Shi noticed the apology before sighing "It's fine, don't worry about it." what did Shi mean by that though, the hug or the house, cause he honestly wasn't that ok with his house being as it is now, he really liked knowing where his stuff was and not having to assume that a licked his dishes, he has to eat off of those things.
With the sister thing he shrugged. "He said a little lady, I would ask but she's asleep right now." but with the breaking thing Shi thought about it for a moment. "Well, he technically didn't break anything." Shi said looking at the rookie. "He did however do something with my homework, but that's fine. I was going to pretend not to see it anyway." He said deciding it was for the best, also maybe the lightbulb thing should best be forgoten.
Then Kuu made some claims which were kinda true, except the end right there. "I did just get out, no one else knows I'm awake and about, not even Yuudai or Yasuo." Shi said before deciding to ease the death thing. "I didn't almost die, I was in bad shape and unconscious the whole time, I was told there was a hiccup or two but everything ended up alright." Shi said starting to get his composure back, as seen by him able to explain.

Kuu nodded rapidly, repeating, "a little lady!" What a nice little lady she was, too! Not that he knew her name or anything, but she was still little-r than adults! And females were ladies, right? So, proper descriptors!
Technically was never a good word. Especially when used with Kuu in mind. Anyone like the little monster was capable of making a 'technically' into a, 'did everything except for the one thing mentioned.' But, what was this about homework? "You didn't," the girl immediately accused the fox.
With a small snicker, the rookie flailed himself about, "I ate most of it! I knew you'd be proud!" Proud wasn't quite the word that the tamer was going for here, as she let out a small groan. At least Shi didn't seem to mad about it. This was all kind of awful, after all!
"I can't pay for your homework, but if you need anything replaced," Maia trailed off, thinking about if she was going to have to ask her parents for money, or if she had enough saved up for the damages a stupid fox could have caused, "I'll pay for you to get it fixed." It wasn't like she could fix anything herself. And, if anyone knew what kind of sock-fiend Kuu could be, it was Maia. Sometimes, those things got expensive to replace after a while! "Just, uh, make sure to check under your bed and in cabinets before you buy new things." Words of wisdom.
With a small puff, the fox shook his head, "no, I ate most of it." That didn't help the situation! How did something not die from consuming all of the mysterious objects that he did?
At least it seemed that Shi didn't actually almost die, though it didn't sound like it was too much better than that. "Hiccup?" That was never a promising term, either! It really started to look like Shi just had some really bad luck. Maybe, tamers were cursed or something. Either way, she didn't want to press the situation in the case that Shi didn't want to talk about it. After all, he probably just really wanted some peace and quiet. "Well, I'm glad you're alright now, at least." That was a sincere enough statement, right? On top of that, since he mentioned Yasuo and Yuudai, they must be fine now, too. So, there was nothing to worry about! For now, at least.

Wait he ate it? "Wait you ate it?" Shi asked as soon as that thought crossed his mind, he wouldn't of assumed that he actually ate his homework, like just. Why it was paper, paper doesn't taste good, tnot that Shi knows from experience. "I never would of thought I could say. 'My friends fox ate my homework.'" Shi said a bit shocked at that statement itself.
Shi was glad she was willing to pay for it, though the fox said he ate most of it, how wasn't he dead if he ate most of his stuff? Honestly if Shi was more curious he would ask just how exactly the fox ate all that stuff. "Don't worry, it's fine you don't have to pay for anything, he stayed away from the expensive stuff luckily. To my knowledge at least." Shi said eyeing the fox, he didn't check his laptop yet or his sister's room, but he most likely wouldn't charge Maia anyway, and he couldn't charge Kuu who didn't have money at all.
"Not my own words but Something about a nerd and a Limo, and a girl climbing in through my window. That's all the nurse knew." Shi said when she repeated the hiccup, wasn't one with him just something that happened, if the girl was trying to kill him or the nerd Shi didnt know. "I'm glad I'm alright also, felt weird waking up somewhere else." Shi said more or less just thinking about it himself.

Kuu nodded again, to repeat, "I ate it." While the paper was pretty gross, it was a sacrifice the Digimon was willing to make! Nobody liked homework! Not even Kuu! Or, really, especially not Kuu! It distracted Maia from play time! "I helped a lot!"
To this, there was another groan from his tamer, who mumbled a sarcastic, "yes, I'm sure this is what everyone wants." Why did the Digimon have to be so destructive? Why couldn't Kuu have been born a quiet, actually helpful Digimon, instead? Maia was going to have to try to teach him what wasn't labeled as helpful, yet again.
It was definitely a relief to the tamer that Shi wasn't going to make her pay for any of it, but she still felt pretty bad. Living with Kuu painted more than a perfect image of the problems he could cause when left unattended in a house. One would think that Shi's sister would have stopped him, or something, but apparently that just didn't happen. Kuu did seem to have a way with the younger crowd, though Maia wasn't entirely sure how old Shi's sister actually was. She'd just chalk it up to the white monster being a 'cute fox' or something.
Okay, so that was a really weird hiccup to have. At least it wasn't medical related, but Maia wasn't entirely sure if it was honestly a better kind of 'hiccup'. "A girl climbed in your window?" That seemed like a good point to tease Shi about! "What, do you have an admirer?" While the concern was there, there was no way that Maia could pass up a chance to joke about Shi having a stalker. With any luck, it wouldn't be anything serious.
"But, the big question!" Kuu was quick to jump into the topic, "Why did you get put in the hospital? Oh! And what's a nerd? And a limo?"

Shi simply sighed shaking his head at Kuu's response. "Yes you really, really helped. Now never do it again." Shi quickly said, he didn't want Kuu to try and come back when Shi fixes the place up, you can only have your light bulbs buried so many times before you give up and learn to see in the dark, and wow he had to point out the strangeness yet the correctness of that thought process right there.
With the tease from Maia Shi nearly groaned. "Horray, what I've always wanted a stalker." he muttered sarcastically. "Apparently she helped get the nerd to go away? Along with Yuudai and Yasuo, kept announcing herself as Luna or something." Shi said pulling something from his pocket and showing Maia, it was his old digivice, or what was left as it was smashed to pieces. "I woke up and my digivice was like this, apparently the nerd stole something off it and then smashed it into dust." Shi explained, quite the bad hiccup to have.
With the questions Kuu asked, it was basic enough. "I had to go because I was hurt pretty badly, and a nerd is someone who likes homework. And think long metal vehicle." Shi answered the fox figuring that was the best response.

Not picking up on the tone, Kuu clapped his paws together, before making several gestures to the house. "Yay! I'm appreciated!" Man, Shi even liked his idea with the light bulbs? This was perfect! Now, if only Maia would agree to the arrangement! Nobody liked those bright, buzzy things, anyway! That, and Kuu always wanted to eat them. If he couldn't eat them, nobody could have them!
Maia still found herself smirking at the thought of Shi having a stalker. Really, he seemed to have some pretty bad luck. Maybe it was just a tamer thing. After all, if they put their checklists together, it probably made a pretty good compilation of 'Things Nobody Wants to Deal With in Their Life.' Not that Maia was actually keeping a checklist. But, the name that was dropped caught her interest. "Luna, huh? Strange name," she pointed out, throwing a glance at Kuu.
Somehow, Kuu actually picked up on this cue, piping in with, "we know a Digimon named Luna!" Not that they had seen her in quite some time. But, that gave some hope that if Luna was wearing a holosuit and in the human world, that could mean Dust was still well and alive, as well. Then again, it was still a possibility that there was just a random girl with the same name.
The tamer found herself cringing a little at the state of the digivice. "That looks incredibly unusable," she pointed out. Of course, that was pretty obvious. "Any idea of what was stolen?" Given, Shi seemed to be unconscious during that part of the story, from what she could tell. Unless a witness that could identify a digivice had been present, he probably had no idea.
With the explanations, though, Kuu only found himself sniffing at the ground, casually. "Humans are too squishy."

Shi just rolled his eyes at the fox. "Yes, appreciate, not the word I'd use but whatever." More like strangle, I'm strangled would be what Kuu was saying if Shi was a not so nice person, he was but he wasn't about to strangle Maia's partner in front of her, no matter how much he assumed she wished to do the same on a daily bases.
Apparently Kuu knew a digimon named Luna, either more parents don't like their kids and give them names like death and moon, or it was the same one. "Great digimon stalker, as if I didn't have enough of those." Shi said going along with the stalker thing, it was pretty funny since he was pretty sure no one would, at least he hoped not that would be very creepy.
Instead of a thanks captain obvious look Shi mearly gave as much of a serious face as possibly as she asked what was stolen. "Hold on, let me check." Shi said as he sarcastically pressed the broken buttons and looked at the screen before shaking his head. "Nope still broken." he pointed out putting the device back in his pocket, even broken shouldn't leave it on the street.
"Let's just be glad it was a Mega who took me down and not a rookie, phrasing it like that makes it seem like I put up a actual fight." Shi slightly joked, yeah humans were squishy but not many survived a Mega, even if it was his own partners doing the said stabbing.

Kuu was incredibly lucky that it seemed most people tolerated him quite well. Even his tamer put up with the horrible antics of the fox on a daily basis without murdering him! Now, to say that nobody ever wanted to... well... that could be a lie.
"Digimon-stalking, the highest form of flattery," the tamer teased. Hopefully, he didn't actually have a stalker, but if it was the Luna that she knew, it was really hard to say what that crazy Digimon was up to! Really, Maia was just hoping that Dust was somewhere behind-the-scenes during all of that. She hadn't seen him in far too long!
Eyes seemed to go dull, watching the serious expression, inquiring in a deadpan tone "have you tried turning it off and then back on again?" Ah, the best tech suggestion someone could give! Of course, Maia wasn't even slightly serious about it. "If I knew more about digivices, I'd take a look at it," the girl shrugged, with a sigh. "But, I'd rather not risk screwing it up more," there was a hesitation, "if that's even possible." That digivice was probably out of commission permanently, really. Shi had awful luck with those things!
At least he had a good way of looking at the entire ordeal. "I guess. But, I hope nobody told the hospital that, when you were admitted?" Maia remembered when Kai had been hospitalized, they had tried to essentially interrogate him about his strange wounds. Though, Shi's wasn't quite the same as a giant dog-bite puncturing lungs, it was still pretty rough, she imagined!

The highest form of flattery, ha. "Guess I should count that towards my endless stream of luck with this digimon thing." Shi replied, it was obvious sarcasm, he would have to assume he was the most unlucky with these things, but he had non to compare to, everyone he met seemed to have him saving them so that was a plus.
Shi once again messed around with the digivice before shaking his head. "Nope, still dead." he replied still deadpan as if he was actually thinking he could repair this. With that repairing thing Shi simply shrugged. "I would assume that's impossible, well I mean it could always be on fire, that would be worse." he pointed out, on fire stuff was bad.
With that hospital mark again in his normal emotionless tone calmly said. "Told them the truth, digimon, Dragon men digivice everything." he said before telling the truth. "Most of the wounds were chalked up to previous injuries they missed opening up again, like the one on my back. The scar on my face was reported as a knife apparently since how fine the cut was, technically not untrue." Shi explained, he got lucky though.

"I don't know," the girl shrugged, thinking about it. "I think you've got the whole Digimon thing down, at least better than I do." To give proof, she made a motion to where Kuu was. Yes, was. Where he had gone was completely beyond her, but she had noticed that the monster had gone silent, and was given a good tip from that, alone. Everyone knew Kuu couldn't keep quiet for more than a minute or two!
Of course, Kuu had disappeared back into the house to do who-knows what. But, it probably wasn't going to be good for Shi's sake. At least it didn't seem like there was much left for him to ruin! ...If that could be deemed a plus side was pretty in question, though.
"Maybe fire would fix it. Digital things are weird, after all," Maia added, with a shrug. Casually, she tried to spot any glimpse of the white fox in the dark house, but it didn't seem there was much luck. Especially since she was still standing on Shi's doorstep, and had barely seen Kuu to begin with. Still, she wanted to try to avoid causing any further irritation by the poor tamer that had a guest while he was gone. "Wait, your scar opened up again?" That mark had looked pretty bad, when she'd seen it briefly before. If it had actually re-opened could lead to further concern. But, there was a chance that it was just a decent excuse.

Shi looked to where Maia was pointed, and to where the Fox was before, well then that was a bit of proof in her claim, but unlike him she had never gotten her partner to go on a crazy rampage and destroy some of a city and stab her, though he really didn't want to bring that part up right now. "I see your point, but to be fair. Kuu is much different then other digimon I've met." Shi pointed out, most were calm or a bit crazy like Yuudai, Kuu was in his own league though.
"Considering both of my partners set things on fire maybe?" Shi said not wanting to try it out now, for obvious reasons. With the scar thing Shi shrugged. "It was more or less a lie, wouldn't think I'd be glad to have a wound on my back to lie to the hospital." Shi said, but he knew he got lucky.
Inside the house however something was going on. Through the window near the back of the house it silently opened as one small dinosaur digimon slowly hopped through. It was Yuudai who sat there pulling up his brother. "Remind me again why we showed off these forms?" Yuudai asked as he and Yasuo fell making a lot of noise. "Because you're a idiot and I'm easily convinced." he said in a small amount of pain from falling.

Maia really couldn't deny that. "Kuu is," she hesitated, "definitely different." Why did she get a faulty model of Kudamon? While everyone else got neat cats, or helpful dinosaurs, she got an absolutely insane fox. How did Maia draw the short stick here? Sure, crazy could be fun, but this was on a completely different level!
"I'm just glad you're alive," she admitted, with a slight shrug. Lie or no, it kept Shi in a relatively safe hospital bed, and gave him enough time to heal. "I feel kind of bad for not visiting you in the hospital, though." Not that the girl had much choice! And, did she even know Shi's last name? She might not have actually been able to find his room! Also, there wasn't much point in visiting an unconscious person, was there? It sounded like he had plenty of company, anyway.
While Kuu had initially been planning on going to make sure that all the light bulbs were properly disposed of, instead he heard a loud sound that had caught his attention. The little fox veered off-course to investigate. Was it a robber?
Oh, no, it was just dinosaurs.
"Hi, guys!" the Rookie waved, trying to figure out why the heck they had chosen to enter through the window. At least they should be big enough to use doors, right?

Shi also had to wonder why that happened as it did, and what the twins and why they were twins. Did whatever decide this just have a sense of humor or was it like the lottery or something? Shi would assume it was because why not? Dinosaurs, twins, foxes. Why not?
With the visit thing Shi mearly shrugged. "Don't worry, not a lot of help it does visiting someone who's passed out, I'm sure you had better things to do then visit some unconscious teenager." Shi didn't say it to be rude, quite the contrary in fact. "Spekaing of which what have you been up to lately?" Shi figured he would ask, current events and all.
Yasuo looked up at Kuu before signing looking up at the ceiling. "We aren't in Maia's house are we?" He asked as Yuudai looked up. "Hey Kuu, what are you doing here?" the agumon asked, both did since they saw someone at the door, and that was no good if they accidental saw, despite the fact the twins didn't get a good look at all.

Well, at least it didn't seem that Shi cared much about her inability to visit. But, the excuse of what she had been doing otherwise was a little embarrassing. "Yeah, about that," Maia glanced around, "My mom met Kuu." Of course, Kuu couldn't make any situation better. Proven by Shi's lack of light bulbs in the house. "And, since I wasn't willing to get rid of him, I may have gotten grounded." A seventeen year old. Getting grounded. Yes, a very adult thing to happen.
She was just going to leave out the part where her mom was swearing up and down that a talking fox definitely meant that Digimon was just a different word for Evil Demon.
"Happened right after we last saw you, so I'm afraid I'm just as out of the loop as you might be." It was kind of a shame that Shi had been unconscious! Maia really could have used someone to catch her up on everything going on, both in this world and Digital.
Why would they think they were in Maia's house? This smelled nothing like the Quinn household! Kuu found himself giggling at the question. "I've been helping!" Hopefully, at least one of the dinosaurs would appreciate his efforts! "Did you guys know, you live down the street from Maia? I could have sleepovers with you!" Actually, no, he couldn't. Because Maia would never let him leave the house by himself for an entire night! That would just be stupid! Not to mention, he probably wasn't going to be invited over here ever again.

Shi heard what Maia said, before he simply let out a small laugh, not directed at Maia by any means though. "Heh so a parent found out, sorry to laugh but it's kinda funny since even mine don't know, outside my sister no one else knows about Yuudai or Yasuo, and that was only because Yuudai thought it would be a wonderful idea to show her how Greymon looks." Shi pointed out always wondering why Yuudai felt the need to show that form off, granted the fact it was during a battle wasn't grand but Maia didn't need to know he led her to a battleground in the human world on accident.
"Though I would have to admit mine might be worse if they do, since they're normally in their Holo suits, and I don't want to explain what I'm doing with two teenage blonds in my closet, would rather them be digimon form and to be honest, that feels easier to explain." since Shi never gets out, never had friends or even girls talking to him, he could easily assume what his parents would think. Shi was more or less saying this to make Maia feel better about being grounded, and show his partners could be bad, though never Kuu bad. Enough to steal light bulbs.
"So we're both out of the loop, don't know if I should feel glad I haven't had the joy of rushing down and bailing people out of danger or not." Been a while since Shi played the hero, he did add that last part sarcastically though.
Yuudai and Yasuo get up looking at Kuu and around the house. "Nah Yasuo this is our place, since I'm pretty sure everything looks the same as when we left, if not more bare?" Yuudai asked looking around, it wasn't messy before, but there seemed to be a large lack of stuff around here. "Oh we do? That's awesome, and sounds like a lot of fun." oh poor Yuudai, who doesn't know yet what Kuu has done, blindly happy.
"Yasuo on the other hand was more concerned with the fact that Shi's parents could be here, but he assumed Maia was one of the people they saw, was she checking up on Shi? "Kuu, who's at the door?" Yasuo asked figuring he would know, after all the Fox knew nothing about being still, Yasuo assumed he would of gone and taken a look, if not ask the person at the door to be friends.
