Colin's twins seemed rather...rambunctious. That seemed like fun to Marshal! Coronamon could be a stick in the mud, sometimes.
"Yeah, Digivices are kinda weird," Marshal agreed. "We still don't know entirely what these things can do completely. They might have some features that no one has ever used before! I think that's pretty cool, don't you?"
Getting slightly bored, Coronamon went over to interact with Luke and Bellamy. "Hello there," he said, smiling.

Colin gave a nervous chuckle as he saw that if anything, Kyo looked slightly more threatening in her In-training form, what with the double set of large pointy teeth in her large mouth. Luke and Bellamy knew better than to underestimate the power of a Rookie though, they both knew what it was like.
He then read that the digivice was extremely powerful and valuable. Colin looked at it with slightly widened eyes, suddenly gripping it with a lot more care. "Ohh, I see" he said. "Well then, I'll take good care of it"
"Yeah, we hope so" Bellamy said. "We wouldn't want ya to end up droppin' it or get it nabbed off ya if we've got some bandits wailin' on our butts"
Colin could think of little more to say to this other than "meep" so, he didn't open his mouth. Fortunately, the digivices had a much more benign function - simply scanning a digimon for informatin. Yuu invited him to, so Colin scanned each digimon one-by-one in his surroundings.
"Wanyamon. The in-training form of many beast-type digimon. Normally blue in colour, but this one appears to be red for reasons unknown. 57% chance this reason could be 'He thinks he's a special snowflake""
"Hey! I can't help what freakin' colour I am!" Wanyamon snapped, glaring at the device as Bellamy snickered. Colin scanned him next.
"Yaamon. Likes to be played with as he is bouncy, but said games usually involve an excuse for him to bite things. Do not hand feed"
"Aw, I can't have any fun can I?" Bellamy pouted. Next to be scanned was Kyo.
"Tokomon-X. Many other in-training levels who have encountered her underestimate her due to her cuteness. The last thing those foolish enough to threaten her see are her detached jaw with double rowed teeth. Again. Hand-feeding is not advised."
"Noted." said Colin. And that left the last digimon, he hoped that Marshal and Coronamon wouldn't mind.
"Coronamon. Pros. No need for cigarette lighters or oven ignition sparks. Cons. Do not take him into areas with dry grass or gas leaks".
"This thing is starting to sound like a sales catalogue" Colin remarked.
Luke and Bellamy meanwhile looked up at Coronamon as he approached.
"Heya" Bellamy said, the Yaamon smiling up at him. "So how's this human partner business like for you? Got any advice for dealin' with humans?"
Luke was kind of interested to know as well. Although the Wanyamon gave a look at Kyo too in case she could answer that question as well.

Yuu couldn't but to silently chuckle at Colin's digivice descriptions. Sounded like the thing had quite the personality; at least it'd be quite fun at parties.
Kyo, however, didn't seem to be as keen as her partner when the device spat out her description.
"Hey, man! That's as rude as it can get! I've never bitten anybody's hand off! It was a feet, and it was just once! Well, five times, rather, but that's straying off topic!"
Of course she hadn't taken that thing too seriously, because she was all too focused on her current meal, but the nerve! She'd probably chomp the Digivice's hand if it had one.
Onto happier topics, however, when Bellamy asked Coronamon if he had any tips about dealing with humans, the Tokomon adopted a pensive expression. Hmmm...
"Well, I think that's something you have to talk with your partner; I mean, each human can be reaaally different from the next, and just as us, they all have things they like and dislike, I guess." Her nonexistent shoulders gave a tiny shrug as she went on. "On my side, I value Yuu letting me be on my own when she's going to school or doing other Human World stuff, the freedom feels awesome, you know? In exchange, I gotta be her translator when she's dealing with people who don't know about signs, but I don't think that's half bad. I'm sure everyone appreciates having a more fluent conversation, so... well, back to the point! I think that it's vital for you to tell each other what you can expect from each party from the get go, so you can make your best at getting along? Maybe I'm being a bit too complex..."
Or just rambling, but in any case, she hoped she got her point across.

"The first thing you need to know about humans," Coronamon began, whispering to the twins so the Tamers couldn't hear, "is that they'd be hopelessly lost without us around. We're partnered with them for a reason, after all!" He was stopped by the sound of Colin's Digivice doing a poor job of describing him. While none of it was necessarily wrong, it was still rather crude. He was more than just a fire starter, after all!
"All things considered," he continued, "being with Marshal has been a great time for both of us. You should be just fine with Colin! It's meant to be."

Colin listened to Kyo's objections to his Digivice's description of her. He gave a bit of a nervous chuckle, hoping this digivice wouldn't get him into trouble.
"You bit off five feet?" Bellamy asked, looking surprised at Kyo, and kind of impressed.
Meanwhile the digimon listened to Kyo as she said what it was like being a partner to a human. What with the digimon having previously been independent individuals with no partners and with little dealings with humans, it was advice that they took seriously.
"Ah, okay" Luke said, grinning up at Colin. "Guess we'll have a long talk about it later, huh?"
"That's fine with me" Colin answered. "I'd like to talk to you guys too, obviously I can't treat you like pets since we can talk this over how we'd like to have things"
Then Kyo said her relationship with Yuu as an example. The three of them listened, thinking it was a reasonable symbiotic partnership. Bellamy swivelled to look up at Colin.
"I might be kinda like that" he said. "But one thing, kid, ask me before you wanna pet me okay? I don't want your fingers messin' up my fur after I just had it attended to, other than that, feel free"
"Bellamy purrs if you pet him right" said Luke. This annoyed the Yaamon.
"I do not, Luke!" he spat.
"Liar liar pants on fire~" Luke chanted.
"I'll set YOUR pants on fire when we digivolve and even then in the very low probability that you'll actually wear pants!" Bellamy snapped, specifically, taking a bounce toward Luke. The Wanyamon took a bounce back. "Hey get back here!" the two chased each other around the table, giggling.
"Oh boy..." said Colin, with a little exasperation. Then Coronamon said his advice, that humans would be lost on this world without their digimon partners. "Ah... I see" Colin said, nodding. In that case, he'd keep his partners close to him when he was here.

Kyo didn't look all that proud about Bellamy's question, but, yeah. That was the truth.
"Well, it's a funny situation, actually! And it had to do with a pesky group of Veemons trying to use me as a football. What can I say, that wasn't going to end well... for them, that is!" What happened after that incident that best left forgotten.
Yuu, on her stead, just watched how the nascent relationship between Colin, Bellamy and Luke grew. They showed promise for sure, but only time would be able to tell if they would get used to work as a team. On her stead... she wasn't sure on how to follow.
Marshal and Coronamon didn't seem to be too talkative, either, so just stared at Colin and wrote a simple sentence on her pad.
Anything else you might want to ask? I'm not sure on what to explain right now, so, some help would... well, help! Otherwise, if you think you're ready to go to the great outdoors, I guess that's where we say goodbye. Your choice, really.
She didn't even remember the reason why she was here right now, but she was confident on eventually remembering. Maybe she wanted to just visit? Probably.

Marshal also wasn't entirely sure what he was doing there. He had just seen these two at the train station and had gotten distracted from his mission. Deciding that he and Coronamon had spent enough time messing around, Marshal stood up and motioned for his Digimon to follow him.
"I hate to just run off," he said, bowing lightly, "but Coronamon and I have some work to do. Hopefully we'll see you guys around!" With that, the duo left the pastry shop and headed out into the Digital World.

"Oh gosh, really? That's horrible" Luke said, sympathising with Kyo. The idea of rookie levels treating an in-training like that made the Wanyamon shudder a little.
"Ah, I woulda done the same if a bunch of lizard boys started kickin' me around" said Bellamy. "I'm not about to become Ball-amy any time soon, hah!" he grinned at his little joke.
Then Yuu wrote to ask if Colin had any more questions. He did actually, a rather important one.
"Er, yes, I do, just the one" the boy said. "Do you know if I can get home easily? I mean... it's a train station so I'm guessing travel goes both ways, but, do I have to do anything in particular to get back to Earth? Or will these... trains take me there the same way I got here?"
It seemed the conversation was at an end after that. Marshal and Coronamon bade their leave too. Bellamy and Luke waved at them, well, Bellamy wiggled his ear and Luke waved his tail.
"And thanks for your help, Yuu and Kyo, I feel a lot less worried about this place now that you've explained it to me" Colin said to the others sincerely. With that, he wondered what he should do next. Explore the outside, or head home. Either way, it seemed he would be going with his partners.

Kyo just shrugged at Luke's comment. It wasn't that bad for her. Those Veemons had gotten what was coming for them. Towards Bellamy's comment, however...
"Oh, that joke was pretty good!" She found herself trying to resist laughing as much as she could. Otherwise, she'd risk to choke on her food, and that wasn't exactly the best. "You're pretty funny, Bellamy!"
Marshal was leaving so soon? Oh well; while the duo had certainly appreciated some of his input, they had felt that his appearance had been a little too... ephemeral? Maybe.
Regardless, both the human and the digimon waved at them as they walked towards the sunset. Now, looking at Colin, he too seemed like he wanted to leave at the moment; Yuu pondered his question for a moment before writing his own answer.
Just be sure of check which train you are boarding, I guess. Be extra careful about the one you are boarding, because it'd be a shame if you got lost over something so trivial as picking an incorrect train...
Taking that note back after Colin had read it, she added a number and a little something to it.
That's my D-Terminal address. You should also have one of those around; looks like a PDA, but cooler and it's the only way you can communicate through an electronic device while inside the Digital World. If you get in trouble, make sure to just call me. I can always make some time to help a friend.
Whether he decided to exit the place or not, Yuu'd just remain there, deciding to relax a little bit before getting out. And waiting for Kyo to finish her stuff, that is.

Bellamy grinned with a bit of satisfaction to see that someone laughed at his joke. It always made the Yaamon somewhat happy. "Heh heh, thanks" he said.
Colin meanwhile noted that Bellamy seemed to like this sort of attention, so, he'd probably get along with him well if Colin learned to laugh at his jokes too. After all, it was something he liked too.
He read out Yuu's answer to his question, which basically was to check exactly which train he would be boarding. "Okay, sounds easy enough" he said.
"Just hope that they don't change their mind once they head off" Luke joked. Colin's eyes widened with horror. Both Luke and Bellamy giggled. "Heh heh, just kidding, they're usually pretty good at their job"
And Yuu had something else to say, offering him her D-Terminal address. Colin was curious when she said that he should have one around, that it was like a PDA. He felt inside his pocket again, and saw that it was indeed there.
"...wow" he remarked, amazed at how these tools were seemingly materializing out of nowhere. But... if it was the digital world, then things might not be as they seem at first glance.
At the end of the note it said that if he was ever in any trouble, she'd be able to help him out. Colin smiled and nodded.
"Thanks, Yuu, I'll keep that in mind" he said. "Well, I might see if I can find a train back to, uh, Earth. I'd rather make sure I can get there easily, just for peace of mind" he chuckled. If the way home didn't work, then that would be a real problem.
"Oh boy, are we gonna see Earth now?!" Luke asked, excitedly hopping on the spot. "I can't wait!"
"Heh, I look forward to seein' how you humans handle the Impster on your planet" Bellamy grinned. "Well, see ya round, Yuu and Kyo, it was nice meetin' ya!"
"Yeah, see ya" said Luke. Colin smiled and waved goodbye as he walked off toward the platforms, hoping to find a way home.

Both Yuu and Kyo waved off Colin, Luke and Bellamy with a smile. They already seemed to be on the right track to become a great team, and that made both partners happy.
After all, if somebody introduced to the Digital World by her didn't became a fine tamer, it'd be a shame, right?
"Those three look promising." Kyo remarked after finishing. "I think we'll be seeing them again really soon. What do you think?"
Yuu just picked her up, patting her head a bit; a gesture ending up in some happy giggles.
["I think more or less the same, to be honest."] Well, a bit more in depth, in all honesty. ["I think they're heading a good direction, but only time will tell if he'll get used to this place; I feel hopeful, however. And I also think that we're going to see them again soon. Hopefully they'll be okay until then."]
The Tokomon nodded, just before Yuu stood up. She paid the bill, deciding to take a stroll for a bit. She had to board a Trailmon towards Whitewater, but that could be done some time later. There was serious work to do there, and... she could afford to arrive fashionably late, in all honesty. [Exit thread]
