Fireworks [Ryouta] [MPC33 — Digital Harvest]

Ryouta smiled at Mana, hands linking together. Mana in yukata is quite nice actually. It made him... amazed? "Anytime, Mana," he told her, truly feeling happy for a rare occasion. His usually sharp eyes softened when she's around. Today, Ryouta is wearing an informal hakama. Speaking of which, he wondered why harvest festival in the whitewater? Shouldn't it be somewhere like in Terminus or around there? He can't help but to think something like that, but at the same time, he guessed that it's probably related to good catch. Hmmm, a Digital World version of harvest festival, eh...

"Lessee, if you want, maybe we can grab some snack first, something that we can hold with one hand and then plays some game?"

There are lot of standard summer festival games here... he was rather surprised. Ryouta bought a fox mask, modeled after Taomon to wear, just because he's in mood to. Checking around, he could see lot of stalls selling foods... other than that, sniping gallery, ball toss, cookie carving and the most traditional one is the goldfish catching---hey wait, they're not for keeping but instead to be eaten!? Not to mention due to catering Digimons, most of the stalls are huge sized!

"Hey, hey, no need to be so excited~" he lightly scolded her, but from his voice she would know that he's actually as excited as she is, but probably keep himself rather reserved to maintain the image. If a boy this scarred and as built as him somehow just like that goes around nearly prancing like her, wouldn't that be a bit embarrassing? But there's another reason for that. Today was their first official date for long. Oh well, that doesn't matter for now. What matter is that they should enjoy whatever the stall gave them. "I'd take Ikayaki then," he told her. To his surprise, she took a big one for him. He can't help but to chuckle at that display of thoughtfulness.

"Thanks Mana. It does smells great!"

His laugh gets even cheerier when she somehow ends up looking ridiculous after taking a bite. He can't help but to blew the grilled squid she's holding. "Geez, Mana~ You're just way too excited aren't you?" he asked, then took a bite of his own. Yet he did the same blunder although he scolded his girlfriend like that! Indeed, it's not enough to burn his tongue, but still, he blew it inside his mouth all the same before swallowing it.

"...And lesson's learned... never scold the Mana and laugh at her, also don't get too mesmerized by her cuteness otherwise the karma would struck," he said, sticking out his tongue. For a while, he looked as if those scars that adorned his face is just a mere cosmetics for how different he is from the usual brooding him before they met and dated like this.

"Still, this squid's big, though," he muttered. Well, no sludge Sherlock, knowing that it's made for Adult Digimon afterall. "If you don't have enough just yet, do you want to share?"

"At least I can get cute reaction from you," he answered, stroking her head and gave her a moment squeeze with an arm, but made sure to not do it strongly. Afterall, he has grown considerably much stronger now. "Actually, the number one rule is 'tease the girl you like', that should be in ANY boy's books. Go ask Yuu. He'll confirm this later. Anyway, if you need one more later, I'll buy slightly bigger size for two of us, maybe?" he took another chomp at his squid. It does tastes nice. Luckily this one is only the body part though... But to think that this squid is almost half as tall as him, just how scary Digital World is?

"...First festival together is in Digital World? Well, actually not sure if this is the first festival... unless you mean Matsuri then yeah. But I mean, we also did Halloween together back then, right?" he titled his head, and then strokes her cheek. "But yeah, I don't mind that the slightest when we did it now, I mean, now is probably much better because it's safer for the world... Remember what we've gone through? Deva, Charles... stuff."

He handed her some tissue just in case to wipe her mouth,

Shooting booth, huh? He need to make sure that the noise-drowning sound will be extra loud just in case, but suddenly Mana proposed something interesting. Ryouta's eyes looked at her sharply, like a predator finding a challenge from an equal.

"I see, so a challenge, eh..." a smirk also spreads on his face. "...Alright, what about if I win, I'll kiss you three times of the difference between our score, sounds nice?"

"There's also calm AFTER storm," he said, smiling. Probably he's being very optimistic, but he only can reassure her that it'll be fine this time around. Both of them are strong, stronger than back then and seriously packed some punch if they needed. However at the same time, what she said also bothered him significantly. His grip on Mana's hand momentarily strengthened, sending her sentiment that he really don't want to be separated from her.

"You shouldn't wear it that way to begin with," Ryouta said. "You should give yourself some space from the strings to avoid blisters. You should pick smaller size from your shoe size so that your heels actually 'floating' out. Yeah, it's tiring, but much better than having blisters. Blisters are the worst. My sisters often cried because of that."

He smiled though as the corks are set in front of them. Actually, he really don't want to lose, but Mana's doing better than him. If this is darts, it'll be tie, but compared to it, this one is a bit harder, mainly... because to get profit, these guns are gimmicked. He shoot once... it hits, but not in bullsye. He shoot again, missing it by a centimeter. Now, at this rate, he can feel it. He can feel how to hit the bullseye. He shoot again and again, the rest of the eight is on the center.

"..Tsk, I missed two. That's too bad," he said.

He pouted, playfully of course, just so Mana could gloat more about her victory, but at the same time, he ruffled her hair and smiled. "Yeah, yeah, drown in your victory before I have to lift you because your feet is hurting, girl," he joked, lightly poking her cheek. There's no use of poking her on her ribs. Her nerves might be made of steel afterall, considering that she never once laughed when tickled.

"Kay kay, no need to drag me like that, champ," he joked, but regardless offered next to no resistance, and even let her guide him to the place she desired.

"Well, even if the fireworks is here, we still can buy some foods and enjoys ourselves. Supposedly it should be in waves, you know? Even if we're not in hurry, it should be fine..." he looked at the squid on his hand. "Though, I still have an Ikayaki with me. Wanna share?"

He only can smile at her remark. "Well, I've lost once, I won't lose anymore.... one alone is already enough anyway..." he opened his bag and looked at the content, where a floral pattern egg is there. "...Plus she'll probably scold the hell outta me if I got lost in her watch yet again."

Albeit so, he only can sputter when she calls Yuuki Yuuki-chan. "...Seriously, Mana, if there's someone who I wouldn't call with -chan, it's Yuuki, no matter how old we are. His reaction going to be really priceless, but he'll sure to tsukkomi you so hard on that remark."

"Hey champ, basking in that is fine and all, but I'm sooo going to punch you on the lips... with my lips!" he joked, acting as if he's turning violent. He rose an eyebrow at the comment about Yuuki. "Last time I heard, she's still amused at it, but Yuuki is feeling meh about it. I guess that he doesn't think of it that much either. I mean, He seriously would think of it as least his problem at the moment due to all the plan he have to plan ahead of the time to ensure that we'll enjoy this prolonged peace."

To be honest, Ryouta's eyes never aimed at the fireworks. It's always glancing at his beloved girlfriend. The moment that she turned to him, his face turned red momentarily, but his hand unconsciously goes to her hair and starts playing with it, just like old times. He laughed and nodded at her thank. "No worries... Actually, I'll be much happier if you stay with me, but someone going to protest at me when Koharu is currently locked in her room with all the manga drawing she's currently doing and is in hermit mode."

He was a bit surprised at the kiss, but kissed her back lovingly, savoring the taste of her lips. Who cares if it's squiddish? At least it's Mana's lips.

"Well then Mana, shall I walk you back home? Or should we begin our feast party~?" he joked. Actually, he's starving! And he's pretty sure that Mana is too... considering that her stomach would growl really loudly when it's hungry. Better satisfy it before it growl!
