"To be honest, I've searched extensively for your parents already."
Yamaki let that fact hang in the air for a moment. Though Ryouta thought that this might have been a simple enough matter, the tone on the detective's voice betrayed that of mild frustration. "I thought that finding them might have given me some sort of lead in the case - that is, the closed case of your disappearance. And this investigation is still ongoing... but if my hunch is right? The answers may somehow lie in this other world."
That said, it was just a hunch, the detective leaning back in his chair to try and mull this over. If this kid was telling the truth, and the way into that world was completely subjective, then he would have no choice but to believe him. Could Yamaki really rely on such convenience? Still, what choice did he really have? "... Hm. I suppose this is the only lead I have... and at least confirming the existence of this other world would be a start." That said, he got a small grin on his face, letting out a chuckle. "Heh... look at me now, delving into works of fantasy here..."

So apparently an extensive search is already done, but...
"Detective, I understand that you're frustrated, but mind if I ask you to do this again? I don't believe they're in Digital World. I believe that they would be hidden somewhere else that's like... very safe, very out of public's eyes. If they're in Digital World, then I should've found them already.... regardless..."
He stood up. "I believe we have a deal, Detective. Why don't we go there right away? I'm sure that you'll find it... interesting at the very least. I'll lead the way. Please follow me."
Of course where Ryouta said is in the Shibuya station. They gone through the usual procedure, but instead of going to the normal platform, they goes to the broken platform. Waiting there is several trains with unique design, but Ryouta ignored all of them. What he goes to, however, is a train that is ridiculously humongous, almost like it's designed to fit in seven meter giants.
"Ilbert, we have emergency," Ryouta announced to the train, which opened its 'eyes'.
"Emergency, young master? I'm guessing that we'll return to digital world?"
"We'll give this detective, Yamaki-san some tour, please give the best possible service you can give."
"Understood, master. Please enter, Detective."
The compartment door opened, which Ryouta immediately entered to. The said compartment is a lounge, complete with bar and small private dining area.
"Some drink, perhaps, Detective?" Ryouta asked. "Ilbert is a Digimon, but he's also a train, so you can say that this is my personal house for a while. Ilbert is my butler."

Of course, it wasn't easy for Ryouta to hear news that like. And of course, he would plead that there would still be a possibility, that they would still be somewhere in this world, by some 'normal' means. Of course it was possible: proving a negative was next to impossible, but the fact of the matter is, Yamaki had already turned over every stone available to him, and then some.
There was just nothing: a sold house, a bad address, and a set of vanished people. But, at the very least, Ryouta would lead him on a rather long walk. Long enough for him to text his family, to say that he'd be home late, as well as fully check through his email. But there, through one otherwise inaccessible area of Shibuya Station, he would be met with another Digimon.
And this one? This, was a train, with eyes for headlights. Part of the Detective wanted to ask himself if he was in some weird kids-show dream, but it was real. "Hm. Thank you, Ilbert." He would step inside, work shoes touching the soft carpet underneath to an inside that was more like a limo. Blinking, he took a quick look around, and smiled. "Well, it makes sense how you've been able to keep yourself for so long in the other world. To think you've been able to commandeer such a th- ... an ally." He was careful with his words, and took a seat on the side of the train. "I'm good for now. Where does this let out, on the other side? Tell me about it."

"Oh, this? Admittedly I saved and used all of my asset. Ilbert worth it a lot though." Ryouta said, smiling slightly. "I just need a house at first, then a transportation for my job. Because it's dangerous, I was thinking of getting something sturdy, but Ilbert caught my attention. I think he's also great in a sense he's both an armored train and a long range supporter."
The engine began to hum... and then, for some reason, the train is already facing on another direction after the window temporarily showered by colorful aqua light. The teen sat in front of the detective. Minding the need of the master, Ilbert came with two mushroom soups and put it in front of the two people.
"...Sorry, do you mind if I dine? Well, Ilbert..."
"Very well, young master. We'll be shortly arriving in Terminus," as the butler said this, a holographic display appeared, showing how Terminus looked like. "We'll do small tour in slow speed, so you may get used to it. Going on foot on area other than Terminus alone is not suggested due to feral Digimon threats. Hence, I would suggest it's the best for you to stay inside here, detective, where both of us can protect you easily.

Hm? This was a normal transaction for something on this side... and more to the point, something that Ryouta had purchased? Maybe asset was the better way to think about this, even if this was some sort of sentient train. And if that was the case, perhaps this other world had an entirely different social structure that just seemed normal to them, despite how off-putting it would seem to the human world.
These thoughts, though interesting, were just a minor point at hand as the train started moving forward. As expected for something as high-class as the Locomon, it was a smooth ride, only the barest rumble underneath them as Ilbert came out with two light, mushroom soups. "Hm. Well, if you will..." He tried his own portion: the seasoning was unfamiliar, but overall, it came as a well-balanced dish. And soon, the hologram propped up, Yamaki blinking as he looked over this display. "A rail tour, then? Well, these windows were somewhat tinted from the outside. Heh, I don't think I'd even be recognized at all here."
Indeed, it was safe, and that served well enough for the tour. "But such an approach doesn't seem fruitful past a tour. Ah, sorry, I may be thinking too far ahead. Please, Ilbert, go at whatever pace you two feel necessary."

"The windows are tinted, yes, but it's still crystal clear from this side, so it's alright... well, anyway, what I'm going to show you is just Terminus for now, but if you're unsatisfied, then we can go somewhere else... for example, the Village of Beginning. Also, rail tour, eh, well, if you call someone that can make his own rail as 'rail tour', I guess that's right..."
Before long, they arrived on the other side. There, both human and Digimons are mixed.
"By the way, within Terminus, everyone is protected, so if there is an unwanted happenstance, we could somehow get a help from the guard Digimons. I think it's safe to walk around here. But before that, Detective, I'd like to know... what sort of thing that you wish to somehow know by coming from this side other than the procedure? Ah, right, I forgot to say but... time here moves in speed seven times faster than the real world. This means seven hours here equal to one hour on the other side."

"Well. Making his own rail or not, that's what it is, right?" Even with that additional fact, it didn't do more than just bring a smirk to the detective's face. Really, was this much supposed to surprise him now? Between the dragon and the train, it had already been a full day...
... Wait, hold those words back a second! As they arrived in the other world, Son took a glance outside, raising his brow. Yes, there were other humans, but those definitely weren't what drew the eye. Creatures on two legs, creatures on four legs... machines, candles, gears, wolves, and things he'd not even heard of in fantasy! Blinking, he took a moment to polish his glasses, taking a better look outside. "... Don't think we need to go outside quite yet." Who could blame him, this whole thing was overwhelming! Still, he did note a few things, notably that most of the humans here had devices of their own, similar to Ryouta's. Digivices, right?
"Hm... tell you what... let's get a little away from the center. Don't want to get swept up in the crowd."

"Heh, true," Ryouta only could agree with that. The mushroom soup in front of him seem to be all gone now. Ilbert switched it with a particularly very big sized meat steak. If one looked at it, they probably would question where the hell does this object came from. It's probably about 1 and a quarter kilogram of cooked steak. It's poured with very appetizing brown sauce with side of fries and some nice vegetables. Probably this is one of the case where one could be said as living lavishly.
"Fair," Ryouta said as the detective said that it's not the time to come out yet. He chuckled a bit, probably it's yes, too much to process. With a rather blunt tipped yet very sharp edged knife, Ryouta cut his steak into several small portion.
"Away from the center, yes? Alright. Ilbert, would you please?"
"Understood young master..."
Outside, Ilbert's rail immediately ascended to the sky, To not disturb flying Digimons, he made sure to first give a warning that he's about to ascend. Slowly, the train ascended, yet for some reason, whatever inside the compartment was kept stable despite the obvious tilting from the ascension. Ryouta resumed his dining, even when supposedly the hotplate, or even his glass, should have slided from the table and hit him. Well, best not question Digimon logic.
The train soon descended in a less crowded place, resuming its tour once again.
