“I learned to play the instruments of war," he said, "and paint in blood.”
Why is there so much sand here?
It should of been easy to explain with Kan being in the digital world; things like water and smaller bits of detail seemed endless in comparison to the real world. In the end it was just data of some kind meant for a forever loop right? The human snorted and checked a timepiece on his wrist; he had been walking for almost two hours now without a break and boy was he starting to feel it. His lighter colour gear was sand worn already and he could tell that some of the damn stuff was getting into his boots. He started to slide down the side of a dune his eyes on some of the wrecked buildings in front of him. The human hadn't come here for simple stuff; he had come to see if he could suppliment his arsenal of inventions by things he could possibly find in the ruins here. He might even find a clue on how to control his spirits. The human gripped his chest and let out a small grunt as he felt some of the beasts claw for control at the very thought of them.
No not here. It's not even close to the full moon. Plus we're in the middle of no where. You take over what on earth are we going to do?
Nothing. They would do nothing and then they would die; Kan could feel the beast within him grow quiet and the human continued after he was done sliding down the side of the slope. Sure he figured that some of the outer buildings would be completely taken over by sand and then ones past that would probably be completely empty due to looters of the past. The human winced a little bit as he passed by a enormous skeleton; one that even dwarfed his late companion sebastian. The dragon digimon had been massive compared to most and the human was thankful that they had eventually parted ways. He slowly ran a hand through his hair; as of late he had been forgetting his hat no matter where he went for some reason but thankfully he had it stashed in his backpack if he needed it. The hood that he had from his coat made up for the hat and it would keep the sand from getting into his hair for the most part...
Even if It didn't, other than me there wouldn't be one to care.
The human continued his trek; his trail leading in a winding path through some of the buildings and even back onto themselves as though it'd be harder to track him. Though anyone with a decent tracking skill would notice the double steps. He was passing by another busted down building when a gust of wind blew back his hood and made his arm fly up to protect his face....
