A little bit on the sociopathic side, she is happy to use other people for her ends, but, she values loyalty above most other traits. If an individual acts with loyalty toward her, then she will think of them as one of her friends and will not seek to hurt them in any way - at least while their loyalty toward her lasts. Makoto despises betrayal.
Makoto tends to plan things to the letter, She mentally maps out a way to get what she wants, while of course playing by the rules. While she can be ruthless, she will not break promises or betray others, she will simply walk away from something if the only way to achieve it is through deceit.
If there is something or someone in the way of something Makoto wants, she will thus view them as an obstacle, and seek a way to get them out of her way, while of course staying true to her ideals of playing fair.
In regards to her partner, Makoto will view Deuce as an asset and an ally. As idiotic as he can be sometimes, she sees him as someone that she cannot afford to lose, and will tolerate him messing around. However, she comes to like him even more as he evolves and becomes more mature.

Makoto stands at 5'5", with a medium build. She has back-length brown hair with two small odango buns. Her eyes are magenta, and her skin is somewhat pale. Makoto's face is somewhat stern looking at most times, but with a sense of lack of emotion.
Makoto tends to dress in somewhat masculine clothes, with t-shirts instead of blouses, hoodies instead of sweaters, and shorts or pants instead of skirts. The only variation of this is her school uniform..
Makoto rarely smiles, the only times she does so is if she gains something of value. She rarely frowns either, unless she loses something.
When walking, she tends to keep her hands in her pockets, hence her preference for masculine clothing. She is also fairly unfazed when around her partner Deuce and he's doing his clownish antics, not changing her expression and hiding her feelings.
Usually, Makoto's only sign of being angry is the expression in her eyes, which can be quite fearsome for a moment if she's truly furious with someone.

It only made her resentful of her classmates that they seemed to get so much more than she did in terms of friendship, despite her being smarter than them.
Shortly after beginning middle school, Makoto kind of gave up with socializing, instead deciding to spend her free time learning games - both traditional and video. An ambitious girl, she hoped one day she'd be a figure toward the top of the gaming industry, and began to put her life into that sort of thing. Her favourite genre was RPG's.
Makoto grew somewhat distant from her family. Her parents tried their best to have her be included in things, encouraging her to volunteer for school committees and participate in situations where she would normally get friends. Each time she tried, however, she only felt more and more isolated as her efforts to attempt to 'fit in' were rebuffed or ignored. In the end, she gave up completely, thinking that she was more comfortable on her own.
One of the only other living things Makoto really likes is her family cat. He is growing old, but she still shows some genuine affection for him. She isn't entirely estranged from her parents though, she still talks to them, albeit formally.

As a Dracmon, his ideas of humiliating people involves things like whoopee cushions and water bombs. But as he evolves, these get significantly more malicious. Up until Piedmon when he aims for goals of grandeur, getting others to entertain him for his pleasure through any whim he might have.
Deuce's theme is games. He loves to play people, to make them bend to his will mainly because of how malleable people become when they lose games, rather than him taking control of them through force. He usually likes to play fair, but isn't above trying to cheat in order to win.
Deuce's weakness to his foes only involve those that can beat him fair and square at a game, even if he attempts to cheat. If he's beaten at a game, he will respect the foe that had defeated him, as long as they didn't cheat.
History:
Deuce used to exist as a spirit digimon, partnered to a human girl that somewhat resembled Makoto, and was quite deliciously evil. Deuce and his partner wreaked havoc on the digital world, growing stronger as they caused destruction and chaos upon the digimon they encountered.
That was until one eventful day when they were confronted by a Flaremon and a Leomon. Deuce and his spirit wielder slayed the Leomon, leering that they were merely doing what was inevitable. However, the Leomon did not die immediately. Instead, he digivolved into a form able to combat them, wiping the grin from Deuce's face, and claimed that if he wanted to do that 'dead Leomon' joke, they would have to try harder than THAT.
An enormous battle broke out between Deuce, the Flaremon and the now evolved Duftmon-X. The fight resulted in a loss for Deuce, but he relished the fact that he took the Duftmon-X down with him. However, he had the worst of it. His spirit wielder was killed, and his data spread across the battlefield. Eventually, he came back, only no longer as a spirit.

Appearance: Jackmon resembles a digimon similar to CaptainHookmon, with the exception that he has a face like this. He has a normal humanoid body, and does not have a gun in place of a leg. Stands 6'2" in height with one yellow eye, the over covered with an eye patch. Has shoulder-length straw colored hair and rather pale skin.
Jackmon's outfit consists of an Edwardian style suit with a poet shirt, consisting of frills at the cuffs and neck, this under a dark red jacket and black trousers. Over this, he wears a black coat with a red heart and diamond, and white spade and club. Instead of a weapon, Jackmon fights with cards and magic tricks, his combat skills based on special effects rather than overpowering the enemy with physical strength. However, he can conjure a sword to fight in melee combat if he must.
Jackmon also has the ability to levitate from this level onward.

Combat Passive Ability: Double Down - With any of Deuce's attacks, he has the ability to increase damage by 50% at will. In doing so, the cooldown of that attack will increase by 1 turn.
Queen's Heart - Deuce uses a technique with a card of the Hearts suit. By invoking the magic of that card, he can heal himself or 1 ally for moderate damage, and reduce any cooldown they have by 1. Cooldown: 2 turns.
King's Diamond - Deuce uses a technique with a card of the Diamonds suit. This card summons a magic barrier in front of himself or an ally that can block up to 1 ultimate level attack, or reduce damage from a Mega attack by 50%. Fades after 1 turn. Cooldown: 3 turns.
Jack's Spade - Deuce uses a technique with a card of the Spades suit. Conjures a sword with a spade symbol etched on the pommel. Deuce may use this weapon for 3 turns, allowing him to either slash at an enemy or parry their incoming melee attacks as needed, increasing his attack power and evasion a little. Cooldown: 3 turns.
Ace's Club - Deuce uses a technique with a card of the Clubs suit. Aims a devastating blast of magic that can either immobilize an enemy for 1 turn if it hits their legs, or concuss them if it hits their head, rendering them unable to use a named attack for 1 turn. Cooldown: 3 turns.
52-Card Cutup - Deuce conjures a full deck of cards, all of them hardened with razor sharp edges, then hurls them all at his opponent, aiming to slice them to pieces in a hurricane of blade-like objects. Deals area-of-effect damage to a 15m radius. [Cooldown: 2 turns]
Hold 'Em - Deuce makes no attack or defense move for the moment. In this turn, he reduces all active cooldowns he might have by 2 turns this turn instead of 1. [Cooldown: 1 turn].
