[Yuuki said he wanted to be skipped]
Well, looks like that everyone was settled for the day, so, with a sigh of relief, Yuu just made her way back into the newly salvaged building, but not before leaving a note to Marshal and Ryouta.
You can consider yourselves dismissed for the day. Marshal, you can leave by my office whatever methods I can have to contact you, just in case something comes up. You're free to do whatever you please with the rest of your day, Ryo.
The end of the day wasn't that bad, she had to admit. Whether Marshal would prove to be a valuable addition to the team's roster or not, that was something only time would be able to tell.
Well, in all honesty, Kyo couldn't either nail what they were doing. After all, what they would do would just be means to an end. An end she was aware of, of course.
"Well, truth to be told, I don't know what we're doing either." She said with a shrug. "But I know one thing. Whatever we're doing, it's in order to leave a legacy, a mark in this world, so to say. Something so big and great, that not even the ravages of time would be able to erase it; a lasting change, a legacy. Maybe it sounds a bit too idealistic, but I think that's something worth doing."
The process to turn the crook in was surprisingly fast, but then again, the authorities of Whitewater were more or less acquainted with the Astamon. Now, on their road back...
"There's not just one path to greatness, and I'm not sure which one we're taking, but I think I'll enjoy the ride. There's a certain thrill on the unknown, at least to me."
Probably no the answer he was looking for, but that was her truth.
