "I like your braid. It makes you look distinguish! And you look very prim and proper in that outfit. You said there was lots to do, right? What kind of things do you enjoy doing?"
This Yuudai seems to be a very curious character, She thought to herself, Learning as much as you can about him before your guide returns... it fills you with determination! I need to stop thinking about Undertale...

Yuudai just smiled, while he didn't know what a Jedi was she wasn't far off the mark there, being a member of DATS and all, but he should really dial that back, he couldn't go around telling everyone he and his brothers were part of that. "Heh, while that would be awesome I'm just Yuudai." he said with a small shrug.
With her saying that Yuudai ended up feeling a tad bit bad, since unlike her him learning this language was automatic, almost scary, came out speaking it really. "I'm sure you'll get the hang of it." he quickly assured her.
Then she started circiling her, his golden eyes didn't follow but he slightly questioned why she was doing that, luckily his answer came soon. "Oh really? Thanks." not many made any comment on that, mostly cause of the people he talked to though, not for any special reason really. "What I like to do?" he repeated crossing his arms, going into thought. "Well mostly just walking around trying to find new people to talk to, always end up finding some interesting characters around here. Other then that there's a place called Cat street that has a cafe and some acrades you can go to. Me and my brother are typically there so I'm mostly playing games or drinking coffee." Yuudai explained thinking a bit more on it.
"Oh yeah there's also some woods near the residential district. If you just want to relax or clear your head that's always been a good spot for me." he said before scratching his head. "There's also a large mall if that's your type of place, oh and just a quick heads up, sometimes people apparently like to try and show tourists a 'Beautiful River' around here, it's quite the opposite so I'd recommend avoiding it." he added remembering what Shi told him before about that place.

This left her ecstatic. She has not even begun her search and already she learned some valuable places to start her search.
Okay, Cat Street... probably sounds crowded... I can search that a little later. The mall might be easier to start my search, get people aware of her disappearance... maybe I'll even find a detective agency! Though really, the forest and the so called "Beautiful River" are suspicious! The forest sounds right up her alley, and with a description like that, it makes me wonder if something happened to her there! If you're not suppose to go, then that just means that people aren't looking there! Perfect place to have secret stuff happen! Either that or it's just an ugly looking dump and this "beautiful river" business is just a local prank.
"To be honest, I can't help but be curious," she admitted honestly, "but if the beautiful river really is as bad as you say then I should probably avoid it."
No point telling him about my woes either. If he were a cop, maybe, but until I start my search I don't wanna cause unnecessary stress. I wanna make a good first impression first before making myself into a desperate friend looking for a friend.
"So, where can I find these places? The forest especially! I have a friend who likes nature-y stuff, so I might find something nice for her there!"

Yuudai scrached his head for a second. "Well let's see cat street is located to the north in the northern district. Of your friend is interested in nature there is also a park in that district. Takes up a large area so can't miss it really." Yuudai explained quickly recalling the area again. "The cemetery is also located in that district so I'd say try and avoid it, it can be pretty creepy." he warned.
"The forest is in the western district, to the west of course. Its around both of the housing districts so it's pretty safe to walk in. Lastly the river is located in the central district. I used beautiful river but sadly it's a garbage dump now." there was another reason Yuudai was trying to keep her from there but he figured he shouldn't say it less she ask questions.
"The mall is located downtown, it's normally busy but you might be able to get there early or late there might not be many people." Yuudai ended.

A cemetery? She keeps talking about ghosts and spirits. That could be another good place to... but it's probably in a wide open space... I'll probably search there much later... Seems like the forest is gonna be the first place I head to. Good to know that the forests are likely gonna be close to wherever I live.
"A dump... good to know," She replied, "Definitely avoiding that place. As in definitely searching it later. All the more reason to go someplace like that! Dumps are a great place to hide things! Wait, it's actually a dump?!
"Hold on, did you say it's actually a dump?! Dude, I called it and I didn't even realize it..."

Yuudai nodded. "Yeah it's apparently a local prank to tell people just visiting that it's a beautiful river, I don't really understand it myself." Yuudai said not noticing she said she called it, he must of not noticed. But he wondered if that was going to go there or not, maybe he should ask Shi to visit there sometime just to be sure.
"So, with this knowledge do you have a place in mind you'll want to visit? Just curious." Yuudai asked considering she asked the locations of places, as Yasuo said just gathering some info wouldn't be that bad.

Well... I suppose I can afford to be a little honest with him. He's being so nice so far, after all.
"Actually, I'm hoping to find a friend," she replied, rummaging through her bags to pull out her 3DS. "She lives around Shibuya somewhere, and I was hoping to catch up to her. She's a very spiritual type of person, so I figure places that would be good for spiritual stuff would be a good place to try and start. Oh wait! She lives in a shrine! You wouldn't happen to know of a Kawashiki Shrine, would you? I think the other name it goes by is the 'Singing Frog' Shrine, because according to her, at night, the frogs croaking almost sounds like singing."
