Nova’s expression didn’t change in the slightest as he stared at the Russian, presumably Viktor; he wore the same serious expression whenever it came to battle, a focused, straight face. It wasn’t until he looked back at Leo that he smirked again. There was something about a fighting spirit that amused him before a battle. “It’s rude to ask someone for their name without giving yours first, but I was going to introduce myself before you anyway,” he shot back. “My name is Nova Ozuka; strategist, cook, and a red and white belt in Judo.”
He thought briefly, unsure if he was right to sneak away without telling Sparky of the plan. He shook it out of his head. Sparky wouldn’t have allowed it, and he was smart enough to figure out Nova’s strategies, right? “We can start by making sure everyone gets indoors before the fog gets here. This should minimize the cost of failure. Afterwards, it’s just a matter of using myself as bait for the second time since I’ve been here,” he explained.
“Although I probably should’ve told my partner about my plan, I wanted to make sure I could go through with it without him trying to interfere, so I’m counting on him to figure it out. That old friend of his will probably jump in too. If there are many enemies and we can free captives, we’ll have them on the run if it’s going to be plan c instead of a or b.”

Viktor crossed his arms as he sighed; "Your life story does not interest me, nor does your rhetoric. Your name and a problem are fine, kid."
Viktor stood back as he explained what he thinks they should do, and thought Viktor didn't have much of an idea of what the problem was, he could already tell this kid was using 'strategist' loosely. Leaving your own men in the dark was a surefire way to fail, but Viktor kept quiet as he unfolded his arms and the entire thing was what some might call a "Charlie-foxtrot", but, at least he had some kind of idea on what he was doing.
Genesis glanced at Viktor, then looked back at Nova, kind of giving him the "seriously?" look as she shrugged and watched Viktor, who was not taking the matter seriously.
"Yes, and then we all sit down and play poker. My question is, before or after your partner attacks one of us thinking we are the enemy. Or when the enemy simple cuts you down because you believe that you should be a distraction. 'Sacrifice the plum tree to preserve the peach tree'. But you are running the show, chief. Please continue."
Viktor folded his arms again and waited, he'd follow this kid, against his better judgement. But Genesis wanted to help, and she was determinanted on this, and if nothing else, Viktor admired determination.

Rich put his hands behind his head and looked up at the group. It was obvious that there would be more fighting among themselves than the enemy. This alliance could only last so long if something didn't happen soon.
We won't get anywhere fighting each other. Let's just start over. Lets get moving so we aren't caught off guard. Nova. Go get your partner and explain whats going on. Viktor, You and Rich go get the residence into their homes, and Genesis, You're with me. Everyone has a Job to do Let's get going!" Leo said, trying to reorganize the group.
Rich rolled his eyes and looked up at everyone around him and couldn't help but smile. Its been a long time since he had had any interaction with another tamer or a digimon that wasn't trying to kill him. He finally felt that his days of being a lone wanderer were over. He still had the feeling he was hiding from something though. Something that had been chasing him this whole time. He couldn't put it into words, but the looming feeling of something watching him was always around. He felt a chill go up his spine as if someone was watching him at this very moment. He turned around to the spot where the feeling was the strongest, but it seemed to disappear just as quickly as it came on.
"Alright. If everyone is good with this plan, I'm going to get the town people into their houses before whatever is attacking attacks. I'd rather not have their disappearances be on my conscience so I'm thinking we should start moving. Rich said, turning his back to the group and walking towards the village.

“Actually, I’m the bait, which is why I had to leave my partner the dark. The last and first time I was bait, I had to convince him it was only because I can’t rock climb and that I wasn’t able to move the boulders. I’ll tell the rest of that story later if you ask, but the point is that if he finds out the plan he’ll try and stop me from being the bait, which is about as dangerous as being a distraction,” Nova explained.
“…However I suppose I could try to convince him to be a decoy along with me,” he said after Leo suggested going to get his partner. As soon as Leo and Rich were done, Nova nodded in agreement and was off. He ran for X’s house.
Sparkmon was chatting with X. He finally noticed something was missing, or rather someone: Nova. “X, where’s Nova?” he asked. X sighed. “He must’ve snuck out,” he answered. Just then the door swung open and Nova walked in. “Where were you?” Sparky asked. “Not important,” Nova replied. “I’ve got a plan to solve the mystery of all the disappearances, but I need help from both of you.”
“What do you need?” X asked. “Outside is a Coronamon with a Renamon. X, you’re with them. They should be able to fill you in. Sparkmon, we’re decoys,” Nova explained. “What are we decoys for?” Sparky asked. “Promise to let me go through with this if I tell you,” Nova replied. “I… promise I will…” Sparkmon vowed uncertainly. “We’re decoys to find out what’s causing all of this.” “I was afraid you’d say that.” With that, the trio left the house.

Leo was imposing, his stature and voice would send most normal people into fear, and Genesis was slightly unnerved by him. Viktor on the other hand, wasn't really scared, or at least what they could tell. He had done things most others couldn't even imagine, and saw death as if he was a drinking buddy. It was clear that Leo had a better idea on what to do than Nova, but he was deadset on letting the kid lead. He unfolded his arms as he patted Leo on the back after Nova's rhetoric,
"You cannot win them all, my friend. And for the record Rich, if I was fighting, he would be face first in the dirt. Simply pointing out a flaw as all good 'soldiers' should." Viktor stifled a laugh as he walked along the pathway, "But I have to call a spade a spade. I will warn the locals. Let us go Rich, if you behave I will buy you ice cream." He sidestepped with a smile for the now young tamer to take the lead as he would nod to Leo and follow on the plan they previously mentioned.
Genesis waved as she turned to Leo with a bit of a bounce in her step; "Okay, big guy. Following you. Do you need any other form, or just Rookie?"
She stood with arms folded, force of habit considering who her tamer was. But she knew Leo and Rich, and Viktor had some trust in them. He did listen to Leo, otherwise he would have ignored or shot down the idea. But yet, it was an angle he missed, and he did know when things needed to be done. But seeing as how he talked with them, she was sure he saw them as allies at very least.

Finally, the plan was underway. They still didn't know what they were up against, but they were confident that whatever it was, they could handle it.
"Eh. This form should be fine for now. You should always try to save your energy as much as you can. Its always fun seeing the look on your enemies face when you bust out higher forms, but its not always needed If we do need additional help, we could always meet up with Rich and Viktor and have them help us out." Leo Explained, as he walked. He stopped walking abruptly and closed his eyes. He took a deep breath and relaxed himself. "Whoever we're fighting, they are getting close. I can sense some dark energy coming near." He looked all around him preparing for whatever was coming his way.
Rich led the way back into the village. He wasn't sure how many of the digimon would actually take him seriously being so physically young. He walked up to a Veedramon and looked up at the digimon that towered over him. "Excuse me, Exveemon I'm assuming? We're going to need you to get back in your homes. We're clearing this village out of the intruders that have been causing trouble." He said, in a high pitched voice. He looked down on the ground and sighed. Even he knew that he must have sounded ridiculous.
The Exveemon laughed at the small tamer and patted him on his head. This could only go on for so long before Rich got angry. It wasn't until the Exveemon made one of the biggest mistakes of his life.HE TOOK THE HAT. The Exveemon plucked the navy blue Yankees hat off Rich's head and held it high enough that so Rich couldn't reach it. Rich looked up at the Exveemon with fire in With one swift motion, he latched onto the leg of the digimon and bit down on any bit of exposed flesh he could find. The Exveemon's eyes widened as the child crunched on his leg. He held his limb up and attempted to shake the child off, but he had no such luck. Until he got his hat back, Rich had a death grip on the culprit.

“To be honest with the both of you, I’m doing this more for me than the right thing,” Nova confessed as they walked toward where the others were. “The main reason I volunteered myself as decoy was to gather information from the missing villagers about where Sparky might’ve went after he left. However I still don’t want the villagers that are still here getting caught or hurt, so we should warn them just to make sure.”
“Wow, you take your promises seriously,” Sparky mused. Nova was about to say something else when he heard the screams of pain. He looked in the direction they were coming from and noticed Rich biting an ExVeemon’s leg with some of the villagers laughing at the ExVeemon. Nova covered his mouth to prevent himself from laughing with them.
“Sparky, you’ve gotta go help Rich,” he said, pointing at said tamer. “Ah that’s hilarious,” Sparky commented before running over to the ExVeemon. They both had to respect Rich, standing up to champion level like that took guts. He examined the situation for a few seconds before noticing the ball cap in the ExVeemon’s hand. He then ran behind the ExVeemon.
“Rich, I’m going to shock him in five seconds. I want you to let go so I don’t shock you too,” Sparky warned as he took off a single rubber glove, revealing claws that crackled with electricity. After the five seconds were up, Sparky jumped up and made a grab for the ExVeemon’s tail. Meanwhile, Nova managed to keep himself from laughing and walked X over to Leo and Genesis.
“X, this is Leo and Genesis,” he introduced them indicating each respectfully. “You’ll be working with these two, so listen to what they tell you. I’ll be trying to work out some battle plans.” With that, Nova sat up against a tree and got out his laptop. He began working out the plans for the second and third scenarios.

The wind blew a soft kiss on Viktor's face as he glared at the ground, the familiar sound of his pager bringing a sober realization of his existence as he looked to Rich, then to Nova, then to X. He read the message displayed and took a deep sigh, knowing exactly what it meant.
He spoke as he tucked the pager away, "Just when things were getting interesting. Rich, I have to collect Genesis and take my leave. I am needed elsewhere. X. If you shock the digimon you'll get Rich as well. And that could very well kill him."
Viktor pressed a small button on his watch, and waited. The button was a wireless communicator with Genesis, directly linked to her. If she was within a two mile radius, she'd hear a small beep in the back of her head, which was warrant alone to return to Viktor as fast as she could. She sighed and looked to Leo;
"I apologize, Leo. Viktor is calling me back. It's the "not and emergency but we have to go" call. I'm sorry."
She quickly vanished into a jump, landing on a nearby tree, dashing to her tamer as she landed with the group, stifling a laugh at the situation, thinking this was why she was summoned;
"You couldn't handle this yourself, pops?"
She smiled until she looked at Viktor, his face straight and eyes deadlocked. She knew exactly what that meant.
"Oh...Oh! Are they really calling you now"
Viktor nodded with an sigh, pointing to his watch, to which she returned the nod and shifted into Kyubimon. Viktor climbing atop and getting ready to speed to the portal as he spoke:
"Well, Rich. This is goodbye for now. Nova...work on your tactics. Genesis?"
She nodded and looked to Rich, "Until next time, Rich."
With that, the two dashed away, no time for a response, no time to argue. No time to justify. Viktor had a pressing matter that needed to be attended to. The two quickly vanished into the horizon, more than likely leaving a few scratching heads.

Rich was clamped down on the exveemon's leg with all his might. There was no way he was getting out of it until he either lost that chunk of his leg, or gave his hat back. The Exveemon listened into the conversation about potentially being shocked by the digimon. He looked down at the kid on his leg and didn't want to risk getting a nasty shock. He flapped his wings once and took to the skies. After he was about 20 feet in the air, he looked down at the tamer on his leg and smirked, but the tamer seemed unphased. He flew up another 20 feet and looked back down at the tamer, but there was still no reaction. He flew up a few more feet, before the pressure around his leg seemed to cease.
Rich's fear of heights was being worked on, but it wasn't conquered. He could only fly on his digion partner since he trusted him with his life. When the pressure was finally released fully off of the Exveemon's leg, the digimon shook the tamer off, causing him to plummet back down to earth. With no more use for the hat, the digimon tossed it aside and slowly descended back to the ground as the tamer fell 50 feet.
The look of pure terror was across the tamer's face as the ground came faster and faster to him How could a digimon do this if he just wanted to help him? It was beings like him that made him just feel like there was no hope in the world, but he knew there was. Leo was on the ground trying to catch his tamer, but he was too far away to get underneath him. He had to stand and watch his best friend finally stop falling and hit the ground with a thud.
Leo ran over to his tamer on the ground and turned him over. A puzzled look came across both of their faces when the tamer was still breathing, just sore and cut up. A fall from 50 feet should have killed any normal human. Rich looked up at the group and glared at the exveemon that had tried to kill him, but he still wasn't sure how he survived without any massive damages. He looked down at his right arm that he landed on which was obviously broken and saw blood spilling out of it, but something else was in the blood. He held his arm up to the light to reveal something... odd about his blood. It was the red color and everything, but looking very closely at it, you could see small numbers in it. Rich actually stood up slowly and showed the group his bleeding arm.
"Am... Am I bleeding data?

“Noted,” Nova responded to Viktor before he left with Genesis. Sparkmon put his glove back when the Exveemon took off, obviously grumpy that he couldn’t aid Rich. Leo was the one who pointed it out to X when Rich was falling, obviously being the first to notice. Unfortunately, they had noticed too late, proven by X’s own failure to catch Rich as he flew through the air.
He and Sparkmon stared in shock at Rich’s bleeding arm, that seeming to surprise them more than the survival of the boy. “Nova, get over here!” Sparkmon called. Nova closed his laptop and leaned it against the tree. He then ran over to the others to see what all the fuss was about. He too stared in stunned silence upon arrival.
“Sparkmon, go back to my house and get the First-Aid kit,” X told Sparky, also snapping Nova back to reality. As Sparkmon left, X and Nova simultaneously proceeded to give the ExVeemon a hard, cold glare that only a Virus Digimon and someone who’s lost a loved one respectfully could give, X only being the former and Nova being the latter.
Nova was the first to speak. “You should be ashamed of yourself. He was only trying to help you, and what do you do? You tease him, and then you drop him from 50 feet in the air!” he said, anger in his voice all too clear. Rich could’ve died, and on his watch too.
“How can you even call yourself a member of this village? Back when I was a Veemon, all of the ExVeemon and Veedramon were kind and considerate, even to me! I was considered an outcast by the rest of the Veemon all because I was a Virus Digimon unlike them, and what’s more my whole family is untrustworthy!” X snarled. He then turned away and unfurled his wings.
“Do whatever you want. You can get caught in that fog for all I care,” he added as he flew off. Sparky came running back with a ridiculously large First-Aid Kit, nearly tripping over a tree root. Then again, the one that owned the kit was a Champion level Digimon, so the size was to be expected. He sat it down next to Rich before opening it. “What happened to X?” Sparky asked. “He stormed off,” Nova answered.

“I’m going to take a break from planning to patch up Rich, you go look for some ice. If you find any, give it to me and then go look for X,” Nova told Sparks as he opened the kit. He wasn’t about to tell Rich not to cry. “Right,” Sparks acknowledged as he left to go to the home of his old friend.
“I seriously hope I remember how to do this,” Nova muttered as he rummaged through the over-sized kit. “Leo, could you go look for something we can use as a splint?” Nova asked as he retrieved some clean cloth. He looked at Rich’s arm. There wasn’t a bone sticking out, so he could treat it easily enough. He applied pressure to the wound firmly.
A look of frustration was etched across his face. He needed all the time and help he could get, and now he of all people had to treat a broken arm. To make things worse, he was even more short-handed than when he started because Genesis and Viktor needed to leave and X stormed off. At the moment he really hoped Rich and Leo were more than they appeared to be.
Because he doubted he’d be able to pull it off if they weren’t. “Please tell me there’s more to Leo than meets the eye.” Sparkmon walked into X’s kitchen and opened the freezer. He found ice cubes as well as two different sized ice packs. One would suit a human or a Rookie and below, the other was best suited for a champion. Memories of X treating his injuries came flowing back as he grabbed the smaller one. OOC: This thread is now closed until Ror gets back and posts. Sparkmon is losing his immunity to electricity, but will still be immune in this thread and this thread only because he is losing it ICly.
