SPIRIT EVOLUTION LINE
Spirit Element: Delirium.
Non-Combat Passives — Shared across all forms:—Gravitational Shift: Altering the laws of physics in some minor ways, this digimon can traverse through space somewhat effortlessly.
—Eldritch Senses: The digimons of this line don't see the world in the same way than a common digimon would.
——Specifically, they're deaf, blind, anosmic and
mostly incapable of verbal communication, even though they can tense and relax their tendrils, among other 'limbs' in a way that produces a whistling sound that can roughly sound like a couple of drawn-out, basic syllables; this isn't efficient at all, and mostly they prefer to not resort to it unless necessary.
——Also, their sense of tact is also greatly hindered; most sensations being experienced as varying degrees of pressure along their many tendrils, growths, and lattices.
——Their way to deal with these hindrances is by an
extremely developed sensitivity to vibrations, either in on the ground or the air; the result is a well-developed method of mapping their surroundings, even if those readings aren't completely accurate at times.
——A sense akin to taste has also been heightened. The digimons on this line can become aware of fluctuations in the environment by collecting small (or big; see
Reprocess) samples of data from their surroundings and evaluating the changes they had in comparison to previous samples. This is akin to a snake flicking its tongue.
——Finally, when engaging in physical contact with any living being, they can establish a telepathic link of sorts, being able to share their thoughts into each other's psyche almost at instant speed. While the initial link
isn't invasive, prolonged contact can create an opening for more...
unsavory practices if the digimon so desires and the recipient isn't careful enough. This contact can be initiated at a distance once information about the target has been collected, but the link usually isn't strong enough for more than 'normal' conversation.
—Otherworldly Species: Any device trying to scan any of the digimons corresponding to this spirit won't find any information about it; not even a name. While outside of combat, these digimons do not emit any kind of energy signal or presence, almost as if they didn't exist.
—Shed Skin: These digimons can also change their shape and form, depending on the data they have harvested on their dealings (See
Psychic Probe,
Psychic Intrusion,
Transgress the Mind and
Mind Twist). This state immediately ends when attacked or attacking.
—Unnatural Insight: This digimon is able to communicate on some level with any being that it has probed in the past (whether with
Psychic Probe or any of its variations). How clear the messages are, the frequency in which they can be sent and even if the communication can be two-sided depends on how much knowledge this digimon has about the recipient of its messages.
Fighting Style: Most of the digimon of the
Delirium element are peculiar in the sense that neither their tactics and/or fighting style is definite among them; however, there are a few noteworthy facts about them.
Unless
really threatened (or if by some miracle, Amelie manages to retain control of the evolution), they'll pretty much play with their opponents, trying to gather as much information about them before making a conscious effort to end the battle. The goal's to
Assimilate as many abilities as possible, meaning that more often than not, these beings won't do a conscious effort at getting out of harm's way, much to dismay of the human previously mentioned. Not having anything they consider vital and the ability to regenerate any lost tissue helps a lot with that one. Oftentimes, they'll also try to dictate the pace of any given fight, just for their foe to resort to the best tools in their arsenal and promptly siphon them away.
They will always take advantage of their aerial abilities and of the fact that they barely have to put thought in remaining airborne, so they either use this as a crucial advantage against grounded foes, or favor aerial confrontations against enemies that depend on silly things like wings or not being in pain to be at their best in the air.
If able, they will drag the fight somewhere their currents opponents would have a hard time. To name a few, underground, underwater and any extremely enclosed space are some of their favored battlefields. The more senses or advantages they can take away from their prey for free, the better.
Finally, they'll keep any fallen enemies alive if they can help it, and will shamelessly siphon them from every bit of information they have. Then, they're equally likely to finish the job or not, mostly depending on a whim.
Appearance: From one extreme to the other, Driftermon's body would be about three meters long. Even if its form is mostly nondescript, a few things come into light when taking a closer look. The first would be that almost the entirety of its body seems to be made out of dark purple tendrils that, in some way, converge to form a body. Those are seemingly firmly secured in their spot by a series of white bony plates and growths that appear to fix themselves on what would be the upper parts of its body, even though some also sprout in a less influential fashion on other spots.
The limbs themselves have many particularities, but the biggest one is probably how they seem to decrease their size or to adapt depending on where they are. For example, they're shorter and slender by the extremes of its physique, foregoing power for the ability to do fine tasks. Similarly, by its midsection, two seemingly articulated and arm-like growths sprout. They split again in what would constitute the elbow, and they end up in small claw-like growths. Both the frontal tendrils or these growths are its preferred method to interact with its environment, the one being used heavily dependent on the situation. No other significant traits can be observed, among them one of the most notable being the total absence of any kind of other sensory organs.
S-Hybrid Spirit: Driftermon.
Attribute: Unknown.
Family: Unknown.
Type: Unknown.
Abilities:—Assimilate [Passive Ability - RAM Upgrade]: This digimon gains perfect understanding of the effects of any attack that it would be subject of. It can use this knowledge to fuel some of its other abilities (notably,
Surreal Memoir). The total number of foreign abilities it can remember at a time per form (using this or
any other means) varies according to its level, starting at one passive and one active at Rookie/Child, two at Champion/Adult and so on.
—Not From This World [Passive Ability - RAM Upgrade]: This digimon's attacks and abilities ignore the effects of defensive passive abilities that would tamper with them in any way.
—Reprocess [Passive Ability]: Drawing energy from nearby sources, this digimon can gain sustenance and progressively heal its wounds over the course of time, growing stronger in the posts when it's not receiving damage. Can have the side effect of deteriorating the environment in bouts of voraciousness.
—Dreams of Madness [Passive Ability - RAM Upgrade Giga]: This ability can be replaced by any passive ability this digimon has learned about. When this ability changes, it must remain active for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
—Psychic Probe: Delves deep into the target's mind. This digimon becomes aware of one memory, the knowledge of an ability or something of similar weight about the target. This ability can only be used if the target's immobilized, helpless or willing, and can only be used once per thread per character. While performing this ability, this digimon can't perform any other action and becomes completely unaware of its surroundings. This ability can be resisted psychically.
—Reality Spasm: Vanishing from sight and from mind, this digimon becomes completely invisible. While this effect is active, any character that has been subject to the effects of
Psychic Probe or any of its variations completely forgets about its existence, unless reminded by a character who's aware of it. This effect ends as soon as it attacks. Duration: 2 posts. Cooldown: 2 posts.
—Surreal Memoir: This ability can be replaced by any active ability this digimon has learned about. This ability is subject to the cooldown of the last ability that it mimicked. When this ability changes, it must remain as it is for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
Digivolves To: Stridermon, Siftermon.
Appearance: Siftermon is, thus far, the first of the spirits with a definite form. Normally standing about four meters, it has foregone its previously slender appearances in favor of a comparably powerful build. Its body, varying at seemingly random intervals from a pale shade of blue into a bright shade of pink, is covered in the aforementioned white plates more than any other previous form, almost as if forming an armor of sorts. Taking an humanoid-ish form, there are some key differences in its appearance. Its lower body is constituted by a mass of limbs that resemble an insect's legs, partially plated and divergent by their ends, forming tendril-like growths. These are complimented by proper tendrils that apparently spring out of random places.
Regarding its upper body, and in contrast with its previous forms, only one of Siftermon's upper limbs split up by the elbow, forming two separate limbs that resemble a particularly big humanoid's hand. The other limb is noticeably bigger to compensate, its proportions not quite fitting with the rest of its body. As a final note, it's devoid of something that would be called a head in this form. Instead, a mass of long and flabby tendrils sprouts, some of them reaching more or less the total length of the rest of its body.
H-Hybrid Spirit: Siftermon.
Attribute: Unknown.
Family: Unknown.
Type: Unknown.
Abilities:—Reprocess [Passive Ability]: Drawing energy from nearby sources, this digimon can gain sustenance and progressively heal its wounds over the course of time, growing stronger in the posts when itf's not receiving damage. Can have the side effect of deteriorating the environment in bouts of voraciousness.
—Spatial Contortion [Passive Ability]: This digimon's attacks and abilities are capable of discriminating which targets they affect. In a whim, they are able to partially or completely nullify their effects against any target probed by this digimon in the past.
—Stolen Memento [Passive Ability]: This ability can be replaced by any
Passive ability learned by this digimon. When this ability changes, it must remain active for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
—Dreams of Madness [Passive Ability - RAM Upgrade Giga]: This ability can be replaced by any passive ability this digimon has learned about. When this ability changes, it must remain active for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
—Otherworldly Sigil [RAM Upgrade]: A large sign is drawn in across the battlefield with this digimon on its center, warping the data of anybody that happens to be within its radius. If at least one opponent is affected by it, all the digimons inside forget a number of attacks and abilities until their total number of attacks plus abilities equals three and receive a moderate amount of damage per post. Effect duration: 3 posts. Sigil duration: 3 posts. Cooldown: 5 posts.
—Psychic Probe: Delves deep into the target's mind. This digimon becomes aware of one memory, the knowledge of an ability or something of similar weight about the target. This ability can only be used if the target's immobilized, helpless o willing, and can only be used once per thread per character. While performing this ability, this digimon can't perform any other action and becomes completely unaware of its surroundings. This ability can be resisted psychically.
—Reality Hemorrhage: Reality warps and bends around this digimon, changing the perception of its own self and its opponent. The next time this digimon would receive damage, whoever caused that damage is subject to the same amount of damage. Duration: up to 5 posts. Cooldown: 2 posts.
—Surreal Memoir: This ability can be replaced by any active ability this digimon has learned about. This ability is subject to the cooldown of the last ability that it mimicked. When this ability changes, it must remain as it is for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
—Whispers of Madness [RAM Upgrade]: The target's forced to experience something nobody should experience. As a result, they suffer a moderate amount of damage per post and aren't unable to distinguish between friend, foe and themselves while this effect lasts. Can be resisted psychically. Duration: 2 posts. Cooldown: 2 posts.
Digivolves To: Wimon, Heraldmon.
Appearance: Heraldmon is where things begin to get interesting. It's the first form that has more or less a defined form, mostly due to the sheer number of bony plates that surround the softer bits of its body; tendrils, tissue, membranes, and lattices are given form by an armor of sorts that surrounds Heraldmon's upper section and forelimbs, slowly losing form as it descends in order to give way to the mass of tentacles that constitutes its lower body.
If one were to describe Heraldmon's appearance with words, it would be as a seven-meter tall, solidly built hulk. The sinewy abomination, while smaller than Wimon, possesses a way stronger shape and a higher volume of concentrated tissue in the areas that matter; the varying number of limbs that populate its body are all protected with the aforementioned bony plates, each one of them muscly enough to withstand Heraldmon's full bulk, something that the digimon uses to its advantage by moving in a pattern that seems utmost erratic and unpredictable.
Funnily enough, if a careful observer pays attention, they would probably recognize a vaguely humanoid shape amid the mess that the digimon is, almost as if it were a mockery of a fully armored knight. Whether this is just a trick of Heraldmon's anatomy to further confuse its opponents or not is yet to be discovered.
Just like the rest of its forms, most of the digimon's
actual tissue is cold to the touch (like always, the plates just feel like inert tissue), even if direct contact with it feels more or less like dragging one's hand through harsh, yet wet sandpaper, no matter how brief the contact is.
B-Hybrid Spirit: Heraldmon.
Attribute: Unknown.
Family: Unknown.
Type: Unknown.
Abilities:—Eldritch Lore [Passive Ability]: There are few things that don't get better when throwing a bit of forbidden knowledge into the mix, are they? This ability lets Heraldmon enhance an ability performed by itself or a willing ally, providing the following effects to it: the duration of the ability's secondary effects are lengthened by two posts, the ability can't be affected by opposing passives in any way and can't be blocked, cleansed or tampered with by enemies in any way. If applied to an ability that has a radius (like a field effect, for example), its radius is also doubled and the ability is also able to discern which targets to affect and which not to (at Heraldmon's discretion). This ability can't prolong the length of any stun, immobilize, sleep or any other form of hard disabling abilities. In order to be used on allies, some kind of connection has to be established between the digimons beforehand (see
Psychic Probe,
Psychic Intrusion,
Transgress the Mind and
Mind Twist). Once per thread.
—Stolen Memento [Passive Ability]: This ability can be replaced by any passive ability this digimon has learned about. When this ability changes, it must remain active for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
—Unstable Manifestation [Passive Ability]: Most digimons find out that Heraldmon's data makeup is highly unstable, prolonged contact or even interacting with its form being a dangerous endeavor at best. Each time Heraldmon is struck by an attack, it can choose to increment the duration of an ongoing effect the attacking digimon has by one post. This is accompanied by a measure of psychical grief and physical pain for flavor purposes, mostly; this ability deals no significant damage.
—Dreams of Madness [Passive Ability - RAM Upgrade Giga]: This ability can be replaced by any passive ability this digimon has learned about. When this ability changes, it must remain active for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
—Abtruse Interference: The target has the effects of an active ongoing effect instantly reversed. If there isn't a clear opposite to the effect, the effect is nullified for its duration. Toggleable and/or cancellable effects can't be disabled/cancelled while this effect is active. If used on an enemy, the target takes a moderate amount of damage per post while that effect lasts. Cooldown: 2 posts.
—Esoteric Recall: This ability can be replaced by any active ability this digimon has learned about. This ability is subject to the cooldown of the last ability that it mimicked. When this ability changes, it must remain as it is for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
—Mind Twist: Gains full access to access to somebody's mind. If given enough time, this digimon may become aware of every memory, the knowledge of every move associated with a specific form or something of similar weight regarding the character being probed. This ability can only be used if the target's immobilized, helpless or willing for as long as the probing lasts. While performing this ability, this digimon can't perform any other action and becomes completely unaware of its surroundings. This ability can be resisted psychically. Cooldown: once per thread.
—Surreal Memoir: This ability can be replaced by any active ability this digimon has learned about. This ability is subject to the cooldown of the last ability that it mimicked. When this ability changes, it must remain as it is for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
—Reality Shift [RAM Upgrade]: Instead of attacking for a post, Heraldmon can boost its awareness greatly. It can preemptively use an ability and unleash it as a counterattack with its damage increased by 50% against the next foe that would hit it with an attack. Only one ability can be used preemptively at the same time. Duration: 3 posts. Cooldown: 1 post.
—Repurpose [RAM Upgrade]: Transfers an ongoing positive effect afflicting a target to another target or a negative effect afflicting itself or a willing ally to another target. Toggleable and/or cancellable effects can't be disabled/canceled while this effect is active. If used on an enemy, they take a moderate amount of damage per post while that effect lasts. In order for this ability to be used on allies, some kind of connection has to be established between the digimons beforehand (see
Psychic Probe,
Psychic Intrusion,
Transgress the Mind and
Mind Twist). Cooldown: 2 posts.
Digivolves To: Enigmon.
Appearance: Honoring its name, Enigmon's appearance is truly... well, enigmatic!
Borrowing some elements from some of its previous forms, what can be appreciated at a glance is that this digimon's both
massive and almost as nondescript as Wimon.
Being fifteen meters long and ten meters tall at its
smallest, and most compact form, Enigmon can be described as a solid, bony shell that the rest its body uses as an origin point. Living tissue that can take the form of tendrils, membranes and even makeshift limbs of varying sizes and thickness spring on and about. While those can take the necessary shape and form depending on the situation, Enigmon tends to default to a grotesque, multi-limbed aberration. Depending on how the growths and plates are arranged, it is possible for some of those to further originate smaller, more delicate tendrils in case fine motor skills are needed.
Enigmon's color scheme is rather simple; the main shell and further bony growths are plain, simple white. Most of the actual tissue range from deep purple to pale, whitish violet and any smaller appendages are vibrant blue.
Interestingly enough, the digimon's body isn't nearly as
harmful as its predecessors'. Despite their hardness, the main shell and any further growths feel like pumice, while most of the actual tissue is comfortably cool and tingly, resulting in a nice feeling comparable to a caress when in contact with them.
A-Hybrid Spirit: Enigmon.
Attribute: Unknown.
Family: Unknown.
Type: Unknown.
Abilities:—Assimilate [Passive Ability]: This digimon gains perfect understanding of the effects of any attack that it would be subject of. It can use this knowledge to fuel some of its other abilities (notably,
Surreal Memoir). The total number of foreign abilities it can remember at a time per form (using this or
any other means) varies according to its level, starting at one passive and one active at Rookie/Child, two at Champion/Adult and so on.
—Cryptic Reclamation [Passive Ability]: This ability can be replaced by any passive ability this digimon has learned about. When this ability changes, it must remain active for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
—Eldritch Might [Passive Ability]: The damage and effectiveness of all the abilities this digimon may perform are increased by 50%. Its evasiveness is decreased by 20%.
—Stolen Memento [Passive Ability]: This ability can be replaced by any passive ability this digimon has learned about. When this ability changes, it must remain active for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
—Warped Feedback [Passive Ability]: Despite its usual and relatively harmless constitution, Enigmon's body has the ability to temporarily alter the data makeshift of anything it touches. Upon striking or being struck by an attack and for one post afterward, if the digimon who came in contact with Enigmon would be healed or regain health in any way, they
lose that much health instead. Attacks that would leech or drain vitality off Enigmon suffer the same consequences.
—Dreams of Madness [Passive Ability - RAM Upgrade Giga]: This ability can be replaced by any passive ability this digimon has learned about. When this ability changes, it must remain active for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
—Adverse Conditions [RAM Upgrade]: This ability can only target an ongoing or persisting effect in an area or the environment. Enigmon can manipulate that ongoing effect by subtracting any of its effects or changing who are supposed to be affected by any of the ability's components. The changed ability can't be canceled until its full duration has run its course. Cooldown: 3 posts.
—Eldritch Harvest: This ability can be replaced by any active ability this digimon has learned about. This ability is subject to the cooldown of the last ability that it mimicked. When this ability changes, it must remain as it is for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
—Esoteric Recall: This ability can be replaced by any active ability this digimon has learned about. This ability is subject to the cooldown of the last ability that it mimicked. When this ability changes, it must remain as it is for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
—Perish the Thought: Using knowledge already gained from the target, can disable one ability in their repertoire as long as this digimon has knowledge of it. The ability becomes unusable, its effects are nullified and they take a moderate amount of damage per posts while this ability lasts. If this ability is used in response to the said ability being performed and this digimon is among its targets, that ability doesn't affect this digimon. Duration: 3 posts. Cooldown: 2 posts.
—Rake [RAM Upgrade]: A simple, yet effective attack that exploits Enigmon's flexibility. It encompasses most of its physical fighting style, from barrages of tendrils to something more focused and forceful.
—Surreal Memoir: This ability can be replaced by any active ability this digimon has learned about. This ability is subject to the cooldown of the last ability that it mimicked. When this ability changes, it must remain as it is for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
Digivolves To: Enigmon H [Slide], Vexmon.
Appearance: Enigmon H would be to Heraldmon what Enigmon itself is to Wimon. Taking the previous form as a core, one could say that the digimon itself is the polar opposite of its counterpart, at least appearance-wise. While Enigmon's by far the most flexible and nondescript of Delirium's forms, Enigmon H is the most static, less malleable form by a rather wide margin.
While not as big as its counterpart, Enigmon H is a terrifying sight on its own right. Being twelve meters tall and taking after its predecessor, we have well-defined 'body' consisting in an amassment of thick and sinewy pink/reddish tentacles constituting its lower framework, with pretty much anything upwards being tightly wrapped around hard bony plates, ranging from a well-defined and bulky trunk to two massive forelimbs that split in a smaller replica of themselves by their midsection. Besides the aforementioned, the digimon's body has next to no defining features; some bony plates are able to produce additional growths that tend to adopt a blue-ish coloration and a sharp, spikey appearance. They tend to amass at random sections Enigmon H's body, taking various forms and motifs, even though they seldom serve any practical purpose.
Unlike most, if not
all of its predecessors, Enigmon H's body doesn't produce any particular feeling when being touched or interacted with besides the smooth texture of polished stone and the lukewarm temperature the few exposed bits in the aberration's body emanate. Sure, some growths can be pretty sharp and any unsuspecting individual may be on the receiving end of some rather nasty cuts if they aren't careful, but not much more than that.
A-Hybrid Spirit Mode Change: Enigmon H.

—Unnatural Endurance [Passive Ability]: Non-self-inflicted negative status effects are only half as effective on Enigmon H. If the status' effect can't be quantified, it lasts half as long (rounded down) instead.
—Dreams of Madness [Passive Ability - RAM Upgrade Giga]: This ability can be replaced by any passive ability this digimon has learned about. When this ability changes, it must remain active for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
—Skewer [RAM Upgrade]: A simple, yet effective attack that capitalizes on Enigmon H's raw strength. It encompasses most of Enigmon H's default attacks, from using force to crush an unsuspecting enemy to a barrage of bony shards originated from its body.
—Slaughter [RAM Upgrade]: In an attempt at finishing an opponent off, Enigmon H tries to brutally impale them, dealing damage equal to twice the total amount of damage they've received since the fight began. Damage that was healed still counts for this ability's purposes. This move ignores any and all defensive measures that may be used against it, and, if successful at defeating an opponent, it negates any kind of ability that may bring them back to fighting shape. Cooldown: Once per thread. 5 posts if it fails to hit its intended target.
—Surreal Memoir: This ability can be replaced by any active ability this digimon has learned about. This ability is subject to the cooldown of the last ability that it mimicked. When this ability changes, it must remain as it is for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
—Warping Surge: This ability is only usable after one of this digimon's attacks has been dodged/blocked/avoided. Beginning on the next post, and while this effect lasts Enigmon H's power and speed double and can't be reduced by outside sources,
including abilities that would render it unable to move. Duration: 3 posts. Cooldown: 3 posts.
Digivolves To: Enigmon [Slide], Vexmon.
Appearance: Vexmon's form is majestic, yet cryptic. Beautiful, yet unstable and ever-changing. Dreadful, yet enticing.
If one were to put into words how most beings perceive this digimon, Vexmon's most striking feature is an utterly
massive, disk-shaped gray membrane that serves as the whole being's anchor. Over, inside, and underneath it, a nigh never-ending amount of lattices and tentacles extend, forming extremely complex, yet uneasily symmetric figures and arrangements that are capable of changing from one form to the next in the blink of an eye, or maybe even faster. While constantly pulsating, there’s an unchanging element of Vexmon’s visage in its digicore. A giant, relatively reddish orb always occupies the spot at the center of the disk, almost giving the impression of an ever-observing eye.
Its coloration depends on this factor as well; the closer the tissue or appendages are to the being’s digicore, red, magenta, violet and similar tones can be observed. They become colder purples, blues, and even grays as they drift apart.
While it’s not particularly hindering to any nearby living being, the digimon’s sole appearance tends to distort the terrain on its immediate surroundings, making space itself —physical or otherwise— to appear more distant and lengthier. This, among other, miscellaneous disturbances cause it to be a presence pretty much
impossible to ignore, for better or worse.
Z-Hybrid Spirit: Vexmon.

—Footprints in the Dust: This ability can be replaced by any active ability this digimon has learned about. This ability is subject to the cooldown of the last ability that it mimicked. When this ability changes, it must remain as it is for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
—Looming Omens: This ability can be replaced by any active ability this digimon has learned about. This ability is subject to the cooldown of the last ability that it mimicked. When this ability changes, it must remain as it is for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
—Malaise: This ability can be replaced by any active ability this digimon has learned about. This ability is subject to the cooldown of the last ability that it mimicked. When this ability changes, it must remain as it is for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
—Nemesis Moon: This ability can be replaced by any active ability this digimon has learned about. This ability is subject to the cooldown of the last ability that it mimicked. When this ability changes, it must remain as it is for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
—Unbeget [RAM Upgrade]: Vexmon tries to forcibly unmake a being’s existence.
●This ability deals a very high amount of damage, that increases per post the current fight has gone through. In a prolonged conflict, it can be extremely dangerous.
●This ability ignores any kind of protection, mitigation or avoidance used against it, whether passive or active.
●If the target of this ability survives, they have their data makeup temporarily corrupted. They can’t benefit from any kind of healing or defensive abilities for the next 3 posts. The duration of this effect can’t be shortened and it needs to be cleansed by two separate effects in order to be completely removed.
●If the target of this ability doesn’t survive or if they perish when afflicted by the debuff described above, they can’t be brought back by resurrection-based abilities for the remainder of the thread. When (or if) they come back, they’re more likely to have lost part or the totality of their memories, and the beings who interacted with them find that any memories related to the deceased being are either absent, foggy, and/or hazy. This is, of course, at the roleplayers’ discretion.
●Cooldown: Once per thread. 4 posts if it fails to deal damage to its intended target.
—Vex [RAM Upgrade]: At a point of Vexmon’s designation, a small, iridescent sphere manifests.
●This ability takes effect over the span of two posts.
●On the first post, the sphere begins to pull all the nearby matter in a huge radius around it with great strength. The diameter of this ability negates any effects that increase speed or enable faster or non-physical movement, such as teleportation.
●On the second post, the sphere detonates, releasing a
massive amount of energy, being capable of leveling extremely large areas just by the sheer force of the blast.
●Any being subject to this ability’s blast is driven temporarily insane. They injure the nearest ally they have (themselves if there isn’t any) with an ability of Vexmon’s choice, as long as it has knowledge of it (random otherwise). Despite that an ability’s cooldown may be ignored for the purposes of this effect, Vexmon can’t force anyone to use once per thread abilities.
●Duration: 2 posts. Effect duration: 1 post. Cooldown: Once per thread.
OPTIONAL EVOLUTIONARY STAGES
Appearance: Stridermon has matured notably over its previous form. Both its height, size and weight have increased greatly, the digimon now being easily five meters tall, even though that it appears to be half of that due to its constantly hunched posture. Surprisingly enough, its body now has a semblance of form, vaguely adopting humanoid traits, even if not quite. Its mostly violet, sinewy and lanky body gives the same feeling as Driftermon's; extremely cold to the touch, with a nondescript texture.
What would differentiate its from being based entirely on a humanoid is that its four limbs are longer than the rest of its body, and that while it seems to have joints like elbows or knees, those don't really work like that. They are way more and may bend or expand in unnatural ways. They end up in a number of tendrils that vary seemingly depending on random circumstances. Sometimes there's just two, but up to five can be observed. Like its previous form, white, bony growths can be observed by the length of its body, even though this time they are focused on certain spots. What would constitute its head is pretty much enveloped in hard plates, while its back hosts several smaller growths that seem to have no specific role whatsoever. Like its previous form, no sensory organs can be observed.
H-Hybrid Spirit Fraction: Stridermon.
Attribute: Unknown.
Family: Unknown.
Type: Unknown.
Abilities:—Reprocess [Passive Ability]: Drawing energy from nearby sources, this digimon can gain sustenance and progressively heal its wounds over the course of time, growing stronger in the posts when it's not receiving damage. Can have the side effect of deteriorating the environment in bouts of voraciousness.
—Stolen Memento [Passive Ability]: This ability can be replaced by any passive ability this digimon has learned about. When this ability changes, it must remain active for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
—Dreams of Madness [Passive Ability - RAM Upgrade Giga]: This ability can be replaced by any passive ability this digimon has learned about. When this ability changes, it must remain active for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
—Eldritch Translation [RAM Upgrade]: The immediate terrain around this digimon becomes a recollection of geometrical shapes, their meaning as cryptic as what happens to any enemy who tries to use an ability within their boundaries. If a digimon would use an active effect, they take a moderate amount of damage and that ability is subject to twice the cooldown it would normally incur. Abilities with no cooldown are subject to a cooldown of two posts. Duration: 3 posts. Cooldown: 2 posts.
—Psychic Intrusion: Delves deeper into the target's mind. This digimon becomes aware of two memories, the knowledge of two abilities or something of similar weight about the target. This ability can only be used if the target's immobilized, helpless or willing for at least two posts, and can only be used once per thread per character. While performing this ability, this digimon can't perform any other action and becomes completely unaware of its surroundings. This ability can be resisted psychically.
—Regress: This digimon becomes able to see what the target sees, hear what they hear and sense what they sense. Possesses pretty much unlimited range, but its duration is limited by how much it knows about its target. While this effect lasts, the target is aware that something is not quite right (or maybe that it is, what do I know). Can only be used once per thread per target. Duration: 1 post per piece of information it has about its target. Cooldown: 2 posts.
—Serpentine Spike [RAM Upgrade]: This ability doesn't use this user's attack for the post. The next time the target would use an attack or ability with a single target, they can extend its the number of possible targets to up to five instead. Cooldown: 2 posts.
—Surreal Memoir: This ability can be replaced by any active ability this digimon has learned about. This ability is subject to the cooldown of the last ability that it mimicked. When this ability changes, it must remain as it is for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
Digivolves To: Siftermon, Wimon.
Appearance: Wimon can, in a sense, be called a step back, at least regarding the lot of its previous evolutions. Being approximately ten meters long, one could say that the digimon's massive body has even less coherence than Driftermon's, given its composition of dark blue tendrils coming from seemingly impossible directions. They constitute most of its form, creating a homogeneous, yet chaotic mass of sorts, at least until they reach the cusp of the creature's frame. A semblance of two longish limbs spring by its midsection, the two of them lanky and constantly bending into unnatural shapes. Crowned by an amount that varies between three to five digits, they seem to be the only tools the digimon has to make tasks that require any kind of care.
The other remarkable trait its body has is that what could constitute the beginning of its supposed head is marked by the juxtaposition of three rather big plates, all pointing forward. The head itself is small and has a bit of an acute, triangular shape, and, besides the aforementioned plates, no distinguishing features marks it in any meaningful way.
Its body, much like its previous forms', is extremely cold to the touch. What changes in comparison to them, however, is that this time, the feeling isn't on its own. Fluctuating degrees of flabbiness can be observed, they accompanied with plethora of sensations, ranging from blistering heat to a nondescript, comfortable tingle.
B-Hybrid Spirit Fraction: Wimon.

—Eternal Scourge [Passive Ability]: If this digimon would be defeated, it remains active on its very last legs instead. Unless given enough time to recover, the next time it'd receive damage from any source, it's done for good. Usable only once per fight.

—Fractured Identity [RAM Upgrade]: The target has the effects of two of their passive abilities instantly reversed and takes a moderate amount of damage per post while this ability lasts. If there isn't a clear opposite to the passive's effect, those are nullified for this attack's duration. Toggleable passives can't be disabled while this effect is active. Duration: 3 posts. Cooldown: 2 posts.
—From Beyond [RAM Upgrade]: Teleports to the location of the user's choice, given the user has been in person on that place before. Cooldown: 2 posts.
—Esoteric Recall: This ability can be replaced by any active ability this digimon has learned about. This ability is subject to the cooldown of the last ability that it mimicked. When this ability changes, it must remain as it is for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
—Noxious Field [Loaded]: Wimon releases an enormous amount of ink that volatilizes instantly, forming a 100-meter radius field. Due to its conductive properties, this ability inflicts a small amount of damage to any digimon inside of it every post while also lowering their speed by 50%. Wimon is not affected by this ink field in any way. Duration: 3 posts. Cooldown: 3 posts.
—Surreal Memoir: This ability can be replaced by any active ability this digimon has learned about. This ability is subject to the cooldown of the last ability that it mimicked. When this ability changes, it must remain as it is for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.

This ability can only be used if the target's immobilized, helpless or willing for at least three posts, and can only be used once per thread per character. While performing this ability, this digimon can't perform any other action and becomes completely unaware of its surroundings. This ability can be resisted psychically.
