Mitsuko was finally out of class. Usually she loved her courses, but today Patamon decided to play stow away in her bag. A few times she was worried that Patamon would be found, but with a few quick distractions, and maybe a well timed kick or two, she seemed to evade detection. She strode towards the music building, seeing the new schedule was finally posted. She adjusted the strap, as Patamon poked his head out. "Whacha doin' Suki-chan?!" Patamon whispered.
"Well, I promised Luke a musical session remember?" Mitsuko saw that she had the music building booked in about an hour. "Lets see if Colin and the boys want to come play." Mitsuko smiled as she pulled out her D-terminal and typed out a quick message.
"Hey Colin,
The new music schedule has been released. If Luke, Bellamy, and yourself are still interested I will have the auditorum in about an hour. I hope Luke can come by and play a few songs with me. Hope to see you soon.
-Mitsuko & Patamon."
The silverette read the message, and included the address to her private school, Mugen Academy. Finally, happy with the message, she hit send. "Alright, and now we wait." For once, Mitsuko was really excited! Patamon rolled his eyes, and mentioned something about fleas, before ducking back down into Mitsuko's bag.

Finally, class was over. Although... Colin really didn't mind school these days. Having his two digimon partners by his side had really made him feel more 'at home' in school, being happier and enjoying the friendly banter between them. Both Bellamy and Luke were in their Holosuit forms of course, the two taking on appearances of 13-year old boys so that they could walk around in full view, but of course, it only changed their appearances, their personalities were the same.
"Vote Bellamy for the School Council!" Bellamy shouted as he walked down the crowded corridor, the purple haired boy holding out a wad of fliers, immediately cornering anyone who caught his eye and attempted to charm them into giving him their support.
"Bellamy, nobody's paying attention" Luke told his brother quietly.
"Hah, as if!" Bellamy said. He spotted a couple of girls that were giving nervous smiles at him, he charged over to them. "If you vote for me, I promise to convince the principal to get a better stocked student lounge! And also why wouldn't you vote for such an attractive specimen such as me?" he posed, sparkling a little with bishiness.
"Um... we just want to go home, thanks" one of the girls said. Colin decided that was enough, taking hold of Bellamy's arm and pulling him away from them.
"Don't forget to vote, ladies!" he called back. There was then a vibration in Colin's pocket. He took it out and realized it was his D-Terminal.
"Ah, it's Mitsuko and Patamon" Colin said, his partners reading the message over his shoulder. "Seems they've come good on the offer to play with you, eh, Luke?" he asked his partner.
"Heh, nice" Luke said, his blue eyes lighting up eagerly. "Come on, let's go!"
"Ugh, it's an hour away, can't we have somethin' to eat first?" Bellamy asked. Supposing that was true, the three visited the cafeteria, having some afternoon snacks and campaigning for the student council on some fellow stragglers. Colin was sure to send back an affirmation that he'd see Mitsuko in the auditorium.
Finally, the three of them headed toward the auditorium, opening the door to see who was in here.
"Ahh, I love the smell of polished violins in the morning" Luke said.
"It's the afternoon, featherbutt" Bellamy corrected him. Luke rolled his eyes.
"Yeah I knew that" he muttered. "Mitsuko, Pata, are you here?" he called.

Mitsuko had finally gotten her things put away when she heard the voices of Luke and Bellamy arguing. A small smile crept onto her face, as Patamon rolled his eyes, and called out to them from behind the curtain. "Yeah, we're here, and..." Patamon, for once was stunned speechless "Fleabutt is furless!" Patamon blurted out as he hovered in the air. Mitsuko came around the corner, going to scold her partner but upon seeing the three boys, she was speechless too. It was one thing to know about holosuits, but something else entirely seeing them activated. "Well, that's one way to shut him up." Mitsuko recovered, as she grabbed her partner into her arms.
"It's strange... they look human, but smell digital. I don't like it!" Patamon whined from his tamer's arms. "Well... until I get one of my ow---"
"NO!" Mitsuko finished. They had been through this multiple times before. Until he could act properly, no holosuit. Patamon just rolled his eyes and grinned. "Hey guys!" he called out "Long time no see, my how you both have changed!"
Mitsuko rolled her eyes, as Patamon launched himself into the air once again. "Colin, Luke, Bellamy. Nice to see you again." Mitsuko said formally, as she gave a small bow. "I would offer a tour, but I sense Luke is as excited as I am." Mitsuko gave her thousand watt smile, and brushed a strand of hair from her face. "Please follow me, and we'll choose a few instruments for you to begin with. Feel free to help yourselves to any instrument you'd like." Mitsuko grabbed her violin off of a nearby table "When your ready, we'll come back to the auditorium and play. It has state of the art acoustics." The silverette smiled, as her partner landed back on her head. "Band geek." he muttered, as the musician poked him with the bow of her violin "Be. Nice." Patamon rolled his eyes, and muttered something else about him always being nice. Mitsuko went behind the curtain, and through a carved wooden door.
The next room was full of extremely detailed, carved wooden cabinets with glass doors. The cabinets filled the room, floor to ceiling, on all walls, and displayed musical instruments of varying shapes and sizes. Clarinets to oboes, violins to cellos, trumpets to tubas, flutes to piccolos. Drums. Keyboards. Guitars. It was a musician's dream room. Mitsuko watched Luke's face the entire time. She remembered the first time she entered this room, she was speechless. She was excited to see how Luke responded.

Luke smiled when he heard the reply. So then, they were up for a musical afternoon after all! He saw Patamon fly out from behind a curtain and seem to stare with shock at him. "Well... as fabulous as my fine white butt is, I'm good enough at hygeine to keep the fleas out of it" he said, folding his arms.
The subject of holosuits seemed to intrigue Patamon. "Yeah, well, it's good enough for us to get by in class, so that's all that matters I guess" Bellamy said, smiling. "I mean, we've been enrolled in Colin's class and all that, it's been great"
The three of them were happy to see Mitsuko again. "Heh yeah, good to see you too" Colin said to the older teen. "We've had loads of adventures in the digital world. Bellamy and Luke can evolve to Perfect now" he couldn't hold back that little bit of information.
"Heh, yep, it's fun, but wow... all these instruments" Luke said, looking around the room. Pianos, wind instruments, string instruments, brass, it was simply so beautiful. "So this is how you humans make music".
Luke had of course been familiar with the notion of musical instruments, but seeing it all with his own eyes, the tools they used to make tunes. Few things had made him as excited as this.
"Heh, looks like Lukey's in some kind of mental haze" Bellamy said. Curious, the holosuited Impmon walked over to a piano, pressing a few keys to see what happened. The sounds they made were interesting. Okay... he was beginning to see what his brother saw with music.
Luke meanwhile paid attention to Mitsuko as she offered to teach him how to play instruments. She picked up her own violin. "Well... I guess I'll start with what I'm used to" the holosuited Elecmon said, walking over to the Guitar section and picked up an Acoustic instrument. He strummed the strings for a moment, giving a satisfied exhale as they sounded just like how he remembered. He put the leather harness over his shoulder and walked over to the auditorium.
"Jesmon Christ Mode, this place is beautiful" Luke exclaimed, looking around the magnificent music room. His brother and partner agreed fervently. Luke's blue eyes flashed around as he registered the instruments, imagining the sounds they would make if they were all played together. His heartrate increased with excitement as he realized what he would soon be listening to.
Colin and Bellamy meanwhile thought that this was a good opportunity for Luke to shine in his own light, so through their love for him, they sat in the audience stands, hoping he would excel. Luke meanwhile stood in the middle of the room, looking unsurely at Mitsuko.
"Okay, so... what should we start with?" he asked her, curiously.

" Congratulations guys!" Mitsuko said cheerfully " Patamon can evolve to Adult now." Mitsuko was proud of her partner, and figured it was worth sharing as well. Patamon nodded his head in agreement with Luke, yes it was fun. " Yes, it is how we make music." Mitsuko confirmed softly, as she watched Luke's face closely. He seemed to be a mix of excitement and awe. That is exactly how Mitsuko felt every time she came to this place. Patamon launched himself from Mitsuko's head onto Bellamy's " If you think he's in a mental haze now, wait until they start playing on the stage." He said, with a large grin on his face. Mitsuko had followed Luke onto the stage, violin in hand. Patamon taking temporary refuge on Bellamy's head. Hey, it wasn't as soft as Mitsuko's, but it would do. He wondered how much of a nest he could make in Bellamy's purple hair before he got kicked out? Hey, wait, so not the time for this. Suki was on stage! After a few warm ups, and scales to make sure her instrument was tuned perfectly, Mitsuko headed over towards a large cabinet full of music books. She took two out and flipped through them until she found what she was looking for. " Mitsuko is so gonna kick Luke's digital butt." Patamon quipped as he burrowed into Bellamy's hair. Move this strand over here, and that one over there. Perfect. A nice purple nest. And it wasn't too bad, still smelled like wet impmon. But, hey, you can't have everything. " Well, lets start with something a little fun, shall we?" Mitsuko said softly, as she placed a copy of sheet music onto a stand in front of Luke " Bohemian Rhapsody. A pure classic, and totally beautiful when played with string instruments." Mitsuko grabbed her violin, and began to play. It was strange, she hadn't played a duet in so long. But with Luke, it seemed so natural. Almost like second nature. The flow of music between them was like the ocean tide. It ebbed and flowed in all the right spots. For an instant, time seemed to stand still for the silverette. Her hair flowing with her body movement, as she played her instrument. All the mattered was the music, to make Luke happy. When the final notes finished vibrating off of the walls, Mitsuko looked at Luke. " Wow. That was truly amazing. I feel honored to have played that with you." Mitsuko smiled, " Please, feel free to go over and grab whatever music you wish to play. I chose the first one, it is only fair you get to choose the next one." Patamon was still too stunned at their performance. " Did I say kick his butt? I really meant... uh... yeah, I've got nothing. But If I had hands, I'd clap." Patamon cheered. " Impressive Furbutt! I think ya got a gift there." Coming from Patamon, that was about the best compliment one could get. "Ah really? That's awesome" Colin complimented Mitsuko. "Is it true that Patamons evolve into angel digimon?" he was a little curious to see what the result would be. For his partners, Bellamy seemed to turn into a wizard, then a mobster. And Luke appeared to be some kind of red Pooka in both his higher forms. Bellamy raised an eyebrow, but otherwise didn't object to Patamon nestling on his head. "Just make sure you clean it up after ya finish" he said. Having human hair was kind of odd, Bellamy was used to it being all over his body. But the hair he had still was very important to his looks. "Ahh, don't be too hasty on that" Bellamy said to Patamon, giving a smirk (even if he couldn't see it). "Back when Luke and I were solo independent digimon, Luke could play in a pub and we'd get free meals and board every night".Luke remembered it too. He wasn't as much as a braggard as Bellamy though, so he merely kept a smile on his face and he'd see how he'd go. He strummed his guitar, and was surprised to see it was much easier to handle with fingers instead of claws. "Ahh, so it's true that music sounds better on Earth" he remarked wistfully. He read the sheet music that Mitsuko prepared, liking what he saw. He practiced on getting the notes right and when prompted, prepared to play. When the music started, Luke didn't know how he could ever stop. It just felt so natural for him, knowing what the next note would be, how it flowed so well. Where the right time came for a bit of his own flair and what parts needed to be played as they were written. As he played, memories rushed back of nights in taverns, Bellamy sitting in the corner, watching him with adoration, other pub patrons doing the same with the scents of their complimentary warm meals wafting in from the kitchen. Yes it wasn't perfect, but, those nights with Bellamy, in the days before he had met Colin, they had made him so happy. So much so that it was probably how he and the Impmon ended up becoming twins - bonded through their past together. Colin could tell that there was more to Luke's playing than just doing it for fun. It seemed to be a part of him. And it was something that Colin could feel proud of in his partner. "Whew, that was just awesome!" Luke exclaimed, putting the violin down, smiling at Mitsuko. "Thanks for playing that". "Hey, don't talk like that yet, you just started!" Bellamy complained. "Go on, do another!""Heh, okay then" Luke said, turning through the pages of the book. He found a song that he really wanted to try out. "Ooh, Mitsuko, can we try this one?" he asked the girl, pointing to 'Stand By Me'. The lyrics kind of stood out to him. Like... it sounded like something he'd like to sing with his partner and brother.
(OOC: Maybe this is something they could play next? )

"Well, I don't know about all Patamons..." Patamon shifted in his nest "But I digivolved into Angemon. And keep your fur-er-hair on. I won't make a mess." Patamon rolled his eyes at Bellamy. Mitsuko enjoyed watching Luke play, she wondered if that was the reaction that she inspired in others. She surely hoped so. "Music is beautiful anywhere." Mitsuko mused. "I am glad you enjoyed yourself."
Mitsuko looked over the next sheet of music, and she raised her eyebrow. "Hmm. Very interesting choice." Her eyes briefly flicked towards her partner. Somehow Luke seemed to know exactly what she was feeling. Perhaps he was feeling it himself? "I think that choice is... uhm... very appropriate." Mitsuko read the sheet, making sure she was in the right key, before re-adjusting her strings. She tried to hide her face as she listened to Luke's start, he seemed to be in a real grove. Mitsuko's head nodded in time with the music, as she put the bow to the strings, and began playing the melody.
The music this time wasn't like the ocean, but rather like an electric current. It seemed to be charged, and flowing through her, and her violin. She felt as if she and Luke were connected by an invisible cord. As if the music connected them in an almost tangible sense. The silverette closed her eyes, and poured her soul into the song. The hope. The sorrow. The happiness, and pain. Everything she experienced in her tragic life, including the death of her mother... Stand by me, it had been her favorite song. Mitsuko thought, as the high notes hit full force. It was as if her soul supercharged the notes, they seemed to echo within herself. A stream of tears leaked out of her left eye, as the song finally ended. Hastily she tried to wipe it away.
"Wow." Mitsuko cleared her voice, hoping he didn't notice the cracking "Very impressive Luke. Why... Why don't you..." Mitsuko coughed again, Patamon noticed the change within her, and became really still. He knew something was up, but didn't know what was going on. But it was his job to protect his tamer. "Why don't you go choose another song. I need a moment." Mitsuko stood up briskly, and hurried back off stage. Patamon had already launched himself off of Bellamy's head "I'll be back, don't mess up my nest!" he called over his shoulder, as he tried to follow his Tamer. However, Mitsuko made it to the Instrument Room, where she closed the door behind her, leaning against it for support, before the tears came again. This time, they didn't stop flowing. Patamon pawed against the outside of the door "Suki-chan..." He whined. "Please, let me in. It'll be okay."

As they played the song, Luke immediately felt like he had made the right choice. Memories again circled through his head. The day he had first met Bellamy, when he had turned from bully to best friend. When they went on adventures together. When they had become mercenaries and ventured to Earth for the first time, encountering Bellamy's old gang and bringing them back to justice. When they had fallen to an ambush and Luke had almost drowned in a frozen lake, Bellamy almost dying too attempting to save him. When they were both killed by another of Bellamy's old gang enforcers, coming back to life as twins. When they had first seen Colin as he stepped off the Trailmon into their world, and he had accepted them. And all the moments afterward as the three of them lived together. Luke's eyes began to water a little as he played, each note telling words they had shared in happiness, sadness, anger, frustration, despair, caring, the lot. To him, Colin wasn't just a partner. He was family as much to him as Bellamy was. The song had seemingly made a number on the both of them, Mitsuko looked a bit teary as she played too. And as they played the final few notes, Luke felt the connection as well, like she had gone through an emotional journey in her life too. It seemed that Mitsuko needed a break. "Okay. Heh, that was lovely" Luke said, looking back at the music book. But... somehow it didn't feel that right, he felt like he should get something sorted with his partner first. As Mitsuko left the room, Patamon at the door, Luke crossed the room to his partner. Both he and Bellamy had utmost amazed looks at their faces, both of them astonished at the beautiful song that had just played. "Hey, uh, Colin?" Luke said, walking up to his partner. "I know, uh, we don't talk about this much... we mostly act like we're friends that like hanging out together, right?""Yeah...?" Colin asked, wondering where Luke was coming from with this. "I, er, just wanna say... well" he scratched the back of his head as the words didn't come out like he wanted them. "I think of you as much more than a friend, Colin" he admitted, blushing a bit. Colin's brown eyes widened with surprise for a moment. "I mean, you've done so much for us"."...have I really?" Colin asked, not really getting where he was coming from with this. "All I've really done is followed you guys around and helped you evolve, right?""Nah, you've done more than that" Bellamy said, grinning at him. "You've supported us, you've given us a home, you've cared for us, you've helped us get strong enough to protect each other and those we care about" he turned to his brother. "That right, Luke?""Yeah" Luke said, nodding . "And, uh, that's why I picked that song. I really do want you to keep on sticking by us, Colin, and we'll stick by you too" he chuckled. "Even if you turn into an adult in a few years, we still wanna be around you, and I hope you want us to be around too".Colin was slightly speechless here. He was deeply touched by these words, so soon after hearing this beautiful song. And he could tell that Luke and Bellamy were definitely not messing around. They really wanted this. And how could he deny them that? "Of course, guys" he said, quietly. "I want you guys to keep on being around. I don't think... I've ever had friends as good as you two""I think this calls for a hug now!" Bellamy said. "Don't worry, we'll flick the holosuits off so it doesn't feel weird for ya, hehe".For a few moments, the Impmon and Elecmon flicked to their natural forms. The two of them hugged Colin who chuckled as he put his arms around them, petting their soft fur. When enough time had elapsed, they withdrew, all their eyes a bit teary. "Luke, can ya pick a more upbeat song this time?" Bellamy asked his brother. "I think we could try out somethin' to get the mood up".Luke returned to his holosuit form and flicked through the music book. There he found something that should make Bellamy and Colin happy. Hopefully Mitsuko too, when she came back. "Hmm... hold on a sec" Luke said, putting the acoustic guitar away, then picked an electric guitar off the rack, plugging it into the speaker, testing it out for a moment. He set the music on a rack in front of him. "Hey, Bellamy..." Luke said, giving a grin, his blue eyes glinting a bit, one slightly brighter than the other. He gave a strum of the cord as he prepared to play a song. "...do you wanna have a bad time?""Oh my god" Bellamy said, staring. "Are... are you really gonna..." he grinned. "Yes. Luke. Do it"Colin was wondering what this song was going to be. "Hmm. I might check if Mitsuko's okay, she's been a little while" he looked over at the door, seeing that Patamon was still trying to get in. "Oh geez, is she okay?" he suddenly felt bad for not noticing earlier. "Mitsuko, are you alright?" Colin asked, walking up to the door next to Patamon.
Next song... Bad times: incoming

Patamon looked up at Colin, "I don't know. I need to get in there but..." Patamon just pawed at the door helplessly. Mitsuko forced her eyes shut as her body crumpled against the door. She hung her head as the tears kept coming. She could see her mother singing to her. The sobs racked her body but the silverette wrapped her arms around herself. The musician knew she was going to be okay, but couldn't voice anything to Colin or Patamon. Yes, her mother was gone. But it seemed as if she was still watching out for her. Patamon was living proof of that. Patamon watched out for her, and when she begged her mother for help, Patamon... he digivolved to Angemon. He would stand by her. Always.
The silverette tried to answer Colin but her voice cracked. She cleared her throat once again "Yeah, I'm fine." Mitsuko dried her tears the best she could "I just need a minute." The musician slowly stood up and looked around the room. She walked among the instruments, her hand lightly brushing up against them. She had heard Luke's electric guitar, and found the instrument she needed to compete with it. Her hands wrapped around a case, and she opened the door facing Colin and Patamon. "Sorry guys, I just needed a minute." Mitsuko smiled "I didn't mean to worry you." Mitsuko added with a small bow of her head.
Patamon rolled his eyes, as he took refuge back onto Mitsuko's head. "Hey, no fair hiding behind doors. I lack the necessary thumbs to open them!" Patamon whined. Mitsuko just giggled as she strode over to Luke and Bellamy. "So, I see you're kicking it up a notch. Mind if I join you?" Mitsuko opened the case, and a sleek, black, electric violin shone under the stage lights. She plugged the violin into the nearest amp and played a few chords. Patamon then took the time to look over at Bellamy.
"Bellamy!" Patamon cried, before flying to Bellamy. "What did you do?!" Patamon whined again. The once messy, albeitwarm, nest was gone. All destroyed! In its place was flat, perfectly normal, purple hair! "My nest... I told you not to mess it up..." Patamon's eyes started to fill with tears... uh oh!

Colin could hear from Mitsuko's voice cracking that it seemed the song they had played was a little too much. Hence he found it agreeable that Luke was going to play something more upbeat. It seemed to excite Bellamy after all.
By now the twins had kind of caught on that Mitsuko had been a little upset. They glanced at each other with mutual sympathy for Mitsuko. They understood how sometimes people had gone through a lot of crap, how sometimes they lost their friends and loved ones.
While they didn't know exactly what was up with Mitsuko, they didn't ask to know what happened as she came back into the room, both of them recognizing that memories like that were hard. Bellamy for one would never tell anyone what it was like seeing Luke disintegrate into data in front of him, while Luke had the same memory of seeing Bellamy get grievously injured in their last battle as independent digimon. They also both recognized that humans view death differently to digimon. For them, it was the final end, and both of them respected that fact.
"It's fine" Colin said as Mitsuko apologized for worrying them. She asked to join Luke.
"Of course you can" he said, showing her the song he intended on playing. He was eager to get started.
Bellamy meanwhile looked a bit awkward as Patamon seemed to be quite upset at his hair 'resetting' with his holosuit. "Uh, sorry bout that" he said. "Yeesh, propeller-ears, it's just hair, you can get the nest how it is back in a minute". Bellamy wasn't sure if Patamon was seriously upset.
"Oh Bellamy, how cruel of you" Colin said, jokingly. Bellamy shot him a warning look as though to say 'Don't you start too, pal'.
"Anyways..." Luke said, thinking they might be ready. "Let's start. One... two..."
He strummed the beginning cord, ready for Mitsuko to join in. Now this was something he would hopefully find enjoyable, bobbing his knees to the beat in a rhythm.

Mitsuko smiled at Colin again it was amazing how natural it seemed for her to make friends with other Digidestined, compared to her peers at Mugen Academy. "Thank's Luke" Mitsuko smiled as he handed her the sheet music. Mitsuko raised an eyebrow. "Oh, that's interesting! No wonder the sudden change!" Mitsuko double checked her plug, and sound levels. This was truly an amazing song and she wanted to give it justice. She followed Luke's lead. The rapid changing notes was invigorating! It was short, sharp, precise.
Patamon landed in Bellamy's arms, his eyes still full of unshed tears "But... it was my nest. I asked you not to mess it up." Patamon's voice was full of hurt, as he placed a small black paw against Bellamy's holosuited face. "Why would you destroy it?" That was it, the floodgate released, and the tears silently streamed down Patamon's face. Oh. Crap.
The upbeat song soon flooded into her, and it was as if the song became not just a duet but also a battle. They parried notes, and traded riffs. Mitsuko felt her mood brighten as the song came to a close. "That was impressive Luke!" Mitsuko had to take a moment to catch her breath. She didn't realize she had been holding it, while the last few lines of music had been played. "Where on earth... er figuratively speaking that is... did you learn that song?!" Mitsuko put her instrument down and crossed back to her bag and pulled out a bottle of water. "Anyone else want one?" Mitsuko called as she slowly took her first sip. Luke was truly fascinating. She looked forward to getting to know Colin and his partners more and more.

Bellamy gave an exasperated sigh as Patamon began to cry. "Ugh, there's probably a reason why Luke's better with kids than I am" he said, sighing, shaking his head. "Hey come on, you ain't gonna think it's the end of the world just because of a freakin' hair thing are ya?" he asked, honestly wondering if it was even worth going out of his way to make it up to Patamon if he was going to be so freakin' sensitive over such a little thing.
"I'm sorry alright?" Bellamy said, backing off, starting to be a bit unhappy at seeing this display. At least the song got his mood up a bit. While Luke would've immediately coddled over Patamon, Bellamy was not used to such babyish behaviour, and would rather just buddy-up with people rather than put up with crying over insignificant things.
Colin didn't think much of it either. Even if he was the 'baby' of his family, he learned long ago that crying didn't get him everything he wanted anymore. They both hoped that Patamon would calm down soon.
Luke meanwhile scratched his head at Mitsuko's question. "Heh, well, just heard it over the interwebs pretty often" he explained. "Bellamy seems to like it".
"Heh, yep" Bellamy said, giving a thumbs up of approval at the song. "Say, how 'bout another one?"
"Sure, but it's Mitsuko's turn to pick one" Luke said. "But yeah, a break sounds good" he accepted the offer of water and drank.
"I wouldn't mind one too" Colin added. Already he was very impressed with this show, and it even made him kind of interested in taking up learning how to play music too. But not today of course. Today was his partner's time to start to play.

Patamon shook his head at Bellamy's comment about the end of the world. When Bellamy actually apologized, Patamon burst into a grin "Sucker. I can't believe you fell for that!" Patamon teased, as he lept into the air, safely out of Bellamy's reach "I'm a Rookie, not a baby after all." Patamon pointed out, as he playfully stuck his tongue out. He figured he was safer out of Bellamy's hands. Less chance of injury.
"It's an amazing song." Mitsuko mused, as she took another drink from her water. "Sure, I'll pick one... in a minute..." She eyed her partner suspiciously. He was apparently causing trouble. Again. With an exaggerated sigh, she called out to Patamon "Hey. Be nice, or no more pumpkin seeds!" The silverette threatened. That halted Patamon in his tracks. He looked over at his tamer, his eyes widened. Slowly he landed back onto Bellamy's head.
"Here!" Mitsuko called out as she tossed a bottle towards Colin. "Help me choose one?" She wanted to talk to Colin alone for a moment, as she flipped through the pages of the giant book. She found a song that was popular, yet a nice balance between both instruments. And it allowed her to showcase Piano! Cool!
"Sorry Bellamy." Patamon said sincerely [Or was it the threat of no pumpkin seeds?!]. "I was out of line with my joke. I hope I didn't offend you." Patamon peeked his head over so that he could see Bellamy's face. "I just sometimes take it a bit too far." Patamon sighed. "I guess that's why Suki-chan and I make a good team. We balance each other out." Patamon smiled. "Truce?" Patamon offered a small black paw towards Bellamy.

Bellamy's eyes widened when he realized he was tricked. This shock quickly turned to anger. How could Patamon do such a thing? "Dude, that wasn't cool" he said, genuinely displeased. Bellamy was used to people only crying if they were genuinely upset.
Colin meanwhile didn't really react with anything other than a chuckle. He didn't mind tricks like that, and seeing that Bellamy was tricked as such was kind of satisfying, considering the amount of tricks the Impmon liked to play with those around him.
Colin was a little surprised when Mitsuko asked him to help her choose a song. "Er... okay" Colin said, unsurely as he approached, accepting the water. He only knew the basics of recognizing musical scores. But at least he recognized a few songs from their titles alone.
Bellamy meanwhile calmed down when Patamon apologized. While he had been miffed by the trick, the Impmon had learned to play it cool when someone apologized. "Ah that's okay" he said, right away. The holosuited digimon shook Patamon's paw. However, he would be on guard for any further tricks.
Colin flipped through the book and eventually found a theme he kind of liked. "How about this?" he asked Mitsuko and Luke, pointing to the page that showed the theme from Skyfall. He looked forward to see how Mitsuko performed on the piano. Presumably Luke would be content to continue playing the guitar.
"Ooh, that looks like a challenge" Luke remarked, hoping he'd be able to perform that. He strummed a few notes on the electric guitar in preparation.

Patamon's ears drooped, as he watched Mitsuko cross the stage. Something was going on with her. He just wished he knew what it was. "Hey, Bells?" Patamon asked gently. "You and Luke seem like you've been with Colin a long time..." Patamon's voice trailed off, as he pawed gently at Bellamy's hair. "How do you know... when something bad is going on. With your tamer?" His eyes never strayed from Mitsuko. He watched her talking to Colin. Too bad his large ears couldn't pick up from this far away!
"That song is perfect!" Mitsuko agreed, as she brushed a strand of hair from her face. "Colin, the reason I asked you over here was because... well..." The silverette felt a small blush upon her cheek. "I owe you an explanation. My mom sang that song to me. She died, when I was young. So it brought back many memories, some I thought I had in control." Mitsuko lowered her eyes and looked at the musical scoring of the page "Apparently I still have a lot to learn. And with Patamon..." Mitsuko quickly brushed her eyes "I just don't wanna lose anyone else."
Mitsuko looked, and made brief eye contact with her partner. For a fraction of a second, she knew that Patamon picked up on her feelings. Hastily, she wiped her eyes again, and took another drink of water. "Yeah, lets play this song Luke. It should be a real challenge." Mitsuko took her place at a piano, and set up the sheets. Slowly her fingers glided along the keys. The soulful tune erupted around her. She poured everything she had into this song. Love, pain, hope, loss. Before she knew it Mitsuko felt, more than heard, Luke joining in. It was as if he was echoing her own mood. The sounds of the piano and guitar mixed together so beautifully. They worked in harmony, as if they were gears in the same machine.
Soon, too soon perhaps, the song came to a close. For a brief moment Mitsuko reveled in the silence, as the last note finished echoing around the room. "Wow, that was amazing Luke." Mitsuko smiled. "You know, if you ever decide to stay in the Human World, I think you would have a great career as a musician." The silverette flipped a strand of hair over her shoulder "I'd feel honored to share the stage with you any day!"
