Dust gave another glance to the stuff as Eva explained what it was. But then why was she stabbed by the attack if it hardens? Dust figured it had a lacking response time to things like that, after all he doubted humans would think their project would go up against something that would be using something primitive like a spear. "Alright then." Dust said deciding not to further questions on it.
Dust gave a small shrug. "I took some damage but I managed to get a few good hits in so I'm fine." Dust said glancing over to the champion that walked away with Hackmon, good thing Eva didn't attack. "Though I should explain, when I hit people a small part of the attack takes away the data from my opponent and adds it to my own, essentially healing me as I fight, so as long as I don't keep getting hit I'm fine." Dust decided to say just in case she asked what he meant by it.
Luna saw the stance she took, and left then sighed. "Yeah, he just hangs out with us a lot." she added.

"So what... You're some sort of vampire?" she asked, in a deadpan tone. "So. Sentient armed chess pieces and digital Draculas. What the hell else is going to happen today?"
Eva shook her head. If she was just told of this, without actually seeing it with her own eyes, she would have simply thought that the person saying this was stark raving mad. She looked like she was about to say something else, before being interrupted by some sort of overheat in her left arm, the augment smoking and reeking of burnt electrics.
"Damnit! Ugh... Power management system's going haywire.".

Dust gave a small shrug. "Not exactly sure what that is, but if you say so." was he a vampire, depends on what that was. Apparently something that heals itself as it hurts other things. Maybe it wouldn't be the best idea to tell Eva about his power extender, telling someone your body gets stronger the more people you are fighting at the same time just would sound crazy.
Dust mumbled a small curse under his breath as he looked at Eva. "Anything we can do to help?" Dust questioned not knowing what he could do, Luna's healing didn't work. He doubted his Ultimate level one would work also, and he had no idea how bad this was.

"I don't know. It's..." She shook her head, giving a panel on her arm a good slap, which seemed to stop the smoke. "I think my other systems are trying to activate, but... they're not booting up properly." She just shrugs. "Maybe we should get out of here, in case something more important decides to malfunction. If these glitches keep up, it might end up leaving me paralysed until I can fix this, for all I know."

Dust had to wonder how slapping it stopped that, maybe something was displaced and that slap put it back where it was supposed to go? If so that was a very well timed slap. "That might be for the best." Dust agreed, though for another reason, usually when someone attacked him more weren't far behind, either that or the Omnimon that had been bothering him might show up again. That would be super bad.
Luna scrached the side of her head not sure if anything going on really. "Alright then, want to go back to the human world then Eva? It might be safer then here, more places to hide and repair yourself then in the digital world." Luna suggested, she was right to a point. She also asked since she was unsure if she thought Dust and Luna had a place here she could stay, which was a resounding no since sistermon was mad at them Now.

"Probably for the best. Yeah. What the..." Eva's eye shields suddenly clicked back into place, before her right hand snapped down, sitting unnaturally against her wrist, revealing the barrel of some sort of weapon.
Thinking fast, she aimed the thing up and away from everyone else, before... CRACK! the thing fired! It was clearly some sort of weapon, a bloody powerful one at that, the beam a visible bright blue as it ionised the air! Eva quickly manually put her hand back into place, managing to de-activate the weapon.
"... Ooookay... That... That thing wasn't working before and... It still isn't according to my HUD. Why the hell did it activate?"

Dust kinda just watched as the wrist revealed some large weapon, he stared at it alongside Luna as it was pointed up and fired into the air with a very loud noise. Well Luckily she had enough sense to point it away from the two digimon, Dust had no idea if that would hurt him or not, judging by the sound he would assume at least a little if not a lot more.
Dust and Luna both gave a shrug neither one knowing exactly what happened there. Nor what that was aside from some sort of laser. "I, have no idea. Judging by your tone this doesn't happen often does it?" How often do you randomly shoot lasers from your wrist?
Luna on the other hand had a theory. "Maybe it felt the need to show off the fact you have lasers. Or something I dunno what a HUD even is"

"That has -never- happened before. I knew I had it, it's a prototype multipurpose laser. Can cut through debris, shoot down missiles and with the right configuration be used as a weapon, but, a lot of my systems haven't been working since I got out of the UK. that one included."
She shook her head. "Why would a weapon feel the need to "show off"?" she air quoted at the "show off" part. "And a HUD is short for "heads up display". Readouts from my systems, maps, all that, it's all right in my vision, almost like a computer screen, but well, transparent. And always visible."

Dust mearly sighed thinking on it with his arms crossed. "Could it be part of your backup systems powering up something in the wrong order? Maybe something glitched and powered it up." Dust suggested, he didn't know if she had ever taken heavy damage like that before, who knows could be possible.
Luna simply shrugged, after all Eva had no reason it could be working right now. So who knows maybe the systems or whatever in her body had decided to fire the laser for no reason, either that or with that malfunction thing or whatever. Ya that made more sense. Silly Luna. "I dunno, like I said I really don't know this complicated stuff, can hardly figure out most human stuff."
Luna looked at Eva then at Dust. "Hey if you have a map on that thing does it also show people around you, if so can you see Dust on the map?" Luna questioned knowing she had a hard time finding Dust herself, so she wanted to know for sure.

"Yeah, something's certainly trying to re-activate things. And no. My maps are from already existing images and data, they don't dynamically respond to people's movements. Although, my optics have thermal imaging, that's useful for tracking. Hang on a second..."" She paused for a moment, before speaking up again. "One of my readouts is saying "autorepair initialising". It's... Gah!"
She winced and bent over, but the ruptured dragonskin armour seemed to start to slowly knit itself back together, closing and regenerating in an almost biological manner. Even the large scratch in the arm casing seemed to start buffing itself out, the sleek, smooth finish starting to return.
She stopped to catch her breath, still apparently in a lot of pain. "Bloody hell... Yeah... that's, repairing stuff, I think. And... she flicked through a few menus and readouts on her HUD, trying to confirm her suspicions. "Looks like I have several systems repairing and rebooting. The P.D.F.L.S, which is the laser, and the "punisher close combat system"."

Dust and Luna both just watched Eva fall in pain, again. It would appear this was a normal occurrence after taking some heavy damage, didn't seem like the best idea to make it horrible painful for the one healing but hey, Dust had no idea how Humans thought things through, maybe like Eva said some of the scientists were plenty messed up.
"Well it's good it's rebooting. That laser seems like it would be plenty useful." Dust commented not knowing what the punisher was, obviously it had to do with close combat but hey he didn't know much about anything.
Luna was still on the maps thing though. Sounded really useful, sadly even with this she would still most likely end up lost.

"Shouldn't be hurting this much... Bloody hell." She sighed, shaking her head. "Nothing's been working right since leaving the UK." Eva rolled her shoulders, a slight whirr accompanying the movement. "So uh... anywhere you want to go next? I think I'm okay."

Dust gave a small shrug, he had no idea why that would be hurting at all. "Oh, well maybe actually going into the city, we're still just on the train station, and the train I flew into had been giving me the evil eye since Luna said sorry." Dust said looking over his shoulder at the trailmon who was just staring at Dust, a very evil stare by the dent in his side the size of a Beelzemon.
"After that if you're still up for it there's a lot of places to go. The cold north, the desert to the west, the forest in the east or the beach in the south." Dust said deciding to hand the choice over to Eva, he didn't know if she could handle heat or cold as well as Dust or Luna.

That train was indeed glaring at them. Why was a train glaring? Why did a train have eyes? Why was there a living train!? She looked to the trailmon, then back to the group, then back to the trailmon, and finally back to Dust and Luna once more, looking somewhat confused. "... The train is a digimon? There are... vehicle digimon?"
"You must be new here."
This loud booming voice from a -train- of all things nearly made Eva jump out of her skin. She span around to face the talking vehicle. "Uuuuh..." Eva didn't seem to know what to say. Her mind had just been well and truly blown.
"You shouldn't be so surprised."
"Why not? Here I am, in a completely unknown world, full of... hostile chess pieces and talking trains! What's next? Is a damn toaster going to try and start a conversation over a light breakfast?"
The Trailmon seemed somewhat amused by this, although when he spoke next his voice had a tinge of concern in it.
"You're a digimon, yet, you didn't know about the digital world, and you have an evolution I've never seen before. And I've been around -a lot-. I mean. I'm a train. I see things. What happened to you?"
"It's uh... complicated."

Dust and Luna just gave a nod as if this was the most common thing in the world for them. "Oh ya, forgot to tell you about that." Dust calmly replied scraching the side of his head. Maybe it would of been better to explain that before rather then allow the train to start talking to her and most likely almost scare her half to death, eh to little to late.
Luna just let out a small laugh at Eva's small freak out. "Don't be silly, there's no talking toaster." Dust kinda just tapped Luna once on the head knowing full well she missed the point of trains don't talk in the human world why shouldn't anything else here.
"Yeah very complicated." Luna agreed while having no idea what was going on with that, all she knew is this Eva had some weird menus, lasers and the ability to not get healed.
