"Here?" Ryu asked. His eyes looked at the empty training ground. Currently, for some reason, he's in his Slayerdramon form. Ryouta nodded, having followed the two, very specific signal to this place. The words that Yuu said... actually struck his nerve. He chuckled in a rather dark way. It's true, he's probably dragged by that sort of past, but... This time, he's sure that he'll drag that past now. So I guess basically I just need to grow balls, huh? What about being suicidal? I somehow felt like it today. There's no one who will go down. If there's anyone who'll go down today, that's not me, not Ryu.
"Hey, I know you guys are here. Why don't you show yourselves?" he suddenly said. Flickering and flickering, four figures appeared in front of him. They're not that different. One boy even more scarred than he is, and another boy is less scarred than he is, but his eyes are empty. One represent hope, yet hardened resolve, another represents despair, but desire for absolute justice... what about his own?
...Well... it was to accept them both.
"...So looks like you've found your answer?" the former one, the one that looked the most like him asked. It's weird when you're talking with the other possibility of your future, but here he is. He's the one that represent whatever happened if he started being too soft in his pursuit on justice. Such boy, his justice was ruthless, but at the same time, it was forgiving. He's the other him who have lost almost everything, but still hoped that there will be a time where he could be happy.
"I do. I'll define my own path."
"Even when your family is at stake, Mana at stake, and even your entire friends at stake with how your action would be? You know that the road will never end for you. Violence birthed vengeance, vengeance birthed another one, a cycle of nonsense, all aimed at yourself. The more you act on your view, the more people who are oppressed distaste it. And if they're gone too far, and you judged them for it, people around you would distaste your action. In the end what you love will be your unbecoming. You know you have to cut ties to your past and start anew," the one with the empty eyes said.
"No," Ryouta shook his head clearly. "...The way you said it was so depressing. It's like you're not allowing yourself to be loved. There's nothing wrong to be weak, there's nothing wrong to depend on someone... Many doesn't want us to be demon for them, but when it's necessary, it's necessary. Our heart bleeds too much, and you all know it. We're just trying to make excuses for our action."
He turned to his left, where the battle hardened Ryouta stood. "You tried to taught me to act when it's important, but your view is to eliminate the source of evil immediately. I can't say it's wrong, especially after what happened. Your first suggestion is to end Charles out of his misery back then, but is that really right? To give a coup de grace to someone who is that destroyed?"
"Hmmm, so you're saying, a necessary kill is still cruel?"
"Nah, I'm saying that there's still some way. Necessary kills, I'm willing to bear that burden for the rest of my life, but... it's still unfair if you're doing it when they're partially not at fault.
"However, that child cannot control his inner spirit, therefore he's in trouble to begin with. Rather than having him cause more destruction, why don't you just end it all? To me it felt like he want to die."
"And who are you to judge that? I've finally find my answer. It's neither of your ruthlessness, or your for greater good. I'll eventually carve my own path, my own way... Justice is subjective. What's just for one isn't necessarily just for another. Therefore, I shall impose it not as how I saw it fit immediately, without any care for how they feel about it. I'm not someone important, I'm just someone out of many who tried to help."
"I see, so that's your answer? What will you do to the two of us, then?" the one of his left said, his Dracomon replaced with Breakdramon. on the other side, his Dracomon also changed to Slayerdramon, but with far bulkier armor.
"...I'll prove to you, that weakness isn't a bad thing. Flaw isn't bad either. But doing wrong thing all the way until it get too saturated doesn't mean you're right. Casting what you perceive as your weakness off actually would make you even more fragile than you think when you're hit on your weak spot. Meanwhile, protecting what's too important to you and shoulder it all alone is also stupid. Have faith, everyone have their own strength and weakness."
"...Hoh... but then, are you that confident you can win?"
"I WILL win."
Three burst of digital shockwave shook the entire training ground, revealing three teens in their respective armatization form. One wearing assasin like garb, another in very bulky, heavy duty Breakdramon-based armor, and another in knightly armor that looks like a crusader. Fight broke out almost immediately.
